hello,
having owned several types of chargers for batteries, this one was the fastest and most complete kit around. the panasonic camera charger was simplicity and made charging easy. this charger for the sony is simple, has a car adapter, and came with two extra batteries. now, that is top notch. our camera will never be without a full charge battery. outstanding product and delivery.

I liked this product but the one that i received had a little scratch that sometimes is kind of annoying but it do protect the camera's screen

This camera Features the perfect combination for street Photography a full frame sensor and a 35mm F2 lens. This camera takes amazing Ansel Adams type photos. It is great for taking pictures of people and scenary. Great for nature photos. Has a telephoto mode so you can digitally zoom also. Also has APS Crop mode which is nice at times when you can't get too close. The pictures this takes are fantastic. They also have a nice viewfinder attachment which is nice. This camera is not for everybody because of the $2799 price tag but if photography is your passion it is worth it's price.Images are fantastic my favorite camera. I rented it before I bought it thought it was fantastic so wound up buying it.

The RX 1 has a small battery. A back up is a must. Charger works well. Sony batteries last longer, but these are still useful.

I've owned a Nikon DSLR for years (D700) - it was a superb camera and produced stunning results ... when I had it with me, which wasn't often enough due to the weight and bulk of the body, and set of 4 Nikkor prime lenses I had.
I wanted something small and light, without compromising on image quality. If you can compromise on lens interchangeability (I could, I'm used to primes), and if you can deal with not having quite the autofocus ability of an SLR, then this little camera is amazing.
I purchased mine from Andorama with some bundled accessories via Amazon, including the EVF. The EVF is every bit as good as the reviews online suggest.
In summary:
- the autofocus cannot compete with a DSLR, but isn't nearly as bad as some of the ranting reviews make out,
- the fixed lens is good for 90% of the shots I take,
- the image quality is amazing (the sony sensor and Zeiss lens are as good as you'll find in/on any DSLR),
- the video quality is great,
- and the camera is capable of producing images that are as good as any full frame offering out there, but in a package that will make your back heave a sigh of relief.
(I also for the first time have a camera that can produce high quality stills and video when I'm hiking and paragliding.)

I've owned this camera for about a week now, and I am very happy with it, despite the steep price tag. I also own a Canon 5D Mark III; The RX1 is a great alternative if you don't want to break your back carrying your heavy DSLR & lenses.
Obviously, the fixed lens and the hefty price tag are major issues. And being that this is Sony's first try at the compact full-frame market, I'm sure they will release an interchangeable version in a couple of years. With that said, if you have the money to throw around, then I would recommend this camera wholeheartedly. The image quality (especially in low light conditions) is simply amazing! Just understand that since this is a 35mm fixed lens, the use for this camera is somewhat limited. However, I still would give this 5 stars, because it is still a darn good camera, especially for its compact size.
So bottom line, if you have to break the piggy bank to purchase this camera, this camera is probably not for you. If you're a pro or an avid photographer, understand its limitations, and won't go bankrupt by purchasing this camera, then I say put it in your cart and purchase!

This is a very good screen protector, and probably the same one that other members are selling for around twice the price. It feels exactly the same as the stock Sony version except without the brand written on the bottom. The protector is very easy to apply, as there is only adhesive on the black frame, while the center has no adhesive and remains suspended above the screen, thus eliminating the possibility of bubbles.

I bought this package for my Sony DSC-HX300 camera. The price on this package was unbelievable. Now I have a charger at home and for my car, and 2 batteries. I still can't believe the price. Both batteries work very well and last good enough after being charged.

I've been shooting the RX1 for a day now since it arrived and have been looking for a reason to send it back.
I sold my Nikon D700 and lenses simply due to size and weight as I travel a lot for work and this is a hobby.
I made the change to the Fuji X-Pro1 and picked up the primes they had available and loved the quality of the jpegs and the lighter smaller overall kit.
But then that started to feel bulky so in came the X100 which is a great camera no matter if it is your only camera or one of many.
Then the X-E1 showed up roughly the same size as the X100 but with guts of the X-Pro1 minus the OVF.
Then I realized I had simply traded my huge Nikon kit for a somewhat smaller one that came with many trade-offs you'll know all about if you are a Fuji-shooter.
Then this piece of insanity got announced and I couldn't stop thinking about having basically a D600 sensor in a camera smaller than my X100.
So it showed up yesterday and I have been walking around the house and yard with the X-E1 with the 35mm 1.4 and the RX1 taking the same pictures in the same mode and comparing them.
There is simply no comparison.
No need to zoom in or 'pixel-peep' to see the difference that a FF sensor brings.
Every picture is just so much richer.
Depending on your point of view, it is either a bargain or over-priced.
For me it is definitely not going back while my Fuji-kit now moves on to ebay.
This is a Leica M with AF in an even smaller package at a 1/4 the cost of an M with a 35mm lens.
This is the camera I wanted all along.
Can't wait for the case and EVF now.

