This is hands down the fastest memory I've ever bought. Not only is it common for me to get read and write speeds of ~520mb/s (my previous hdd had speeds of ~60) but it stays pretty cool which keeps the speeds nice and high.

Even though I only got the 1TB version this was still a massive steal for my money, I would have got a higher one if I had the money at the time, and I'm considering upgrading my SSD anyway, it's going to be a pain to open it all up but oh well.

Anyway yeah, in conclusion, this is worth the value. I couldn't endorse this any higher, it's the best storage I've ever had. And it's amazing loading into games before I can even snap my fingers.

While the hardware might be perfectly good the same cannot be said for the provided software (Acronis True Image) for transferring everything from your old drive to the new one. It is utterly useless. The registration process is painful and then the transfer fails on UEFI machines (search for Acronis True Image framebuffer for details). The provided workarounds don't work with the OEM version of the software and your only option is to pay for an updated version. It also will not clone most Linux partitions - ironic given that Acronis True Image uses Linux to do the actual cloning. In the end I managed to successfully clone my old drive to the new using the open source Clonezilla software which worked flawlessly.

Also be aware that that the drive is double sided meaning it has components on both sides. This makes it unsuitable for installation in many laptops - like my XPS 13 7390 - which require single sided devices.

In the end I'm returning the drive and replacing it with a Samsung Evo Pro (single sided and hopefully the transfer software will work)

Used to fit into a Corsair Spec 05 case with a new X570 and Ryzen 3600 build.

The case supplied 5 potential drive options and the mobo supports 2 M.2/MDME drives. I fitted this, easy to fit and once formatted was recognised instantly in Windows 10 - no issues seen.

I'm using this for a drive for some of my Steam games - with all of the hardware mentioned I've never seen games start so quick before.

userbenchmark results - these are the highlights from some of the stats. Its 5 times faster than my Samsung 840 Evo boot drive

Read - 2498
Write - 1596
MIxed - 1366
SusWrite - 1309
377% 1692 Mb/s

Outstanding - 327%

Wow! I thought my ssd was fast before I got this.... jeez! It really is blazing fast!

It was easy to install apart from that pesky m.2 screw!

Doing the windows installation was a pain in the backside though! I had to boot into windows from my old ssd then setup the disk that way.

Not as easy as I would have liked but luckily I’m the IT guy so I sorted it in 20/30 mins.

But the quality of this drive wow! Just blown away!

Installed the drive today, cloned existing slower nvme drive without issues (other than some faff altering various bios settings to get it to boot from new drive). Speeds are impressive, worth noting that there is a difference in speeds between the different slots on my particular motherboard (MSI x570 gaming plus), so worth changing slots on your board and updating bios to make the drive as fast as possible.

It does run hotter than my older drive (Western Digital Blue SN550 1tb) and looking on HWINFO one drive (listed as drive 3) on the XPG was getting rather hot, above 90 C! But using my boards included heatsink did the trick though and now stays below 60 under heavy sustained load. Not sure if it was a reporting error on HWINFO or something else unusual, but may be worth bearing in mind for those without board heatsinks, as the included black cover/heat spreader in the box doesn't appear to do much except make it look better.

Time will tell on how reliable it is, but so far so good on the speed front.

I run crystal disk and both read and write speeds are over 3000. The worrying thing is the heat these let of , if you are gaming over two hours you will run in to crashies. I have ordered a waterblock for this as it is needed.The Barrow 2280/22110 m.2 ssd water block, ON AMAZON.COM. £30 With delivery. My conclusion is if you have a sata ssd it as good as for gaming. And the thin cooler is a joke . Who said that was cool ? Water cooling is a must.

Very easy to install and immediately visible in Bios and Windows Partition Manager. This is installed in a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot (running at x8). The speeds are 6 times as fast as my SATA SSD - see picture. I certainly don't need anything faster, even for high end gaming.

Die SSD kommt nüchtern verpackt, kein Schnickschnack, kein Zubehör. Der Heatspreader liegt separat bei, sodass je nach Anwendungszweck selbst entschieden werden kann, ob sie mit oder ohne betrieben wird.

Selbst bei längeren Schreibvorgängen ließ sich die Abwärme mit Heatspreader gut in Zaum halten, Schreibraten blieben sehr konstant. Man bekommt hier ohne Frage Leistung auf Augenhöhe mit den Großen, wie auch der Screen des CrystalDiskMark verdeutlicht. Die Geschwindigkeit ist für meine Zwecke realistisch gesehen überdimensioniert, aber wozu soll ich bei diesem Preis noch SATA kaufen?

Auch in Puncto Garantie hat ADATA die SSD mit 5 Jahren marktgerecht aufgestellt, insofern stand für mich außer Frage, die SX8200 den teils deutlich teureren Platten aus dem gleichen Leistungssegment vorzuziehen.

Der Langzeittest wird zeigen, ob auch die Haltbarkeit oben mitspielt, aber stand heute bekommt die SX8200 meine volle Empfehlung.

