Very comfortable mouse and excellent responsiveness. Never had a Razer mouse previously but I can understand the hyper as it's a very nice product and the customisation via their Synapse software is very straightforward. Recommended!
EDITED - 18.08.2020 - For the first couple of weeks the mouse was brilliant but it eventually started double clicking (physically) and it felt as if there was a crunching/clicking with every click. Got to the stage this was unbearable and now doesn’t register clicks properly. Extremely disappointed considering I spent £60.00 on this. Looks nice but I’d cheaply made and the outer shell is very creaky/weak feeling after a while of use. Very disappointed and have gone back to Logitech.

V2 is a lot better than V1
Well hopefully find this interesting as the Death Adder V2 is actually a decent step up from the previous model which I bought about 3 years ago and still going strong.
The first point about the DeathAdder 2 is that the mouse skates (feet) feel a lot smoother than on the Deathadder 1 and they feel a lot more durable. Also having replaced the skates on my V1 the process for replacement (not that you would need to for a couple of years) looks a lot more simple with only two strips that you would have to fit.
The software from Razer is good but please be aware that it can cause lag issues in some games, so some people choose to install the software, setup the mouse to their specs and then uninstall the software. The mouse will store profile on the device which means... you can actually take it to somewhere else and it will behave exactly like it does on your pc! Great if you fancy having a lan or using the mouse on a device that does not have the software installed.
I'm really happy with the quality of the mouse, I have long fingers and the mouse is very comfortable to hold but it feels lighter which helps with movement. If you are happy with the V1 I'd urge you to try out the V2 as I am really happy with the upgrade, the speed of the mouse and new lighter weight make it worth the money. If you liked the V1 you'll love the V2 :)

15 year Razer user - Everything the V1 should have been.
I have been using Razer mice since 2005, this was my first new mouse since 2011, so it was a big deal for me.
I tried the V1 Elite in a couple of shops and was massively disappointed with the build quality compared to my older models.
Unfortunately an over-zealous canine friend rendered my main mouse unusable, so I was forced to make a decision. I saw there was a V2 version of this mouse and it was on special offer, so I thought, why not?
What can I say? This mouse is absolutely amazing in every respect - I wish I had bought one sooner!
The look and feel is classic Razer, and they have clearly ironed out the quality issues and upgraded the feel of the mouse compared to the V1.
I'm chuffed to bits with this mouse, it's so much better than I ever thought it would be, especially coming from a long history of Razer products. They knocked it out of the park. Get one.

Great for FPS
For FPS games, this is without a doubt one of the best mice you could use.
Thanks to the pads on the bottom, it really glides over a mousemat and is highly customisable with regards to DPI using the Razer Synapse software. The RGB lighting is subtle, with the logo and scroll wheel lighting up, and also customisable.
Two programmable buttons on the right hand side that are naturally where your thumb would rest.

Amazing Mouse - V2
Firstly, I want to say I haven't ever owned a gaming mouse and I was previously using a logitech standard office mouse for gaming.
Okay so I have been playing Rainbow Six Siege for about 4 hours and in between rounds just testing the accuracy by moving it to certain places on the screen. All i can say is wow the difference is huge! I was already an average player using the office mouse but this thing is taking me to the top of the table in game.
This thing is accurate and it's easy to control. I would say i have smallish to medium hands and this fits my hand perfectly to the point that after 4 hours my wrist still feels comfortable. When i used the office mouse my wrist would hurt after a couple hours of gaming. The buttons press nice to, it's quite a satisfying feeling.
When you connect your mouse to your PC/Laptop the software installation pops up. There is a lot of bloatware but you can just install the basic software like i did. This allows you to change the colours and DPI settings and it's very straight forward.
The cable is another bonus. It's really thick and i can't imagine it breaking anytime soon as it's heavy duty. This is a complaint i see on other gaming mouse reviews.
I was originally going to go for the Deathadder Elite but then i saw the V2 and watched loads of youtube videos. All said the V2 was better. I guess it should be as it is more expensive.
Does it look durable? I would say so. I really don't know how gaming mice should feel but so it feels like it will last some time. But i guess only time will tell for now i'll give it five stars.
I would say this mouse is worth it if you want to up your gaming but you don't want to blow the bank spending £100+.
Also i read the sensor the V2 is the same sensor used on much more expensive mice!
Edit 29/03/2021 - Just wanted to let you guys know I am still going strong with this mouse. I am actually a Platinum player on Rainbow Six Siege now so I am happy. One thing I would say some grime does build up on the side buttons if you use them over time. I would give the mouse a quick wipe once a week just to keep it clean, I think it's the material that causes that issue other than that it's all good.