It's a perfect fit for my canon power shot S110 plus space for spare battery or memory card. Not much space for anything else. Exactly what I wanted though. Be careful what colour you order because the bag design seems to change and looks much bigger in certain colours.

I am extremely happy and impressed with this camera and the all around performance. I bought it for what it is, a great walk around camera. I recommend it. My only disappointment is how Sony overcharges for the accessories for this camera and that is a pricing strategy that does not subtract from this product.

I am impressed with the product and the value. The "off-brand" Bower batteries are actually rated at 1800 mAh in comparison to the 1240 mAh rating of the Sony branded battery. That is nearly 50% higher capacity. Does the charge last longer? My experience is that the charge lasts significantly longer. The charger itself is certainly not "of lower quality" as another post here suggests. I'm not sure what charger it is being compared to as so far, no one has seen a Sony charger for this battery. It charges from "empty" to full charge in about 1-1/2 hours. It also comes with an adapter for your car's power outlets and a European-style receptacle adapter. I have not tried either, but will see how well the charger works in a car. Being able to charge a spare battery in a car is a huge plus for people on the move. This same charger can be purchased for as little as $4.75 elsewhere by itself, and the batteries at $8.80. That compares favorably with the price of the kit here. The Sony brand batteries are list priced at $49.95 although you can get them for as little as around $32 on line. But that is still nearly four times as much for a battery that has less capacity. Yes, they are Chinese manufactured just as the DSC-RX100 is, and just as the OEM battery is.
If is certainly possible that the OEM battery has a longer useful life, but the Bower battery has a 5-year guaranty. If the battery lasts 1/5 that long in daily use I will be happy--after all, they are a consumable. The camera itself has a 1-year guaranty and it is not "consumable."
In summary, no one should avoid these products because they do not carry the Sony brand. They are well built and represent a solid value. I will not be buying a Sony battery at four times the price when I can obtain a product that is certainly worth more than 1/4 the price of OEM batteries.

Batteries charge in about 3-4 hours. You can hook it up to either an outlet or your car. Have extra batteries is essential for your camera. I think this product has met my needs and I recommend it to anyone buying a Sony camera.

I've had the RX1 for 2 weeks and here are my thoughts. I am not a pro but I love photography and cameras.. I currently have a D800, 70-200 VR2, 28-300, 50 mm 1.8, and SB-800 flash. What I am discovering is that I am tired of lugging all this gear around. Yes I love photography but I want to travel without the back ache. I have spent so much time trying to fine tune my lenses, sending my D800 in for the left AF issue which still isn't perfect in my opinion. I picked up the sony RX100 a month ago and am amazed at what this cam can do. I can strap it on my side and take it everywhere. The video is amazing and the Carl Zeiss lens can do macro and shallow DOF shots at 28 mm. The ISO is not bad for such a small cam. I like the rx100 so much I dropped 3k on the RX1. As with the RX100 the white balance is perfect. What I gain is extreme sharpness at every ISO/Aperture. The bokeh is better then any of my Nikon gear. At f2 the lens is tack sharp. The camera is built like a fine swiss watch. Everything lines up perfectly. I picked up the Gordy strap and BW 007 filter. Now for the down side. I can't track and focus on F18s flying over my roof. I can't seem to get a tack sharp shot of a kids running at me with a football. My cat will not sit still at times but even with my D800 on AF-C it was a challenge. Sorry for the sarcasm but this camera fits the bill. It forces me to think. Im not an action photographer. If you are then look elsewhere.

The batteries work as advertised. I took my NEX camera to the Southwest and was pleasantly surprised to havea lot of juice and the charger was able to charge the batteries quicker than normal. There are two fangs to hold the battery better that can get broken easily, but I fixed that by storing one of the spare batteries with the charger. Great product and I was able to charge in the car.

The batteries last longer than the OEM ones that came with my Sony RX-100. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. I would purchase them again. There is nothing cheap in regard to their look, feel or performance.

I have used one of these batteries over the last few weeks and it takes a charge and works fine. However, they do not last nearly as long as the original battery that came with the camera (Sony HX300). The original battery is rated at 1250 Mah and I was able to take about 440 photos before the battery was getting low. On these, I get about 180. The label on the battery states these are 1700 Mah cells, but they are more than likely around 600 or 700. The batteries I received also had no brand name on them and they were not like the ones in the photo. Taking everything into consideration, for $17.00 for two, including an external charger, you cannot expect too much. Still a better value than paying $50.00 for the Sony cell. If these batteries crap out in a few months though, I may change my tone!!
