I owned a Amazon Fire Phone up until this iPhone. After my Fire phone quit working, Amazon refunded me my full amount since it was still warrantied and they no longer make their phone. So I decided to go ahead and purchase an iPhone instead on Amazon since they have such great customer service. I can't say enough about my phone. The picture and video quality is great, it takes a lot more clearer videos and pictures than I thought it would take. I was a little worried about only have 8GB of storage on my phone because I like to download tons of different apps and games, but so far so good. I haven't had any storage problems and haven't had to delete any programs. It was able to upgrade to the new iOS which is awesome. I am really happy with this iPhone it's my first iPhone since the iPhone3 (sad, right?). I am so glad that I went with iPhone instead of Android. They are way better phones!

I bought this iPhone for my wife to replace her LG 840 that just wasn't all she needed. With a grandchild on the way, she needs a good camera and reliable connections. Initially, iPhone battery need charging, so plugged in the charger that came with phone. After some hours, the % of charge had dropped! So, tried charger on my iPad, which showed it was not producing anything. A dead charger on a $300 phone? So I have to supply my own? Are you kidding?
Seller has not made any attempt to contact me to replace the charger. Why did not I just return the phone (& charger)? The phone worked and it was too close to Christmas to take a chance on not having it under the tree. Amazon does not seem to have a way for partial returns.

Complete scam. The only upside was that the phone came very quickly. Other than that, it's charger does not even charge the phone at all. The phone is COMPLETELY useless considering you can not hear anyone on a call or even having them on speakerphone...I don't even mean it's just muffled, I mean their voices are BARELY audible and are morphed and almost sound demonic through our end of the phone. I bought this for my little brother so he can hangout with his friends but still check in with me wherever he goes, but this is completely useless now. Waste of time and money. Do NOT order from this person. Please read the reviews and you'll see how off ALL his/her products are!

Appears as good as new. No blemishes at all. I'm surprised how nice it is. Seems to function perfectly and battery life is good so far. It came with a sticker on it that said Verizon, even though the product description explicitly said GSM (ATT and T-Mobile). Fortunately it worked with T-Mobile SIM with no problem. Apparently the label was either wrong or misleading. The price has gone up $30 since I bought it. If I could have known for sure that it would be as nice as it really is, I would have spent those extra $30, but since buying "refurbished" is something of a crapshoot, I probably would not have considered it at this new price, sight unseen. [Tricky grammar in that last sentence.]

I like the phone, but should have bought on Amazon ($300) instead of at the Apple store for $500.
Only two complaints:
1) The call volume is very low. I have to use the speaker setting to hear callers.
2) For $500, I only got 8gb of memory. Apple charges more for phones that have more memory (16gb and 32gb) instead of allowing customers the functionality to add a memory chip. This works great for Apple, but is a disadvantage for the customers.
Overall, it's a good product, but I think I could have gotten a lot more for my money by buying a good Android phone. This is my first, and probably last Apple phone due to the pricing. I probably won't be buying any other Apple products (ipad, laptop, etc.) for this reason. I think the prices are too high for what you can get in the market for comparable products.

Performance: From what I have read, the 5c is essentially the same as the iphone 5 except for the following: slightly wider and heavier with a plastic instead of metal body, slightly better front facing camera, and slightly improved battery life.Also there is no Siri. iOS7 looks nice and is a much needed update to the iOS world. As an otherwise all android person I definitely notice this phone is smoother and faster than my Android phone although the hardware is really not any better and not top of the line (the iphone 5s blows it away and this hardware is basically from the 2012 iphone 5). That makes me appreciate the OS and apps and the overall refinement of the software on iphones.
Design: The plastic though is slippery and even though Apple Nation likes to call it high quality polycarbonate even though it is just "cheap plastic" on Samsung phones, don't be fooled because this is just cheap plastic as well. Also, the colors are a bit lame for guys. I had to default to white since the rest are a bit feminine. I also find lame that Apple liked the buzz phrase of integrating hardware and software with this phone. This seems to just be a fancy way of saying if you buy a white phone white wallpaper and if you buy a blue phone you are stuck with a blue wallpaper. iOS 7 also integrates the new colors of the phones but I don't find anything innovative about that. The iphone still has a screen that easliy cracks. I dropped my phone from about 4 feet in a $50 retail protective case and it still cracked the screen around the edges - I have never cracked another phone's screen in my life and this cracked within 1 month and in a high end screen.
Software: As mentioned above, Apple has the best software that provides a smooth and fast experience and apps look better on this than they did no Android even with more powerful phones. I am already noticing though you have to sacrifice customization since Apple does not let you change nearly as much and clearly likes there products to be used their way. For now it is a nice change of pace, but it could get old if.
Value: Terrible value, I only bought this because of a great sale and wanted to try Apple. This phone was made to kill off the iphone 5 to allow Apple to sell a phone with better margins and easier manufacturing via a plastic case and yet they kept the price high for a "new" product that basically came out in 2012. There is no siri, and it is the largest and heaviest of the iphone 5 series.
Pros: overall decent phone, iOS 7 is nice and software is smooth, camera is good, has a lot of good accessories since it is a big name phone
Cons: very overpriced for what you get, plastic body is cheap and slippery, no siri, great resolution but 4 inches is beginning to look small on phones, larger and heavier than the other 5 models, iphone is still very prone to cracking/shattering screen, nothing really new: this product was created to improve Apple's business strategy and not out of innovation, anyone who buys this is overpaying so Apple can keep margins healthy for investors. This product is proof of investors' recent concern of Apple's future.

