I have noticed that games run a bit smoother.
Came with a flat metal heat sink, never used it as it only cools one side of the drive, so used an after market cooler.
Happy with purchase and the 5 year warranty.
I believe this should come with a 2280 screw, that's why I am giving 4 stars.
the adapter i used with this is StarTech.com x4 PCI Express to M.2 PCIe SSD Adapter.

Il faut 15/20 minutes pour écrire 500 GO .
Ceci-dit j'ai également un SSD SATA externe qui donne un résultat quasi équivalent en terme de temps pour le même exercice .
Il n'en reste pas moins vrai que c'est un bon choix pour qui veut un SSD M2 NVMe très correct à un prix (nettement) inférieur à certaines marques concurrentes .
De plus, la marque offre une garantie de 5 ans ce qui n'est pas négligeable .
Ayant privilégié une carte pcie to m2 ventilée, je n'ai pas eu a utiliser le dissipateur de chaleur fournit avec, cependant il n'idle jamais car très bien refroidi.
Bon achat, je recommande.
Le montage étant une simple formalité je me m'étendrai pas sur le sujet. Ne chauffe pas et les performaces sont bien au rendez vous.
Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Je le recommande sans la moindre hésitation.
Sinon c'est un bon prix tout de meme pour 1To
Petite bévue en route : car il est tombé en panne (sans doute un problème de firmware), mais le SAV me l'a changé rapidement. Désormais, il fonctionne bien.
En plus, il se place dans une gamme de prix tout à fait intéressante pour ce type de produit.
I purchased this NVME SSD to install into an i5-4670k based computer. Unfortunately the motherboard had no suitable M.2 slot so I had to purchase an adapter (see Sabrent or similar if required)
Overall the speeds of this drive have been fantastic and i've been very happy with this purchase. I've attached a CrystalDiskMark benchmark of the drive.
Do note, this machine is 6.5 years old at this point and so, I have tested and can confirm faster speeds on newer machines.

I've returned my drives because of this lack of transparency.
Il faut simplement faire attention au système de fixation sur la carte mère avant de se lancer. L'écrou de fixation et la vis fournis avec mon Asus PRIME X370 Pro sont très petits et requièrent des outils à leur taille.

At that point that was 9 days in the future! So I email the service center and get no response - no automated response or anything to say when I can expect a reply. I'm not even sure if my support request will get seen or handled.
Sorry Adata, get your act together! This is not acceptable. If you sell a product with included software licenses then you have to provide that license immediately on demand, not several days or weeks in the future. Whatever internal IT problems you're having, get them sorted ASAP because it is impacting customers.
I'm sure this is good hardware but so far I have no idea because I can't get it fully installed.
I've only ever bought Samsung SSDs. Among other drives, I've got a NVME 960 Pro (250GB) in my PC just for WINDOWS (I got it back in August 2017 and it's been doing the job fine ever since).
Why Adata? I built a SFF PC for my wife as a Christmas present. She's not an enthusiast as myself so she wouldn't care Adata or Samsung. In any case, I want going to put crap on her new PC but quite the opposite. So I checked the reviews and they're quite consistent: Adata 1TB is a strong performer. So I pulled the trigger.
I compared the new build against my build and my wife PC (Adata) has faster write/read speeds than mine. Whether you'll notice it or not is a different story.
My wife's PC specs (used exclusively for typical office tasks: Word, Excell, browsing and movies):
- Ryzen 3400G
- Asus ROG Strix X470-I Gaming
- Adata XPG SG8200 Pro 1TB
- Corsair RM550x
- Raijintek Metis Plus
My rig:
- Ryzen 3900x
- MSI RTX 2080 GAMING X TRIO
- Asus Crosshair VI Hero
- EVGA 850W T2
Etc...
Installation was easy and was just a case of plugging it into the m.2 slot on the motherboard and securing it with a screw.
The drive came with a stick on heat spreader and you will need to use this if your motherboard doesn`t have a heat spreader supplied with it.
This drive gets quite hot under extended use.
While the drive was working it delivered excellent speed and snappiness in use and i was really pleased with it, Unfortunately just over 2 months after purchase the drive stopped working and wasn`t recognised by my motherboard any more.
Further investigation using another motherboard led to the conclusion the drive had failed and was returned to the supplier.
I am not saying these drives have a build problem far from it just that the item i got was returned due to failure.
Dont love that uk product didn't include the fixing screw as seen on you tube videos.
Dont love lack of instruction or support included.
If you buy this to be your main drive, make sure you understand what your doing with regards to cloning etc.
I do have to state here that Amazon customer support is forthcoming BUT they only act as intermediaries with manufacturers who dont respond, so dont knock Amazon for trying.
Ok couple more good bits:
Once successful cloning is achieved by your own voyage of discovery learning, this drive delivers, I have added the included simple adhesive heatsink as the m.2 drives can run hot, so the more ventilation in your case the better or whatever other heat dissipation solution you come up with.
There are a lot of cloning software available but be careful as some of it is not free or fully functional. I used EasUS free 30 day trial very successfully.
Will definitely be looking for mb with at least 2 or more m.2 slots for future build as it eliminates cables/connectors required for drives and keeps the case nice and clean.
En primera para que un disco alcance las velocidades que dice debe de tener un buen hardware, principalmente la RAM y el procesador ya que de estos depende principalmente el BENCHMARK que se le aplique. La verdad dudo que en una laptop de todo el ancho.
Por otro lado los 3500 MB/s en lectura y 3000 MB/s en escritura son solo para la versión de 1TB según el fabricante, incluso el fabricante da tablas de velocidades que debería registrar el software que se use para el BENCHMARK.
También dependiendo del software serán las velocidades, yo utilicé el ATTO y el CDM(Crystal Disk Benchmark) y en el CDM aunque cambien de versión de software si no cambian el 1GiB por un valor mayor como 4 o en mi caso que usé 8GiB, no se van a alcanzar los 3500 y 3000 que dice el fabricante.
En ATTO obtuve 3200MB/s Read y 2800MB/s Write.
En CDM obtuve 3456MB/s Read y 3046MB/s Write.
Estos son valores que coinciden perfectamente, aunque la verdad es lo que me interesa en menor parte, ya que en un uso normal, no se siente mucho la diferencia entre un SSD y un NVME, ni en el encendido, así que si no usan el NVME para algo que de verdad mueva grandes cantidades de información como edición de videos o algo así, mejor piensen bien en su compra. Ya que si solo lo quieren para que prenda más rápido y quieren comprar un NVME de 256GB y los juegos los van a seguir metiendo en un HDD mecánico, no tiene caso porque no va a cambiar las velocidades, mejor inviertan en una memoria OPTANE que es más barata y tendrá mejor compatibilidad con su HDD mecánico.
En conclusión, si vienen de un SSD Sata y no lo van a usar para algo como edición de video, no van a sentir mucha diferencia. Por otra parte por el precio de $3047.00 MXN vale la pena gastarlos en la capacidad de 1TB comparado con un SSD SATA de la misma capacidad.
NOTAS:
No trae tornillo M2x4.
El disipador no tiene mucho caso, pero si su Motherboard trae espacio para NVME con disipador propio, es mejor usar el disipador de la tarjeta madre, ya que el de la caja es una laminita del grueso de una cartulina.
Si están pensando en comprar el XPG S11 (que es más caro) piensen si lo que necesitan es el SSD con disipador ya que es la única diferencia, en todas las demás características es lo mismo.
Las temperaturas son muy buenas.
The internet has a few articles on ADATA swapping out the controllers in the SX8200 Pro with apparently a slower model - and this could explain my speeds, but I haven't figured out how to identify which is which, so take this part with a grain of salt.

