I bought this charger for my Blackberry Curve, and I was pleased with the low price. The product consists of two parts: a small black "plug" (presumably a small converter) and a USB-to-micro-USB cable. The fact that the cable is detachable from the "plug" enables you to charge from a wall socket, or from your computer - convenient, right? Well, not if the "plug" part stops working - which mine did, two or three months after I bought it. The connection between the "plug" and the cable was a little loose, so sometimes you'd leave it to charge for a while and realize nothing was happening. But aside from that, eventually the "plug" lost its charging ability. I'd leave it plugged in for hours and it would only half-charge my Blackberry. I asked the seller to replace the item. However, since the 3-month warranty period had expired, they would only do so if I shipped the defective one back to Shenzhen, China - presumably at my expense. No thanks.

hey guys if u looking for good producat pls do not buy this this total waste of money first this is not oem orignal and its so cheap i wish i can upload my own photos i waste my monye pls u dont waste your money bcs and its not come with the tools evryhting come with but all is so cheap u can see the quality i m not gone reccomace this producat not at all

This is the second time a balck berry product I purchased via amazon turned out to be faulty, atleast the actual bb bold device was useful for the first 3-5 days before it started acting up. This on the otherhand didnt work at all..Couldnt charge no device that its says its compatible with. This vendor should be bannded from operating on Amazon. And no I didnt inform the seller because, talking to ilegall people who steal money from people is not my cup of tea. I would honestly and sincerely encourage nobody to waste their hard earned money on this seller. The products are not duarable or reliable. A very annoyed and disgusted customer...

I have always trusted Amazon with products. However, buying cell phones from this website was a mistake. I bought 2 of these blackberries to gift it to my aunt and uncle as a New Year Gift. The phones started giving us trouble shortly in a few months, and yesterday (which is about 6 months after purchase) my aunt told me that both the phones get disconnected in a few seconds of every call they receive. They finally had to leave the phones and switch to their old ones. Totally disappointed. Just cannot describe my frustration with this product. Sorry Amazon, you did not help me this time.

No Bottom Cover, No Chassis, No WiFi Antenna Flex Cable, No Buzzer, No Earpiece, No Handsfree port, No Trackpad, No Side button membrane set, No T6 screwdriver and Housing Tool were included.

The side buttons on my Curve starting coming off. It would have been too expensive to replace through Verizon.I ordered this repair kit and had someone who is good with computer hardware replace the housing for me. She had never taken apart a cell phone before, but the phone was easy to take apart.I only replaced the housing, screen plate, and key buttons. The pieces fit together perfectly and the included T6 screwdriver and housing tool made it easy to take apart. The housing kit worked great and my phone looks brand new.I highly recommend this item if you need to replace any exterior part of your BlackBerry Curve.

THIS PRODUCT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ORIGINAL. #01. IT WAS NOT ACCOMPANIED WITH THE NECESSARY T-4 & T-6 HEX SCREW DRIVERS. #02. THE BOTH SPEAKERS IN THE CHASSIS OF THE HOUSING ARE VERY LOW ON AUDIO PLAYBACK AND LISTENING VIA HANDSET DURING CALLS RESPECTIVELY. #03. THE CHROME BLACKBERRY LOGO INSET ON THE BATTERY COVER IS COVERED WITH A TRANSPARENT TAPE THAT WHEN REMOVED TAKES OUT THE CHROME DIGITS OF THE LOGO OUT WITH IT. #04. THE BATTERY CASE IS NOT PLUSH WITH THE CASE WHEN INSTALLED. #05. THE ENTIRE CASE WHEN MOUNTED DOES NOT LINE UP PLUSH ALL THE WAY AROUND AND ITS EDGES ARE NOT SMOOTHLY INTERLOCKED. #06. THE REWIND AND FAST FOWARD SWITCHES HAD TO BE REMOVED FROM THE OLD HOUSING TO BE INSTALLED INTO THE NEW CASE. #07. THE BOTH SPEAKERS FROM THE OLD CHASSIS HAD TO BE REPLACED INTO THE NEW CHASSIS TO TRY AND MAINTAIN QUALITY OR ORIGINAL AUDIO LEVELS. N.B. I hate buying something that does not function. I bought two of these OEM Blackberry chargers, one for the office and a spare one for home.Sadly, like many other reviewers here have mentioned the chargers are pieces of junk.1) They do not have enough power it seems to fully charge a Blackberry phone. At the best, it can allow the Blackberry to "hold' it's charge - but that is it.2) Unstable connectivity issues with plugged into PC USB. Never mind thinking about using these cable to sync your device on your computer. The connection will not stay and constantly be lost.3) Poor build quality.After two months of moderate usage - the cables have split from their ends exposing the wires. The wires themselves are on the verge of breaking off.The wall unit adapter seems to function 'ok' - I have connected an official BlackBerry cable to it and it full charges the phone.Essentially, if you are thinking about buying this to save money - don't bother.

I could not find a Blackberry battery in Singapore as it is always out-of-stock. When found it selling on Amazon, I immediately purchased it without hesitation. Few things to note for sure, it is in excellent working condition, excellent product, arrived on time, excellent service and selling at the most economical price. I am extremely happy with my purchase and begining to hate Amazon for making me an addict to this site. HELP !!!! I don't want my pocket to be seriously burnt !!! ;)))

This is awesome. I decided not to use every parts so I kept some for later if I need to change them. I have a curve 8530 and it fits nicely. The top part of my phone is pretty bad but this case still did its job. I'll probably buy a good silicone case to make sure it's secure. It came with everything as described. Actually, it came with an extra tiny screw driver. Now, I don't have to replace my phone until I get rid of Virgin Mobile. Yey!

I must say that i was truly disappointed when i received this package. Firstly, the title says 8520 but its a perfect fit for the 9700. This is the second time that this has happened to me, the first time i ordered through a friend. Secondly, the pictures are misleading. Please read the description/details before ordering because i thought i would have gotten the replacement tools as well. That much i admit was my error, but in the end i DID NOT get the proper housing for my 8520! Also, the screen was scratched as if it was a used product not the new look i thought i purchased!
