My boyfriend is obsessed with this thing. He just uses it watching TV and there’s a hair catcher so he doesn’t make a mess (like his clippers used to all over the sink). Buy it.

I purposely let my beard grow to test this product and the moment it was delivered, I used it immediately. Compared to other electric razors in the same price range, I found the shaving to feel sub-part compared to a full electric razer. I had to re-shave certain areas that I normally do not with my primary razer.
In addition, I found the scrub/cleanse/prep brushes to feel like a novelty. They attach easily to the main hub and sometimes need tweaking for the brush to begin rotating, but the most troubling part is the strength of the spin - it severely lacks - just a tad bit of pressure and any of the 3 brushes will come to a stand-still, especially the prep brush.
I attempted a variation of shaving styles and overall, it did a decent job - if you're looking for something compact, this is definitely a okay choice, however it isn't a razer I would regularly use myself.

This shaver is interesting in that it provides the next best thing to a Facial/Barber combination.
Thank you Remington for providing a charger of a decent size and speaking of charging, I have been using the shaver for almost 2 weeks and its still going on its initial charge, plus its also quiet, so much that initially I thought it was not fully charged.
The shape of this shaver is unusual at first but you will forget it quite fast. I have had trouble with rotary shavers in the past and this one does a fairly decent job when using it wet, if I use it dry however, I still get a rash but that’s my sensitive skin.
Using the three brushes will require more time in the bathroom but you definitely feel good after. The pop-up trimmer, to me does not work very well. the accessory trimmer does a better job on sideburns but I do not have a beard to test the trimmer on. It’s a good thing this kit comes with a bag to keep everything in one place. So, use it wet and you’ll be happy.

I was very happy to try this shaver because of the scrubbing head attachments. I was looking to rejuvenate my skin and it's texture and I felt like the brushes did a good job scrubbing the oil and dirt out; left my skin feeling very fresh.
I wanted to use this shaver in the shower but no where on the box does it claim to be water proof, just can be used "wet or dry" is that clever marketing for saying my face can be wet or dry? I don't know; Normally I look for the IP68 waterproof rating but nothing.
It's a decent shaver, it's not as good as a razor blade but it's great if you suffer from razor burn.
Ergonomically, I'm not a huge fan of palm shavers , I must prefer the traditional in hand form; I suspect the in palm style could be very useful for someone with limited hand capabilities.

I’ve been using this daily for about a month.
Here’s what I’ve noticed.
1. Using this dry can be uncomfortable
2. Using this with shaving cream requires frequent rinsing or it bogs down
3. Using this with Williams Lectric Shave works well
4. Pre-shave brush doesn’t make any difference
5. Face cleaning brushes are nice
6. For weekly cleaning instructions say to put the heads back in accordance with colors...which do not exist. You need to track positions yourself.
7. Weekly cleaning process is not onerous
8. Trimmer works well for sideburns and eyebrows
I would purchase it again, however if it didn’t include the brushes there would be no loss

Great for a bald shave! So, if you are considering buying this to shave your head totally bald and you are currently using a wahl or something similar to that, then go ahead and do it because shaving your head bacl with this is a much more pleasant experience. The rounded edges are much more gentle on the scalp, the lack of cord allows me to get all the way in the bathtub and not worry about accidentally unplugging my razor or the cord swiping all my toiletries off the counter because there isn't a cord, it takes out a much larger percentage of hairs and cuts them closer than a traditional straight edged electric razor, and the shave it visibly closer. I still had to go over some difficult spots with an actual razor blade but I did not have to do my whole head that way thus reducing my chances of having razor burn on my head. I have never liked electrics for shaving my face and this one is no exception to that rule. In sumary, this this rocks for the purpose of getting all the hair off your head comfortably and conveniently.

This is the third electric razor I have tried for shaving my head. I do not have male pattern baldness, but have a full head of thick coarse hair and decided to shave it for Halloween. This little razor does a pretty good job in the shower with shaving cream. Maybe not as close as a blade, but I have gotten no nicks or cuts from it. The handle and shaving head position works well and is a good design. The rotary blades are very smooth and cut well considering how much hair I have. I have found that it works better when there is a decent amount of stubble.