Temperature during testing peaked at 70 Celsius (with the thin heatsink sheet included with the drive), which seems plenty reasonable.
My only complaint is that the M.2 card did not come with the screw to fix it to my ASUS motherboard. Due to this, I would recommend checking that the motherboard you plan to install the card has the screw in place (mine didn't) and if not to by a screw kit with a magnetic screwdriver (the screws are really tiny and difficult to get into place).
Für die meisten Nutzer, mich eingeschlossen, dürften die erzielbaren 3,1 GB/s Datendurchsatz beim Schreiben und >2,6 GB/s beim Lesen kaum ausreizbar sein. Wie bewerte dann ich nun die Qualität einer SSD die einfach nur funktioniert und das schneller tut als ich es brauche? Immerhin, es gibt große Unterschiede zur Samsung, obwohl beide bei den reinen Lese-Transferraten erstmal etwa gleichauf liegen. Zum einen ist die Schreibrate (sequenziell) bei der Adata um 70% höher als bei der Samsung - ironischerweise gemessen mit dem Samsung-Tool zur SSD-Verwaltung. Auch ist die Temperatur der SSDs bei Adata um ca. 10 Grad niedriger, das ist schon relativ viel, erst recht in einem sehr kompakten PC-Gehäuse, in dem möglichst wenig Abwärme entstehen soll und das auf Stromsparen ausgelegt ist. Zuletzt wird die Samsung bei den gemessenen IOPS abgehangen (Adata +46%).
Unterm Strich legt die Adata eine durch die Bank weg 1A-Leistung hin, übererfüllt meinen Einsatzweck, punktet mit Hochleistungscontroller und hoher Energieeffizienz. Schade fast, dass ich dieses feine Teil nur als Massenablagespeicher im PC verwende. Als Systemlaufwerk würde der Leistungsgewinn sicher noch höher ausfallen.
Transferring a system using Acronis takes a few minutes (unless transferring from a large hard disk when you remember why you need the ssd).
It is a relief to not have to choose what to store on the fastest tier of storage in the system, at least for a while.
It would be helpful if it came with a fixing screw but some motherboards have different size screws. Even my two MSI motherboards have different threads from each other for both standoff and fixing screw. It does come with a heat sink of sorts although I would prefer to use a better one when it is buried underneath a hot graphics card.
