- + Все чего ожидаешь от недорогого wifi-модуля здесь есть. На последние версии windows ставится автоматом без лишнего скачивания драйверов, коннект держит отлично. Насчет дальности не скажу, тестировал в «хрущевке»

I have been using this adapter for about three months now.Pros:- Small, but not tiny - sticks out about an inch from the side of my laptop.- Clean looking, goes extremely well with a shiny black laptop.- Was very easy to set up, operational in about 10 minutes.Cons:- Did not connect at the advertised 300mbps until the latest driver was downloaded and installed.- Connects fine, runs fine... and about three minutes later, stops. The LED keeps blinking, but there is no traffic at all.The quickest way I have found to recover from this is to yank the adapter out from the USB slot and reinsert it. A couple seconds later, it connects fine, runs fine... here we go again, rinse, repeat.My other laptop with its built-in wireless adapter connects and operates flawlessly at 300mbps, my smartphone and my tablet have no issues, my Roku has no issues, my wireless printer has no issues... so it not a problem with my home network setup. The laptop with this TP-LINK adapter is only about a year old, running Windows 7 (as is the other laptop). Both laptops are running the same antivirus software too. And this laptop holds a connection perfectly well if I take this adapter out and re-enable its own builtin wireless (802.11g) adapter.Buying this adapter was a waste of money.

Good luck getting Wireless N (802.11n) speeds, or even adequate 802.11g connectivity.I purchased these from a retail store with hopes that they would work adequately until I finished hard wiring my new apartment. These are garbage and have major connectivity issues with Wireless N routers. I tested it with 3 highly respected wireless n transmitters and against other 802.11b/g/n receivers and these adapters came out at the very bottom, with pathetic performance. It's a joke that they even advertise 154 Mbps speeds, when it struggles to even maintain 54Mbps speeds of older 802.11g hardware. These will never connect at 154 Mbps, and will rarely connect at 72 Mbps.Tested with the following 802.11b/g/n router/transmitter, at 25 feet distance with only one wall separating:Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 (dual N -won't even connectLinksys WRT160N with DDWRT firmware -poor reception, very low speed, drops outLinksys WRT400N with DDWRT firmware -poor reception, very low speed, drops outTo get these adapters to even work, I had to go to the adapter's driver properties and instruct it to operate only at 802.11 b/g mode. In that mode, it would finally connect to the wireless routers, which have zero problems with any of my other adapters (Intel Centrino N 1030, TrendNet Wireless N Card, Tmobile G2 phone, Airlink Wireless G card, Fat PS3 802.11g, Slim PS3 802.11g). Even though it connected, the TP-Link adapter's bandwidth was pathetic, barely able to maintain 700kb/s download speeds (I have 25/25 internet at home) and would constantly drop in speeds. The only way I was able to get decent speeds out of the TP-Link adapter was to again, go into advanced driver properties and change the Beacon Interval rate to 50ms instead of the default 100ms. Because of the faster beacon polling, it caused higher speeds, but also caused the adapter to get quite hot to the touch.Even with the hacking to get ok speeds, my other 802.11g devices could pull a faster download, with more walls and distance between it and the router. I tried all kinds of configuratons one the router and adapters to try and get these to work well, but they simply don't.These are unreliable at best. Look elsewhere.UPDATE 10/11/2011:I added one star and removed some hyperbole due to the manufacturer's attentive monitoring of customer feedback and proactive stance in addressing product concerns. Have yet to get these to work well, but will see how it goes after speaking with the manufacturer's technicians. Will update accordingly.

You get what you pay for. I've been installing network gear for years. This adapter couldn't find my router which is only 20 feet away. I installed the configuration software then tried the driver only installation. Has to be one the worst adapters I ever installed. This was on sale for only $9 at a retail store where I live. I guess they are trying to get rid of them. I reinstalled the previous adapter which is a better known brand for quality. To keep my review unbiased it's one of these brands - D-Link, Linksys, Netgear. Buying these off-brands are a waste of time. I took it back for a refund

I was using the Linksys AE2500 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter. My fios router is about 20ft away from the adapter so their is plenty of range for connection. The linksys adapter often lagged especially when I would watch online videos. It got to the point where I was really annoyed with the performance and losing patience. So on I went to do some research.Although there were not many reviews on the TP-Link, what sold me were the specs. The specs, on paper, seemed to outperform all of its competition. As a result, I decided to buy this adapter on a gut feeling more so than by reviews.So after taking the plunge, I immediately tested both products on speedtest.net. With the linkysis adapter I was getting 22.90 mb/s download speed and 20.06 mb/s upload speed. Whereas the TL gave me 28.33 mb/s download speed and 24.86 mb/s upload speed. Most importantly, I am not getting any lags like I used to and I can actually watch Youtube videos at 1080p - instantly!If you buy based on my review, you can thank me later :)

I have this adapter for my PC that is hooked up to our living room TV, downstairs and about 50 feet from my wireless router in my upstairs office. I previously had a 150Mbps adapter, and this BLOWS IT AWAY as far as connection strength and reliability!! Highly recommend this adapter, and I'm about to purchase a few more for our laptops!

I'm surprised how slim and small this USB network device is. It was easy to install, got things running in less than 2 minutes. It holds a good signal strength. For the price, it has great value. I have it 40-50 feet away from my router and connection is fine. I'm surprised by other reviews.

I paid ?20 for this, and guess what? It didn't even work. I tried all the solutions but it just wouldn't connect to anything. Good job TP-Link.

The 822 is much stronger (and better overall, hardware version V2), but also bulky. It also connects a bit faster to the network.Anyway, 180mbps is good enough for such a small adapter, it's not that there're better options out there at this size & price.

I bought a couple of these to support Raspberry Pi. They came right up. (Recommend a powered hub as the Pi can't source more than about 100 mA of power on the USB ports, combined.)

A couple of years ago I had purchased a used laptop off eBay for my stepdaughter. A few months ago the built-in wi-fi adapter stopped working. This seemed like a reasonable and inexpensive solution to get an 8 year old Dell laptop to connect to our Wireless-G network at home. After almost an hour and a half I got this thing configured to connect to our wi-fi network with WEP security on our Linksys wireless G router. I'm just happy the old Dell laptop now connects to the internet so my wife can have her "nice" Dell laptop back, which my darling stepdaughter has been monopolizing of late.

Unlike TP's other wireless adapters on the market that have been used by technical professionals far and wide with great success, this adapter falls extremely short. Constant connection and speed issues on my dlink dir 655. I have verified it is the adapter by testing wireless from 4 other devices.The device performs well when first connected to the computer but the performance trails off very quickly, sometimes in a matter of 30 minutes.I am not going to bother writing anymore, the previous reviewer has told you everything you need to know and their review is spot on. Stay clear, get a different TP-link wireless adapter.

I purchase this to have in place of the Ethernet cable which I plugged directly from my PC to the flat screen TV. The problem is, before I did this my download speed was around 22 mpbs and afterwards it dropped to about 10 mbps. All this with a High Speed internet service.Not what I expected. It's now on the shelf collecting dust after 1 day.
