- - На мой пк не встал, я использовал ноут и все было хорошо, не знаю почему, но мой пк он принять не захотел

- + Фотокарточку старую прошлого века отсканировал на 600 dpi хорошо получилось теперь останется на память и можно восстановить через редактор замятые области! Для дома больше и не нужно

- + Сканирует нормально, не супербыстро, но приемлемо.
- - Внезапно перестали работать кнопки на сканере. Переустанавливал драйвер и ПО, какие-то службы запускал по советам из Сети - бесполезно. Сам драйвер лохматых годов и Canon не хочет обновлять - проще впаривать свежесделанные устройства, на техподержку забили...

- + Отличный сканер. Очень радует что разьем type-C - никаких проблем с питанием как у его предшественников.
Работает в линукс (Ubuntu) из коробке, только установить XSane - - Их нет.

- + Отличный сканер для ДОКУМЕНТОВ! Если Вам нужны сканы фотографий - берите с CCD датчиком. Различия в принципе работы CIS и CCD можно детально посмотреть в интернете. Высокая скоость сканирования - около 4 секунд на документ (цветной, оттенки серого, ч-б) с разрешением 300dpi (Подключение к USB3.0).
- - Для сканирования разворотов книг может быть потребуется приноровиться (я не сканировал). Для сканирования фото я бы не брал его по причине датчика. Но был опыт сканирования пары фоток - получилось хорошо. Цветопередача...

We bought this to replace a high-speed Fujitsu that finally wore out after about 7 years of heavy use. The Canon takes up a much smaller desk space and scans faster than the FI5220 did. The included software works just fine, although we scan directly in Acrobat most of the time. It does have a nice option in that you can throw a physical switch and scan the front page of a multiple-paged document - very handy for scanning invoices that have been stapled to other documents. The Canon claims to be able to scan differently-sized documents at the same time. I've had limited success with this function, as it tends to create either jams or multi-feeds. We put a wide range of documents through the scanner, ranging from hundred-page pleadings to business files that have been sitting in a box on a shelf for ten years. What we are seeing after a month is that when called upon to scan recently printed documents, it tends to be unable to take any pages without the paper being hand held at a certain angle and with a certain pressure, whereas with older paper - especially carbons - it jams. In the end, this is a fast scanner that will work well for almost any professional setting where the person doing the scanner has the time to baby-site the scanner and make sure that there are no double-feeds.If you are looking for something that you can run several hundred pages through in a single day and not have to double check that all of the pages were properly scanned - keep looking.

I saw other reviews and they were favorable.. It works well with windows 7 which is why i bought it as my other scanners couldn't make the transition. There is really no bundled software which is ok now that office programs are more advanced. I do like the fact that it does not require any transformer.. It works well with adobe acrobat and ms word..I also like the fact that it is mostly the cheapest scanner out there..

This purchase will go down in history as the one that taught me to always check the dates of the reviews. I bought it in 2013 cause it was cheap. But had to purchase VueScan as well so that I could even use it! The driver can't be installed on any computers beyond Mac OS 9. whoops! It works for me now, but it's slow and reminds me of being a kid waiting for my mom's scanner to do something. Woot.

We use this scanner every day, at least 100 pages or more per day, but well within it's operating limits. It is a great scanner, but my only complaint is that is double feeds entirely too often. Our admin sits right outside my office and all too often I hear their blood pressure start to rise and they try to scan things again and again but with double feeds. I clean the retard roller often as in the instructions, but that only works for a day or so. Our Canon repair person said to try WD-40 on the roller because that makes them more sticky. That works OK for a couple days, but then it is back to double feeding. I have bought new retard rollers and they work for a while, but then it goes right back to double feeding. That is entirely too frustrating when you are half way through a 50 page document to have to start all over again. Great scanner, but they need to improve the feeding mechanism.

Good scanner, has lots of features including quick copy or file buttons. Has adjustments for darkness and pixels. I use mostly 150 and 300 settings. I like Canon products and have a Canon color printer and camera. The negative scanner is slow at higher settings and if you are going to do lots of negative scanning get a dedicated scanner.

I've had this scanner for some time. I worked great for XP, but when I bought a new computer, it was loaded with Win 7.. It just wouldn't work there. I downloaded the drivers at least six times, and tried to load it. I just won't work. Since I don't have XP any longer, I have have a huge paper weight or door stop!

I've had no problems with this scanner, worked perfectly under both Windows XP and Windows 7. When I upgraded to Win 7, the software loaded up with no problems at all. Excellent scans for both documents and photos. A more economical version of the 9000f.

No complaints with the case. It fits the Canon DR-3010C scanner just fine. The shoulder strap is adjustable and can be configured to carry the scanner horizontally (as pictured) or vertically. My only complaint is that the DR-3010C scanner is not as "mobile-friendly" as the DR-2580C scanner it replaced. I'd trade the DR-3010C for another DR-2580C in a second.

