- + Цена и две полезно-забавные функции - ложный вызов (если надо сделать вид, что вам кто-то звонит) и SOS-сообщение, посылаемое нажатием одной кнопки.

Отличная модель
- + У моего старого соседа по даче бывшего и нынешнего соседа по даче. Есть такой мобильник. Заряд долго держит. Сим-карта МТС. Наушники для радио. Нет камеры. Просить у федеральных каналов камеру фото и видео камеру.
- - Плохая слышимость, плохой звук, менять на саундтрек зарубежного сериала. Калькулятор считает медленно. Радио плохо вообще берет в поезде. Карты не посмотришь в другом городе.

I cannot tell you whether this phone works. It just arrived, and I won't be going to Europe for a while. But I can tell you this:PROS:It came already set for English menus and included English printed docs. (Perhaps the complaints of previous posters motivated the change.)It is small, light, and the charger worked fine...the battery was 80% charged out of the box.CONS:It came with a Europe-to-US adapter, but the US prongs were too small/not spaced right to fit snugly in my home outlets. I tried my own small adapter, and that didn't fit the Europe prongs on the charger cord. A second universal adapter that I had worked fine at both ends...so this was only a minor inconvenience...hence the drop to 4 stars. But I'll have no trouble charging it completely before I leave the US.Assuming it works well with European SIMS (and judging from the other posters, I have no reason to doubt it), this is a good deal.

This phone arrived on the date promised, was new and had written instructions in English. It is still charging so I don't know if the actual phone is in English or some other language but the icon showing during the charging process has "charging" under it so I assume that the phone is set up to "speak" English. I am writing this review primarily to give kudos to the company selling this product. It arrived as promised with everything in the box as advertised. The phone is almost exactly the same size as pictured, I thought it would be larger, nearer to the size of other Samsung phones I have owned in the past. It is very small and light weight which pleases me and was a pleasant surprise but could be less pleasant to someone with large fingers, poor eyes or expecting a large screen. It seems just perfect as a travel phone in today's carry on world with weight restrictions. I look forward to actually using this phone. It is soooooo small it is cute, almost like a "pretend" phone. It will fit easily into pockets and small coin purses. Hope I am as happy with this phone after I have used it as I am now.

I read all the reviews on Amazon of the different phones available and used oversees before I bought the Samsung . Most of the reviews (which I really do rely on for my purchases) came back to the Samsung. I am not going to use it until September but so far it charged, I was able to set it and BEST of all it came in English so I did not have to convert it from German. Will let you know next year when I return how it works.

I just received this phone yesterday and, after previous reviews about it being preset in German, I was very happy that this phone was preset in English and that it included two user manuals - one in German and one in English. It included a charging cable with adapter so I could precharge the battery while here in the States and then be able to use the main cable to charge the phone in Europe. It seems like a nice little phone but I won't be able to use it until I travel later this summer.One warning. The phone comes with a warranty but good luck trying to register it or get support for it. The warranty card is tiny. You need a magnifying glass to read it. It requires a dealer's stamp and signature! Huh?The last line says "Caution: Please ensure the form above is completed at the time of purchase and present to the dealer for guarantee service, otherwise your guarantee may be affected".I went to the Samsung "register your product" page and was stymied there also. When I went to enter my state, the dropdown box only contained the name of six states! When you go to contact Samsung, they require you to provide your preferred carrier name and model number. This model number was not included in the options. I will try calling Samsung Monday morning but right now I'd give Samsung minus five stars!

I received it, charged it and added a SIM card.It seems to work. It recognized the SIM card. I have not yet made any phone calls with it.The model I received was a Samsung GT-E1080W.The menus were in English.The charger connector is a proprietary Samsung plug. But that is OK with me.The only issue I had was that when I plugged it in to charge, there was no charge indicator on the screen. If you press the # key, the screen lights up and you will see "charging".

This phone had incapacitating faults.Error signal was produced on making calls, no combination worked. Sometimes the calls went through. Calls were received sucessfully. Eventually the phone would not turn off and became junk.The phone is light and has good battery life. But the one I had was more trouble than useful.

This worked perfectly for a trip to Spain. The phone arrived promptly, the battery was pre-charged and it included an adpater so I could charge completely in the US before the trip. The phone was set to English by default. Once arriving in Spain I purchased a prepaid SIM for 10 Euros which allowed me to phone/text local and international numbers. The battery showed full charge for several days of intermittent use without even needing a charge.I would definitely buy again. The only reason this phone gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the following issues.1. I was able to switch to T9 text input while composing a text message but could not get T9 to stay as the default entry method. Minor nuisance.2. Samsung phones are notorious for using proprietary connectors. It is not possible to plug the phone into a micro-USB charger, but you must take the Samsung charger with its special plug. This phone was fine for a trip, but general advice to anyone buying a phone for daily use--make sure it uses standard USB and headphone jacks.3. And speaking of headphone jacks--there wasn't one but I didn't miss it for the trip.

The phone arrived on time and its price was excellent. Our usual cell phone is essentially useless in Europe, so we purchased this one for a European trip. This phone is NOT designed to work here in the states. It requires a SIMM card, which can be purchased here, but purchasing a local card on your arrival may be cheaper. A local address may be required to purchase the card. A relative's address seems to be acceptable, but it might be wise to check out acceptable alternatives if a relative is not available.

I used this phone while travelling around europe for three months. the phone works just fine, and is perfect as long as you are not looking for anything advanced. This is definetly a basic phone with very basic features. If you are looking for a cheap option, short-term phone while traveling which you can use for texting and phone calls then this phone will work just fine.

I got this phone for my Dad to use in Sri Lanka, and he was very happy with it, it has no fancy controls and option so easy to use, his main use of this phone is to make a call, no text/mail or Web. and it has good battery life also.For a user which need only Voice calls, and need good talk time, this one of the best options, remember this will not work in US since the GSM bands are only calibrated to work with UK & Asia bands.

I took this phone with to England to work at the Paralympic Games. It worked wonderful. I used the alarm feature on it a lot, as well as the phone. Just purchase the sim card and you are good to go. Will use it again on future trips.

This is a very nice phone, simple basic funtions, SMS and calls, but is in english, no spanish menu, and it does not work with every operator, is dual band, especially for Europe. If you live in America you will need an adapter to charge it. In Venezuela it works with digitel. Thank you for your service, and thanks to the other customers reviews I knew what I was buying, I am pleased whit it.

This phone powers via a proprietary connector (i.e. NOT mini USB or micro USB). That in and of itself would have made this phone 3 stars, however, the power supply is an EU power supply. I.e. the other end of the cord terminates in an EU power plug, not a USB power plug. I believe the EU has banned such proprietary connectors for phones - maybe that's why these are for sale in the US - maybe they are over stock.If you are in the US planning on traveling to the EU with this phone, it might not be too annoying. If you are planning on travelling somewhere else (e.g. UK) this phone would be really annoying.

I just bought my phone. it comes with an adapter and then with one more adapter plug. Nowhere in instructions it is explained what the second adapter plug is for, nor does Samsung has a clue. It would be very helpful if somebody who used this phone can tell me what the second plug is for? Thank you very much!

Excellent and great cheap buy. Phone is cheap and reception is excellent. Battery life is great. it is the phone I am currently using while traveling and it works great.

Took a trip to Ukraine September 2010 with Samsung E1080 phone.Signed up with KyivStar provider, and never looked back.Phone worked just fine on the trane, on the bus, in small towns, big towns and everywhere in between.I'm keeping this phone for my next trips anywhere in Europe.Oh, and remember that this phone will NOT work in US.
