Razer - For Gamers, By Scammers
DO NOT BUY RAZER. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.
This was gifted to me and I would personally ALWAYS avoid Razer, and I was proven right even with this gift. here's why; since 2016 I have had 3 other Razer Kraken's, all had issues with audio, such as popping, crackling and straight up glitching. ALL broke within 6~9 months. ALL Razer headphones want you to download "Razer Synapse" an application that is glitchy, broken, and can straight up worsen your computers performance as it ALWAYS runs in the background. This headset had a major glitch upon first use, everything was at 5% volume with a chipmunk-like high pitched sound. Since then it's had random popping and fizzing sounds every 10~15 seconds. This is a £ FIFTY SEVEN POUND £ headset keep in mind. The sound quality of this headset is also abysmal, everything sounds like a bassy mash. I've had headsets set at £14 that sound better, perform better and have lasted years. Razer is known for using cheap parts, cheap labour and having terrible quality control.
Razer is NOT a high-quality brand, Razer is NOT designer. Razer simply have their prices set high in hopes of tricking people into thinking they "lead" the Headphone gaming industry. They do not. They are scamming you. Their headphones are worth £20~£25 to make and the parts are awful. You're paying that extra £30 for a false brand name.
DO NOT buy this as a gift for somebody, my recommendation is to look elsewhere, like HyperX. If you choose not to, good luck rolling the dice on if your headset was actually properly manufactured as Razer simply do not care about the quality of their products.

Schöner Kopfhörer, wenn da nicht das Fiepen wäre... und bei einem weiteren das schlechte Mikrofon
Von den zwei bestellten Razer Kraken V3 für Sohnemann und mich waren leider zwei mangelhaft.
1. Mikrofon schlecht - Gegenüber konnte einen kaum verstehen. Auch im Vergleich zum Zweitgerät war das Mikro oder irgendwas an der Kombination aus Mikro und Restgerät einfach merklich schlechter. Aber auch der Austausch des Mikros mit dem des anderen Gerätes hat diesen Zustand nicht wesentlich verbessert - warum auch immer...
2. Bei diesem Gerät war der Klang ok, das Mikro mMn sogar gut. Aber sobald man die Beleuchtung oder das Mikrofon angeschaltet hat, hat er auf dem linken Ohr vernehmlich gefiept. Leider ziemlich nervig und für meinen Anwendungszwecke (mehr Telko) nicht brauchbar.
Leider scheint bei Razer die Qualitätssicherung oder sogar das Produktdesign nicht perfekt zu sein. Bei meiner (eigentlich sehr guten und ebenso teueren Tastatur - Huntsman Elite V2) fiept es ebenfalls, wenn die Beleuchtung zu hoch eingestellt ist...
Daher gehen die beiden Kopfhörer direkt zurück. Schade drum.
Der Sitz war gut. Optik, Haptik, Anordnung der Knöpfe, Lösung für abnehmbares Miko usw. alles gut.
Klang so lala. Mit Optimierung "ok" - aber natürlich kein Vergleich zu einem richtigen (und mitunter aber auch deutlich teuereren) Kopfhörer wie dem Sony Sony WH-1000XM4 - was aber völlig ok ist.
Der Surround-Klang, habe ihn nur in den Einstellungen kurz probiert ist vage vorhanden, aber sicherlich nichts bahnbrechendes...

Mic is rubbish
While this headset has incredible potential with the sound quality, the mic forms a big part of the product and unfortunately for Razer, the mic simply does not do it justice. In addition, I have now experienced this issue but had heard of people complaining about how when you tried to use the sound tone, you would get static. Mine had this issue.

Was soll ich dazu sagen?
Die Tonqualität ist gut, der Sitz und das Design auch, aber das Produkt hat ein defekt, Mmn hört ein relativ lautes Pipsen, was mich wirklich gestört hat.
Habe es deswegen zurück geschickt.