After using this phone for approximately 2 months, the screen started being distorted and wouldn't work properly. Once we were able to get to an Apple Store for repair, they informed us that the issue was the screen and that a new screen would need to be installed. It was once Apple started to replace the screen that it was found to be a phone that was NOT original as sold to us. It had a third party screen that they were not able to replace. We were frauded by this company as they did not sell us an original phone and we are out over $300 on a defective phone!

I couldn't be more satisfied! Purchased this as a gift for someone, and they're really happy with it! The condition of the product cosmetically is amazing. As soon as I opened the box and looked at it, it feels like a brand new iPhone. And so far it's had no problems functionally either. Fantastic! As everyone knows iPhones are expensive, but this is a great deal, even if it is a couple years older now.
If you need to update to a newer iPhone, but don't want to pay the high price of a brand new iPhone give a refurbished one a try. Great buy!

Purchased this as a gift. I was pleased to find it came even faster than expected. The phone is beautiful physically and looks just like an iPhone 5c is supposed to. It came as an unlocked phone just as advertised. Unfortunately, I'm positive this phone is not brand new like it is supposed to be.
I have purchased an iPhone 5c previously directly from Apple and the device I purchased from this seller does not come in all the original packaging. It does come with an original lightning charger from Apple and the pair of headphones. However, the screen cover that came on the phone is different than what should come on a brand new iPhone.
Besides the aesthetic issue, the phone I received also has an issue holding a charge. We have charged the phone for approximately 2 hours without using it at all and the phone has not charged beyond 5% yet. It does charge but it is going at an incredibly slow pace.
I truly want to be happier about this phone but I am very disappointed by the misleading advertisement. Should have expected. It is still a great phone for the price and seems like it is perfect besides the charging issue and clear repacking, but it would have been better if it was advertised as a used/refurbished/damaged/etc. phone as it is.

I decided to try charging the phone with my own iPhone's charger instead of the one that came in the box. With the charger than came in the box it took 2 hours for the phone to charge to 5% and at some points the battery would actually drain while plugged in. However, when I used my own charger, the phone charged rapidly and managed to obtains a full charge in just a few hours. It is clear when comparing the two based on ability and appearance that the wire for the charger that comes with this phone is not the original iPhone charger. this phone is acting up on far too much for me to humor the idea that it is simply the software. I've blown off problems as small tweaks that will be fixed. The phone out of the box was clean. Dare I say it, perfect. Everything worked flawlessly- needless to say, I was a satisfied customer. Had I done a rating then it would've been a 5 star rating titled, "Perfect phone for perfect price!" Only days later I started to notice its sporadic tendency to play sound through the speaker. Headphone jack worked fine. Again, I blew it off as minor problems. I've now had the phone for 2 weeks and 2 days. Today I found the phone no longer is capable of playing music through speaker or jack, acting possessed as skips through songs if they're in a list at all. It continues to act strangely even on the multitask window, and I must close it. Only minutes ago I found that video recording does't work and have connected the dots: video recording stopped working. In fact, I just tested the outcome of clicking on a video I had and it said "Operation could not be performed." I'm going to try to reset (although I'll resent the effort needed for it) and hopefully that fixes. Maybe it'll change my opinion. On the other hand, everything else works fine, although messages acts up every once in awhile for a couple minutes. Also, a receipt was not included in my box. So if you have other options, I would strongly encourage those. The extra 50$ spent may mean 2 years of hassle free cooperation from what should be a great product. I'll change (or post another) review if thinks begin to develop for the better. If not I will contact Amazon for help.

