They Gave replacement instantly.
A faulty/defective processor arrived but they gave a swift replacement. Amazon service is one of the world's best.
Believe me this processor is a beat and monstrous.
You will definitely need a high tier 240mm or any 360mm Aio.
To undervolt the processor go to the Pbo settings set the PBO limits off and curve optimiser to negative and put 10 (start tweaking from here).
I am happy from my purchase. Thanks Amazon and seller I was nervous when order turned out to be faulty but they replaced it three days. Thanks

U can't get less with it 💯
I love the cores and thread...its future proof, u have budget get this one and it will last long for 10-15 years. All games run smmoth as hell. Editing, unzipping files are fluid.

I've been using this processor since 2 weeks, to be honest I wasn't expected to be happy to change from the blue to the red team. I've been with blue team since forever however I though to give it a try and switched to the red team after daily chase for this processor since November 2020.
My monitor is oddessey G9, which is 8mp monitor @244hz.
My previous processor is in 9900k and I wasn't able to go above 120fps even when lowering tbe resolution @5.2ghz.
Now without changing anything except the processor and mobo, my fps jumped to 140hz.
I know I have to change the gpu, but just to let you know the huge performance diffrence between these 2.
On the con side, they have marketed the processor to be able to reach 4.9ghz.
So far using freon cooling and 16 fans I'm not able to reach anything beyond 4700mhz and stable at 4600mhz using asus x570 strix.
I'm not sure why I would need 4.9ghz but if the figure is written I expect that it should be achievable!!!
On 4k and 8k video editing I noticed 30-40% performance improvement while rendering yet processor kept running below 50% and lower then 50c.

I'm a Indie Game developer/blockchain engineer I work on my own projects also work in the music EDM scene with producers in Europe Norway and Denmark this is by far the best investment I made can handle all my instruments native instruments way better than anything I've previously had before never crashing or slowing down no latency no issues when it comes to making games or rendering the level design easy doesn't even heat over 40° without overclocking the best investment I've ever made for a PC believe me when I tell you there's nothing better!!

I purchased this for a streaming/gaming build. I can run all games on max graphics alongside streaming and playing music on youtube and it rarely uses more than 7% of its capabilities. I cool mine with corsairs ICUE capellix liquid cooler and have 6 other fans on the rig (3 on the pc case and 3 on the roof of the case) the pc idles at around 20 degrees celcius and when in use runs youtube, twitch and subnautica at around 50-60 degrees. It also allows runescape to be running at ultra high graphics settings without any heating or performance issues (runs at 40 celcius and uses 2-4% of the processors capabilities) amazing bit of kit and I won't need to upgrade it for a VERY long time!

I use this CPU for video and astro imaging. It easily overclocked to 4.5ghz and blazes thru my huge amounts of data. I built a system with fast memory and NVMe 4.0 SSDs to compliment the CPU. In projects that used to take 6 hours to render, now take 40 minutes. And, I hear Zen 4 and 5 will blow this CPU out of the water. Good times ahead.

This CPU is really fast - fastest available right now. It is nice to have 16 actual computing cores as more and more applications are taking advantage of multiple cores. Power consumption is quite low, about 150W at maximum load. And CPU temps never go above 70C (with 25C ambient) even under full stress load with water cooling (ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280). Since there is very little heat to dissipate the fans are barely spinning and PC stays cool and quiet. This is my first AMD build in 20 years - and I could not be happier. This is a true Next Generation CPU, which makes PC exciting again.
There was one minor issue with Win10. After installing new Ryzen 5950X CPU, Win10 refused to boot because it tried to install some AMD drivers that did not work. This issue was resolved by using system restore (and effectively rolling back the installation of new drivers). Therefore when doing CPU upgrade on existing system it is better to create a fresh system restore check point just before replacing CPU. This is the issue with Win10 update process not the CPU.

Puissance et compatibilité
Ryzen 9 5950X, installé sur carte mère asus crosshair hero VI "6" X370 avec le dernier bios mis à jours à cette heure (le faire avant).
utiliser avec 4 barrettes Corsair vengeance LPX DDR4 8Go 3200Ghz.
paramétrage a effectué dans le bios pour en tirer pleinement sa puissance, car quand vous changer le processeur le bios se remet à zero (normal)
quand tout vos paramètres sont faits, faite une sauvegarde du bios sur un clef USB c'est bien si vous faite des changements ça peut aider, par contre prévoyez un watercooling, perso j'ai le EISBAER PRO AURORA 360 et il est parfait, j'avait testé au début avec mon Noctua NH U12S SE AM4 avec 2 ventilateur noctua, ça passé mais sans dépasser les 60% de charges et non overclocké, sinon le noctua ne suivait plus et la tour devenait très chaude à l'intérieur malgré les ventilations entrante et sortante.... (cf voir mon commentaire sur le eisenber pro si il est encore là)

Un programa para controlar la CPU AMD.
El Programa CTR 2.1 RC5.
Con este programa controlas la estabilidad de la Frecuencia de los MHz.
Siempre fluctúa y esto hace que la CPU no sea del todo estable, ahora podremos mantener la Frecuencia y de esta manera la mantenemos estable.
Es muy fácil de usar.
Yo he decidido bajar la velocidad, que varíe entre 4.350 a 4.400 MHz... Usando la CPU al 100%, no pasa de 60° y tengo todo el rendimiento sin calentarse.
En reposo entra entre 30°-32°.
También se puede subir, pero será mejor que tengáis una buena refrigeración.
Windows volvió a actualizar y volvió a malversar la configuración anterior, la que explico más abajo.
Lo único que he podido hacer, después de cambiar muchas veces la configuración para intentar que fuera estable, a sido quitar Hello Windows y desactivar unas cuantas opciones del Windows Defender.
Logré que se volviera más estable que antes.
Ahora funciona de perlas.
Resumen, el procesador no es el problema que tiene a muchos en pie de guerra con AMD, el culpable de los fallos y reinicios por supuestos cortes de energía, es Windows.
Windows, un sistema operativo con múltiples fallos, códigos mal depurados y comandos que no son para AMD.

Descargar e instalar este software AMD... AMD Chipset Software 3.10.08.506.

Mucha gente se queja que es una tostadora.
Pero la verdad es que es estable en temperatura para jugar y trabajar.
Como máximo se me pone a 72°... Rindiendo al 100%.
90° es lo máximo que soporta este procesador.
Con una refrigeración líquida barata y unos ventiladores a 2400rpm, va de lujo.
La pasta térmica influye mucho.
También hay que configurar los ventiladores para que rindan al 100% cuando llegue a 60°, con juegos AAA, se queda a 60-65°... No todos, hay muchosimos juegos que se queda entre 55-60°.
Los Intel de última generación, también son tostadoras... Pero, ahora aguantan más calor todos los procesadores, así que por norma, generan más calor.
Quien diga lo contrario, es por qué o no sabe bien cómo funcionan los nuevos procesadores o no sabe bien que componentes le va mejor.
