Had a friend with good experience with Plantronics. Unfortunately, I immediately ordered a Legend for my new iPhone 5 before the now extensively documented problems with the Legend were publicized. Everyone I've asked says the sound quality is terrible, and it constantly drops its connection with the phone.Additional information: Go to [...] where at the bottom of the page there should be a floating link to "Subscribe to updates" - the link should then popup a window to enter your email address in order to subscribe: "By entering an email address below you are agreeing to receive updates from Plantronics regarding iPhone5/iOS 6 and Bluetooth headset compatibility as they become available."

I have had great luck with this device. It is lightweight, has good tone, and people say they hear me clearly. Only issue I have is the pickup and answer feature is not always consistent and I do get some static if I get any distance away from my phone. But still a great device.

I tried several lower priced hands free headsets, but background noice was very loud for person receiving calls from me.Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth Headset eliminates most noice. I would recommend to anyone looking for hands free options.

I replaced a Plantronics Voyager HD with the Legend unit. I was totally happy with the HD Unit, until I tried the Legend. What makes it better: Unbelievable BlueTooth Range, Great Voice Reconition OnLine or Off. Very sexy magnetic coupling of the power cord to the earpiece.

This is my second headset from Plantronics. The first was the Pro an I loved it but unfortunately I lost it. I purchased this newer model and it is even better than the my previous one. Sound is crystal clear and people on the other end even know you are using a headset. The sleek design is nice an the new button configuration is great. The battery like is great at 7 hours of talk time. Some people don't like the new charging cable. I myself like the way it connects but they definfinitely need to make the cable much longer. I am not sure the logic in making it do short. Overall you will not find a better headset out there.

The guy at ATT store recommended this headset. It pairs beautifully with my iphone 5. It is the best headset I have ever owned. call Quality is great. Great battery life. Bought 2 more from Amazon as gifts. No cons to this headset. charges quick too.

I had a Voyager for almost 2 years but finally left it in a hotel somewhere. I was happy with my Plantronics Voyager so I imediately bought the latest generation the legend. Love the headset but what in the world is Plantronics thinking by using a non-standard (proprietary) charger! So now I have to carry this 5" cable around rather than using the micro USB all my other devices use (and the previous Voyager I owned). Really a let down unless you can always charge it at home and leave your cable stationary. Something more to pack, haul around and keep track of = No Thanks.I am returning the headset because of this fatal flaw.

the, only problem was , nt amazon error was ship with out cable charger cord that goes to wall socket, n ear part. call manufactor , they said would send the cable free of charge, n 3 wking days.

I got this for my boyfriend as a birthday/christmas gift, had it mailed over night and he loved it. Works great, has an impressive battery life, and fits really comfortable. Thank you for your business.

The best Bluetooth I have ever owned. It’s simple to operate. Lots of hands free functions. Fits comfortable behind the ear. Also, clear sending/receiving messaging. I would recommend this Bluetooth to anyone. EB

Just got my second Legend as i had to send back the first as it had heavy distortion/clicking for all incoming callers. The proprietary adapter is a really crazy move on Plantronics part...it really makes no sense for them to have switched off of the standard micro usb of the Voyager. Test calls with my second Legend have callers saying there is a much more electronic/garbled sound to my voice. My suggestion is to get the Voyager Pro HD till Plantronics fix this... Very disappointed as I have never had a bad experience with Plantronics before and I have had most every top end headset they have made to date....

We replaced a Jawbone earpiece with this. In addition to better comfort, the clarity is superb. I'm on the receiving end of the calls and I frequently was unable to hear/understand my spouse - so I would just end the call. No issues at all with this earpiece, it's always clear.

Plantronics makes the very best bluetooth around. People often comment that you sound like you're in the same room. Excess noise is drastically reduced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I only use Plantronics headsets and the Voyager Legend is the best one I have used. It's smaller than the HD Pro, its has a longer battery life, it tells me how much battery life is remaining, it tells me who is calling (if name is in my phone contacts), it asks if I want the call answered, the new power on/off switch is easier to use, yes - it does have a new proprietary charger but it charges quickly, and people I am talking to tell me the sound quality is much better.

Another great headset from Plantronics Voyager series, cool new features, but...Uses a new proprietary charger connector on a 5-inch cable. So now instead of charging via mini USB chargers I have all over the place, I have to keep track of this little squib, reach behind the sofa or desk to plug it in, won't connect to mini plug on travel chargers, etc. if I forget it on a trip, I won't be able to pick up a replacement at the corner store.Returning it for the HD model and hoping Plantronics comes to their senses. If there's a solution I'm not seeing, I will gladly update or edit this review.Correction: To be precise, previous headsets are *micro* USB plug, not mini USB plug.

This is a item the works exactly as it is promoted. The video info is dead on and very informative. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a handsfree device. It has a clear and precise sound system. The only downfall I have found with the unit is it can be a little difficult to get it to voice activate the answering system. You have to speak very loudly. It is not enough of a problem for me not to still recommend it.

Outstanding! Great Performance! Comfortable!This headset is by far the best I have ever owned. I have purchased many over the last couple of years; probably three on average every single year. They all worked, but they all had something wrong with them that made me want to try another one. Not this one! And with seven hours of actual talk time I never worry about it giving out on me.

I'm in love with this headset. I'm in sales and production, and having hands free for hours at a time is vital, as is conducting business over the phone. Comfortable enough to wear for 4 or 5 hours with no trouble whatsoever. Totally in tune with Siri on my iPhone. Case doubles as a charger, and the 7 hour battery life is long enough for a work day. Cannot recommend this headset enough.

I have Voyager Pro UC v2 and also bought Legend. I have been trying to use Voyager Legend on iPhone 5. Listening podcast, music etc. works fine but phone calls are terrible. Legend disconnects during calls. This happened many times and I am really frustrated now. I like Voyager products but this problem must be fixed asap. I do not recommend Legend for iPhone-5 users,you will not be able to use it for calls.Update 10/11/2012;I upgraded the firmware and I still have the same problem. Do not buy this item if you have iPhone-5.

This product has lived up to its expectations. It is plenty loud enough, I have had no complaints of background noise, battery life is 7 hours of talk time, standby time seems like days and it stays on my ear throughout my work day of electrical contracting. Due to my own busy schedule I have not had the time to troubleshoot why it does not announce Caller ID when I receive calls from callers that I have in my Cell Phones Contact List.

I love my new Legend headset. It allows me to chat hands-free in my car or while doing jobs around the house. I appreicate how easy it is to set up and I love the rechargable case! I just keep this little device in my purse at all times. A must have!

Sleek redesign and look, love the magnetic charger (wish the charging cord was a bit longer), call clarity is crisp, call announcement and voice command features all work like a charm! Definitely a must buy for enthusiasts and professionals!
