If you're looking for a compact and sturdy radio, look no further than this little machine. It's travelled with me from Canada to Australia, Borneo and many other islands. The shortwave capabilities of this radio are very good. The only minor complaint is that the speaker is a little "tinny" but otherwise, I have no regrets.

Good speaker and excellent station selection and range. Weak stations are clearer than any other radio I own. Battery consumption is slightly higher than anticipated.

nice features for a reasonable price , external antenna is an excellent option with this achieves a better reception in all sw band, is a bit sensitive to noise so it is necessary to be located away from equipment that generates interference , in general terms is a good product , if you like shortwave radio and need a portable radio this is a good option . The auto tunnig functions are very useful when you go travel . The FM has excellent reception , clear sound !

Wasted money, it doesn't works except FM, MW and other bands nothing, I can receive roughly 3 stations in MW (AM), I don't know how people out there are assaulting Amazon clients this way.

Mine came with an English manual instead of Chinese which I was worried about. I still got a Chinese box. Great carrying case with interior pocket for manual. Better than expected headphones. Not great but way better than expected. I'll keep them in the case for future use. Speaker is very nice. Decent bass, enough for voice but not music. But it's not meant for that of course. Plugged in the sangean ant 60 antenna. Goes from grainy in some cases to clear.
