Zooming is wow , good for just click pics don't expect any extra effects. Battery backup could be more for long time photography and shooting, drained within couple of hours.

Best for beginner with 45X optical super zoom
I brought this in emergency for my Manali Trip and it worked for me! Mainly its zooming capacity helped me for to capture beautiful landscapes, soaring of vulture, different modes as per natural lighting and adventurous activities like paragliding, river rafting and skiing.
I will suggest all beginner as it also helps manual ISO, light settings, different mode (P). It can replace DSLR as beginner

Waste of money
Very worst picture quality. There is no precision. Don't waste your money. You can take good photographs through your low cost mobile than this canon cyber shot camera. Amazon customer care was not at all ready to solving my issue. Pathetic experience. I purchased this camera on 30th January,2019. Amazon was not ready for any replacement or refund Eventhough I explained my issues to them. If you purchase this you will get mental worries which is guaranteed.

Worth what I paid
Spend 1 day with the product, and I am impressed with the performance, but it's not suitable for all.
PROS:
1)Good zooming power(Clarity stays well till 45x(optical zoom), but above that it goes upto 180x with digital zoom,which totally spoils he image quality)
2)Easy to use
3)Battery Backup seems good so far.
4)They provide wrist strap and bag, build quality also is pretty good. Light weight and easy to carry.
CONS:
1)It struggles to focus. It's very hard to get it to focus on what you want to shoot. You can see in the 2 flower images I have given. It is the thing I hate the most i this camera.
2)Very unstable with zooming. At maximum 45x zoom, even little shake will totally change the frame you are shooting. I use tripod stand(Do the same for better results)
3) Digital zoom is total waste. But 45x optical zoom is lovely. I disabled Digital Zoom.
4) No option to change, shutter speed, ISO and exposure. Doesn't offer much settings. Only suited for basic level photography.
5) Low light and Indoor photos are not up to mark.
Overall, It's a good product in the price range. Good for basic photography for social media, but it's not for one with high expectations. I am not completely satisfied with the product but I am surely not disappointed with it aswell.

Worst service and product
Useless product. Why use this camera if every photo is to be taken in bright sunlight. Neither WiFi nor other settings work. There is no autoflash feature either.
Mobile camera is even better. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Moreover Amazon is also providing useless services for such defective products. They want me to repair it at my own. My last purchase from Amazon.

Its a toy camera
This is one of the wrost point and shot camera I ever brought. Dont know how people given a good review below or I recieved a faulty camera. Only add on is zoom which is just ok not so great. Image quality is poor than my Galaxy S8. There is no stabilizer.. look the photo 1st one is S8 and 2nd one is from SX430. There is less detail and more noise. Only lil bright due to Flash. If you zoom the picture in laptop you will feel the difference. No much setting to control your shot. Previously i used a Fujifilm and that one was grate according to that price. Better that this one. I just so much fadeup that I will never buy a Canon camera in my lifetime. Requested a return.

Quality of photos are very poor..
Guys please do not buy this camera..the quality of the image is really really very poor...just a waste of money..I am pretty much sure the pics taken from a mobile camera would b much better' than the camera pics.. and they don't have any return policy for this camera.... So don't think of buying it guys waste of money....

Pathetic and waste of money
The image quality and video quality both are awful. Dont even think of buying it as your cell phone can do far better. The most disappoint part is that these people claim it to record at 1080p i.e Full HD, where as it can only record 720p videos (See the pictures). I immediately contacted amazon and got the refund the next day.

'Zoom' thats all, nothing else
It is just a simple point and shoot camera with 45x zoom. No modes. No setting options. Picture quality is good but its not the best. If you spend a couple thousand more you'll get a better one

The best part of this camera is its zoom capability. Picture quality is good. This camera is probably the best in this price range.
Cons: The images of the objects in motion are blurred. So it is not good for snapping sports events, flying birds etc. No option to adjust shutter speed.

Zoom very very good picture quality not so bad but the process is late and camera grip and screen is small battery life is short charging time is long not for a long trip it's for short photography I am not satisfied with the performance but zoom is speechless. I have repurchased it after return and buy the Sony cyber short. after this i feel that canon is best

Hi Amazon. I would like to complain that the camera that I bought the seal on the box was broken and also to my surprise it had photos which I shared. This is highly disappointing as it's a pretty costly thing. I am replacing the camera because of it being used ! The one stars are not for the cameras feature

Overall this product is Ultimate. The 45X Zoom makes ur mind blow.
Batter levels are btr but cant say good. Picture quality is decent not like wow.
Other features are good and attractive. especially WiFi, remote control makes easy access.
Instead of 16GB memory card they could have given a bigger one. Still its a decent product to purchase

One of the product where you get more than what you, pay. It ll take a while for you to learn the art of taking best shots. If you are not in to proffessional photography, but all you want to have is nice clean shots of events, academic, or research purpose, then its the one you are looking for. Must say about its extra ordinary 45x zoom. Which is the best in this segment. Buy this product with the aware of your actual purpose. Dissappointing thing is you cant take good shots in low light condition.

