This podcaster microphone is good and works fine, plug and play, no software to install, no techs. I use it with garage band to produce hypnotherapy recordings and the voice comes out clear. Perfect for those who are not recording engineers and can’t work out what to buy! A good competitor for the Blue Yeti, and probably a bit better.

I've been so impressed with this mic. I bought it as a bundle with the winch arm thingy and shock mount and the audio quality is second to none. The background noise is really easy to control and even in a basic room with no soundproofing it works perfectly.

Love this mic. It sounds like nothing I've ever used before and really helps you hear what you actually sound like when broadcasting rather than what a cheap mic makes you sound like.

WOW!! What an improvement over my previous Sennheiser Mic which I had to turn up full on the mixer and the sound quality was never that good. This mic is just what I needed for my studio, works perfectly, looks the business, good build quality and sounds terrific and I don't need to buy a preamp with it as the gain on my Pioneer mixer is more than enough. You cannot go wrong with this make of mic - if you are thinking about buying one....go for it

All rich voice vanished, and the whole microphone sounded flat and rattly/echo and fuzzy. Very strange - complete unusable right when I needed to start recording again. Not sure what happened to it, I never damaged it and it's sat on my boom arm every day out the way and used just a few times per year. Disappointed to have to fork out another £140 for a replacement. Probably "out of warranty" and can't be bothered emailing them about it, so have 1 star.

If your recording for Podcast or radio then you can't go far wrong with the Procaster. The noise floor is really low and the direction means there is very little spill from other voices in the room. Depending on what other mics you've used it may take a little while to get used to how close you need to be to get a good signal but other than that this is a great mic.

This mic would be great for voice-over work. If you get really close you sound like a pro. You'll need a good stand though. It's very heavy.

This mic is perfect needs a lot of gain but sounds amazing, I got the Focusrite Scarlett solo to pair with it and its great. Would recommend the Rode mic arm because it is pretty heavy and the cheaper ones are not the best with my experience especially with heavier mics also with the PSM1 shock mount, but great product and would recommend spending the extra cash on this over the AT2020

Has worked perfectly for months.
This microphone is the first XLR powered device I've owned and the sound difference from USB is astounding, when used in conjunction with my Scarlett 2i2 the voice clarity is impressive.

Amazing product! purchased as an alternative to the much more expensive Shure SM7B and have no regrets!
Only comment I would make is consider the size of the mic as its fairly big and front address so think about the space you're working with and how its going to be positioned within it!

Am Anfang war es ne Spitzen Quallität doch auf einmal ist die Quallität nurnoch Müll.. und weiß nicht woran es liegt.. Am sieht man die Unterseite vom Micro, dazu meine Frage.. Ist es normal das diese metallstifte unterschiedlich lang sind? Danke für die Antwort

Compares really well to much more expensive equipment, lovely and heavy with great build quality. Brilliant sound, has that really nice radio broadcast sound to it, brilliant for podcasting or anything along those lines.

verwende dieses Mikrofon in Kombination mit dem Behringer Xenyx 302 USB, einem hochwertigen XLR Kabel, der Rode PSA1 Halterung und der entsprechenden Rode Spinne. Funktion ist einwandfrei, einmal eingestellt ist die Sprachqualität unglaublich gut, kein Vergleich zu meinen vorherigen Gaming-Headsetmikrofonen. Eindeutig die Investition wert.
Installation mit dem PSA1 und der Spinne von Rode verlief innerhalb von zwei Minuten, alles top optimiert für die professionelle Nutzung.
Gewichts/Austarierprobleme wie bei anderen beschrieben kann ich nicht bestätigen, hält alles gut.

Don't think you could possibly beat this mic for the price . Replaced an old AKG D202 with this and it is a big beast so needs good support . Lovely warm and rich tones and very good for unwanted noise due to it's design and being a dynamic .
