He podido comparar este Sigma con el Sony 50mm 1.8 (que sería su principal rival).
Las imágenes són crops del 100% (Sony a la izquierda, el Sigma la imagen de la derecha).
Personalmente creo que lo gana en casi todo. Salvo en el precio, ya que el Sony cuesta un 40% menos.
Pros:
- Calidad absolutamente increíble (Se aprecia en las imágenes. Enfocando a objetivos muy lejanos ya sí el Sony lo iguala).
- Aberraciones cromáticas inexistentes (Se aprecia muy bien en las imágenes 3 y 4).
- Diseño bastante compacto (aunque no tan liviano comparado con el Sony).
Contras:
- No tiene OSS
- En situaciones de contraluz a veces aparece un haz de luz.
Conclusiones: Es un objetivo brutal en cuanto a calidad de imagen. Es decir, es un TOP a precio de gama media. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque tengo la a6000 y me hubiera encantado que llevara OSS y por los pequeños haces de luz que aparecen a veces (me ha sucedido 2 o 3 veces solamente).

I bought this lens off the back of buying the 30mm DC DN one for my 6300. All I can say is it’s fabulous. As sharp - if not sharper - than the 30mm and excellent in low light. 56mm on an APS-C sensor camera equates to 84mm on full frame - so this is a perfect portrait lens. Bokeh is creamy and the image is so bright. Only issue for me is that the 56mm is not automatically detected by Lightroom when processing the RAW files ... there is a Sigma 56mm DC DN profile available in LR but you have to manually select it. Hopefully this will get sorted in LR. As mentioned above, no OSS so need a gimbal if you are into video ... or keep arms extra steady. It's not too bad without OSS though.

For the money(~£400) this is a fantastic lens. I've owned the sigma 30mm, Sony 18-70mm, and Sony 35mm alongside the stock lens.
For photography on an a6300 this lens is as sharp as the 30mm,whilst being smaller and more portable. Auto focus is almost as fast as a Sony lens and certainly never an issue.
For video, OSS helps significantly in my experience, but the image quality is still fantastic,i imagine this would be even better on an A6500.
Overall this is a great portrait lens and strongly recommended on a apsc lens.

This is my first autofocus prime lense for my a6000. It's a great lense and gives a superfine image quality.
- It gives a crispy image with a creamy Bokheh.
-The lenght of the lense is approximately double of the kit lense and weighs around 300 grams .
- It also comes with a nice lense hood which perfectly matches the need.
- Only downside I've experienced is that it doesn't have a optical age stabilization but can be managed unless you have really a shaky hand.
- Definitely one of the essentials for sony 6Ks and highly recommended.

This is my first dalliance into the world of fixed focal length prime lenses. Purchased for my A6000 mirrorless camera. It is great quality. Metal body with a large rubber focus ring which is very tactile. Paired it with the Gobe NDX filter. Cannot wait to take this to Paris and see what I can capture.

Mein Objektiv ist heute angekommen und ich bin extrem begeistert. Ich verwende sie mit meiner SONY A6000 und sie holt einfach das allerbeste aus der Kamera raus. Sie ist toll für Portraits und Detailfotos. Ich hänge einige meiner unbearbeiteten Testfotos an. Ich kann es kaum abwarten die Kamera für meine Portrait- und Paarshootings zu verwenden! ♥️

bei den ganzen positiven Rezensionen mag man ja kaum was negatives schreiben, aber hier mal mein Eindruck. Ich habe mittlerweile meinen kompletten Nikon DSLR Fuhrpark verkauft und fotografiere mittlerweile nur noch mit der A6000. Für meine bescheidenen Verhältnisse ist das ausreichend und leider ist die Zeit zum Fotografieren auch sehr knapp geworden.
Momentan im Einsatz sind lediglich das kit Objektiv, sowie ein Sigma 30mm 2.8. Gerade von letzterem war ich so begeistert, dass ich mir dachte das 56mm 1.4 muss mich ja dann komplett umhauen...
Genau das war eben nicht der Fall. Ich habe das Objektiv anfangs bei eher schwachem Licht getestet und fand weder den AF besonders schnell oder treffsicher, noch hat mich die Bildqualität überzeugt. Für das Geld wollte ich aber ein Objektiv haben was gerade bei low light noch gut abliefert und keine Schönwetter Linse. Die hab ich schon mit dem 30mm ;-) Evtl. hätte ich dem ganzen noch etwas mehr Zeit geben sollen und noch ein paar Wochen länger testen, mit unterschiedlichem Licht. Für mich war es eher ein Bauchentscheidung. Bei diesem Preis möchte ich die Linse auspacken und gleich sagen können, das ist es! Evtl. war es auch ein Montagsmodel, wer weiß.
Für mich persönlich hat es hier einfach nicht gepasst.

