I just received PC 26, and decided within five minutes that I'm sending it back. First, its construction is awfully flimsy and plasticy. Someone here mentioned that they liked it flimsy as it was loose and thus easy to wear for extended period of time. But the over-head band feels too short, and as it is unadjustable it is uncomfortable.However, the fatal flaw is that this is a *left-sided* headset only! I wrongly assumed that the mic boom would rotate around for either right or left sided use, but it does not. I always use my headsets on the right side as it feels odd to use the headset on the left side (I suppose I'm right-eared). In any case, I'm going to look for a better quality, right-sided headset for use with Skype, and will return this one to Amazon.

I had bounced around to many different headsets before I finally found this one. It is perfect for my needs. After struggling with configuration issues using Bluetooth and micro jack headsets, this Sennheiser USB headset is a dream! My goal was to find a solution that would allow me to put chat audio in my ear piece while still allowing game audio to go through my main speakers (as it does on my Xbox 360). The USB interface sound card makes this incredibly easy. The sound quality is fantastic both sending and receiving. Mute and volume controls are nice on the ample cord. The headset is a light plastic, but it fits nicely and wears comfortably for hours. You won't find a better monaural headset. Sennheiser is quality and I love this product.

I've always liked Sennheiser sound. Needing another usb headset for Skype and PS3 I jumped on this. Unfortunately, it is not nearly loud enough. I did not know that usb audio devices could have different final amplification levels. I'm returning it for something with shoddy but loud output.

I have owned several Sennheiser stereo headphones over the years, and have always found their sound quality and wearing comfort excellent. This USB headset follows in the same tradition: solid construction, fine sound from the (monaural) earphone, good mic with perfectly fine dynamic range. I have used it with Skype with no problems so far - it is recognized by brand in the control panel under Windows 7. No complaints.

This would be a very good product if the microphone was louder. I really liked the in-line switch that allowed you to mute the microphone. It saved a lot of time from having to click a button on the softphone. Not sure why the microphone doesn't pick up as well as others had seen it. Running it using Avaya Softphone on Windows 7 64-bit as well as Windows XP. Microphone pick-up was not loud enough on either operating system. Ended up replacing this with a Plantronics model, that while it doesn't have an in-line mute, has a much better microphone.

I bought this as a back up to my more expensive Plantronics digital USB headset and guess what, this one is better. Lighter, easier to travel with but most important, noticeably more accurate when doing dictation with Dragon and people are telling me that VOIP calls sound like a land line.

Sennheiser has a reasonably good reputation for its stereo headphones, which makes the extremely poor quality of this headset really surprising. They should be ashamed. This is a poorly designed, incredibly uncomfortable headset to wear. It's not even worth one star -- stay away.

This a basic headset for dictation or phone use. It is not comfortable and poorly adjustable for comfort. The electronics seem more than adequate for dictation with Dragon Naturally Speaking.

The one I received did not work. Sent back no problems with return which helps build confidence in amazon.com purchases. I gave 3 stars benefit of the doubt that it would be a good product if not defective.

The pictures of this item are wrong and doesn't do the headset justice. I am writing this because I am pleasantly surprised by what I received. The PC 26 headset is much better than the one they picture here. It has a solid USB plug that lights up blue on connection, a volume control on mute switch that is in the cord, has a flexible mic that can be moved closer to your mouth, great noise canceling and sound is crisp. I bought this because I have purchased Sennheiser before and haven't been disappointed. This is a great headset if you want only one earpiece. Stoked it's much better than I thought.

I have rarely been disappointed with Sennheiser products and absolutely love this headset - my company recently switched to VOIP and I needed a headset for traveling.Pros:Light and comfortableExcellent sound quality - not quite as good as the HD-650s that I have but hey - 5% of the cost.One Sided so I can still function normally - also a slight con see belowFlawless installation on Vista and Win 7Love the fact that this is both USB and 3.5 jacksThin Cord - I can barely tell it is there - also a con see belowEven worked on my modded PS3Cons:One sided so it does not block out the outside noise but that is the reason I bought it so I can still hear what is going on with my teamThin cord - has gotten caught twice in my CD tray and this has caused a pinch in it but no issues with the pinchMicrophone is extremely loud and picks up EVERYTHING including sound from an office three doors down through closed doors that I cant even hear - I keep having to lower the volume / sensitivity in every program such as VIOP and Adobe Connect and SkypeOverall I am very pleased with the headset - exactly what I wanted.

Sounds Great.Very Comfortable.BUT - One snapped as I was slightly stretching it open to put over my head -- product it is a bit flimsy. Amazon exchanged it for a new one. I am being much more careful with the new one.But as long as it does not snap, I like it flimsy. I can wear it all day. VERY lightweight and comfortable.

I got this for VOIP and conferencing. The sound is good for that. Not really usable for music though or for anything critical. Limited adjustability of the headset can be a problem. The boom mic also has limited adjustability and the fixed distance of the mic from the mouth can be a problem in very noisy environments as can the lack of isolation especially as this only is a single ear phone design.Over all pretty good particularly for the money.
