So far so good...
First PC build in about 20 years. Had no problems with the motherboard. Documentation is pretty slim, but I got everything to work after finding the right plugs. Had a Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD card as the main memory instead of a larger SSD and had a hard time locating the slot for it, but found it under the heat shield. No WiFi or Bluetooth on the main board, so will have to add those separately. Otherwise it worked great.

My favorite b550m board
I love this motherboard. It has plenty of RGB ports, a reinforced GPU slot, and RGB on the board itself. Works great OLOY Warhawk RGB RAM and a Ryzen 7 3700X. The attached IO shield is thin but does the job well. Gamers Nexus did testing on this board it was one of the coldest running VRMs. Definitely worth buying for $130.

Got a Faulty Board
I ordered this and I believe I got a faulty motherboard. Everything worked fine until I tried to power on the computer. There was no audio whatsoever. After trying every trick in the book and checking to see if it was my cables by plugging my old motherboard back in and testing, I determined the motherboard I got was a bad one and shipped it back and got a refund.
I'm sure this motherboard is as good as others say it is (Hell I really liked the RGB.), but it's depressing that I didn't get to have the same customer experience the others did. I didn't want to have to deal with the shipping again, as my order got delayed by a week after I ordered. I'll be fine just sticking to the motherboard I have currently I suppose.

Great deal but DOA board
I’m all for refurbs and open box deals as 90% of the time they’re perfectly fine but this particular item was DOA. I’ve tried multiple ram stick abs unfortunately they all have the same error despite working in other systems. It’s a bummer as it would have been a great deal.

Great board with alot of support.
Upgraded from an Asus Prime B450M/A in prep for the new Ryzen CPUs. RGB suport is great, and you can disable the board LEDs when the device is powered off. Clean looks, plenty of RGB support, and future proofing make for a great product. If you are debating on this board, go ahead and just buy it.

First time building a PC everything went very well. Only thing that is strange is the lights dont turn off when the PC is turned off. So that is something to consider. I just flip my power supply switch off after I turn everything else off. So not too big a deal.

Such an upgrade from the b450 steel legend. I love the new features that comes with the 500 series. Gen 4 baby, tho gen 5 pcie in the works so yeah. But great board and works like a champ.
Also dont ever put off an item cause of people with shitty "review". Prob not even a tech head and should stick to buying pre builts.

It’s okay but
It’s a nice bored But won’t power down unless I hold the power button, you can turn off the LEDs when the power is off on the PC in the bios or else they will stay on which is weird. If you’re spending this type of money you might as well get the X570 it’s a much better board all around. I’ve built many of these computers and the X570 performance is much better.

I spent a while looking for a decent mATX board, I was finding that the cheaper options around £70-100 tend to cut corners in terms of lacking a decent number of fan headers (I know you can get fan splitters but I like flexibility), or were b450 or older. For not too much extra with the b550m steel legend, it's future proofed to PCIe gen 4, supports 3rd gen Ryzen and beyond, and has a great feature set, it also looks the part. Is there better options for more money? Probably, but for this price I don't think there's a better option

Muy buena placa
Me gustó mucho se ve de muy buena calidad y tiene RGB admite memoria ram de hasta 4600 mhz , tiene para 4 ventiladores y una para el disipador, también tiene para memoria nvme ,la placa es micro atx lo cual no especifica cuando yo la compré y me costo 3000 pesos más barata a como la venden los vendedores de Amazon México,me llegó muy pronto y muy bien empacada y protegida, trae su instructivo pero es demasiado confuso en especial en la parte donde se conecta el panel frontal ( y eso no lo pude hacer por mi mismo ) por lo que tuve que pagar 950 pesos para que me conectaran eso y otro problema que tuve con la placa es que no prendía con cpu ( ryzen 5 3600x ) por qué la tarjeta madre no estaba con su última BIOS y eso que se supone que está hecha para procesadores de tercera generación y otra cosa es que tampoco es compatible con procesadores de tercera generación que tengan Apu ,pero ya luego de todo eso no tengo ningún problema y las temperaturas van muy bien,pienso que sí es la primera vez que van a ensamblar una PC también van a tener problemas ya que he visto muy malas reseñas sobre está tarjeta ,pero la verdad creo que valió la pena haber comprado está ya que dicen que va a servir para procesadores de cuarta generación y además tiene para hacer OC y slide ( creo que así se dice ) y también sirve para CrossFire.