Es ist einfach fenominal! Gestochen scharfe Bilder und Videos. Sigma 16 mm 1.4 fast genau so scharf wie 56 mm. Füll HD Aufnahme wirkt wie 4K (quasi). Gibt's Gefühl, dass die Bilder mit Vollormat Kamera aufgenommen wurden. Autofokus ist sehr schnell und Zieltreffend (gepaart mit Alpha 6500). Bravo Sigma, weiter so!!! Einzigste was mir nicht gefällt, dass die Farbedarstellung nicht so schön ist wie bei Zeiss Objektive. Aber mit Photoshop kann man leicht nachverbessern....Danke Sigma!!!

Tengo el 16mm y este 56mm y si bien cada uno tiene lo suyo este sin duda ha sido mi favorito por mucho, pues todo depende de el tipo de fotografia que te guste hacer.
Me he dado cuenta que las mejores fotografias y videos que he tomado han sido gracias a estos lentes.
Son super nitidos tanto que con buena luz asustan las imperfecciónes de la piel en las personas.
El autoenfoque es bueno mas no igual a un lente nativo de sony, si hacen un ligero sonido pero nada grabe, incluso podria jurar que gastan mas bateria que los lentes de sony.
Pero por la calidad del lente olvidas esas cosas con facilidad. Yo los uso con la a6600 y funcionan a la perfección dado que la camara ya tiene estabilizador integrado, que no es el mejor pero ayuda bastante y mas con estos lentes.
La separación que logras hace que las fotos y videos se vean magicas.
Si no sabes cual escoger no importa, no creo que te decepcione ninguno, solo piensa en que tipo de fotografía quieres hacer.

Sehr gutes Objektiv, meiner Meinung nach sogar das beste Portraitobjektiv was es für die Sony APS-Cs derzeit gibt, nicht nur wegen dem Preis, sondern auch wegen der Qualität des Objektivs und der Bilder.

Muy buen producto, pésimo vendedor
Es un muy buen lentes nitidez perfecta ñ, enfoque automático rápido y simplemente bellísimo. No tiene estabilización óptica. Mi único gran problema es que llegó pesimamente empacado y el vendedor lo mando en un sobre, si, un lente de más de 5mil pesos en un SOBRE.

EXCELENTE OPCIÓN AÚN PARA CÁMARAS FULL FRAME
Recién compre el Sigma 16mm F1.4 E Mount que originalmente iba a usar en una A6500, al final compré una A7Rii y en modo crop funciona perfecto, súper nítido y excelente para fotos con baja luz. Genera un bokeh bárbaro y en cámaras con sensor estabilizado es una belleza el material que se obtiene de él. También la calidad del objetivo es muy buena, y el auto focus funciona casi igual de rápido que en lentes nativos, sino es que igual. Muy recomendable!

¡Mejor imposible!
ENVIO: Proceso de compra rápido, hay que tomar en cuenta que al ser productos importados tardan más en llegar, en mi caso me llego por correos de México (Guadalajara) con un cargo de aduana de aprox $2000, para que lo consideren, vale la pena.
El lentes es genial, luminoso y de gran calidad, resistente y bonito, lo uso con mi Sony a6500 y con una Sony FS7, me permite todos los modos de enfoque (en modo M) al poner en modo película te permite enfoque manual y enfoque automático continuo, además es increíblemente nítido, sin dudas lo recomiendo.
El lentes es genial, luminoso y de gran calidad, resistente y bonito, lo uso con mi Sony a6500 y con una Sony FS7, me permite todos los modos de enfoque (en modo M) al poner en modo película te permite enfoque manual y enfoque automático continuo, además es increíblemente nítido, sin dudas lo recomiendo.

Excepcional lente
No duden en comprarlo, prácticamente no tiene competencia con ninguna marca, angular 16mm (24mm full frame), apertura de 1.4, nítidez excelente, enfoque muy cercano y precio contenido son motivos de sobra para adquirirlo. El único detalle es que lo envían en un sobre y llegó maltratada la caja original, nada que hiciera devolverlo pero se agradece que venga más protegido siendo un producto de casi 10 mil pesos mexicanos. Por todo lo demás Sigma hizo un increíble trabajo con estos lentes 16mm, 30mm y 56mm.

Un lente "gran angular" de excelente calidad/precio
Es mi segundo lente de la serie C y estoy encantando, excelente calidad, nitidez.
El lente es grande y pesado, en comparación con el 56mm, pero vale la pena para capturar mucho campo de visión a corta distancia o para paisajes, la apertura da unos bokeh maravillosos... al ser un objetivo fijo la calidad y nitidez son increíbles, pero al mismo tiempo le quita versatilidad!!
Un objetivo que debes de tener
El lente es grande y pesado, en comparación con el 56mm, pero vale la pena para capturar mucho campo de visión a corta distancia o para paisajes, la apertura da unos bokeh maravillosos... al ser un objetivo fijo la calidad y nitidez son increíbles, pero al mismo tiempo le quita versatilidad!!