This scanner is great! It automatically scans the back side if anything is detected on that side. I use it to scan invoices, so it is great that it automatically detects the back side and scans it as a second page

Scanner handles a max of 7 pages without jamming. We scan documents that have been used outdoors, so occassionally wrinkled or dirty. But, no way our scanner will scan ~50 pages without a problem, even if paper is new. Also, the automatic text recognition doesn't work very well. it will orient most pages correctly, but then scan one or two in rotated. Once the page is saved, it's rotation can't be fixed permenantly. For the price, I give this scanner about a C+ as it was quite expensive. It does scan quickly when settings are correct and pages don't jam. Bundled software (Capture Perfect 3.0) is decent.

I tried just plugging and playing with a 64 bit Windows 7 machine. The computer detected the scanner but it indicated "troubleshooting required - device driver not installed." I went to the Canon website to download the required driver, and they don't offer one for Windows 7 (x64). This is legacy equipment that can only be used on legacy computers. This device is useless to me and taking up valuable real estate. I wish I'd just ponied up for a new scanner and saved myself all this expense and hassle.

The Canon 4010C is being discontinued, I found it's replacement, the 6010C to be faster and less expensive, both are super fast, so when I found this roller kit, I was amazed at how easy it was to change out the rollers, this will allow me to continue using the 4010C. This was a great buy, save me a ton of money buying a replacement.

Scanner works almost just as it says. Speed is great as long as the settings are on correctly (so it knows to scan for speed not higher quality). You can put in paper face up or down it reads both. So far I have found that the max feed is about 40 not 50. But that's still pretty good. When it jams or has to many pieces of paper, it's a simple fix not a huge to do. That is really nice. It will simply pick up where it left off. Would highly recommend if you need high speed scanner for business or home use.

These are genuine Canon rollers for the DR-4010C document scanner. If you have this scanner you will need these at some point, usually after 250,000 pages or so.

I purchased this about four months ago, and am very satisfied. It works wellThe unit set up easily and without a hitch. The ability to call up several pre-designated (by me) programs from buttons on the scanner is very nice (eg "1" is set up as 300 dpi b/w single sided to PDF, "2" is the same but double-sided, etc.) Very convenient. I have not had a problem with jams, and have scanned a fair number of sheets so far (I'd guess 5,000). I've also run some photos through, and it has done a good job of converting them to a 600 dpi .tif file. The unit is much more compact than the previous Canon sheet-fed scanner I was using and works well on my desk.My only irritation is that if there is a jam (I have occasionally left staples in, etc.) it can't recover smoothly but just starts a new document. That has to be cleaned up later by opening the first document and then appending any others that have also been produced. Other scanners are more sophisticated in this, and I assume it it entirely a software issue that might eventually be resolved.I try to run a mostly paperless office, and this is the third sheet-fed scanner I have owned. It is the least expensive, and definitely the best. Highly recommended.

I purchased it from a military post exchange AAFES store in Germany in December 2000. Now it is December 2010. I thought I should review this legacy product on Amazon, even though I did not buy it from here. It has been 10 long years and this scanner is still function as it did when it was new. It survived my move from overseas back to US and several change of station moves. Operation is simple. A single USB cord takes care of the job powering the unit and transferring scanned data. As far as value for money is concerned, this is the best electronic product I have ever purchased. Not many electronic products can survive 10 years and remain useful.

I got this scanner last Tuesday and I must admit it works Great! The Unpacking and set-up took roughly 30 Min. (No Biggy) The scanning takes seconds... I have not tried scanning 50 Pages yet but I am sure it can get them done in 1 Minute as stated in the Guide.Size - Very compact and takes very little room.Excellent Scanner! Worth The Dollars!

I bought this scanner in December 2000, so almost 10 years ago!It is flat and USB powered, so means you can take it with your laptop on the go.It is fast enough and quality is good enough too.Once you know on OS/X you have to install VueScan, this is just great!10 years old and still running great: maybe my best value for money in my computer life! (I'm pretty sure I have no other ICT product left from 2000)

worked great for a few months, then never worked again. Wouldn't even power up. Wasn't worth it to try and return it since I bought it online. It literaly sat on a desk and was only used a few times and rarely even touched. Garbage hardware. Complete waste of money.

This scanner works fine with Windows XP but will not work with Windows 7 (64 bit). Even after downloading and installing the latest drivers and software from Cannon, it still wont work. Thank goodness I have a dual boot system with Windows XP (32 bit) as my second OS. Works fine there.

