Worst amazon service & fake phone
Delivered fake phone, when gave return requests or complaints amazon blocked calling option, they probably won't post this review too.. phone takes half day to charge 100% and drains in 2 hours without much use.. Netflix is not compatible to download, most of the basic apps crashes on use I AM A PRIME MEMBER & THIS IS WORST SERVICE GIVEN BY AMAZON AND SELLER .. I AM GONNA CASE ON THIS IN CONSUMER FORM .. WILL NOT LEAVE THIS ISSUE.. ATLEAST NO OPTION TO RETURN

I am writing this review after usage of 7 days i really fell in love with this one

Performance is awesome
Ram mangement is good
Good flagship processor
Amazing camera
Fast charging working very well
Good in box earphones
Cons
Battery charges fast and drains also fast but overall it lasts for a day use no need to worry much
Finger print sensor is not friendly we need to take extra stretch to place finger
Face recognition did not used becauae of battery
Overall its worth buying at this price range

Best decision ever , the new design philosophy of Samsung makes even the s7 edge look dated , the footprint of the device is not the big but the screen is gorgeous. It's. Treat to watch a 2k video
The real deal is the camera : dual camera captures brilliant photos in well lit environments , however once it gets dark the live focus uses the primary f1.7 lens to induce the depth effect which is not so good, anyways, the low light performance throws iPhone X out of water , iPhone lacks low light performance whereas this one masters it .
Camera can also be used underwater but the deal breaker is the screen gets random touch inputs under water .
The Spen which I thought I would never use ; is quite a useful TOOL ; helps in taking notes at any point in time without reaching for the notepad and a pen . One tight that was not available out of the box was the action memo which was present on note 5 ; and note 8 comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack where you can plug in the supplied pair of amazing earphones from Harman Kadon's AKG which retail for 6k ; in the box .
And you get dual sim and memory expansion slot both of which are missing on the iPhone X

Best of all, with the offer price it can kill LG V40
I bought it for Rs.43990 and it's completely worth it.
Best display, best for VR. As a matter of fact Samsung is the one manufactures display for iPhones.
Battery is not that bad, PUBG 1hr, PENUP drawing 1hr, VRTV 20min and some more activities I got 4hr 50min screen on time and 6hr device idle.
Best camera in a phone for low light photography, I have attached photo of moon zoom to see it(tool it with pro mode), in some cases it can capture more than what our eyes can notice.
But with normal and artificial lighting colours are not that accurate.
I can't find a legitimate screen protector, so using this with a little fear.

Best option till note 10 comes out
Now this is what u call a true flagship. Guys u can go for even more expensive phones out there but believe me a note experience is simply unique.
Once u get ur hands on any samsung note device other phones will start looking like cheap chinese sh*t. With note 8 samsung has achieved heights of brilliance, it's special in so many aspects. Be it QHD curved infinity display, mind boggling cameras or samsung pay this phone has everything u can expect from a flagship.
No lags whatsoever have been observed so far and camera is capable enough to click some truly awesome pics.
This phone simply rocks in almost every department. It can blow most of the so called flagships out of the water in terms of features.
However it's certainly not without cons, battery backup is not very impressive (don't forget the fast charging though) and I've observed that it sometimes shows less bars in network signals than usual (which i think is cosmetic bcoz it doesn't affect call quality or data speed).
My recommendation: definitely YES

Its not great but will not let you down :)
I switched to Samsung from Apple the phone is working good but the features are not as great as apple. The face recogbition and fingerprint sensor is horrible. In order to unlock it you have to try fingerprints twice or thrice and if you are lucky then it will recognize your face as well. After unlocking the phone works good. I used it for a month and i faced issue with unlocking and call forwarding feature sometimes the call forwarding stops on its own on this phone. Overall the phone is satisfactory

The Most Satisfying Purchase. Oh What a Phone!
I had pre-ordered this piece of awesomeness and have been a proud owner for around 1.5 months now.
I received the Free Wireless Charger and the Never Mind Offer Voucher around 3 days after activating.
Let me tell you. This phone is pure bliss.
Now word can justifiably explain how great the display looks. Due to it's 1200 knits brightness capability, it is equally charming under direct sunlight as well. Hands down, the best display in the world right now.
The Camera is a delight as well. Right from portrait mode shots to landscapes to selfies to sports. It captures all moments perfectly. The camera app too is a huge thumbs up.
Samsung's UI has come a long way. It is now very very good. Samsung Experience is everything the TouchWiz should have been.
The battery lasts through the day EASILY. I am a bit of a heavy user and it has given me no trouble on anyday. I usually get back home with 20-30% charge left.
S-Pen, if you chose to use it is one handy piece of engineering. So useful!
I am more than satisfied with my purchase. With Gigabit LTE already supported, Dual Camera, USB-C and Bluetooth 5, this marvellous smartphone is enough future-proof for me to keep it for atleast 3 years!

