Overall great cpu. Definitely worth it.
A weird thing is the cpu frequency jumps all over the place. Just opening a web browser I see clock speeds randomly jumping to 5ghz on it's own, then drops quickly, and constantly does stuff like that. I am not sure if it's these cpus or the msi godlike x570 bios. The only negative of this is it would trigger the desktops fans to go fast then slow, and they would constantly do that which was supper annoying, but I found a good fan curve that kept cool temps and not the constant noise.
I use NZXT Kraken X73 360mm water cooler. It keeps cpu around 40C when gaming. The only weird thing is when I first power on my PC the first few minutes the cpu runs around 70-80c, then after a few minutes it will drop to 20c-40c, not sure why it does this or if it's related to the cooler.

The CPU works well on extremely heavy things like upscaling videos or other heavy multicore loads (Blender). There is negligible improvement compared to the 5800X or 5900X on video rendering or for music production use. There is no improvement in gaming.
When the CPU is clocked low (1.7GHz) for power saving purposes, it is much worse than the 5800X at the same clockspeed.
Other than that, the CPU works great and for heavy multicore loads its a welcome improvement over the 5800X and 5900X. Just make sure you can justify the price difference by how youre using the chip.

Put this in a Dark Hero and paired with a h170i Elite LCD 420mm, does run warm (mostly just a single core) but runs so well. Upgraded from a R7 3800x and it just destroys it. Thing barely sweats under load but idles around 50 on the package (most cores in 30s but one runs about 55 prolly iCue causing) At Stock you're looking at around 23-24k in Cinebench R23 turn on PBO and Auto OC you'll easily hit over 26k with a good cooler. This thing is seriously fast

This is the ultimate AMD CPU for the AM4 socket.
One negative - since it has a TDP of 105W, it tends to run the fans faster than the old Ryzen 7 3700X (TDP 65W) it replaced, but I haven't tweaked the fan settings yet. This same system started with a Ryzen 7 2700X - which also had a 105W TDP, and I did manage to have the fans quiet for day to day operations.
Overall I'm 100% satisfied with the performance boost

Plays nice with my RTX 3090ti. I don't do benchmarking, but works well when I run SolidWorks, Blender, or Cyberpunk 2077.

Very powerful processor for multithreaded applications such as video/audio encoding/editing. You can’t get a better processor than this for $799 unless you are ready to step up to the EPYC line/ThreadRipper for 3+ times more $$$.
Gaming is top notch as well making this processor “ jack of all trade” . Normally you have a trade off between multithreaded workloads and gaming/light threaded workloads but not anymore thanks to AMD Zen 3 architecture.
Coming from a loyal Intel camp, I must say I’m mighty impressed at the performance of this processor. I’m a PC enthusiast who is willing to spend $$$ to get the best performance out of computer and I must say this is the first time in a long time I actually saved $$$ getting this processor AND extracted more performance out of it for BOTH professional multithreaded workloads AND gaming at the same time.
Bravo AMD for pushing Intel out of its slumber. Competition is what drives innovation. Hopefully Intel can wake up and start innovate again with Alderlake (not really get my hope up) and MeteorLake (more likely).

ryzen 9 5950X d'occasion! Ce n'était pas assez explicite dans l'annonce. Mais je viens de vérifier dans la commande c'était indiqué. Pas encore installé en espérant qu'il fonctionnent parfaitement.

Excelente processador.
Produto muito potente e otimo pra multi-thread. Porém a plataforma AMD não é tão madura quanto a Intel. Não consigo usar Raid 0 e Windows 10 ou 11.

Great chip. Coming from a 2700x it was a nice improvement. Overclocks nicely, and doesn't get excessively hot like some reviews say. It's in a corsiar 465x on a dark hero motherboard. No complaints. For a cooler, am using a 360 AIO from corsair, but want to go custom loop soon. Use thermal grizzly, and let that baby fly :)

As usual delivery was prompt. I was excited to get this chip in the 5 year old motherboard that had a ryzen 7 1700 in it. I updated the bios in the ASROCK X370 Taichi mother board, and swapped it out. Used some new Arctic MX-4, and had to order another water cooler. That is a different story, I got the new AIO and this chip is awesome. I build with UnrealEngine5, and the 16 cores 32 threads pushed hard and fast, as well as cool. Water cool this chip if you want some performance from it. 1.3 volts with all cores @ 4500. Runs very cool. I know I can get more, but I want to make this last a little. Well worth the bucks for a home workstation.

I do a lot of H265 encoding and this just blazes. I use a deep cool AK620 fan works almost as good as my Noctua 15 but allows my top slot to be used by my GPU. I run stock no overclock and never exceed 80-85c when Handbrakeing. I know the AM5 on its way but I'm good for the next 5 or so years.

i was not expecting the difference to be like this since 3700x is a great and powerful CPU, after the upgrade, my PC is alot more responsive and games are smoother, sometimes in specific locations in games there was just a bit of stuttering due to the 1% lows with the 3700X, with this one, there is none, i'm very happy with this upgrade. considering the price now, if you can afford it, then buy it, nothing is called overkill and future proof!!

I bought this CPU for my current gaming build I have and let me tell you it works great, its a little warm for my taste but still a powerful CPU the amount of processes ran are nuts, overall a great CPU.

Für Enthusiasten, die Wert auf das letzte FPS legen - ja, dann ist sie jeden Euro wert. Evtl gerade für professionelle Anwender geeignet, weil aktuell die Preise für die Threadrippe Reihe extrem hoch sind.
Wem der Geldbeutel drückt aber dennoch Leitung will, sollte die Finger davon lassen und zu Alternativen CPU greifen.

The return policy and tremendous support that was offered even though I was half way across the world. They didn't charge me a dime and it took 2 days to arrive (usually deliveries take 1-2 weeks) and the Ryzen 5950x has literally made me extremely happy.
It is worth every penny, I game with no more lag or stutter and if you had problems with NVMe booting with Ryzen. It is a common problem and you can contact me if you need help or use the internet like I did which helped me ( disablin g c-control in the bios).
Thank you AMD for the great CPU, but man those bent pins are annoying and made me cry honestly.

16 cores is awesome for work and games. But it runs hot and has a lot of temp spikes. Get a great water cooler for this one.

Awesome processor and glad I waited until prices dropped too. I put this in my son's new computer. No issues running any games. Replaced AMD Ryzen 7 1800X which was great as well, but old now. Waited awhile for prices to drop.

This is a great processor but my experience was the first processor was DOA. Returned to Amazon and second processor worked. This CPU runs hot I would recommend an AIO at least 240mm. I run an EVGA CL24 and replaced the fans w/ Cooler Master 240mm ARGB and my temps under load never peak past 75 when gaming.

Amazing choice for those who desperately need multi core performance.
Won't recommend it for gamers cuz since it has more cores it will run hotter than its fewer core variants, but not a terrible choice either.

Best Option If U Love Ryzen Performance In Budget on DDR4 ,X570,B550 or B450.... Coz for 7000 series you need to update Motherboard and Ram and that too It's Currently Not Value for money
