Great but LOUD
This is my first 4K monitor and I'm very pleased with it. The colors and clarity are beyond anything I've ever used before. I'm happy with it overall. However, I ended up returning it bc whenever the monitor is turned on, there is a slight buzzing/humming sound coming from it. I have tried plugging them directly into the wall, using HDMI, changing the settings on them, but nothing can stop this buzzing sound. It is similar to the sound older TVs used to make when powered on. I

Not the best.
The monitor was easy to hook up. I was installed next to another brand I am using and this one was not as bright. I use computer aided design and the colors were way off. The same layer on a drawing had different colors for vertical lines than the same horizontal lines. Samsung could not fix this problem and it also showed up on my other Samsung monitor.

Cheap Build Quality - Good Picture
I would not recommend this product. It is poorly constructed and after 5 months of owning, the plastic bezel which retains the display to the case popped out of and pulled away from the receiver. It will not go back into place. There is a mitered joint at the lower left which failed on its own, causing the problem. I called Samsung to file a warranty claim, and they told me it would not likely be covered. I could send the monitor to them, but they would most likely charge me to repair. They sold me a cheap piece of junk and this is their response. I have lost all respect for Samsung after this interaction.

Stunning Samsung
I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. The Samsung UE570 28" monitor is simply stunning. 4k, refresh rate, PIP are just a few of the qualities of this monitor. I have this connected to a Dell pc and Roku Ultra. The 4K is beautiful. I love the PIP so I can work and watch TV, movies at the same time. A few drawbacks...price and stand. I think it is a little overpriced. I wish it was a little larger. 28" is just an odd shape. Perhaps a 32" or 34" would be better. The stand is a little bulky and barely fits on my desk but there are other mounting options available. I don't like the menu buttons on the back. They need to be on the front, side or bottom for easy access. Overall a great monitor and I would recommend to any gamer or someone looking for a small monitor.

Awful Color Accuracy
This monitor is large and not too expensive, but I am completely unable to calibrate the color. I'm trying to use it for graphic design and it will not calibrate correctly for use as an external monitor with my MacBook Pro. The color is greenish and the brightness is too high. Even when I turn the brightness to 0, it still won't calibrate.
This monitor is probably fine if you're a gamer or doing something else where color accuracy doesn't matter, but it's absolutely terrible for a designer. I'm probably going to return it.

Great for the price
This is an upgrade from my old 1920x1080 27". It's taking some getting used to - smaller but clearer images and text, slightly different color perception, but I like it. One thing I love is that it's truly plug and play. It worked immediately with no futzing.

Great Monitor
I am in love with this monitor. After initially running into an issue where the screen would flash on and off, i discovered that it was due to the response time setting being set to fastest. When i set it to normal, it has worked great ever since. This took me a little time to explore but really glad I did. The visual quality is top notch, and being able to play Forza Horizon 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 in true 4k has been an absolute blast. I enjoy being able to sit on my computer due to being more aware of the controls instead of having the issues on plugging in to the big screen and sitting on my couch. It is a truly perfect. It is really exciting having something with such a pure picture. I think my husband is going to want to steal it from me any day.

Flickering...not ideal with MacBook Pros
Very sturdy monitor. Seems well built and what you would expect from Samsung, but this is a 2016 model denoted by the sticker that comes on the monitor. I wanted to use mine with a 2016 MacBook Pro. I experienced mild flickering despite multiple settings adjustments. I also experienced occasional flashes of sever static, and it would consistently wake itself up from standby mode to strobe.

Display port doesn't seem to want to work with graphics card
I thought I had a good purchase with this Samsung screen but I've had nothing but trouble ever since trying to get it hooked up to my graphics card. Highly disappointed and now im stuck with it as its past the return date 🙄

Vesa mount way too high to use with desk mount.
Dang! I was excited about this monitor from all of the good reviews regarding picture quality. I'm sure it's great - samsung seems to do a good job. However, I never even hooked mine up because the vesa mount point is at the very top of the monitor. Even with my extra tall pole desk mount the monitor ends up uncomfortably low. If you are going to buy this monitor you should plan to us it on a stand on your desk, wall mount it, or also buy a vesa riser plate. Unfortunate design flaw that doesn't work with my workstation so I'll be sending it back.

