Великолепно

I ordered this hard drive to replace & upgrade our PS3 hard drive. It was perfect. Super easy to install & update. We were done in less than 15 minutes & it works wonderfully. It's fast and quite with tons of space. I would definitely recommend this item to upgrade or fix your PS3.

The western digital hard drive did not work, and the screen protector up to this day has not arrived. So what do you think my opinion is? UNSAT!!!

This is the second one I have purchased not because the first one failed but I decided to use the first one as an external drive. After a failed attempt to restore a system image to the one I already had I decided for the price to just buy another and use the first for backup.This drive runs extremely quiet in my Dell Inspiron 1545 to the point that in this model laptop being too quiet can be a downside. There is no hard drive indicator light (see my review of this computer elsewhere) therefore if an application stops responding for any length of time you can not tell if the drive is still being accessed. Of course this is not the fault of the drive,you want a drive this quiet and I am satisfied with the speed of access this drive delivers.Highly recommended for the value and performance.

This was purchased to upgrade my Intel Mac Mini, and in my research it seemed like the Scorpio Blue/Black had the best overall reviews. I picked Blue due to the larger available size, a tradeoff over speed, but I'm not disappointed - it's as fast as I could expect from a 5400 RPM drive, and I don't see much lag in anything I do.What's to say about it? The hardest part of the upgrade was deconstructing my mini to make the upgrade. The drive went in easy, spins up reliably, and is quiet, quiet, quiet. Needless to say I'm not experiencing any of the issues noted in the negative reviews (noise, reliability, failure) after 90 days of ownership. If you're looking to upgrade your laptop/mini drive, I can't see how you'd miss with this one. 500 GB goes a long way.

Bought this over a year ago as a replacement for my ACER HD that crashed. Quick simple and easy to replace... load the restore disks and I was ready to go. If my HD ever crashes again... I would come back and buy this.

I upgraded my Dell Mini 10V netbook that came with 160GB to this one.It is a wonderful HD. It is quiet and fast.It doesn't make as much heat as previous models.The installation was a breeze. (especially for the Mini 10V).It really is quiet. I actually used this on my Macbook Pro first.And then I bought the 640GB version for my Macbook Pro and used this one for the mini10v.So now I have a 160GB spare for emergency.It is a wonderful new series from WD. This Scropio Blue HD series is the most reliable drive I have used. (I am using at least 5 of them now.)Highly recommend.

Was easy to install. Definitely needed more room for the ps3 because 60 gigs were no longer cutting it. The GBs are more than enough for what I needed from this inter Hdd. Definitely a reliable product, have not had any game save or game installation issues at all. Very happy I went this route when upgrading internal hdd.

Recently my PS3 HDD started dieing (random freezes, would need to run the utility to rebuild the filesystem to get it to reboot), so I made a backup and started looking for replacements. After seeing reviews and the price on this (I can't believe how far drive prices have fallen), it was a no brainer to order this. The original 80 gig drive finally kicked the bucket a day later, and I eagerly awaited this.Unfortunately, the free shipping option was through USPS whom I've had problems with before with speed/condition of packages received. They claimed to have delivered the package on a day I was out of town, and it was not there when I got back late that night. I'm not assuming foul play on their part (though I don't rule it out), but my guess is the delivery guy left it outside my door and pretty much anyone at or visiting my complex could have picked it up. Keep in mind I live in an apartment complex on the first floor with open breezeways so anyone walking by my building could have seen/grabbed it (I actually live in a good neighborhood but nowhere is perfect), and the UPS deliverers all have the sense to leave packages with the complex main office with a note on my door (I called the office and they didn't have it either, so it's not just a case of a lost note).After several DAYS of runaround with USPS and getting nowhere I called Amazon up. Within 5 minutes they said they were going to send me a free replacement with next-day shipping. It came via UPS and needless to say I got it today, installed it, restored my backup data, and my PS3 has never run smoother.So to sum up: Great product + price, Amazon gave me AMAZING customer service, my local USPS office sucks.

