- Сильный нагрев (в простое 45 - 48 градусов, под нагрузкой 50 - 58 градусов)

Жёсткому диску почти 2,5 года. В начале 2013 года ноутбук стал сильно тормозить при загрузке Windows и при скачивании торрентов из локальной сети (всё время показывает, что диск перегружен). После проверки оказалось, что у 90% секторов скорость чтения 10 - 20 Мб/с. Также SMART указал на 1 сбойный сектор, который в будущем превратится в битый. Выдержал много трясок, особенно 2 падения. G-sensor диска показывает 900 ошибок.

- Ну только нагрев, если идёт речь про ноутбук.

Никакого жёсткого диска лучше пока не видел, уже работает 6002 часа (работает с августа 2010), выдерживает сильные тряски, правда 706 ошибок из-за неё. За 2 года не появилось ни одного битого сектора! Жёсткий диск поставлялся вместе с ноутбуком ASUS K42Jc. Иногда жёсткий диск нагревается до 56 градусов, а это уже не мало. SMART на этот жёсткий диск не ругается, даже после падения ноутбука. 27 октября ноутбук упал (с высоты 1,5 м.), думал жёсткий диск сломается, а оказывается нет!

Использую два данных диска в неттопе.
На текущий момент пробег дисков:
1 диск - начало работы декабрь 2009 и 5359 часов.
2 диск - начало работы август 2010 и 4693 часа.
Пока работают как часики, шумов нет, температура держится в пределах 35С-40С, смарт не предвещает ничего плохого. Один из дисков некоторое время использовался как внешний в результате G-sensor сработал более 8000 раз. Свой гарантийный срок отработали. Заслуживают оценки 5 баллов.

+ Про достоинства не буду, т.к. диск средненький и ничего особенного в нем нет.
- Абсолютно не дружит с процессорами от интел. Он не понимает или неправильно понимает команды, в результате чего ноут постоянно будет подвисать с ошибкой - Устройство \Device\Ide\iaStor0 не отвечает в течение интервала ожидания.

Прежде чем купить ноут, обратите внимание на проц и жесткий. Если увидите вышеуказанное сочетание, то хорошенько подумайте перед покупкой. Не думаю, что в ближайшее время проблему устранят. На форумах можете погуглить по коду ошибки и посмотреть - какой диск установлен и вызывает данную проблему.

- При первой возможности греется до 55-60°С. Начинает свистеть, хрюкать и подвешивать систему.

В качестве рабочего харда для ноута отвратителен, т.к. мало где есть адекватная система...

No Compatibility Issues At All. As With Some Of The Customers On Here Who Purchased This HDD, I Totally Agree With Them. Get This Seagate 320GB Hard Drive If You Want The Extra Space For Your Games, Videos, Music, Movies and Photos You May Have. This 320GB HDD Replace My Old 80GB HDD.If You Want A Smooth Transition From Your Old PS3 HDD To A Larger 320GB HDD, Just Follow These Simple Steps:First, Make Sure You Have An External Hard Drive That Is Large Enough To Backup and Store Your Old Data From Your Old PS3 HDD. Mine Was An 80GB HDD From My PS3. On Your Playstation 3 Settings Menu, Look For The Application That Says: System Settings. Next, Look For The One That Says: Backup Utility. I had a nice laptop that had been sitting idle (actually dead) on the shelf due to a dead drive and eventually a dead battery. Wound up buying a new battery and this replacement drive. Both items arrived on the same day. Charged the battery. Added the new drive and fired it up. Reinstalled the OS and now I've got a brand new laptop that's up and running like new.Internal laptop drive replacement is a simple chore and well worth the money to bring a dead laptop to life, especially if you really like the laptop. This drive installed quickly and is currently up and running every day.

I had been wanting to upgrade my PS3 for some time as I was quickly running out of space on my old 80gb hard drive. 320gb sounded like more then enough space for my purposes, and the price was very low compared to the in-store versions. Installation went smoothly, and was much eisier then I had anticipated. Great to have more hard drive space, and it runs well and quietly as well! I could not be happier with my purchase!

I got this hard drive to replace the 80gig i had in my Playstation 3. It fit right and works great so far. This is a great way to save yourself the frusterations of having to keep deleting and re-installing game data on the older Playstations with smaller HDDs. A must have for anyone looking to increase storage space with out breaking the bank.

I couldn't believe how quickly the item arrived. The price was incredibly cheap. I needed this drive to replace one that was failing. I copied the info from the old drive to the new and came up on the new drive. No problems. This was a great buy.

This works well with a PS3. It is 5400 RPM, so the PS3 will not overheat.It fits great, works fine, and I think the PS3 actually runs smoother than the old 40 gig hard drive it came with.Any doubts, hit me up. Thank you Seagate for such a great product!

About 2 weeks ago I changed a tiny, tiny setting on our home wifi network. Apparently in a remarkably coincidental happenstance a tiny file was written to a bad sector on my Seagate Momentus hard drive. This caused my computer's Power configuration to go haywire and disable my wifi adapter every time it went into sleep/hibernate.I did not know that my hard drive had a problem, it was obvious to me that the network change caused the problem; I changed something with the networking, the wifi adapter went fubar, ergo the networking is at fault.No amount of installing new drivers, reinstalling software or pleading with the DOS and Windows gods had any effect. I had run chkdsk a couple times, no errors found until someone suggested I should run it with the /r option.After 10 days of fruitless dead ends the real problem was found. The relevant file was recovered and written to a working sector on the drive. My Sleep/Hibernate functions were working, wifi was enabled when the computer resumed. I then downloaded Seagate's SeaTools disk utility which failed to even complete testing, recommending that I run the DOS version, in the hope that it might be able to repair the problems.Long story short it worked- kinda. SeaTools suggested that the drive should be checked at regular intervals as the drive MIGHT be failing. No duh...This is the 2nd Seagate Momentus drive I have had fail in 1.5 years, the first fried its electronics in my old notebook (it was 2 years old), this one was 1 year and 3 months old (came with the new notebook, I did not realize it came with a Seagate drive).The next time I buy a notebook I will be looking at speed, performance, weight... and hard drive manufacturer. If it is a Seagate I will buy anything else.