Perfect Upgrade to 4K
I've been using a 1080p monitor since building my computer but recently I've wanted to step up to a 4K . This Samsung seemed to strike a good balance between price and performance so I decided to pull the trigger.
Right now I'm using this together with my old monitor and the difference is night and day. Having two monitors is great but the brightness, sharpness, viewing angles, and picture quality on the 4K is amazing by comparison. I've never had another high quality monitor to compare to but so far I'm very pleased.
I do a fair amount of gaming and the low response time has been great for that. No stuttering or other input lag issues. The monitor has FreeSync but I have an nVidia card so unfortunately I can't take advantage of it.
My next step is to get another monitor arm so I can use the VESA mounts. Right now I've got the monitor sitting on a few books since my desk high isn't ideal. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase! The monitor has done everything I've wanted and it didn't hurt my pocket to do so!

Cycles on and off when the computer is asleep
If you don't manually turn it off, once the computer goes to sleep it constantly cycles on and off, showing "HDMI 1" each time it turns itself on. Bad power management design.

Sharp, bright, fast monitor
I expected this monitor to be good but it was GREAT! Setting it up was really easy and everything was well packed. I'm glad it included the HDMI cable. The first thing I did was calibrated the monitor so that I could edit some photos with Photoshop. Colors were true. Blacks were black. This is a key point for anyone who edits photos. Then I played Call of Duty online. No lag time, no lines, no blur. Having a 28" monitor makes everything look better. If you are a gamer, you need this monitor. Watching videos on YouTube and Netflix was amazing. You can tell the difference with the 4k capabilities. The details are sharp, focused.

Great picture, unusable VESA mounting
Great picture. Terrible VESA mount. Only useful for a wall mount. You can’t put this on an arm attached to the desk, because the mounting is at the top of the monitor. The result will be lower than if you just use the stand.

Bad Power cord
The AC/DC power cord will not fit together securely. This leads to an intermittent loss of power to the monitor. I have contacted customer service we will see how that works out. More to follow.

Overall it's a good monitor but..
I bought this monitor last month and keep using it in my full-time job. 99% it works good, but sometimes suddenly it loses the connection to the laptop and restores the connection again automatically in about 20 seconds. Not sure if this is the laptop dock problem or monitor problem.

Average. Too bright, not dark enough
It works. Disappointed with the color performance - cannot get anything close to an absolute black...always a level of grey...monitor seems "bright". Using as extension monitor for recording and occasional video watching. Wouldn't recommend.

Good monitor but menu system ruins it
Nice monitor but is completely ruined by how the monitor switched between sources. I have to rotate through all sources instead of picking from a list and sometimes if it goes over a source/input with nothing on it, it just gets stuck and has to be unplugged and plugged back in to get to the next input. Worthless.

Very good, quality UHD monitor
I have always favored Samsung products. I don't know why I waited so long to get this UHD monitor. Freesync ready, very good clarity and able to keep up with FPS as well. Paired with my Radeon VII gaming has never been so good.

I love this monitor, I'm not a gamer so unfortunately i can't speak to what they look for, but for general internet and work use, beautiful picture, wide-screen, good bang for the buck, highly recommend it

Not suitable for programming and Text/IDE work
I am a software engineer and I got this monitor for my home office. I attached it to a MacBook Pro. I personally couldn't end up using it: The colors were just too warm or different compared to Macbook's Retina display. Perhaps the colors were too vivid or movie-like, which was distracting when coding. I also found the brightness way too much (even at the lowest setting) which put a strain on my eyes. I tried the EyeSaver mode but it changed the colors too much. I went back to my older monitor: A "Dell UltraSharp U2312HM".

Great monitor, great price
I use this monitor when I have to work downstairs(not in regular office). Easy to stow away in a closet and pop out when needed. Recommended by a friend and I'm quite happy with the purchase. Honestly though, go with the 32 if you can afford it.

Eyesaver mode is good.
After a month the screen started blinking. Not sure why. I'm using at the equipment that came with it....but eyesaver mode is good. Also great picture for gaming and movies