Was a bit of a fiddle to install but It was my lack of motherboard knowledge which caused this. The device is very fast and pretty much invisible. I used windows disk management to initialise it as a D: drive very easily. The supplied software may be useful to some but looks pretty basic but functional. Not the cheapest out there but if you need speed then you need this.

Best thing about this one it has a very good real life performance forget about the advertised speeds. You will hardly get them on any of those. However this product falls short only of Samsung EVO plus in random read and write, which is what a normal user will get by doing normal things on PC. Everything runs fast. Get EVO only if you want that marginal boost over ADATA. However you will pay a lot for that marginal boost. So make yourself a favour and buy this one. Unless you run some elaborate server setup, then get GEN 4. Games load fast. No doubt about it. Warhammer 2 Total War which is known for loading times is nothing for that one. At £116 it's 0.116 p per GB, as opposed to EVO plus which is 0.167 p per GB. That ~ 0.050 p difference builds up quickly and you are not getting better performance and in some instances even worse.

I just plugged it in and it worked with no issues (not forgetting that you need to set it up in the bios for x4 compatibility in the bios if its a second card like mine) you also need to set it up in windows and alicate a drive letter.

It made a difference when saving and using files, my PC feels more responsive, well worth the money.

This has made my computer 10 times faster I would have given it 5 stars but there wasn't a screw in the box a simple screw would have made it better instead I had to buy a set of screws for £6 when I only needed one
The software to use to transfer my data didn't work either so I used a free one that worked great

Plug and play. However I wanted to use the SSD as a Bootable Windows Drive and it wouldve been nice for instructions on how to do so. Online manual or that. Was difficult to find on forums but got there in the end. Very fast. Lots of space. Very happy.

This SSD works great. Everything is fast and snappy and Windows boot time takes only few seconds. I bought i for little less than £100 during a sale and it is a hell of a deal.

On the other side, there is probably no reason for you to buy NVME M.2 drive if your PC is anything different from a top spec £2000+ gaming rig or a server machine. Average consumer PC hardware doesn't have enough power to squeeze out all the juice from a high performance NVME, like this ADATA XPG. You're probably better off saving a couple of pounds buying a cheaper 1tb SATA SSD.

Formatted size for the 1tb version in windows is 953Gb usable.
Heat spreader looks cool, no screw included fyi. My mobo had the screw and standoff screw already in place.
Pic attached for speeds.
Will keep review upto update if performance degrades.

Might be just behind latest Gen technology but still outperforms some who charge far more money. Adata's software off their website is a bit rubbish, but no reason not to recommend the drive. Transfer rates as expected. Been using it for several months every day as primary drive.

The price of these has been dropping so dramatically over the last year and at just under £100 for 1TB I finally bit! Really glad I did, speeds speak for themselves.
Temps with an aftermarket generic heatsink on the controller part only (it is highly advised not to use anything on the storage itself) haven't exceeded 50C under load so very pleased.

Used with SupaGeek M.2 NGFF NVMe SSD Adapter Card. Easy to fit but recommend you watch one of the available You Tube videos on installation beforehand and don't forget the heat resistant Kapton tape.

I'm normally a brand geek, so would have tried samsung drives until I saw and researched this. Well, it's great, very happy with my purchase, startup is rapid, installations are rapid, pretty much everything is superfast, not pushed everything as yet, but for now, no complaints.

Super easy to install in my MSI X570 Unify, even for someone like myself who hasn't built a computer since the Athlon socket 939 days! Incredibly speedy, and will one day become a ridiculously fast game library when I get a PCI 4.0 nvme drive.

It arrived nicely packaged, with optional cover (mine was not required as mother board had one). Just plugged in and secured it. Turned PC on and all was in place.
Using it as system drive, great storage capacity and speed.
Price will always be a question as it can change as the wind blows, but I am satisfied with mine.

Basic OS and programmes on self build computer. Easy to install and Window 10 eventually updates after several failed attempts, a Windows problem. Most of the data will be on another disc.

Used as a game drive.
I have noticed that games run a bit smoother.
Came with a flat metal heat sink, never used it as it only cools one side of the drive, so used an after market cooler.
Happy with purchase and the 5 year warranty.

Excellent SSD, expected nothing more nothing less, however, my motherboard screws were slightly too short for it therefore I had to use a little force to screw this SSD in.

I believe this should come with a 2280 screw, that's why I am giving 4 stars.

just quick review of what i've seen so far and its pretty amazing. for the price to performance, im getting the rated specs as they showed. no issues and just works flawless. has really suprised me tbh :) , would defently recommend.
the adapter i used with this is StarTech.com x4 PCI Express to M.2 PCIe SSD Adapter.

This has breathed new life into my desktop, boot time down to a third of what it was. PC now responsive, almost like a clean install. My motherboard is 4 years old so running on my m. 2 pcie2x2 slot, nowhere near available speed but still a massive improvement. Money well spent, very happy with my purchase.

Installed on my new motherboard and worked straight away. I formatted it in windows (type format in start bar) and have now installed windows on it as my main system drive. Just make sure you have a screw and mount for your motherboard handy.