Maza Agaya bhaiyo.... got it for Rs28,990/- in exchange of my 3 Year old Samsung J7 Prime( Exchange value was Rs 4O13/- phone was for sale@ Rs32,99O/- It has Just been a day that I got it. Screen is awesome, Khatarnak & Zabardast but the battery life is fully faltU I guess MY 1st day usage says that battery sustend 14 hrs approx but the screen ontime was Mere 3 hrs35 mins Even Changing seems tobe slow MY comparision or comments depends upon my earlier experience of using the lightning fast oneplus 5t 8gb/128gb variant chill guys I have used it only for1 day So I May be wrong too 2ndly I am a heavy user + The very 1st day we use mobile heavily for Sofware updates apP download , may be for that reason

➕Jaw dropping curve display.
➕Amazing camera and features like super slowmo, AR emojis, Live focus.
➕Crisp and responsive S-pen functions.
➕Unlocking is quite fast.
➕ Treat to watch serials or movies. BIG SCREEN and joyful ride to watch videos
➖ Take time to get used to Fingerscanning position positioned beside camera lens.
➖ Battery life could have been better. But with so many functions you can't expect everything to be on the right side.
Even after heavy usage for over 6 months, it's as good as it was on the first day..Still a beast. One of the best in Market for sure.

Awesome awesome phone...
This is my first Samsung phone, and this is the best that can be....
I was initially a bit sceptical about the location of the fingerprint sensor, but practically after enabling the Iris Scanner, I am addicted to the blazingly fast and highly accurate Iris Scanner and prefer it over the fingerprint sensor.
Since I am a heavy user, I find the battery life to be a little bit of a blip in an otherwise perfect phone, though carrying a battery bank and fast charging the Note 8 makes this problem seem insignificant.
The S-Pen works magnificently and it really helpful even in day to day tasks.
I know Bixby has been criticized a lot by most, but personally I find Bixby very very useful and helpful in accomplishing regular tasks and even some complicated ones. And every day I assign a new task to Bixby, I find Bixby to be getting better.
And last, but not the least, the Star of the show- The Absolutely Stunning Curved Edge Display is just too good, and a sure shot head turner. It is gorgeous even below my wildest dreams, and very much bright even in direct sunlight.
All in all, a wonderful phone worth every penny that I have spent on it.

Speaker problem
Everything is excellent, but I am facing a typical problem, when I am on a normal phone call (Outgoing or Incoming), speakers turns on it's own which leads to very auckward situation. If i look at phone, the speaker icon is not "GREEN" (which means it wasn't pressed). I have to press the speaker icon once and nothing happens because at that time the phone starts loud speaker (which is already turned on) and then i press it again to turn it off and everything is back to normal.
I have talked to Amazon in this regard, they are ready to replace my unit, but they haven't picked it up till date, although the pickup date was 31.07.2018

Хороший телефон. Куплен в 2018 году. Никогда не разочаровывался. Просто нужно обращаться с ним осторожно, так как замена экрана стоит довольно дорого (18 тысяч долларов) и предоставляется гарантия всего на 1 месяц.

Excellent phone
Ordered the phone during amazon sale period and my money turned worth. Excellent phone coming with the tech in hands, especially the S-pen is doing its wonder in parallel to bixby experience. The S pen is so convenient that I wrote a letter in my own hand writing on the e paper and submitted the document in e mode and it was so near to perfection. The camera is excellent and produces good quality images.
the worst part of this phone is its battery and it doesn't last long a day and the power bank that I had purchased for occasional travel charge has now married the phone and they are found together always, no choice as if one wants to save the battery optimizing the phone, then what was the point of purchasing a phone with full fledged resources in it.
Samsung needs to take care of the battery needs.
Product was timely delivered and it given to the discounts involved came at a very decent price.

A great phone!
I had a thought to wait for oneplus 6 which might offer better specs/ similar performance but changed my mind to Note 8 for the following reasons:
(I) Display is top notch by performance rather than looks- It has an option of WQHD+ for immersive display along with edges which makes calls & frequently used apps easier
(II) camera clarity is an absolute stunner and oneplus 6 camera is not up to the mark against the flagship phones like huawei, Samsung & Pixel.You can check all reviews.
(III) The beautiful thing about note is S pen. Believe it or not, it is the most useful thing and you will realize it's usefulness when used regularly...
(IV) It is totally water resistant and can be even used in pool or can be dropped but not with the case of oneplus 6. It can survive slight rains .
(V) Other useful things like Samsung pay, Bixby was really helpful to make day by day activities.
If you want an all in phone , you will not regret for the additional penny spent for this beast!

