- + Понравилось что монитор имеет не лучевую трубку, черного цвета корпус сделан из пластика, а не лакированного дерева. Изображение на мониторе цветное, что можно отнести к существенным плюсом и данное обстоятельство повлияло на мой выбор. Так как в мониторе отсутствуют лампы, скорость нагрева до рабочего состояния очень впечатлила. Обращу внимание на то, что к нему не требуется стабилизатор напряжение для стабильной яркости картинки. Были не большие трудности в с управлением, так как пол дня искал на нем потенциометры, и было уже хотел сдать. Оказалось, что технология у мониторы прорывная и их просто нет. Я в шоке. Дай Бог здоровья тем гениям от инженерной мысли, кто создал данную технологию без потенциометронной регулировки настроек.

-наконец-то есть RGB!!!!! Если RGB не нужен, я бы рекомендовал использовать XG2402, поскольку это практически тот же монитор, но вместо него есть красная полоса. RGB, хотя и делает монитор более эстетичным для меня, тем не менее.

I admit that i've been using a Samsung monitor that's probably 13 years old, and has VGA and no HMDI/Mini-DP/etc., so anything would probably seem better. But the quality of this monitor is very nice. The base is extremely sturdy and has good heft to it. The attachment mechanism for attaching the arm to the base is quick and easy. The attachment of the monitor to the arm is equally easy but sturdy. The adjustable height works extremely well and it can be titled to the sides. Image quality is great. I'm running a GTX 2070 Super and while it took a bit to figure out I needed to activate Free Sync through the displays menu, it works flawlessly once activated. I'm very happy with this purchase. Sure there are gaming monitors with higher refresh rates and other qualities but for the price this is a fantastic monitor and there does come a point the benefit is minuscule compared to the price increase and honestly, anything beyond these specs you're getting into very small return for the additional outlay. Very pleased with this monitor.

Переключение на этот монитор поначалу захватывает дух. Глубокий черный цвет на общем ярком мониторе и сплошные цвета - это приятно. Только после более глубокого изучения я обнаружил, что большинство функций можно использовать, но не одновременно. Очень вводит в заблуждение. Чтобы использовать Freesync, вы должны отключить режим HDR, а когда режим HDR включен, многие настройки изображения, которые вы ожидаете использовать, отображаются серым цветом и непригодны для использования. Not sure if this is direct feedback on the seller, or on the product, ill copy and paste it on product if so. This monitor is good quality for its price, i will say you can find the same monitor on Best Buy for almost $100 less and cheaper than this listing just about anywhere except amazon(when its in stock). Even with that being said im quite pleased with this monitor, this is perfect for FPS gamers with its great color and response time without reaaaly breaking your wallet, with that being said if you are reading this before purchasing, trying to find your first monitor, i will definitely recommend this, keep in mind this is a 1080p monitor (which is perfect for fps games) but remember when youre using it for web browsing or watching a movie or anything other than gaming, its going to be 1080p and sub par graphics quality, most people will understand this without it being said but newcomers looking for a first rig, please read that as many times as is needed before making your decision and think if thats what you really want. The stand and monitor itself are well made and THICC, it will not move around without you making it do so. The stand can be taken off and it can be mounted with a mount of your choice that fits it(didnt measure the mount spec size) I took a star off because setting this monitor up to look even decent within its settings was a lot of unnecessary stress (i have never in my life had to fight with such back and forth of every little notch to making a monitor look viable) and would be very confusing and frustrating to a new user who has never even considered there are color profiles and such settings you have to manually adjust, just looked horrendous at first, but now that ive dialed it in to look okay the colors POP in the ways game developers intend them to.

I'm not sure if it's me but I've tried to calibrate this monitor's colors so many times but it just always seems off. I honestly would recommend looking at a different 144Hz monitor like LG or ASUS since they seem to have been easier to setup and use without fooling around with settings. However, this one is definitely really nice and the RGB is cool. HOWEVER, the Razer Chroma stuff does not support this monitor like it says. The other ones advertised do but Razer doesn't let you change anything with the monitor. Although, it does function with some games like Fortnite and Overwatch where it will change colors based off of events in the games. The speakers are pretty meh and I really only use them if I am not wanting to use my headphones and just watching a stream while doing laundry, otherwise pretty week. Overall this monitor is decent but has things that makes me almost wish I bought a different monitor for better color display and stuff. OH, and the USB's are nice to have on this if you like that. I don't really need them but I have used them for a few things like a flashdrive here and there or testing peripherals.