War ein Geschenk für den Göttergatten. Gerät macht was es soll, perfekt zum Zocken. Einziger Nachteil: die Kopfhörer sind so gut, dass mein Mann nicht hört wenn man ihn ruft oder die Kinder streiten...

Si vous cherchez du 7.1 suround passer votre chemin : FAKE 7.1 suround
Point positif:
-Casque léger, avec micro détachable.
Point négatif:
-Pour les personnes ayant des oreilles sensible, un bruit électronique se fait entendre quand le logo LED RAZER sur le coté change de couleur, le seul moyen de le faire disparaitre est d’éteindre complétement le logo LED via l’application CHROMA de RAZER.
une fois les logo éteint , c'est un très bon casque STEREO avec un micro qui permet de régler clairement le son d'entrée.
Attention à la fausse publicité concernant ce casque. c' est un casque STEREO uniquement dans les faits!
Il est vendu comme étant surround 7.1 et THX spatial, mais ce casque n'est pas vendu avec un coupon 7.1 suround pour l'activer et surtout il n'est pas compatible réellement 7.1, c'est virtualisé. Dans les fait il n'a que 2 haut parleur (et pas 8).
Après contact avec le support RAZER qui ne veut rien entendre aux arguments de publicité mensongère, aucune solution d’échange n'est proposée.
Bref si vous cherchez du 7.1 surround passer votre chemin, si vous voulez un casque stéréo sans LED, il est très bien.

Awful compared to the regular kraken do not recommend
I had two Razer Kraken's in the past as I felt that they were a really good headset so when I was looking for a new one and saw this on offer it seemed like a great deal being discounted alongside the Kraken at the same price
I have used this for less than an hour and in comparison to the Kraken it's horrible the cushions are not comfortable and the volume wheel does not work for my ps5 so i instead have to adjust in-game I do not recommend I'd rather use the regular Kraken than this V3 and will likely be returning it expected much better from razer

crackling audio
crackling audio no matter what you do, uninstall thx, re install synapse, realtek drivers, whatever u do u will get some random crackling noise which makes them unusable for a long period of time, they sound good, thx audio is a silly gimmick, microphone is not amazing by default, slightly better if you mess with the eq, overall the headset has a flaw and i wouldnt reccomend. Stay away from usb a headsets

Jusqu'à maintenant j'avais un Casque Kraken. J'avais pris la décision de passer au casque Razer Kraken V3, quel erreur...
J'avais vu des avis négatifs mais je me suis dit "Mais non ça va fonctionner" je me suis trompé forcé de le constaté.
Le son: Une catastrophe, quand on écoute de la musique on se demande si on est pas dans une pièce vide...
Le micro: Ahlala le micro, que dire? Une daube? Une grosse daube? Une énorme daube serait tout à fait approprié.
On a beau configurer le micro au mieux ce ne sera toujours pas correct.
Bref, déçu... vraiment déçu.
Je le renvois immédiatement à Amazon et je me rachète un casque Kraken de base.
Ne faites pas la même erreur que moi ;)

Il s'agit d'un reconditionné vedu comme un neuf !
Très déçu par le fait que j'ai commandé un article neuf alors que c'est un reconditionné qui m'a été envoyé. Pas très classe même si l'état est très bon.

Twice faulty, constant sound from left ear.
Whenever the chroma is on a bright colour there's a constant electrical sound coming from the left ear. I ordered a replacement and the exact same thing happens. There's another reviewer here that said the same thing, so I guess it's a hardware fault on this model. It's good if you turn off the chroma, but not really what it's sold for.

Horrendous for FPS Gaming.
As a competitive FPS player, I thought these might be great.
I was wrong. VERY WRONG.
The sound is muffled, and the audio mix is TERRIBLE. I turned off spatial sound as it made things terrible, but the general audio mix is awful, everything is mushed together is a veritable swamp of sound making it impossible to pick out key sounds such as footsteps, or even being able to tell where gunshots are coming from.
I'm going back to HyperX and would recommend anyone else to do the same.
These headphones are actually terrible. Really bad product that is 100% not worth the price.