Though I tested this device from store and in my opinion
Pros:
- Beautiful to behold
- Software is smooth as butter, no lags, no stutters, no hiccups, just smooth
- Software is feature packed and I'm talking useful features, not gimmicks
- Nothing comes close to the S pen
- Screen is beautiful in all conditions
- Phone does not feel heavy at all contrary to what I heard stated by some YouTube reviewers
- Speaker is adequately loud. Significantly louder than my former phone, the S8 Plus (and yes I kept my S8 plus)
- Bixby is actually surprisingly awesome for controlling functions on the phone. It's not that great for internet related things. Good thing is you can use both Bixby and Google assistant simultaneously (Also contrary to a lot of videos I'm watched, I've not yet once accidentally pushed the Bixby button while trying to push the volume buttons)
- Both front and back Cameras are great and fast.
- Call quality is great
waiting to get my hands on It.

Let's cut the chase and get to the point:
Pros:
1. Excellent camera, low light photography is superb.
2. Spen has made image processing better, faster.
3. Screen quality is top class.
4. Processing is fast, I mean really fast.
5. Sound is unusually good for a phone like this.
6. Build quality and finish is sublime.
7. No it does not tear my jean's pocket.
8. No it does not feel uncomfortable in hand.
9. No it is not a heavy phone, my Redmi note 5 is more heavy.
10. Yes it does have a 3.5mm Jack.
11. Battery is not the best. But no it is not a bummer. I watch videos, attend office calls on Google duo using Bluetooth.
Listen to music in my car connecting my phone over Bluetooth. And I still get past a day.
Cons: getting the right screen guard can be challenging.

Am a iPhone user past many years and I do shift to android in a year sometimes..this time it was note 8 instead of one plus 6t as its 2019 ...after so much of review ..trust to say ..
1-a great display ...so sharp that people turn around to look..I keep on looking everytime
2-camera is awesome with live focus like a superb feature ..I loved the camera
3-battery is not upto mark as it gives 4-4.5 screen ontime as compared to my other phones used ..but that's ok if ur carrying a power bank
Finally no lags ..the OS is fine .spen works wonders in day to day work in nothing down something. .and if a verdict to give in 2019 ...go for it if you have one plus 6t in mind...you won't regret..

Good product with slight drawbacks
After 2 months of usage I'm writing this review, this is my first smartphone in samsung phones. I brought this for around 37k which is fully worth with no doubts. After a upgrade of one ui to Orea I feel phone is more smooth and bolt free. Display is awesome and impressing every moment when ever I'm using it. I'm a average user with no games for me battery life stays for 1 day. Phone premium and I will recommend this phone to go for it

A great phone!
I recently moved to Galaxy Note 8 from iPhone 6S, and I'm liking this phone already despite its inability to work well with my iPad and MacBook Pro.
Smart Switch was extremely helpful in transferring 10's of GB's of my iPhone content, including Messages, Call Logs, Notes, Contacts, Photos, Videos, Apps etc - and the whole transfer process took less than 20 minutes. Samsung Experience UI is intuitive but animations feel overtly smooth - could have been snappier.
I was hesitant to move out of the iOS ecosystem since I'm so tightly knitted into Apple's products (Watch, iPad and MacBook Pro) and their services (Music, iCloud Storage etc) and I rightly find it painful to sync the content on this phone with the rest of my Apple products. It's very difficult to rely on multiple third-party service providers to manage music, photos, videos, notes, reminders and especially the browser data since I run on Safari.
All said this phone looks extremely promising to me in its capability to be a great business phone!

Somewhere between good and great
It's a terrific phone with few misses.
Battery life is ok. However for all gaming purposes it might not be enough. Picture quality is superb. Face unlock is slow as compared to the new phones in the market and is unpredictable. Also in darkness, it doesn't create an artificial light screen unlike One plus 6. So face unlock Will not work when you are in a dark place.
S pen is absolutely great. Love it. Speaker is average and so are the earphones bundled.
Considering that I got the phone at around 39K, it's a great buy.
Battery life is ok. However for all gaming purposes it might not be enough. Picture quality is superb. Face unlock is slow as compared to the new phones in the market and is unpredictable. Also in darkness, it doesn't create an artificial light screen unlike One plus 6. So face unlock Will not work when you are in a dark place.
S pen is absolutely great. Love it. Speaker is average and so are the earphones bundled.
Considering that I got the phone at around 39K, it's a great buy.

Good
Has liked this phone since its release. So finally got it for 42k. Camera is good on dau light but struggles a bit on darker or artificial lights. Anyway I bought it for the S Pen. Just love it, except I wish the pressure sensitivity is more accurate.
The biggest con actually is the screen protection which is such a head scratcher. Hardly you get a good one that doesnt hamper your touch sensitivity. And the gorilla glass 5 is not that scratch resistant. So eventually I will be using without glass protection.

Go for it if u can manage the average battery life
Pros: best screen , super bright and sharp in sunlight
Awesome camera with loads of features
Excellent processor and optimization, zero lag while playing even heavy games like asphalt 8 and pubg
Provided earphones are of the best quality
Lots of accessories like otg and USB c converter in the box along with clear case
S pen is an sweet bonus
Cons: charging comparatively slow
Should be on power saving to get decent battery life
Poor speaker
Terrible live focus