I purchased this in an attempt to consolidate my shavers and trimmers. The primary reason I chose this item was that somewhere on the product page it said the trimmer attachments could extend to 15mm. My current trimmers cap out at 9mm so I was excited about this. Unfortunately, it only goes to about 6mm meaning it doesn't actually function for my primary purpose. I also bought this to replace a Braun 3 series razor that was damaged by my youngest child and so it scratched terribly. This razor shaves pretty well and is pretty smooth across my skin. The negative is that I used my previous razor to shave my neck and keep the neckline clean. This razor is terrible at that. I keep having to use trimmers to keep my beard from creeping onto my neck.
What this razor does well got it the 3 stars, but it's short comings will keep me from recommending it.

I used to have a "Pitbull" shaver or whatever it's called. It started failing out of nowhere a few days after the warranty expired and they wouldn't extend any kind of good-will gesture for me, even though the failure behavior was so strange and timing so close to the warranty end. So I vowed not to buy from that brand again, concluding that they don't have much faith in their product or value their customers experience all that highly. This device pretty much works exactly as well as the Pitbull shaver did. Which is to say, pretty good, but nowhere near as close a shave as an actual razor. I use this to shave my head and the results are something like 36 hours after a razor shave. So it looks smooth, but will feel obviously a little stubbly to the touch. But, there's virtually no irritation so you could use it daily if you wanted to, unlike a razor which you might need to use within a specific window of time (e.g., between 3 and 7 days after your last shave) in order to avoid irritation.
Temper your expectations though. This thing is *not* as fast as a real razor in skilled hands. It probably takes me about 1.5x as long to get a consistent shave from this device as it does with a razor. But I'm never leaving blood on my towel when I do, so we're making trade offs here.

Loud, cheap, and does a really poor job of shaving. I don't have a heavy beard, so that may contribute, but this was a very disappointing purchase. I don't know if I can return it after a few shaves so this might be a total loss. I could not go to work after shaving with this razor, either I would have a poor shave or my skin would be worn raw. I really do *NOT* recommend this shaver.

I purchased this shaver to use to shave my head and face. I selected this model in particular because its shape seemed like it would be more comfortable for head shaving than a normal electric razor. While it indeed was quite comfortable and easy to use for shaving my head, the actual shaving performance was mediocre at best. It took many passes to achieve an acceptably close shave, with a correspondingly severe level of skin irritation, even shaving wet with a quality shaving cream.
I'm sure it performs adequately for many people, and the shape is a major advantage for head shaving, but for me the ergonomics do not make up for the lack of performance. I will be returning this product and purchasing a traditional electric razor instead.

I used a electric razor long ago but have wore a bread for many years. I needed to shave for an operation and liked the hype. I was going to use it to remove my beard and afterwards to keep my neck trimmed. I knew it would be difficult to remove my beard and will give it a pass for removing a long time beard but I have a great deal of trouble shaving my neck and cheeks. It misses hairs, clips them short and take several passes to get a clean shave. I tried the pre-shave lotions and conditioners recommended to no avail. Bad experience.

The plastic cap used to protect the heads are cheap and the tabs brake off real easy. Had the first one replaced for free by customer service. Fantastic service by them. I ordered two additional plastic caps and glad I did as the one replaced by CS broke before the additional ones arrived. Need to make a better cap. If the cap were better It would be a 4 star and if the razor cut better and did not pull the hair out it would have been a total 5 so folks get on back to the design table and make it a 5!

I decided to try the elecrtric razor shaving again after a lot of years with razors. I never had a lot of luck with many different brands or styles in the past because they just never do a good job. The rotary style has a better cut for me than any of the others, even when using the pre-shave products. I'm getting older now and no matter what the "safety style razor" even though a good shave tends to tear up my face. This razor, just as others just always leaves a lot of unshaven hair so I end up using a razor anyway.

I bought this to replace an almost 20 year old Phillips shaver. I thought that in that amount of time the technology must have surely improved and it was time to get a new shaver. Well, I was wrong. This is no better than my old Phillips - other then the shape they are almost identical, except this Remington is a lot louder. Well at least its new and it works okay. It is waterproof and I can use it with shaving cream, so that is a plus. Maybe I was expecting too much at this price point?

Don't waste your money if you are over 60. As our skin looses its elasticity, its difficult to find an electric razor that works. Well, this ain't the one to buy. If you have "peach fuzz"? It'll work just fine. I am searching for an electric razor that will work and not spend $150 for a Braun that I bought. Onward.