Muy buena calidad, requiere ajustes
Llevo una semana utilizando este monitor y estoy muy contento con el, la calidad de imagen es mucho mejor que mi monitor anterior y los 144hz son increíbles para videojuegos.
El único problema que tiene es que los ajustes de fabrica hacen que la imagen se vea descolorida, pero tiene fácil arreglo en el menú de configuración del monitor, encontré que el modo "realista/realística" tiene un buen balance de colores y un brillo aceptable, al principio fue difícil acostumbrarme debido a que mi monitor anterior era muy oscuro pero dale 2 días y se sentirá normal.
El diseño de luces RGB en la parte de atrás del monitor también es bastante agradable pero solo funciona cuando el monitor tiene el brillo a 70% lo cual no esta tan mal con el diseño para proteger los ojos que tiene.
Recomiendo este monitor a cualquiera que busque un monitor con panel TN de buena calidad y sobre todo 144hz, ningún arrepentimiento de la compra por mi parte.

The stand is very strdy with good level of adjustment for the price. I like the design, there are no strips of bright "gaming" colours on the base or the monitor, I like that. The RGB looks nice on the wall behind it and can always be turned off, if you dont like it. I like the coulours on this one. Ive always used a TN panel, but this one had the best colours right out of the box. If you are used to IPS, you might feel differently. Going from 60hz to 144 I expected the difference to be "night and day" as most people say it is. I personaly dont see it. Yes there is noticably lesss tearing. But as far as smoothness goes, I expected more after listening to every one saying how amazing it is. I tried CSGO capped at 100/120/144 FPS and there is no noticable tearing, but when i move around fast its not that smooth and crisp, you still loose detail while moving.
Is ot better than my 60£ 60hz monitor? Yes it is.
Is it 5 times better? Not at all.

As far as TN panels go this is definitely one of the best ones I've come across.
The image quality is actually pretty decent considering the panel type. Once the proper OSD tweaks have been made the colours are accurate and the contrast is quite respectable with a good amount of brightness. I wouldn't buy this if you do colour accurate work as it's not suitable for it. Viewing angles aren't brilliant but again, it's TN, they're manageable - not really an issue if facing it head on. The RGB lights on the rear of the display are very weak, you'd be better off buying proper bias lighting if you want that effect. Personally, I just keep them off as I find them really gaudy on top of being practically useless.
Where this monitor really shines though, is for gaming. The pixel response times are very well tuned resulting in a minimum amount of motion blur at 144Hz using the Faster overdrive setting. There's no strobing technology unfortunately, but it's not that big of a deal, it would have been nice to have, though. There are 5 levels of overdrive; Standard can be ignored, Fast is pretty good, Faster is (in my opinion) the best, Ultra Fast introduces a bit of overshoot and Fastest is unusable as the overshoot is far too distracting. I have no way to accurately measure input lag but it feels instant, so no worries there, and using Freesync on my RX 5700 XT is buttery smooth with not a tear in sight.
As a gaming monitor the XG240R excells where it matters. This is a very fast display. If speed is your top priority the only worthy upgrade would be a 240Hz monitor, though they generally are ~£100-200 more expensive and are geared towards the ultra-competitive type of gamer. The XG240R, in terms of price-to-performance, is a real winner if you can look past the usual TN issues such as the poor viewing angles and less vibrant colours compared to an IPS display.
All in all I'm very happy with my purchase. Would recommend.

ViewSonic Elite XG350R-C 35-inch (I have to mention it here since amazon is unable to properly link reviews to particular models)
Whats good:
- Great colors. Better then my MBP when comparing side by side. In terms of resolution, you many notice a difference between this one and retina if you look close enough.
- I haven't noticed any backlit bleed at all. Which is surprising. I was specifically looking for a monitor without it and I finally found one! I can't notice any bleed during gaming or daily usage. The only time I noticed some bleed at the corners is when my pc goes to sleep and stops sending the image to the screen, but the monitor is still on.
- VA performs really good in dark scenes.
- 35 inch, bigger than 34 offered by most brands;
- Great menu and controls. It is responsive, it provides the ability to save config profiles and even name them the way you want. Profile switching works fast, I'm mentioning it because some monitors in this price range take a good 3-4 second to do do it.
Worth knowing:
- it has an external power supply brick.
- it could have been a 144hz monitor. One can find a 144hz unit for 400 quid but it will be a lower class so i'd expect the picture to be worth.
- It is heavy as hell, huge 55 inch TV is twice lighter.
An note on frequencies. I must say that it is 90% marketing and 10% truth. I did a lot of research and loos like there are adepts of high refresh screens and non believers. Yes anyone will notice the difference between 30 and 60Hz even when dragging windows. There is a small difference between 60 and 100. I have used 144hz LG 1000 quid monitor at my friend's and i must say i did not feel the frequency difference after i returned to my 100hz unit . I'm sure one will see it if compared side by side but not in real life. Some ppl claim they can even see a lag if hdmi cable is too long, which is anecdotal at best.
Ghosting is much more important then frequency and I have yet to see a monitor with no ghosting at all.
Absolutely worth the money, If you can get a returned unit for 400 which is a real steal. I got it from amazon whorehouse for 400 quid while brand new are sold for 600. My had no sign of use.