Just an OK point and shoot camera. After using my Nikon D5200, it is difficult to like any other lower version cameras. But zoom is good. Good light gives good images. Low light photos are not good. Still worth the money paid

Much better than I expected it to be. Apart from the excellent zoom and clarity, what I like is the Wi-Fi feature that enables me to transfer pictures immediately to my mobile and tablet, and also use my mobile as a remote for the camera .... A great buy!

Excellent zoom. Moon craters are seen clearly. The moons of Jupiter, rings of Saturn are also clearly visible. Phases of Venus can also be seen. It is giving better zoom than the costly dslr’s.

QUALITY REFUND RETURN ZOOM
I purchased this on Dec 16. I was expecting this to be a good cam as described. Zoom is good but it wont focus on objects nearby. If you are expecting DSLR effect in photos then this one is not for you. Better to go for DSLR only. One major problem is, it records in 720p and not in 1080p as described. I returned and got refund for this.

Yes, this lens is an expensive, it is big, it is heavy BUT: It is worth the cost, the size and the weight. The pictures are unbelievable. I'm not sure what Canon has done with this lens, there are a lot of elements, and I would think there would be significant light loss through them, but there is not. Also, I've read that the sensor in the EOS R is the same one as the 5D mark IV. yet the images I get on the EOS R with the native RF lens are much sharper, with more detail, better colors, etc than I get on the 5D Mark IV.
For years I have taken pictures. I've let my subject judge if the picture was good or not. With this lens I'm changing gears. I'm taking into account the gestalt of the entire photo. The bokeh is smother than any other lens I have used. The subject just pops out of the photo and the background can now be used to enhance the entire photo.
This lens has set a new standard in image quality and resolving power. It seems that Canon has gone back to basic physics and they are taking advantage of the close proximity between the lens and the sensor.

This lens is like the Thor’s hammer of lenses. I purchased it to shoot events and to harness the full strength and might of f/2.0 and I wasn’t disappointed. Due to the thickness of the barrel the lens is able to allow more light into the lens at lower iso wide open and faster shutter speed. I shoot Mainly nightclub events so the lens was a dream to use. No image stabilization? Whatever... I can shoot at 1/60 shutter speed at 320+ easy and still Capture ambient light in the background at certain venues on my brand new r6 which has ibis with no motion blur. I have zero regrets about the price because now I have about 5 primes lenses in the form of one zoom lens. The only trade off is the weight which is around 3lbs but it’s ok. I haven’t been to the gym in a while so this is my new fitness regimen and will get lighter for me as I get used to it. After the first night I used it my pectoralis majors are sore AF from lifting up my camera for crowd shots paired with a custom bracket rotating camera bracket and a 600rt which puts my rig at around a whopping 5-7lbs with my adapted ef70-200 strapped to my waist. I shot the event for 3 hrs and I’ve done at least 60 reps of overhead lifts, around 80 squats to shoot certain people at eye level due to me being 6’2”. A few women who I photographed were twerking dropping down low to the ground caused me to have to shoot at that vantage point causing me to have to execute maneuvers that would equate to about 30 upright burpees and I loved every single minute of it. My glutes really took a beating as well. Overall I’m impressed with the cameras ability to pull off 90% accuracy at f/2 in low to almost no light. It would’ve been 100%if I didn’t use eye af due to it sometimes locking onto faces and more contrasty areas in the background but that’s a user error and something I will be able to improve as I use the camera more using expanded cross points af. The Focus motors seem pretty fast as well and have never been able to capture so efficiently in my 12 years of shooting. This lens body combo is by far the greatest rig I’ve used to date. Mirrorless technology is the future of the photography industry and it’s still at the beginning stages. I can’t imagine it getting any better after a another generation of R bodies and RF lenses but it will and I’m excited and scared at the same time. If you can afford it... buy it. You will not regret

This lens is hands down the sharpest Canon lens I have ever used. I would have given it 5 stars but I have two minor complaints, the first being the new plastic shell Canon is using is more prone to marring and I was caught off guard by how large and heavy this lens actually is.

The one thing I dislike about this lens is the weight: however, it was not enough to discourage me from writing this review: The image quality is superb, and the fact that I can replace a bunch of lenses and still keep an F2 constant aperture makes it worth while. If you are on the fence about this lens, I suggest you rent it and see for yourselves. Its definitely a keeper for me.
