Должна всем понравится эта камера.
С прямыми руками можно сделать красивые кадры этим аппаратом! - - Объектив Кит который идет в набор не очень чувствителен с свету, то есть пейзажная съемка будет не очень качественной,...

отличный аппарат
- + очень легкий, хорошо ложится в руку, отличный автофокус, хорошее качество, хоть объектив и китовый но на улице снимки великолепные!
ISO почти не шумит (если вы не собирались снимать в очень темном помещении без вспышки) 1600 - есть чуть чуть шума. цена - не главное, но зато подойдет начинающему фотографу (как таковым я являюсь) и даже опытному пользователю - - не сталкивалась пока
устройство отличное. по сравнению с Canon PowerShot Pro1 (у которого был отличный объектив и ужасное ISO) он просто великолепен. советую купить тому, кто только познает шаги в фотографии

- + Легче чем 450, шершавый корпус очень хорошо "сидит "руке!!Легок для моей дочери 14 лет!!Отличное качество фотографий даже с КИТовым объективом!!Со штатива фото вообще превзошли мои ожидания!!

Мой вывод-стоящий фотоаппарат. Держала в руках 450 D. Разницы не ощутила никакой
- + Понравился мне этот фотоаппарат очень. Я начинающий фотограф. Простой в эксплуатации. Удобный. Вес отличный. Китовый объектив размывает задний фон даже на автомате. Ну и цена радует.
- - Пока не нашла. Может более опытному фотографу что-то покажется "не таким". Но мне все нра.

- + для начального уровня ОЧЕНЬ хороший объектив. не слишком тяжёлый, быстро привыкаешь:) ISO 100, 200, 400,800, 1600
- - как раз по поводу светочувствительности.
не имея хорошего объектива, а который идёт вместе с покупкой (если кит) снимать можно только...

- + Компактность(в сравнении),приемлемая цена,Качество снимков великолепное.Главное научится аользоватся и все будет Ок!!!
- - О недостатках сказать сложно,все на свою цену.Если что лучше,то и дороже.
Классный фотик.Имея все оборудование для студийной съемки можно делать хорошие снимки!На улице тоже.Желательно вспышку помощнее.

Во-первых, кто сомневается - брать дешевую зеркалку или дорогую мыльницу - не сомневайтесь. У моего друга PowerShot G9, а мой 1000D самую малость дороже, но сравнивать их невозможно - небо и земля.Во-вторых - все преимущества зеркалки налицо - автофокус - быстрый, ГРИП - маленькая, шумы видны глазом разве что на 1600 ISO. Видны, но некритичны. :)Многие жалуются на пластиковый корпус - я ничего страшного в этом...

- + Небольшой вес,отличное меню,удобные кнопки управления,хорошее качество снимков,неплохая функциональность и все это за нормальную цену.
- - За полтора года не нашел.
Отличный аппарат,но,желательно,подкупить обьектив посолиднее и вспышку помощнее.

- + Конечно самое главное достоинство 1000d это соотношение цена-функциональность. Все последние технологии, применяемые в зеркалках здесь есть (за исключением видео) плюс ко всему даже более крупный пиксель в матрице, по сравнению с 450d (что на практике дает меньше шума). Очень удобный корпус и управление на нём. Дешевый на вид пластик корпуса недостатком не считаю, так как это только на вид он дешевый и не более того, а в целом очень достойный корпус. Очень удобная и полезная функция ручного фокуса в LiveView, да и вообще очень много полезных фишек есть в аппарате.
- - Смотря с чем сравнивать, если с одноклассниками,...

I bought this camera over four years ago to see if I could get back into photography after a break of some 20 years. I didn't want to spend too much and still had a 35-105mm lens from my old print film Canon T70. I wasn't really a fan of the T70 as I'd always used Pentax previously however, as the T70 was the last camera I owned, I stuck with Canon. As some other reviewers have mentioned, using the old 35 - 105mm ef lens with this body does throw up the odd error code (turn it off and back on again) but I've had no problems with the 18 - 55mm kit lens the camera came with. I also discovered, having stuck my old flash gun on the hotshoe and fired off some exposures, that the camera cannot manage through-the-lens flash metering or control the flash. More worryingly, older flash guns can apparently fry your in-camera electronics! Fortunately no harm done - live and learn.
This camera is responsible for my falling in love with photography again. I've shot well over 2000 images in the time I've owned this and thought long and hard about whether to bother upgrading or not. The camera works brilliantly as a point-and-shoot camera using the seven auto modes (Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Action, Night, Suppressed-flash and fully auto) although you can't shoot to 'raw' using these modes. I mainly use the Programme mode which gives intelligent control over the balance between aperture and shutter speed, as well as full control over exposure using +/-2 stops compensation meter; this is really quick to dial in. I occasionally use aperture priority and shutter speed priority when I need to control depth-of-field or movement and very occasionally full manual when I'm being anal and want to take complete control. The camera has an ISO range of 100 - 1600 (left on ISO100 99% of the time)and also has a `Bulb' setting which is really useful as I occasionally use neutral density filters to blur water or take city-scape shots at night. One other feature I love is that you can set a plus/minus range and the camera will take three consecutive images across this range which is great for HDR; if you take jpeg+raw you can get a really wide dynamic range to play with.
I've regularly produced superb A4 colour prints to a really high standard and I believe, with the 10mp sensor, I could possibly push this to A3. A minor quibble is the focusing could be both faster and sharper (it often doesn't focus on the point you want it to) but I'm used to manual focusing anyway and use this method with the results are critical.
In short, this camera does everything, and a lot more, that my old print film camera did when I was doing my degree back in the 80's (a large component of which was photography). The only difference is you can see the results immediately and discard any shots that don't work out at zero cost. I've decided to upgrade (to a Canon 7d) because I really love photography again and want to see how far I can push my hobby. The fact I haven't considered upgrading until this point says a lot about the 1000d. I spent £300 on this camera and don't regret a penny. To pick up one of these bodies up now for c. £100 is a real bargain. And no - I'm not getting rid of mine.

