I recently built a new computer and wanted to use an AMD processor. My son recommend ASUS , so I called the support department to find out which board I should use and was able to talk with a tech right away that provided all of the information I needed. The mother board comes with a program CD that makes it easy to update the bios without any problems or affect on any of the installed programs. I downloaded the BIOS from the ASUS web site. I recommend the board and company that make it. I also got the board for a good price along with a rebate.

Mated this board with an Intel I7-3770, H50 Hydro cooler, 4x4 (16GB) of GSkill DDR3 1600 RAM, a 128GB Samsung 830 SATA 6gb SSD as boot, 1TB WD Caviar Black SATA 6gb for data & production, SATA 3gb DVD/CD read write and a Radon HD 6800 series GPU. Running both fast and cool. Fingers-crossed, no issues so far.NOTE: It is important that you update the Bios if using INTEL IVY processors! Asus has the download.

I went with this board for my son's first gaming PC build. Reading the MOBO manual is a must. The bios is very easy to work with. The built-in wifi has very good reception with the remote antenna. The most nerve racking part was installing the Intel processor.The 8 pin and 24 pin power plugs are fairly far from each other. Depending on your power supply, you may need some 8 pin or 24 pin extensions.Everything has been working quite well and the software provided with the MOBO seems to be working just fine. So far, so good.

I decided to upgrade my PC with a new motherboard, CPU and memory. After considerable research I selected the Asus P8Z77-V Pro, the Intel I5-3570K, the Thermaltake Water2.0 cooler, and 8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600 memory. I kept my old case and my 120 GB OCZ Vertex 3 solid state drive. Everything went together with no problems. I am very happy with the simple overclocking capabilities of this board. Everything works and I couldn't be happier.

This board has proven to be a great performer. The Wi-Fi setup could use some simplification, but all-in-all this setup represents more bang for the buck. I have not experienced any problems thus far. I'm running an Intel Core i7 3770 with 16 gigs of Corsair RAM. I do recommend this product for its quality construction, reliability, and excellent price for the mid-range.

Great Motherboard, I bought it above others SPECIFICALLY for the WI_FI GO feature.. Sadly the onboard WIFI that plugs in was /is defective.. The idiots at tech support want me to RMA whole board.. It is a little piece as big as a silver dollar that is defective.. They want me to disassemble my H2O cooled system and send the whole board and be computerless for WEEKS, for a little piece.. RIDICULAS, and the 5 hrs spent getting to that point RUINED IT all for me.. 4 stars is GENEROUS.. great board, VERY silly tech support, with little common sense and piss poor customer support..

I haven't fully switched over to this board yet, but I've been testing it with the Windows 8 customer preview. It works well with everything so far. The USB3 speed is very fast and the integrated nic is also pretty quick, sometimes I'm able to hit 60MBS on Gigabit LAN. No problems with installation on 8 or 7. Pretty solid product so far.

Bought this mobo a couple weeks ago and it has worked great. I chose the "v" version over the "pro" version and saved $30 (the pro version has 4 usb 3.0 ports, the v version has 2). The simple overclocking feature is well worth the price of this board. Enabling the TPU switch on the mobo overclocked my 3770k from 3.5 to 4.2. All with one flip of a switch on stock cooling. Nice! I highly recommend this mobo.