The main body plastic feels cheap and nasty. Go for Mamba instead.
Ordered to replace my donkeys years old Mamba as the right click was finally giving up. Photos looked nice and shape is the same as my old Mamba which i find comfortable.
After opening it quickly became clear the plastic used felt cheap and nasty compared to my old Mamba. The mouse is comfy enough but quality feels severely lacking for a mouse that cost over £65. It feels like the materials could make a mouse costing in the £15 range which is severely disappointing. No nice grippy plastic as on my old Mamba, no nice side grips, general feel is cheap and nasty.
I returned this and ordered a wireless Mamba instead. The plastic and side grips feel a LOT more premium so I'd strongly suggest going for the Mamba instead. Wired or wireless version.

Bad mouse - worse than deathadder 1
right...if you have normal to large sized hands this mouse is to small for you - if you have little hands you may like it....for me...i hate it - its far to small and the worse thing is the twist it has resulting in your fingers at a weird angel that results in finger pain - really bad design and product off razer - i buy all razer products but i have gone back to my old deathadder which is far superior to this new version -
for me its unuseable as causes hand pain due to the stupid twist it makes like a boomerrang - i have no issues with first deathadder old model - this one is awful. I wont be buying a razer mouse next time.

Game changer for me
Half way through Far Cry 5 and was having trouble aiming with the MS Sidewinder X5 I have been using for 10+ years so thought I would see what the latest and greatest was in the mouse world. It would appear I am more fingertip grip than claw grip, definitely not palm, and the X5 is too big for my smallish hands (size 9 work glove). I wanted a mouse with the latest technology, highest resolution etc which this Deathadder V2 Mini doesn't quite have but the size sold it to me. It works perfectly, very light, much more comfortable and manouverable. I have suddenly become much better and quicker at aiming in the game. I have only stuck the grips on the sides as it is virtually unusable without, not the buttons. Build quality seems fine. Also treated myself to a Razer soft gaming mouse mat which is very comfy and slick, never thought I would buy a mouse mat as I usually use a piece of paper which I can replace when the cats have left muddy paw prints! PS The problem with my Sidewinder was a hair in the hole where the leds are but much happier with a smaller mouse.

Almost perfect
Having been a creature of habit and always replacing the old deathadders with new ones when it breaks I got to try out this years model. So a small review from the last one.
First off the good points:
- The ergonomics are still there, though I think they've further refined it
- The lighting on the logo and mouse wheel is much nicer
- The mouse feet/skates are SO smooth now, it glides across my mouse mat
- The anti-tangle wire works well but I would still use a mouse bungee
The bad:
- These have the new optical mouse switches, the left click feels very nice, but the right mouse button feels spongey. At times I'm not sure if I have pressed on it but I have. It doesn't click as nicely.
- The side buttons have a new texture on them, almost grippier but it feels spongey again to press
- The right side of the mouse will creak if you're a fingertip grip person. Palm users will be ok I think.

Having used this now for more than a year now, much of what I have said still remains true however some has degraded over time and use.
The creaking on the right side has gotten worst. The quality of the mouse body feels cheaper in comparison to the previous model. The mouse wheel feels looser now and not in a nice feeling way. The right mouse button still feels different to the left click for some reason.
Whilst upgrades were done for new models, I feel they skimped in areas.

Perfect for palm grip
I use palm grip with medium hands and the mouse feels very comfortable, smooth and responsive. The buttons are all large and easy to find yet you never seem to press them by accident. The wire is flexible and uninvasive and the RGB looks great. The only negative is that the software was a bit of a pain to use but as soon as you work it all out you can uninstall it all and run on the onboard memory anyway. Highly recommended.

A Superb All Round Mouse
I bought this to complete my new gaming rig and I am delighted with it. I'm quite particular about the shape of the mouse I use because I have to use one several hours per day. This fits in my hand perfect, is very responsive, and deadly accurate.
I am used to heavier mouse, but this is almost perfect.

I love this mouse
I had a c***air ir***law which was supposed to be designed for those with larger hands, it wasn't, it hurt after a while. To add insult to injury the wheel stopped working, and looking it up on youtube that is a common problem with the brand. This, although smaller feels absolutely great and I have not had an issue with the wheel.