Escribo esta reseña en cuanto me han entregado el paquete. La caja de Asrock viene tal cual y sin un envoltorio de plástico al vacío o precinto de seguridad, simplemente abres el estuche y todos los componentes están sueltos dentro. He comprobado que todos ellos están presentes y la placa en sí se encuentra protegida con espuma y fijada con presillas, pero la primera impresión ha sido terrible. Me he hecho de Amazon Prime expresamente para este pedido. Actualizaré la reseña cuando monte el PC y compruebe que funciona perfectamente.

まだ組んでいないが、箱が開封されている
Amazonでマザーボードを購入するのは2回目。今回も箱の封印シールもされておらず、またマザーボード本体をおおっているビニールにも封印がされていない。これが新品？と疑ってしまう。返品された物を再販しているのではないか心配になる。
追伸：Twitterでつぶやいたとこ、AsrockさんとAmazonさんから返信があり、新品である事がわかりました。BIOSの更新の為に開封されているみたいです。製造番号のシールに黄色い丸シールが貼られている物は新品だそうです。

Das ASRock B550m Steel Legend ist toll designt und macht was mit seinem Onboard RGB was her, ob es dem Aufpreis wert ist, muss jeder für sich entscheiden, wem es zu teuer is, kann getrost auch zum ASRock B550m Pro4 greifen.

¿ Pero que le pasa a Asrock con las memorias RAM ?. Dan problemas hasta las que dice la página que son compatibles. Poco han aprendido de Asus. Así es imposible recomendar esta marca de placas base.

性能には文句無し、安定して動いています。
一つ気になるのは、AsrockのLEDアプリケーションです。自分の環境のみかもしれませんが、メモリと他のLED機器との同期に不具合があります。メモリを同期すると、LEDスロットの片方が異常な点滅を始めます。また、メモリのカラーリング設定が毎回初期化されていることもあり、少し使いづらさを覚えます。
それ以外は問題ありません。

電源を落としてもLEDが消えないのはBIOSから設定できます。
Z170のマザーが壊れて急遽こちらと5600Xで組みなおしましたが、ド安定で満足です。

X570を超える電源回路に大幅強化されたミドルレンジ
Core i7 4790K で組んで6年経ち、そろそろ新しいマシンを組みたくなり調べたところ、Intelの衰退とAMDの躍進が際立ち、ゲームはせず動画編集やエンコード主体の作業なので初めてAMDのCPUで組むことにしました。
当初X570で組もうと思いましたが今の所必要性のないPCI-Express4.0対応のチップセットのお陰で発熱が多くチップセットファンが付いていたので躊躇していたところCPUのみでPCI-Express4.0に対応したB550が出ることを知りこれで組むことにしました。
構成はRyzen 9 3900XT、Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black、CFD Panram W4U3200PS-16G×2、WD Blue SN550 PC M.2-2280 NVMe WDS500G2B0C-EC、SUPERFLOWER LEADEXIII GOLD 750W、グラボは新調せずクロシコのGF-GTX1050Ti-4GB/OC/SFで不具合なく安定動作しています。
ミドルレンジとしては高価ですが電源回路がX570 Steel Legendを超える14フェーズでX570 Taichiと同等、VRMチップなどもB450より高品質なものが装備されています。
メモリークロックもネイティブで3200Mhz、オーバークロックで4,733MHzまで対応で基本性能はハイエンド並みと言って良く将来のZen3を見据えての内容でしょうか。
これなら3900Xはもとより3950Xでも余裕で運用でき軽いオーバークロックまで視野に入る内容でしょう。
定評があり高耐久を謳うSteel Legendらしくパーツも耐久性の高いものが使われており安心感がありますね。
迷彩デザインも格好良くアルミのヒートシンクも高級感があります。