The only alternatives for gaming are either unavailable in the UK or far more expensive. Reading external reviews they were overly critical IMO (as their models were more expensive and thus less competitive) - for £430, you can't do much better.

This is a great monitor, but you REALLY have to mess with the settings, once that is done, every game will look crisp clear. Even I haven't finished with the settings, but I like it how it is now.

I was in the market for a replacement monitor, mainly for playing games. After some searching and review reading I opted in for the XG240r. Out of the box, it needs some calibration if you want a better color reproduction. After some tweaking (there are some calibration settings around the web in some reviews) the color reproduction was nice for a TN panel. Not good like an IPS or even VA panel, but it is color accurate if you are positioned dead center.
The in-game performance is very good, the panel is blazing fast and it really shows the beauty of this screen. Fast paced games are his bread and butter and I haven't noticed any flicker or stuttering while playing.
It has a bit of backlight bleeding if you are in dark environments, but I think it is a limitation for TN panels. Since it has a wide array of gamma, color and black stabilisation options, you can, more or less, mitigate a bit of that problem, but what helped me to get a better contrast was to had a LED strip in the back of the monitor to create some bias lighting. It helped to perceive a better contrast with blacks. The built-in RGB lights are very dim and week, so, to create the effect I opted in for a custom LED strip, as I've already said.
Just a side note, the contrast ratio in higher refresh rates (120hz and 144hz) is way less than in 60-100hz. If you want to use it for office related tasks, want better ratios and color reproduction, just remember to change the refresh rate to a lesser one. The perceived gamma is greatly helped.
Other than that, and in resume, if you are looking for a blazing fast gaming panel, with zero blur, nice color reproduction for a TN panel, I think it is a safe bet. If you are looking for great color reproduction, maybe this will not be your game.
The in-game performance is very good, the panel is blazing fast and it really shows the beauty of this screen. Fast paced games are his bread and butter and I haven't noticed any flicker or stuttering while playing.
It has a bit of backlight bleeding if you are in dark environments, but I think it is a limitation for TN panels. Since it has a wide array of gamma, color and black stabilisation options, you can, more or less, mitigate a bit of that problem, but what helped me to get a better contrast was to had a LED strip in the back of the monitor to create some bias lighting. It helped to perceive a better contrast with blacks. The built-in RGB lights are very dim and week, so, to create the effect I opted in for a custom LED strip, as I've already said.
Just a side note, the contrast ratio in higher refresh rates (120hz and 144hz) is way less than in 60-100hz. If you want to use it for office related tasks, want better ratios and color reproduction, just remember to change the refresh rate to a lesser one. The perceived gamma is greatly helped.
Other than that, and in resume, if you are looking for a blazing fast gaming panel, with zero blur, nice color reproduction for a TN panel, I think it is a safe bet. If you are looking for great color reproduction, maybe this will not be your game.

For anyone who legitimately uses their system for gaming, a monitor to reflect that use is a must in my opinion. Going from 60Hz to 100Hz+ will not feel that noticeable immediately, it feels smoother, but give yourself a few days and then go back to a 60Hz panel. You will find the experience intolerable when gaming and there is no going back especially for fast-paced games.
This monitor at 144Hz is the perfect sweet spot for 1080p gaming, paired with my RX 5700 I am able to game at ‘High’ to ‘Ultra’ settings and keep within the 144FPS range. Equipped with AMD’s FreeSync, this means that the adaptive refresh rate technology will match the FPS your system is pushing out. So if you are lower than 144FPS or just get framerate drops the panels refresh rate will match that of the FPS, eliminating screen tearing or stuttering. Which especially for e-sports gamers in particular is a noticeable feature. The 1ms response time means low latency which again is especially important for gaming.
This monitor has impressed me, it is well valued at $330 (at time of purchase), and delivers as expected. The features that stand out to me besides the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time are the great stand that allows for vertical displaying, built-in speakers, very solid build quality, and VESA compatibility with a tool-less quick disconnect for the monitor from the included stand (no screws required). RGB is cool, but I do not see it as a practical feature, in that most people have their monitor up against a wall so the RGB on the back panel would not be visible. But a nice touch nonetheless!
My only gripe if this were my main display, is the panel type being TN, if your primary use case is content viewing, video/photo editing, or any color accurate work then this would not be my first recommendation. For those users, you would want to look at an IPS panel (more expensive for high refresh rate), but if you are going for an all gaming setup this is a fantastic choice. TN pixels also respond faster which helps keep latency low.
Overall I am very happy with this gaming monitor, no issues, no dead pixels, and I can highly recommend it to those interested!