Sleek and accurate gaming mouse
I purchased the Razer Deathadder V2 for my partner who plays long hours on his computer and he can't find any faults to it. It is great for online gaming and makes such a difference to the previous mouse he had. The packaging arrived perfectly and everything looks good. Definitely a great purchase.

Absolute beast of a gaming mouse. I play warzone and apex legends competitively, this is what I use along with a XXL mousepad. RGB is customizable, DPI, macros (don't use them for gaming) scroll wheel sensitivity. It's a great mouse that has 0 flaws and isn't overpiced like all gaming equipment now. Would recommend.

Switched from Razer Deathadder Chroma, couldn't be happier, they upgraded the grips, which is sick!
The previous models had issues with the grips, due to them falling off, and leaving sticky residue.
You can not go wrong with a Razer product, can not recommend it enough.

Rubbish, only lasted a month.
Only had this for just over a month and the right mouse button is worn out already. For the price this is not acceptable. Tried to sort out a return or refund through amazon and its impossible as the instructions don't match up with what you see on screen!

its a good mouse overall
its a good mouse overall, fits in the hand nicely, smooth to move but the only dislike i have is the fact this is the 2nd time ive bought the mouse and this is also the 2nd time ive had a double clicking issue and the mouse wheel starts to mess up (eg. i scroll down but what happens is it continuously goes up and down messing up gaming wise when switching weapons or when im on a browser)

Great product. But. Durability and after sales are no guarantee.
Great product, feels great, looks great, works great. But that's all useless. Why? You may ask. Razer claims 50 million clicks per button. Rubbish. I've used it about 300 hours and my right click function isn't responding correctly any more. Fine there's warranty. Wrong. Razer won't pick up the calls or the number is unavailable. I'm deeply disappointed. At least if you can't make a product durable make the after sales services existent and good.

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Only buy this mouse if you don't mind blowing 5k on an excellent experience that lasts temporarily : it has a 2 year warranty but for a heavy user like me it started having problems in half a year so if you want a mouse(which can be repaired/replaced under 2yr warranty) go for g304 wireless. BUT this is better in every aspect grip,ergonomics and the paint quality used is also better over here.

Excellent value for money product with precise movement
This is probably the best budget wireless mice out there, battery lasts for a month using 12-14hrs/day, no problems with tracking, no sleep/wake issues, movement is very smooth and mouse is comfortable to use as well.

- es ligero con todo y la batería AA
- le puedes variar la velocidad como a cualquier otro.
- de buena calidad el material
- funciona por Bluetooth convencional también.
Contras:
- no tiene RGB
- no tiene botón para Bajar dpi’s, solamente un único botón que da la vuelta a todos los dpi’s configurados.
En general es un mouse excelente para jugar o para trabajar ya que es discreto, si buscas un mouse inalámbrico cómodo y sin gastar un dineral es una buena opción, si necesitas rgb no es la opción, yo lo compre para jugar en mi laptop sin conectar usb que es un poco incomodo.

Porfin un mouse inalámbrico bueno!
Tengo una semana con el y estoy Fascinado, es muy cómodo, ligero y no Tiene ni un solo retraso al jugar. Dura muy bien la batería y las luces son bastante brillantes, había usado mas mouse inalámbrico y siempre me dejaban inconforme y este vino a cambiar todo!

Excelente opción, pero no compatible con Mac al 100%
En general es un buen producto, bastante ergonómico y con un buen diseño, el único problema que encontré es la compatibilidad del software Synapse 3 de Razer con Mac, en este momento no hay una versión compatible con Mac por lo cual el mouse no se puede customizar como se debe en este momento y Synapse 2 no es compatible con el Basilisk Ultimate, espero pronto haya una versión para Mac.

Decidí comprar este mouse por el precio accesible, pero ya probándolo no me gustó el sonido de los clicks,se escuchan fuertes, graves y de baja calidad. De igual forma este mouse no es tan sensible como el g502, probándolo detalladamente simplemente se siente movimientos toscos del puntero en la pantalla, ni ajustándolo con su programa de raez r queda bien, no lo recomiendo, mejor me voy con logitech.

Calidad y buen precio
Creo que es la mejor compra que eh hecho en un mouse.
El precio es bastante bueno por la calidad que tiene, desde el momento del agarre se nota la calidad que tiene, bajando el software de Razor se puede cambiar el DPI de acuerdo a tus necesidades.
Dado a que solo es un boton se hace wrap al llegar a la 5 posición, suena tedioso pero se acostumbra uno facil.

