Bought the radio for use in the garage. So I haven't had the chance to try the bands for shortwave listening. I tuned to a local FM station and the audio is connected to powered speakers and the sound quality is great. It meets my expectations for a great price.

this is an important addition to your emergency kit. this is a good quality radio with good reception. i am surprised how many shortwave stations i can receive from my home in northern virginia. battery life has been good so far.

The Tecsun PL-310ET is a strong performer on the AM, FM and Shortwave bands. Good sensitivity and selectivity on all bands with its digital display. This is a solid radio with additional clock, alarm and even temperature displays. Tecsun makes quality radios.

Radio performs well on all bands but SW is slim these days. AM too in my area. FM still rocks. Performs close to the more expensive portables at half the cost. Sweet.

this dam thing is ay to comlicated to operate , first u have to download from a disc a real headache i found a better one from a fiend , then u have to insert a tape in the cassete player no problem then u have to start it and start the computer and push buttons in a specific order, , not for a computer novice such as me for some a piece of cake , not as easy as the add or the instructions indicate had i known i would have passed, its all bs

Not a bad budget friendly radio for shortwave beginners. It can pick up SW stations decently although using ETS is kinda confusing if you don't have the manual handy. It's also not that good picking up AM/MW stations, which is where my CCrane Skywave radio has it beat. Otherwise, as I said, if you want to dip your toes in the SW pool, I recommend this.

Like everything about the radio except, the light turns every time you touch a control...this decreases the battery life...the light should be on a separate button.....

AdemΓ‘s de tener un adaptador micho usb muy antiguo, el usado por los dispositivos hace mas de 10 aΓ±os y casi no lo logro conseguir, la baterΓa no me recibiΓ³ carga por mas que lo deje toda una noche. es decir la baterΓa estΓ‘ daΓ±ada.

It's great! I use it all the time! I've found some good radio stations I listen to and have actually started listening to AM on occasion. It holds a battery charge very well.

This is one amazing little radio. Not much bigger than a 3x5 card, it offers great reception and a full feature set. Extra points for showing signal strength in dB S/N ratio. Iβm pretty picky, and I find no faults here. No wonder the Japanese electronics giants have abandoned this market. Tecsun is very, very good.

Love this radio. It picks up more shortwave stations than my Tecsun pl-660. I really love this radio. Very impressed of it's performance for it's size. Also I lightly tugged on the tuning knob, and it did not come off. Seems pretty secure to me. So don't know why a lot of people complain the tuning knob falls off. Mine don't