Having previously owned (a rarely used) Canon SLR and two Canon Powershot digital cameras, this (and the 450D) was the logical choice for my first digital SLR purchase.
I was toying between the 1000D and 450D but the latter cost nearly £100 more body only which didn't seem worth it for the minor improvements in MP and fps. I purchased the 1000D in 2009 and although scratched and battered from using it for many concerts, it's still going strong.
Being used to Canon's menus I had no problem using the camera straight out of the box, to my small hands the size is perfect though I'm sure most men would find it just too small. I've played with a Friend's 7D and I struggle to even hold it due to it's size! Kit lenses are next to useless for concert photography so a second hand Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 is predominately on mine. Coupled with the Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 the camera does feel a bit unbalanced though and an XXD body would be better balanced with this lens.
I mainly shoot concerts and the AF is acceptable but not lighting fast. I only ever shoot RAW and the 1.5fps in RAW is a bit pitiful. Shooting a recent ballet did leave me wishing for more. Noise is acceptable at ISO 1600 and can usually easily be reduced in Lightroom 4. As most of my shooting is in dimly lit concerts I do wish the ISO performance was a little better and went to 3200.
I'm reaching the stage now that I'm looking at upgrading to (probably) the 60D for concerts for better AF, ISO capability and higher frames per second but I will hold onto my 1000D as it's light weight and small size make it indiscreet and great for carrying round for a day.
As the camera's a few years old now and many people will be upgrading, I'm sure you can pick up the 1000D for a good price second hand. If you're not bothered about having video and want a cheap, reliable first SLR which won't give you wrist or back ache from carrying round then try to pick one up. Purchasing a cheap SLR body will leave money for some decent lenses which is a better option than an expensive SLR and kit lenses.

I just want to let you all know that if you buy from this seller, you might not get your order. I ordered this item a month ago and I still don't have it. After sending e-mails to the seller confirming my address and still saying that I dont have my order, they said to me to just wait. It's been too long now. Plus the service is not very good, all you get in a reply is about 4 or 5 words.

I already owned a Canon EOS450D camera with 2 standard (18-55mm) lenses plus two other longer telephotos. Why buy another lower spec. camera? Easy, times without number I've found that I've the "wrong" lens fitted for that once in a lifetime shot and of course by the time I've swapped the moment has passed. Why the 1000D and not the current, and better speced, 1100D? Again simple the 1000 use the same battery as the 450, is in this case £120 cheaper than the 1100D. All my accessorys fit both cameras, and the specification is good enough for my requirements (in fact most non professionals will find the 1000D an adequate second body).

I treated myself to the Canon 1000D kit complete with the EF-S 18-55 kit lens for Christmas (my 'To Me, From Me' present) and I'm not disappointed. I wouldn't describe myself as a photography buff at all and prior to buying this camera used a neat little Canon Powershot compact. So why change? Having initially pooh poohed the idea of a Digital SLR as far too complicated and too much of a 'serious' camera for me, I was persuaded otherwise by someone who had the Canon 500D and having been persuaded that it was just as easy to use as my point and shoot with full auto settings (and it was when I tried it) I was won over by the difference in quality of the photos. I did some research via 'Which' and the Canon 1000D came out tops as a 'best buy' in terms of picture quality and ease of use. In fact most of the digital SLR's came out with top ratings for ease of use so don't be put off as I was by the fact that it looks a 'serious' camera. Picture quality is excellent, the kit lens supplied takes great shots and there is a full auto set-up which makes it as easy to use straight out of the box as your compact digital 'point and shoot' camera, but the possibilities are endless and I can guarantee you will end up taking some really professional shots. Another tip - buy the 'Dummies' guide specifically for this make/model by Julie Adair King - if shutter speed, exposure and ISO all sound FAR too technical this great book will help to make sense of it all in a very easy to follow, no-nonsense kind of way. Yes you can keep it on the 'auto' setting and take great pictures with it but as Julie says with this camera, that's like having a Porsche on a treadmill and never taking it out on a real road! Go for it, you'll be glad you did!

Received product over 2 weeks ago. Since then I have used it on two contracts shooting group portraits at balls. Image quality is great, easily reproducible at A3.Focus is fast and sharp and colours are reproduced accurately, requiring minimum retouching in photoshop elements.
I have fitted it with a battery grip and a powerful nissen flash unit. Although not Canon, these units are well made, packed with features and the camera works really well with them, creating a usable kit for a fraction of the price.
Overall an excellent camera for the price, fitted with the latest canon features usually found on mid-high range DSLR's