トラブルが多い
注文時に置き配ではなく手渡しだと云う認識で注文しましたが、
11時頃にメールを見ると配達完了となっていました、あれ？と思い玄関に置いたとあるので
急いで玄関前を確認しましたが、ありませんでした。
実は以前にも同じ事があり、アカウント設定で置き配をしない様に設定を手渡しにしていましたが
この設定で全ての注文が手渡しになるのではなく、注文ごとに設定をしないといけない。
新型コロナが流行して置き配が勝手にされる様になった時に1度商品が盗難合いました。
直ぐに使いたかったのに、置き配のおかげで長引いてしまいました。
その間のAmazonでの注文は数十件ありますが、殆ど手渡しで受け取りをしていました。
しかし今回は不覚でした、この商品ともう１つ注文したものがあり
もう1つの方は手渡しにしていましたが、こちらの商品に関しては記憶では手渡しだったはずなのですが・・・
Amazonさんへ、デフォルト設定を手渡しに戻してください。
マンションは４階で最上階に住んでます、4階には6室あり学生さんが多いです。
学生さんであっても、少し悪さをする様な連中です、バイクも改造していたり
そんな環境下で置き配にしたらどうなるか察しがつきます。
簡易的なポストやロッカーでもあれば良いのですが、古いマンションなのでそんな物を置くスペースもありません。
こんな事が続いてしまうと、逆に購入者が怪しまれたりします。
注文しづらくなります。
デフォルトで手渡しが難しいのであれば、注文画面に２つボタンを設けて【手渡し】【置き配】と選択制にしてください。
これを選択しないと確定しない様にすれば間違いは多少なりとも起らないと思います。

Postet nicht mit unterstützter CPU
Mir wurde das Board mit dem ÄLTESTEN BIOS geschickt, dass man irgendwie finden konnte... Kein Quatsch. Auf dem BIOS Chip steht "P1.00".
Kein post... Zu altes BIOS...
Buildtag ruiniert. Toll, was man für 180€ kriegt. Die dem Kühler beigelegte Portion Thermal Paste ist damit auch Geschichte. Danke, Asrock.
Wenn ein Board schon kein BIOS Flashback hat,sollte es zumindest mit dem aktuellen BIOS ausgeliefert werden.
Zumindest mit agesa 1.0.8.0, damit auch alle offiziell unterstützten CPUs funktionieren!
Das Ganze ist besonders schade, weil dieses Board eines der besten dieser Preisklasse ist, solange es posted.

Ok für "Auto" User.
Auf der Suche nach einen aktuellen Board mit PCIe 4.0 habe ich mich nach ca 10 Jahren mal wieder für ein Board von Asrock entschieden. Zuvor hatte ich immer Asus Boards.
Entscheidend war der B550 mit PCIe 4.0. Ein Anschluss für Front USB Type C, positive Testberichte in der PCGH und bei Hardwareluxx, die relativ gute Spannungsversorgung und zuletzt auch das helle Design.
Beim ersten Board war einer der Gewindebolzen des oberen M2-Kühlers in einer falschen Ausführung verbaut. Dadurch wurde er beim Verschrauben des Kühlers aus dem Board gezogen. Sehr ärgerlich. Ersatz kam innerhalb von 2 Tagen.
Praxiserfahrung: im Großen und Ganzen funktioniert alles wie erhofft. Das BIOS konnte leicht geupdatet werden. Es ist nicht überfrachtet mit nutzlosen Einstellungen und lässt sich schnell konfigurieren.
Allerdings funktioniert die Loadline Calibration nicht richtig. Der VDroop beträgt bei einer VCore von 1,25V bis zu 0,06V. Bei meinen vorigen Board war es 0,006V. Dadurch sind meine Einstellungen nicht mehr stabil und ich muss mehr VCore anlegen, was wiederrum den Stromverbrauch bis zu 10W erhöht und die Temperaturen bis zu 8°C ansteigen lässt. Ist wohl leider typisch für Asrock.
2 kleine Mängel gibt es noch bezüglich der Beleuchtung. Sie schaltet sich bei ausgeschalteten PC nicht ab. Und die untere Beleuchtung am PCH-Kühler lässt sich zwar auf weiß stellen. Sie leichtet dann aber eher rosa.
Ich werde das Board jetzt behalten. Beim nächsten Board aber wohl eher wieder zu Asus greifen.
Edit: Das Board ging zurück und die Bewertung senke ich auf 2 Sterne.
Mit dem Board hat meine CPU nicht nur mehr Strom verbraucht und wurde wärmer, sie hat auch 100Mhz weniger Maximaltakt.
Für alle, die alles auf Auto lassen, funktioniert dieses Board sicher gut. Solange man sich nicht für Stromverbrauch und die Temperatur kümmert. Aber diese Zielgruppe kauft sich sicher auch eher andere, günstigere Boards. Asrock bewirbt dieses Board für ambitionierte Nutzer. Und für diese Zielgruppe ist es meiner Erfahrung nach nicht geeignet.
Beim Demontieren des CPU-Kühlers ist auch noch die CPU am Kühler kleben geblieben und wurde aus dem Sockel gezogen. Das hatte ich auch noch nie.