Great product. Attachment heads easily interchanged, batter charged quick, and was able to use shortly after it arrived. I like that electric razors had advanced to be able to use in shower and also trim facial hair. Only marked down 1 star simply because I’ve always gotten a better shave from a manual razor. Got this for quick convenience, but definitely impressed.

Battery life is very short and there is no warning as to when it's going to stop. Yes, the red light comes on just before it does stop, but "JUST BEFORE". It shaves, but not close enough and tends to pull hairs. It is easy to clean, as is all the others of similar type heads and it is somewhat easy to hold but I need something that has a battery that is going to last and warn me at least a shave away from going out and a razor that is going to shave close without pulling hairs.

This was a useful tool, yet I have had it for 3 months and one of the blades is no longer working properly. Of course, the warranty does not cover the blades, so now I just need to spend more money and by a different product. I do no recommend buying this product, it will give you the illusion that it will last, and then the part of it that is not on warranty will break.

So I’m bald and I razor shave my head once or twice a week along with my face. My wife hates when a shave all at once because I turn into an egg.
With this thing I keep the head shaved and beard at 2 days length easy ...and everyone is happy

My bf loves this. He uses this to shave his head so he has that baby smooth feel to it, so by default I love it too.
I did accidentally knock it off the counter once and it broke in a few pieces. He was able to put it back together so it still seems to works great because he still uses it all the time <3

The WORST shaver I've ever owned. It cuts, it burns, it shreds skin. It causes rashes and pimples. It's weak, underpowered and damned near impossible to clean. I used it for two weeks and finally threw the whole mess away in disgust. I didn't even want to give it away to a friend because it's such a cheap, unworkable, crappy piece of technology. I had a nice Remington wet/dry years ago that worked wonderfully. but this thing seems like it was invented by a particularly sadistic gnome whose only intent was to cause great pain and prolonged suffering. Never again will I buy a Remington product.

Bought this to replace an older Skull Shaver I couldn’t get blades for anymore. Works great shaving my head, but works best if I use it every other day. If I wait longer I will need to us a trimmer first. This is a very good deal compared to what I was using.

Requires a short stubble (has trimmer on side; Best to remove shave head) to get a close shave which MUST be obtained in a hot shower with CREMO shave cream.

It takes longer to shave with the three headed attachment.
It just seams to miss alot so you have to keep on going over
your face with it and that can irritate your skin.
Its good for trimming but shave?
I will leave that up to my good old double side safety razor.

My 25-year old Remington shaver outperforms this one hands down. Although it comes with several attachments to prep before a shave, you still cannot get a close shave with this one. It takes too much time, to get a clean shave. However, this XR1410 shaver was not half the cost of my original shaver.

So this shaver is basically a normal shaver with the bottom 3rd lopped off. It shaves the same as any other and the ergonomics produced by eliminating the bottom 3rd don't really have much effect. It is working fine but it's nothing special. I probably woudn't buy another one.

I had heard great things about this razor, and was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, the razor itself is not great quality compared to a Norelco (this one is plastic and lightweight) and it does not deliver a close shave.

The price was right, but you get what you pay for! I tend to only shave every other day, and the razor attachment is “just okay”. Biggest issue is that if I go a little longer...don’t shave on the weekend, by Monday the shaver pulls more than it cuts! The sideburn trimmer doesn’t work at all, and it’s a pain to switch out attachments just to trim the ear hair and the sideburns.

This product works well but it's quite noisy. The hair cutting attachment also misses hairs quite often. I have started shaving my head as it looks better and is more efficient.

Gets nearly as close as my Headblade without the skin irritation and is much faster. There is a crease on the back of my head that i can't get to with a blade that this shaver gets with no problem. Takes about 3 minutes if you don't let the hair grow too long. A day or two max. I use Lectric Shave right before and it works great.

I love the way this little shaver fits in your hand. I purchased it for my husband as a gift. But it just isn’t strong enough to get the job done. His facial hair must be too coarse or something so it is disappointing. I was going to return it but he said he would keep it as a backup to his razor.

Unfortunately the razor head broke after two uses and washes. The one of the three spinning units attached to the inside broke leaving only two working. Cannot find replacement part. Disappointed.
