Pros:- Nice size and resolution. I upgraded from a 22" 16:10 Widscreen LCD and this seems about the same height, but has more horizontal space due to the 16:9 resolution.- Good colors, image quality, black levels.- 3D gaming immersive experienceCons:- My monitor seems to have a very annoying humming noise whenever the screen is showing a lot of black or certain composition of colors. You can "hear" the monitor while you scroll down webpages, and it's rather annoying and I'm wondering if I have a defective unit.- Gaming in 3D isn't always perfect. Not sure if it is the 3D Vision technology or the monitor, but some games are much more suspect to image ghosting than others. Overall the 3D works well, but sometimes you cannot set the depth very high due to the image ghosting effect in some games.- No adjustments for stand- HDMI input lacks image/color quality, the DVI connection looks a lot better.- No USB connectionsThe monitor is overall good but if you want the best quality, you may want to consider the Alienware OptX AW2310. The build quality is much better, it has USB inputs and adjustable stand, and probably doesn't have this weird buzzing/humming sound.

I ordered this monitor for the 120Hz refresh rate so, i still didn't try the 3D capabilities. As a PC gamer who suffered from screen tearing & Vsync in the past years, this monitor feels like a gift from god. Works flawlessly in games and eliminates the screen tearing completely and with the 2 MS response time and 0 dead pixels, it made this cake taste sweeter.Pros:- 120Hz Refresh rate [tested, eliminates screen tearing].- 2 MS response Time.- Supports 3D in games & 1080p Blu-ray movies.Cons:- Non adjustable stand.- Colors can be better.The reason i gave this 5 stars and not 4 stars, because at this time you don't have many options with 120Hz monitors. And it does what it supposed to do. If you are a PC Gamer and you want the screen tearing to go away, buy this.

I had been waiting and I was very excited to get this monitor. I had just bought Avatar the game and was anxious to play it 3D. The monitor did not disappoint. The Nvidia set up was seamless and in no time I was running and jumping and shooting in the world of Pandora in 3d. It absolutely enhances the gaming experience. The problem occurred when I stopped playing games and wanted to physically position the monitor to do work. It's currently set up with a dual monitor configuration juxtapose to a slightly larger 24 inch monitor. Unfortunately The screen objects were not lining up properly. That's when I realized that there was no vertical adjustment on the stand. The vertical adjustment on my 24 inch was a low as it could go so I had to prop the ACER monitor on to of some books so the my screen objects would line up properly (yuck!!).Be careful when you play 3d games on this monitor, It can cause motion sickness and nausea. I currently have to limit my 3D game play to about an hour (which is probably a good thing).

This monitor is exactly as advertised--no more, and no less. It maxes out its refresh rate at 120Hz (which you can set through the display settings in Windows), and works really well with nVidia 3D vision. It's a very pleasant size if you sit a few feet away from it, and goes to 1080p. The only problem with it is that you cannot adjust the stand at all--you cannot raise or lower or pivot the monitor. The only choices you really have are whether it tilts upwards or downwards (but you can't make it straight).

I bought two. One just quit working today. Only half the screen is displaying, the other half has gone black. Don't waste your money.

Has anybody been able to return this to the seller or Acer America?The dynamic ghosting on the top and the bottom portion of the screen makesthis a defective product. It can't display 3D images with nVidia 3D Vision as advertised.I have tried all the tricks with no success.------------Update: Nov 24, 2010The previous negative review was based on 3D Vision using Quadro video card.I have another test using GeForce video card. The 3D images are stable andare as good as the Samsung 2233. The performance is now upgraded to 4 stars because of this.

Awesome monitor. Mine came with no dead pixels. Games play very smooth with 120 fps. Games play super awesome in 3D using NVIDIA 3D VISON.My few gripes are no built-in webcam, monitor isn't height adjustable nor angle adjustable.