I am reviewing the green iPhone c, which I currently just got a couple weeks ago. I got mine from Verizon for $150.00 with a two year contract. This phone doesn’t compare to any other phone I have ever had, I’m going to talk about how this phone compares to no other phone I have ever had and why it is so different. I’m going to explain that you can have the next new item with apple and not have to spend one whole check on the phone.
My friend has the new iPhone 5s which is said to be better that the 5c, but there really isn’t a difference besides the touch to open. That is pretty cool but the 5c doesn’t everything exactly the same at one fourth the price. This is a great product for if you want to have the new hot item for not a lot of money, which who has $600 to throw around for the next big thing with apple. I really like how it is light weight and has a really clear screen, I feel like I am getting everything my phone can offer with having a screen that is big. As soon as I found out they had an iPhone is green I had to have one, it is my favorite color and it is so adorable. Green is my favorite color and it is not an ugly green like you are thinking.
The down part about this phone is it is cheap, yes it is made out of plastic but you are going to put a case on it anyways why pay so much for a phone that you will just cover up any ways. If it is so cheap why do people keep buy it and it isn’t cheap just the back of the phone is cheap with its plastic back that is in all those pastel colors. I hate how they made one case that shows they back but it isn’t a really sturdy case so if you wanted a heavy duty case you would have to cover they color of your phone which is the main reason you wanted the colored iPhone. It is still soon they could still make more cases; that will show the back of the phone with its pretty colors.
I have always had an android but my last one was the last straw, because everyone I know who has an android always has a problem eventually. Everyone I know that has a iPhone even if it’s an old iPhone they still work and have little to no problems. It all depends on how you take care of your phone. I hate when people say android is better oh but my phone can do this and this and this, but all phones do something different so you android lovers get over yourselves and realize that everyone phone is its own phone they can all do something cool and different. The battery life on the iPhone 5c is amazing I can be on my apps all day and still have battery life, my last phone I would open an app and my phone would go down to 50%. Apple isn’t perfect but they do have some really cool items and this happens to be one of them.
This is the perfect phone for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money and wants to have the next new item with apple that is my advice to you. It is a great phone with the speed of the processor, the size of the screen, and most of all the battery life on the phone. This is such an awful phone.
I had a 4S for two years prior to this. I didn't have wifi where I was living -only 3G- and this phone was my only source of internet the entirety of that time. It suffered from the typical "on it's last legs for the last few months," but I had almost zero problems previous to that.
It happened to be that I was moving right around the time I started a new contract, so I got a brand new iPhone 5C and even had internet/wifi installed at my new place.
I started having problems within a month. The same problems I had with my 4S after two solid years of use. I also bought a laptop around the same time, so the 4C wasn't getting nearly the use my 4S did.
The browsers on this phone will stop working unless you reset it, even with full wifi signal. Sometimes, pictures will take around fifteen minutes of loading time, during which you're stuck in purgatory, just to tell you that the picture failed to send. Again, under full strength wifi. Calls to certain phones are either inaudible or have a heavy echo. The memory comes nearly full straight from the factory, which makes sense as the phone is loaded down with Apple apps that you don't use but can't delete. There's an omnipresent "this accessory will not work with this device" message whenever I charge it.
I have wifi now, I'm constantly updating it. I barely updated my 4S.
I don't mean to be so whiny. When I had the previous incarnation of a product with almost no issues for several years, the logical choice was to stick with the brand. In this instance, I was disappointed.

Just got my IPhone 5C. Got it in 4 days. No problem. Everything worked out great. Would have been nice if the price was cheaper. But My recommendation is to spend that extra money and get a new one, I don't trust the old ones.
The only con with this purchase was the headphones are crap and knock off. Didn't even work properly. The phone charger/adapter also is not apple. But I already have plenty of those so it didn't matter. That is the only reason why I didn't given 5/5 stars. Overall very satisfied

Wow I am very impressed with this phone. I purchased this phone for my son for Christmas and it was very very nice and new. Although it is refurbished it is just as good as a brand new one and looks even better with the cute back cover on the backs of the phone. I was hesitant in buying this due to the fact that it wasn't coming directly from the company but as I read on it really is it is just refurbished. The phone is excellent and I do give this 5 stars I will definitely order from them again!

Extremely disappointed that this was received the first part of September and the screen is literally falling out of the phone. I've never seen anything like it before. My son saved his hard earned money to buy this product and not even 3 months later it is junk. Hope to find someone that can help us to get it fixed. :(
Just took the phone to get fixed today and found out the phone is total junk! The battery is swollen and ready to explode. The parts inside were broke and some screws were missing. I watched the man open the phone and was in total shock! I can't believe we were scammed so badly. This was NOT a new phone!

I do not normally write reviews, but I had to this time to warn others. I received this today and immediately tried it out as it is a Christmas present for my daughter. This phone has a Verizon sticker on the back which is normal a CDSM carrier not a GSM. The phone is also NOT Unlocked!!! It would not work with a sim previously being used in a different iPhone 5c that was unlocked. I am very upset as I cannot get another one in time for Christmas. I just want to say thank you for ruining my daughter's Christmas!!!!