The HDD is an excellent replacement for any laptop. I received the harddrive and installed it on a Toshiba laptop without a problem. The original was by Toshiba which only lasted 1.5 years. I also have another Toshiba laptop and its HDD went out right after a year. Evedently there seems to be a problem with Toshiba HDDs lasting just over a year. I would highly recommened this harddrive.

i just purchased a 13" unibody (late 2009) macbook pro, and when i was prompted to configure it at the apple site i saw the prices and was blown away and what they charged for hard drives, for half the price of what apple was going to charge i got this bad boy and put it in myself :-) i also installed my own ram (Crucial CT2KIT25664BC1067 4GB 204-PIN PC3-8500 SODIMM DDR3 Memory KIT (2GBx2)) and i suggest you do the same if youre thinking about buying a macbook or macbook proi have an external 1tb usb hard drive by western digital and love their products, especially their internal drives, i always choose them over seagate when i build custom pc machinesinitially when i ordered this product it was a dud and wouldnt mount (show up), so i did an exchange with amazon and they sent me another with 1day shipping, great service, so i got the 2nd drive, threw it into SATA to USB enclosure (Vantec NexStar NST-D100SU 2.5-Inch/3.5-Inch SATA to USB 2.0 and eSATA Hard Drive Dock (White)) and it worked, a couple minutes later reformatted the drive and cloned my existing hard drive on this 500gb one using Super Duper 2.5, and booya, ready for the hard drive swapworks amazing and i recommend it to anyone looking for a larger hard drive for their macbook/pro

Have been using this for a week, upgraded current drive by cloning it to the new 500gb with ghost. Has been working great so far, no issues, seems relatively speedy; only issue is that I wish it were a bit more quiet. It's not loud or whiny by any means, but you can, in a quiet room, definitely hear the soft humming of the HD.

The hard-drive itself worked well and was fast enough for me Lenovo and not too loud. However i excepted a longer life than only 1 and a half years. Since the laptop is 17" i did not really move the laptop around too much, so there was not much chance to damage the drive. However, it still died fairly quickly.

I've used a few WD's HDD and they have never failed me. This is another great drive by WD and Amazon's price on this large of a drive is great! I got this drive up and running in an Inspiron 1525 in minutes.Windows Index Experience rates this drive as 5.7 (on windows 7).

Good, highly reliable drive suitable for replacing/upgrading Dell Vostro or Inspiron systems (at least), easy to install, acceptable speed (faster drives are available for significantly higher prices). I have no complaints; this drive allowed me to recover from a system failure without having to buy a new laptop.

Works great with my ps3. It was easy to install. This hard drive is also a little faster than the original 40 GB hd that came with my ps3. I definetly recommend this hard drive for anyone upgrading their ps3.

I needed a bigger drive than my 160GB to install Windows 7 and virtual machines. I upgraded to a Western Digital Scorpion Blue 320 GB drive (I don't need anything bigger.) It was as simple as plug and play. No formatting was required for a Windows 7 clean install. A far cry from the old days of formatting for hours before installing software.

I have bought Western Digital drives in the past and have had no problems with them. Every now and then you can expect a manufacturer's error, but I haven't had that happen yet with WD. I used this drive to upgrade my Macbook Pro and it worked perfectly. I would always recommend Western Digital. The only thing I would have liked was if this drive was this price and 7200rpm on the speed.

The Good:Install was a breeze.Speed was more than sufficient for my needs.Good value for the money.The Bad:I installed it on a MacBook Pro 13" - Late 2009 model running Snow Leopard. The drive will freeze up my computer(spinning beachball) during general use (websurfing, etc). These spells last 45 seconds up to a minute, occur once or twice every hour, and the hard drive's read/write head makes grinding sounds. I visited the Western Digital support forums and other MacBook owners have reported the same issue. Too be fair, this might be a great drive for other laptop brands.

I bought this for my macbook pro. I installed it no problem, inserted the Snow Leopard system disk (I bought the family pack version) and booted easily from the CD drive automatically. However, it did take about four or five power down cycles until my MB recognized the Snow Leopard CD to boot from. But don't forget, once you select your main language preference after booting from CD, select "Disk Utility" at the top of the menu bar to format the drive. Then you can proceed with your system installation and then restore from Time Machine. It took about 2.5 hours to Time Machine restore about 150GB.

Love this hard drive! I bought it for my ps3 which had 60gb in it. I'm using this drive as an external drive and now I have 465gb to use. The only catch was getting it formatted to FAT32 which cost about 30$. Now the ps3 recognizes it and runs fast and quiet.