Excelente mouse
Realice el cambio de un Logitech g502 a este Razer Basilisc V2 y al principio me costo un poco el acostumbrarme, ya que el logitech se siente mas solido y es mas pesado, en un principio se sentía de menor calidad el razer, pero con el uso me fui acostumbrando a su peso y los botones, es muy ligero y la sensación en uso por tiempo prolongado no llega a cansar (como el otro). Se puede programar fácilmente y también se regular la fricción de la rueda a un punto muy suave, que eso si, extrañe bastante la función de la rueda infinita de logitech.
El software de razer (Synapse) es fácil de usar, el cordón que se conecta vía USB es tejido pero bastante suave y ligero, lo cual en un momento dado, crea la sensación de un raton tipo wireless, ya que no lo sientes al moverlo de un lado a otro

De los mejores mouses en la actualidad, 100%
Después de haber utilizado este mouse algunas semanas para jugar videojuegos intensos como BF5, Cyberpunk 2077 y, especialmente, los Sims 4, puedo concluir que nunca había usado un mouse más cómodo que este. Es simplemente perfecto para mis manos y mis requisitos.
Sí, el precio puede ser bastante elevado comparado con la competencia pero al usarlo un par de veces en tus juegos preferidos, te das cuenta que de en verdad vale la pena y el precio es justificable.
El control que proporciona este ratón es estupendo, la rueda tiene una sensación extraña pero satisfactoria, los botones laterales son bastante útiles, el RGB es excelente, se ve muy elegante pero a la vez extravagante cuando lo enciendes, y la base de carga es un toque magnífico, carga bastante rápido el mouse (¡y también tiene RGB! El futuro es hoy).
Otro dato importante es la batería. Fácilmente me dura un par de días de uso sin que se agote la carga y aunque se agote, el tiempo de carga es mínimo.
Razer synapse no es un dolor de cabeza como las demás personas dicen, al menos en mi experiencia. Sería padre poder usar el mouse sin Synapse pero realmente no hay ningún inconveniente substancial como para quejarme de la aplicación. Es bastante útil en ciertas ocasiones.
En general, le doy un 10 a este mouse razer. Súper cómodo, preciso y ligero, y perfecto para cualquier jugador que necesite un mouse completo para todo tipo de juego.
Nota: mis manos son relativamente pequeñas. Miden aproximadamente 18 centímetros de la punta de mi dedo del medio hasta la base de mi muñeca, y 7.5 centímetros de ancho (la base de los dedos) y sentí el mouse muy cómodo.

Se nota la calidad.
El diseño del mouse es calcado al G502 lo cual es muy bueno si tienes la mano medianamente grande, el agarre es cómodo y el peso se siente bien. La calidad de materiales es muy buena y el consumo de batería es minimo, e incluso puedes mejorarlo desde el software de Razer que te permite configurar el mouse para que se suspenda después de cierto tiempo inactivo (bastará con moverlo un poco para que se vuelva a activar)
El único detalle que le encuentro es que en un par de ocasiones dejó de detectarme el puntero y tuve que extraer la batería o reiniciar la PC, pero esto ha sido solamente un par de veces en los varios días que lo he estado utilizando.
Se echa en menos un poco de estilización ya que es completamente negro, incluso el logo de razer y siendo que en mouse más baratos como el G302 tienen el lightsync, ya que copiaron el diseño de otro mouse pudieron haber copiado el RGB también, puedes tenerlo por un costo extra pero se eleva al doble solo por unas pocas luces.

Muy ergonomico, pero si buscas con luces RGB no es la opción.
La verdad es que es un muy buen mouse, si lo que buscas es comodidad.
Ahora, si lo que esperas (como yo) es un mouse que sea tipo gamer, es mejor que busques otra opción. No tiene luces. Por el precio creo no debería depender de una pila AA. Es bueno, pero puedes adquirir algo mucho mejor por ese precio.

Buen mouse pero por precio hay mejores
No me gustó que se sentía un material muy barato para mi gusto, lo compre a un precio relativamente barato pero por ese precio es mucho mejor el logitech hero502, mejores materiales, se puede agregar peso al mouse, tiene más botones y un rgb que es un pequeño detalle.

IMPRESIONANTE
Yo lo uso tanto para gaming como uso diario, en ambos me encuentro un resultado excepcional. El tercer botón parece frágil pero no lo es. Lo único que me gustaría que mejoraran es que el click derecho se siente un poco suelto. No es nada malo, se acostumbra uno pero al principio es molesto.