Praxiserfahrung: im Großen und Ganzen funktioniert alles wie erhofft. Das BIOS konnte leicht geupdatet werden. Es ist nicht überfrachtet mit nutzlosen Einstellungen und lässt sich schnell konfigurieren.
Allerdings funktioniert die Loadline Calibration nicht richtig. Der VDroop beträgt bei einer VCore von 1,25V bis zu 0,06V. Bei meinen vorigen Board war es 0,006V. Dadurch sind meine Einstellungen nicht mehr stabil und ich muss mehr VCore anlegen, was wiederrum den Stromverbrauch bis zu 10W erhöht und die Temperaturen bis zu 8°C ansteigen lässt. Ist wohl leider typisch für Asrock.
2 kleine Mängel gibt es noch bezüglich der Beleuchtung. Sie schaltet sich bei ausgeschalteten PC nicht ab. Und die untere Beleuchtung am PCH-Kühler lässt sich zwar auf weiß stellen. Sie leichtet dann aber eher rosa.
Ich werde das Board jetzt behalten. Beim nächsten Board aber wohl eher wieder zu Asus greifen.
Edit: Das Board ging zurück und die Bewertung senke ich auf 2 Sterne.
Mit dem Board hat meine CPU nicht nur mehr Strom verbraucht und wurde wärmer, sie hat auch 100Mhz weniger Maximaltakt.
Für alle, die alles auf Auto lassen, funktioniert dieses Board sicher gut. Solange man sich nicht für Stromverbrauch und die Temperatur kümmert. Aber diese Zielgruppe kauft sich sicher auch eher andere, günstigere Boards. Asrock bewirbt dieses Board für ambitionierte Nutzer. Und für diese Zielgruppe ist es meiner Erfahrung nach nicht geeignet.
Beim Demontieren des CPU-Kühlers ist auch noch die CPU am Kühler kleben geblieben und wurde aus dem Sockel gezogen. Das hatte ich auch noch nie.

Kann mich nicht beschweren einfach ein Top Mainboard habe es mit einem:
Ryzen 3600x
2x 16GB DDR4
GTX1070
Kraken 62x AIO
1x M2 EVO SSD
1x EVO 1TB SSD
Ausgestattet und es Läuft alles SMOOTH as HELL.
Für Kommende Ryzen bin ich auch ausgestattet und PCiE4 ist auch schon dabei also mega gut.

bootloop con G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC
Scheda madre testata con AMD 3600 e AMD5800x.
Non c'è stato verso di far partire il pc.
Andava in continuo bootloop sia con un banco che con 2.
Ho preferito restituire la MOBO per lo scarso elenco di compatibilità di ASROCK, per di più non viene aggiornato sul loro sito da almeno 2 anni.
Non ho potuto provare a fare un aggiornamento del BIOS in quanto non è presente la porta per l'aggiornamento facilitato.
RAM testate: G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC, che invece sono date come compatibili sul sito ASUS. Vedremo con la B550-E del competitor.
Bella esteticamente ma non sufficiente.

Top Mainboard aber.....
Super Board. Aber was ganz wichtig ist sich vorher schon mal ein Biosupdate auf einen USB Stick Runter zu laden und gleich nach dem ersten Booten installieren. Habe einen 5800x mit 32 GB 3600 RAM eingebaut. Und es läuft alles Top. Kann es nur Weiterempfehlen.

Awesome board simple layout tons of USB ports needed a bios update but other than that great board. Matched with the ryzen 9 5950x with a aio it’s a rocket.

（多分）高い耐久性を備えたノーマルマザーボード
自宅作業部屋のPCと身内のメインPCに購入。両方Ryzen5 3500を載せて使っています。
作業部屋の方は3900Xに載せ替え予定ですが、Ryzen 5000シリーズが全く入手出来ないのでしばらく3500のまま使用するかと思います。
普段使いで耐久性が欲しい、そんな感じで選びました。ASRock営業のH氏が耐久性重視と仰っていたので、多分高い耐久性がある、と思いますw
まあ、マザーボードがピン折れ以外で死んだのはこの10年で2007年製intel G33マザーだけなんで、そう簡単に死にはしないと思いますが。
メイン機で使っているX570 Taichiと比べると、Gen4 SSDを使用する場合はグラボ直下のM.2_1に刺すしか選択肢が無いので、PCIe変換カードを使いたいと考えてる方は注意です。
Gen4 SSDを複数使用したい場合はX570のマザーボードを買いましょう。
また、wifiモジュールは組み込まれていませんが、wifiモジュール用にM.2 Key Eが用意されているので、必要な方はwifiカードとアンテナが別途必要となります。アンテナ用の穴がI/Oバックパネルに用意されています。
それ以外はX570と比べても遜色無く、価格、性能のバランスの取れたAM4世代最後の鉄板マザーボードだと思います。

