After having a MESH network and finding the Hand Off really poor I decided to install 5 of these access points in our company, the setup was very simple but it does need a spare PC/Server that is always on to run the setup. I have had these running for a month now and you can walk around our huge warehouse and office area and never lose connection.
Some are mounted on walls others are on ceilings, the interface is great and easy to use and the devices looks the part. I cannot fault Ubiquiti and can highly recommend these AP's, works fine with all POE switches now.

These devices are superb. I’ve tried so many Witeless Access Points, meshes etc etc. Nothing beats the simplicity and reliability of UniFi products. Robust prosumer gear. I highly recommend these.

Have used other brands previously but nothing compares to ubiquiti products. Easy to install and setup. Recommended for those who want a great unified Wi-Fi signal

ich habe meinen Fritzbox Geräten immer Vertrauen geschenkt. Seit dem AVM 7270 von 3 Antennen auf die Flachen Antennen gewechselt sind, haben sich meine Werte verschlechtert. Bisher hatte ich die Devolo Dlan WLAN Geräte auch im Einsatz. Leider muss ich die immer wieder vom Strom trennen. Das war mir auf die Dauer nicht tragbar. Durch den Einbau der UAP Unifi WLAN habe ich diese Probleme nicht mehr. Für einen Laein wird die Einrichtung etwas schwierig gestalten, da die sprachliche Barriere (englisch) dazu kommt und Einstellungen technisch komplex sind. Ganzwichtig ist dabei zu beachten, in welchem Umfeld ihr die WLAN Geräte betreiben wollt. Es gibt verschiedene Modelle von Unifi WLAN Geräten. Die Lite Version ist das Einstiegsmodell. Die Pro Version ist eher für Fortgeschrittene in dem Bereich. Die neuen Modelle auch das Einstiegsmodell haben PoE (Power over Ethernet).

Mein Controller von Unifi wird auf einem QNAP betrieben, wodurch ich meine ganzen Einstellungen vornehmen kann. Selbstverständlich kann man durch den Unifi Controller die Einstellung auf dem QNAP sparen. Ich wollte aber nicht noch ein weiteres Gerät in Dauerbetrieb nehmen (Stromkosten, sind nicht viel, aber man spart ;)).

Bin mit den Ap's wirklich zufrieden, bei Nutzung mit dem zugehörigen POE-Switch von Ubiquity ist die Verwaltung über das Dashboard wirklich angenehm.
Von der Leistung bin ich positiv überrascht. Der von Vodafone für einen parallel laufenden Business-Hotpsot gelieferte AP ist von der Leistung her schlechte (allerdings besser in der Haltbarkeit mit einem Stahlkorpus). Schafft in einem Mehrfamilenhaus (Altbau) drei Stockwerke-ich hatte mit zwei gerechnet, und mich nicht gewundert, wenn es nicht einmal dazu gereicht hätte. Der obengenannte AP von Vodafone schafft nicht einmal ein Stockwerk....

Che dire... Ubiquiti non si smentisce mai! Questi AP sono di ottima fattura, consumano pochissimo e sono totalmente interfacciabili con il sistema Unifi che permette una loro totale configurazione da remoto, senza doverli più toccare dopo il montaggio. Ottima la potenza di trasmissione e la rete è stabile anche ai limiti del loro range.
Il pacco da 5 fa risparmiare qualcosina SOLO se si possiede uno switch/alimentatore POE, in quanto, a differenza dei pacchi singoli, NON include gli alimentatori POE.

I got this for a customer, and i installed it in a restaurant. They work very well and range is good.
I first powered on 2 downstairs and I could get signal upstairs through a concret floor. Not bad.

amazing product. just be aware of your other infrastructures- poe switches, firewalls etc. they will cause you more issues than the AP themselves.
for optimal setup, use UBIQUITI USG for firewall as well as UBIQUITI cloudkey for controlling the installation.

Les produits Ubiquiti sont vraiment sympa d'utilisation, après avoir équipé plusieurs appartements avec l'ancienne version je suis passée à celle-ci.
J'ai équipé en AP une maison secondaire avec des murs en briques. D'un mur à l'autre le wifi ne passe pas d'où la nécessité d'en avoir dans les principales pièces.
Je ne regrette pas, la portée est meilleure, il est plus compact et la lumière blanche et sympa (dans les lieux de passage ou l'ap est fixé ça peut même faire veilleuse de nuit...)
Je n'utilise pas la distribution du constructeur, dès qu'ils arrivent je remplace le firmware par un openwrt/lede. C'est nickel !
Par contre:
Il faut toujours une alimentation PoE passive, propriétaire, et donc s'équiper d'un routeur Ubiquiti... pas top.

Nulla da ridire sugli AP Ubiquiti già utilizzati più volte con ottime performance e stabilità. Ne tantomeno suula modalità di consegna del materiale da parte di Amazon.
Noi acquistiamo sempre i pack multipli per risparmiare qualcosa, dato che usiamo molti AP Ubiquiti ed era la prima volta di un acquisto di un pack multiplo di questo tipo di AP (AC Lite): le altre volte li avevamo comprati sempre nei pack singoli. Ora, a fronte di un risparmio di 5 Euro circa al pezzo, abbiamo scoperto che in questo pack multiplo non sono compresi gli alimentatori PoE (??) presenti in altri tipi di pack multipli o nei pack singoli, pertanto dobbiamo acquistare a parte ben 5 alimentatori PoE Ubiquiti per poter utilizzare gli AP....
Alla fine avrei risparmiato molto di più comprando 5 AP con pack singolo, piuttosto che il multi pack da 5: in effetti non si capisce a cosa serva un pack da 5 AP più caro di 5 pack singoli!
Non diamo la colpa a nessuno, l'errore è stato nostro nel non accorgerci di questa incongruenza nei prezzi...

appena montate , ricezione perfette le ho connesse a due sorgenti e sono facili da impostare

Comprati per distribuire la rete wireless nei nostri uffici, si comporta bene, lo usiamo per collegare pc con W10, W8, telefonii di varia natura ipad e quant'altro serve

Buon rapporto qualità estetica e prezzo

Conviene prendere quello singolo che a volte costa meno e ha l'alimentatore compreso, in questi sono esclusi e costa almeno 12/18 euro l'uno!

The 5 pack comes without any poe injector so you'll have to buy individual injectors or an appropriate poe switch (buy Ubiquiti's own poe switches as regular poe switches don't work.

Good for small businesses and private homes but they can't handle large numbers of concurrent connections. For enterprise numbers seek out Watchguard or Ruckus.