I have been toting around a shoebox of my dad's slides since he passed away. There are about 500 Kodachrome transparencies of family vacations, army photos, and all us kids at Easter and Christmas. Even without cleaning the slides, I am completely amazed at how good these are coming out! I was only able to see these in one of those little slide boxes you held up to the light--until today. I'm finding great early photos of my mom from the 40s wearing a fantastic print dress and big curls in her hair! So far I'm extremely pleased with how these are coming out!!!The scanner is VERY easy to set up. I have an iMac running Leopard. I followed the quick-start guide, popped in the cd, clicky click click, plug it in, did a quick test with a cartoon, and worked like a charm. I mainly purchased it for scanning this bunch of old slides. It comes with a little plastic tray (for lack of a better term) to put 4 slides in. This tray is conveniently hidden behind a white plastic sheet in the lid of the scanner. This tray feels kinda flimsy, so I'm being very careful with it--that is my only concern so far.With the $99 price, there is no great software for correcting the dust and fuzz. You can however, play a little bit with the image settings. For most of what I have scanned so far, I have only set the Backlight Correction setting to Low or Medium; and you can do this on a slide by slide basis or do them all on one setting. This has made some of the older dark photos look fantastic. I have also used the Rotate to turn the photo right way up or flip it over.I'm really impressed with the quality and ease-of-use so far. My intention was just to get these into a digital format before they turn to dust, not do magic with them just yet. Like the Technicolor Ektachrome slides are red-red, and I'd like to eventually fix the worthwhile ones of those, as well as do the repair and hair removal needed on a bunch. Overall first impression is this is a great value, and the quality is better than expected overall. If you need to do a LOT of correcting of your slides/film/photos, you may want to jump up a few levels to one with a more advanced Photo-shop-like software to do this all at once.Update 1/27/08--I was in such a hurry to get slides digitized when I started using this scanner... Just wanted to pass on what I learned so far. I'm pretty impressed with the software that does come with it. At first pass it didn't seem all that impressive and I thought I was lucky that the slides scanned looked as good as they did! After taking more time--and slowing down to see what some of the other options really did in the panel after you have 'previewed' a batch--omg it does wonders!!! The Ektachromes that are way red, well now they look much more normal. I have gone back and rescanned a bunch of slides from the beginning mad rush I was in, and I have to tell you that they look even more incredible than before. A pretty good scan of a slide of my Mom dated May 1946 is brighter, skin color more natural... I'm very pleased with how this product is working, can you tell?!Another crumb of advice, get a good quality photo brush to get the dust and crumbs off the slides--I'm surprised how much can get removed with the soft natural bristles. I also got a photographic emulsion cleaner and pads for some of the tough spots. Whatever is in that bottle has removed quite a few of those black spots that always show up on someone's forehead!And I see the price dropped on this... I paid $99 and thought it was a good deal! Is never too late for review an old item , I bought this scanner in at the beginning of 2001, and today's date is september 28 2009 and still work as new and compatible with windows xp , and I've abused it a bit because I have moved many times, and you know, things get hit a bit, anyway, in case you see this product on ebay or someone is offering you , believe me , is still going to work...

I am extremely pleased with this scanner. I have scanned over 300 photos since I bought it a few weeks ago, and it has worked flawlessly. It is fast and easy and does an excellent job bringing my b/w family photos from the 1920s through 1950s back to life. It also does a terrific job on my newer color photos. I was surprised by the quality for under $100. I am using Windows XP Pro and had no problems with the software installation.

I had high hopes for this scanner but after 1 1/2 months it is getting returned. It worked fine at first but then I began to get error messages when I'd try to scan something. I reinstalled all the software and made sure I used the cable that came with the device (I had been using a longer cable I had due to lack of space near my computer). That seemed to solve the problem but then last week I began getting error messages again. It's barely been used so back it goes.

I use it mostly for converting 35mm slides to jpgs. Sometimes, for some reason, the scanner treats the slides as negatives. You need to change the order of the slides in the holder to "fool" it back to the 35mm setting. Other than that, it's been great.

I bought mine used, took it overseas in 2004. It was used almost constantly for FOUR PROBLEM-FREE YEARS. It was in perfect condition when I reluctantly sold it.What's so good about the CanoScan N650U Scanner? It fits in my briefcase. It is quiet. It doesn't require a separate power source. It produces great quality. It comes with a flex hinge. It is cheap.What more could you need in a scanner??

This scanner is everything I need. I have so many negatives that have never been developed so with this it makes it easy for me to scan them and print out the photos. The only downside I found was that when scanning black and white developed negatives (like the kind you can develop yourself and not the color developed black and white negatives) the black and white is more of a brown and white. Other than that I love this scanner.

I ordered this product to replace my old Microtek that went belly up.After loading the software on my windows2000 machine, the 4400f performed flawlessly.I especially like the variety of one-touch buttons available to do anything from creating a PDF to direct printing.The price was also very attractive - about 1/2 the cost of the Microtek and with more features.