Ich hatte den LG 24GL600F-B auch da und fand die Bedienung des Menus besser (allerdings so oft benutze ich das auch nicht) und eventuell hat FreeSync etwas besser funktioniert (benutze es mit Nvidia). Allerdings fand ich das Schwarz nicht so super.
Bei diesem hier (Viewsonic) erscheint das Schwarz deutlich weniger grau. Zudem konnte ich auch angenehmere Bildeinstellungen für mich finden (ich hatte bei beiden sehr viel rumprobiert). Der flexible und ohne Werkzeuge montierbare Ständer scheint mir auch etwas besser.
# DisplayPort Hot Plug Detection
Eigentlich schreibe ich diese Rezension jedoch, da zum folgenden Problem in Tests/Rezensionen viel zu selten etwas geschrieben wird, was die Recherche stark erschwert. Offenbar benutzen viele Leute entweder kein DisplayPort, haben nur einen Monitor oder haben aus anderen Gründen kein Problem damit.
Ich hatte schon vorher einen älteren DisplayPort-Monitor (Dell U2312HM), aber beim LG dann erstmals das Problem, dass nach dem automatischen Ausschalten des Bildschirms und dann wieder aufwecken (z.B. Maus bewegen) der Monitor für einige Sekunden aus Windows verschwindet. Dadurch ordnen sich zunächst alle Fenster des verschwundenen primären Monitors auf dem sekundären Monitor an (einer meiner alten) und anschließend dann allerdings *alle* Fenster auf dem (wieder aufgetauchten) primären Monitor. Letztlich muss man also jedesmal jene Fenster die eigentlich auf dem sekundären Monitor waren wieder neu dort hinschieben. Das gleiche Problem besteht auch beim manuellen aus- und einschalten des Monitors am Knopf.
Der Grund hierfür scheint bei der DisplayPort Hot Plug Detection (HPD) zu liegen, die wohl durchaus sinnvoll ist wenn man einen Monitor anschließt oder entfernt, aber eben nicht wenn er nur in den Standby geht oder ausgeschaltet wird. Bei HDMI oder DVI scheint die entsprechende Funktionalität generell weniger problematisch zu sein. Leider scheinen weder Monitorhersteller noch NVIDIA oder Microsoft das Problem ernst genug zu nehmen. Selbst wenn es laut der DP Spezifikation theoretisch korrekt funktioniert, wäre es als Anwender doch schön wenigstens eine Einstellung zu haben, um die HDP Events einfach zu ignorieren.
Zurück zum Viewsonic: Wie offenbar viele Monitore hat auch dieser das DP HPD Problem, allerdings etwas abgeschwächt. Beim automatischen "Monitor ausgeschaltet"-Sparmodus durch Windows ist alles ok. Wenn man den Monitor am Knopf aus- und einschaltet tritt das Problem auf, jedoch nicht, wenn Windows gleichzeitig in den automatischen "Monitor ausgeschaltet"-Sparmodus gegangen ist und man den Monitor einschaltet bevor Windows die Monitore aufwecken will (z.B. einschalten und dann erst Maus bewegen). Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass es in der Praxis mit dem LG sehr nervig war, mit dem Viewsonic geht es ganz gut.

It’s amazing and I couldn’t be happier. It took me a lot of research to find the right monitor, and when I came across this one I had to buy it. While this is very similar to the XG2402 the one thing that really drew me in was of course the RGB. I’m kidding. But it’s a definite plus. While this is a 144HZ monitor, it’s not 144HZ out the box. So don’t forget to change the setting once you set it up. I am satisfied with the viewing quality that it comes with out the box. It was not bad enough for me to adjust it off the bat. The built in speakers that come with it are pretty mediocre (very quiet) but sufficed until I found mine hiding in storage. It was better to “have it and not need it than to need it and not have it” as they say. My only nit pick would be the cable management clip that’s supposed to keep your cables in place. It could use some improvement but that’s something that if I wanted to could hide with a few zip ties. 10/10 Would buy again for a dual setup.
Update: I changed my mind. I don’t think I would purchase this for a duel set up since the bezel is quite thicck. Overall still love it