Yes this is an unlocked GSM phone.
It actually had a T-mobile SIM in it which I popped out and replaced with my AT&T SIM card from my iPhone 5. No problems there.
The bad:
8GB is straight up not enough memory for an iPhone these days. Photos take up a lot of space as do text messages and emails (you won't really be able to use it as an iPod). By the time the iOS is installed you're down to 5-6GB then things start getting cramped. Seriously, if you have an iPhone go to Settings-General-Usage-Manage Storage and see how large these apps are. Pandora alone is like 150kb. So after deleting a bunch of unused stuff I have 800kb left. That's really not even enough to update the iOS when they release a new one, so I will have to hook this thing to my laptop when that day comes (yes I'm writing this review in it, so it obviously works).
In short: but it if you can live with the limitations. If you buy the right case no one will ever even know that it's the cheapest phone Apple makes, but I guarantee you that in very short order you will say to yourself "I should have got the 16BG one".

That's really not even enough to update the iOS when they release a new one, so I will have to hook this thing to my laptop when that day comes (yes I'm writing this review in it, so it obviously works).
In short: but it if you can live with the limitations. If you buy the right case no one will ever even know that it's the cheapest phone Apple makes, but I guarantee you that in very short order you will say to yourself "I should have got the 16BG one".

There were no scratches present on the screen. The back of the phone showed signs of heavy usage. However, once u put a case on, u will eventually forget about the back side xD. I really didn't mind the minor scratches on the back, just as long as the screen did not have any scratches. The phone works well. I was able to program it with the listed carriers. I am using this phone at the moment to write this review xD.

The iphone came in good condition and it works very well, I'm really happy with my purchase, I gave it 4 stars because it didn't came with an apple charger and apple headphones, the only thing that came in the box was the iphone. For me it's really not that important that the charger didn't come so yeah. Over all the iphone came in perfect condition and it works perfectly. Highly recommend

I bought this product last year. During the first 3 months, it restarted about 4 times, and since i live in Venezuela, i said "well maybe i will take it to a mac store on my next trip to the US. It wasn't that big of a deal. On December 3rd the screen started flashing and i had to leave it charging all night so it could turn on. On December 15 the restarts started to get close together in timing, and it began heat up. On January 1st (happy new year to "J&R Mobile World" who sold me this crap :).....) the phone died and it started restarting indefinetly. I took it to the store, and they right in front of me connected it to an imac there, to try and restore it on itunes. It gave an error on the software, so they told me that they had to corroborate that infact it was factory issue, 30 minutes later, the girl from apple returned with it, asking me where i had bought it, and if i had ever opened it or tampered with the hardware. They explained that it was not the first phone in this state, and that some of its internal parts where "pirated" meaning that IT WAS REFURBISHED, and THEY DID NOT USE ORIGINAL PARTS FROM APPLE. She told me "we could actually fix it, of course, but as any refurbished and refixed product, it might die again anytime. So OBVIOUSLYS, AS A RESPONSIBLE SELLER , she told recommended not to, she didn't even recommend me to buy a new phone, so any out there might think is a strategy.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, you may save money, but in the long run, you will live the same issues, and apple will not be as much help as if it was their mistake. Specially coming from "J&R Mobile World"

I received a faulty product- the iphone could not get the time/date right. Seller only provided instructions to set it, which we tried over and over again. The product is obviously broken- if the iphone cannot even get the basic time/date right, something is definitely wrong. Seller said the incorrect time/date was not a "fault"- seriously? Seller then directed me to apple support. great.

First time writing a review...but was so happy with purchase and delivery!...I read tons of reviews for the iPhone 5c...some people who ordered a 'new' one said it didn't look new at all when it came...that made me nervous to go over 300 just to find out of wasn't a new phone at all...I went with the refurbished...my daughters bday was in a few days..ordered phone overnight mail (20 dollars)....came to my door next day as promised!...looked great!...new condition!..not a scratch or anything!...she loved it!...I'm glad I got this one instead of paying 100 more ....

I was cautious about ordering a phone from a second party like this, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the service and the quality of the phone. The phone is very nice. There are no scratches anywhere. It works perfectly. I was also contacted by the company about a week after I received the phone just to be sure that it was received fine. They were very professional. I have recommended them to my friends.

the worst seller and the worst buy ull ever do...i bought it it was unlocked but it turned off every 3 minutes..im in Ecuador so i went to the technician and they told me the problem was huge and it was located n the mainboard....it turned out i cant do anything for it..do not buy from this seller...and dont spend your money n this defective item