数日前に5800Xが入手出来たので、3900Xを使用していたメイン機から玉突きでこちらの板に3900Xを搭載、併せてOC Memoryのnative 3200MHz 32GBモジュール 2枚とM.2_1にSN850 1TBを刺して一応完成としました。
M.2_1のスロットはグラボの真下なので発熱が心配でしたが、ストレージベンチマーク中でもSN850を50℃以下に保ってくれるので、十分な冷却能力があると思います。
3900Xでも問題なく稼働してくれており。結構長い付き合いになると思うので耐久性に期待します。

ubuntuを考えている方は注意！
ubuntuの場合、ネットのドライバーが対応していないため有線LANが機能しない。

安定して使えています。
電源が14フェーズということで、オーバークロックしても余裕がありそうです。メモリも4,733MHzまで対応していて安心です。現在は3200MHzのを使っています。PCI-Express4.0対応にも対応していますが、現在これに対応しているボードがあまりないので、宝の持ち腐れですね。また、B450 Steel Legend」が1万1千円なのに対し、B550は2万2～3千円ですので、ちょっと高いかなあとい感じです。

Does ASRock not like linux users? It doesn't come with support for LAN connection by default so you have to dig and find a Intel LAN driver on your own. You don't have any internet connection so you would have to manually download and install the driver on a different computer or connect to wifi or LAN though a dongle. It's just too much hassle to get linux working on the mobo...
Windows use is fine. The drivers are inside the included CD.
Also, sometimes (a lot of times), the RGB effect is reset when you restart the PC. I don't know why, but I have to go into BIOS everytime to fix this.

ここでは買わない方が良いかも‥‥
商品自体の良し悪しではなく、梱包が最悪です。
今回二度目の購入になりますが案の定初期不良？？を起こしています。
CPUと同梱されて送られてきていましたが、緩衝材が一切なく箱の中で踊っていました。
精密部品なので目が点になってしましたが「またか・・・・」とあきらめて二度目なのもあり開封後設定に進んだのですが…ダメでした。
以前ショップの定員さんにこの手の商品はお店で直接買わないとだめですよと忠告されてましたがその通りのようです。
後悔しないように皆さんの判断にお任せします。

Ok, so if you buy this motherboard and notice the little digital panel on it with code 10, it means your ram isn't seated properly. No, I don't care if you know you seated it properly. I promise, you did not. These are literally the cheapest ram slots I've EVER worked with in my life. They don't click when you properly seat both ends. One end clicks, the other one just kinda... Doesn't make any noise... I had to re-seat my ram a good 5-6 times before it worked, and the whole time I was freaking out that I may have gotten a dead motherboard.
So because of that it loses 1 star. Everything else about it is wonderful. My 2070 super fits without getting in the way of anything, wraith prism cooler fits, fast as hell ethernet port... Great board aside from those god awful ram slots.

You can see in my video that I have rgb running, however in my case there is an RGB on top, now . READ THIS IF YOU HAVE AN 4 PIN RGB. BEWARE THE MANUAL TELLS YOU THE WRONG CONFIGURATION.
According to the manual its 12V-G-R-B , and I followed it, now my RGB strip is damaged, in reality the pinout was B-R-G-12V... Now I have a non working RGB, so ignore the manual for that part. and read what it says on the motherboard pcb.
My other issue is that I wanted to install a wifi card, however I am unable to remove the IO cover to install the antennas. even though you can unscrew it on the bottom I was not able to remove the IO, just open it a bit. also if you plan to install in the board a wifi card make sure that internal antenna wires you have are longer than 6 inches, 6 inches is not enough to clear out the first PCI slot.

Gosh I love this already.
My husband got it for me to do a upgrade on my pc. I loooooove the white and rgb. Just looks awesome with the rest of my rgb setup.
As for specs. If your here you most likely already know what your looking for in a motherboard. Annnnd I’m not the one who knows all the amazing specs with this. The husband is the one who did all that homework.
I am enjoying the spoils of his hard work.
And can confirm it’s a solid upgrade from my old system. 🥰
