Simple to use, reliable, well thought out cordless phone to expand your KX-TG9542B
Simple to use, easy to add on phone for any KX-TG954x phone system. Pairing is as easy as holding down the locator button on your base station and following the prompts on the handset when first plugged in. Clear, easy to use and with a nice big display, this is a great cordless phone.
NOTE - you cannot use the phone without an existing KX-TG954x system (ie KX-TG9542B, or KX-TG9543B, KX-TG9544B etc). The base station is what converts from DECT 6.0+ to a copper phone line. This is useless on its own.

Base charger plug missing.
I'm replacing a older Panasonic system and the new phone sure does not appear to have the quality of the old system but far more features. One of the problem I ran into is the base charger does not have a plug on it. I had to cut and splice the power line to get it to install threw counter top holes I had for the old system. I hope it holds up for the many years the old system did.

Poor volume...
There is no volume. The volume goes only to 4 bars where it has 5 bars. I called Panasonic and they said that they only it to go up to 4 as it could be too loud and would be a liability for someones hearing... I was told this by the customer service. I think that is what he said as it was too low for me to completely hear it.; To add injury to the complaint. Sometimes I find that if you do not totally hold it straight to your ear, it will lose volume of 50% down as you hold it..
And there is no way to put the call on hold.

After almost a month of use, I still cannot figure out their user interface
Handset batteries go flat after 24 hours off cradle but not even used. It takes SEVEN different button pushes to simply listen to and delete one voice message. I've yet to be able to record a personalized answering machine greeting and instruction. Far and away, the most complex, incomprehensible user interface I've EVER encountered.

Nice system
I got this for our small retail store, it replaced an rca system that we had for years. We like the call quality and the ease of use, I haven't figured out how to check to see what calls came in, the cid seems to display only missed calls, but I'm sure I just need to read the manual. I like that the batteries will be easily replaceable. Everything seems sturdy and well made, so far so good.

Great addition to our phone "collection"
Purchasing another handset for our existing system was a fantastic idea. Now, one of us can run off to another room, taking a handset along, without sacrificing the other needed handsets elsewhere in the house. It, like its older counterparts, works like a charm!

Great addition to my current setup. Good, two line, cordless phones are hard to find. I'm happy with this set.
Works great with the rest of my system. Like with a smartphone, it takes a little time to figure out how to access all the features, but it gets much easier with use. We now have a base, three handsets, and their range extender, overall it is a great phone system. Cordless two-line phones can be hard to find, especially new ones. If you're looking for a two-line cordless phone, your search is over. Buy this setup, it's the best one I could find.

So far so good. Still learning all the features. Beautiful metallic black color and updated styling. My 1 negative comment is that there is no hard key HOLD button. You have to go into MENU then scroll to HOLD. That is inconvenient. I knew this ordering it but it was the best model I could find with 2 lines. Other than that 1 issue...seems to be great.

Extra handset was needed to replace a corded phone in the bedroom that was no longer displaying information on the caller ID.
Judging from past experience with the previous purchase, these phones have served us well. They offer many bells and whistles, some of which we do not use. The call quality is good and batteries hold the charge for calls lasting three hours or more - Not that anyone in our household talks that long and admits it!

Small is not better.
I have reviewed the Panasonic phone system I purchased. The one think I forgot to comment on is the
size of the phone. For older, arthritic hands, or the want or need to tuck this phone between shoulder and
head, this phone is not comfortable. The industry thinks that smaller is better because the technology allows
it. But a small phone with a rounded back is not comfortable in your hand for a nice long conversation with a friend,
nor easy to use between head and shoulder if you have to take a message using both hands to hold a piece of paper and a pencil.

REPLACEMENT HAS A FEW DIFFERENT ISSUES, BUT STILL USELESS
Phone will not register with my working & existing base unit. Phone keeps saying no power at base even after charging on its base and the main phone base. The phone WORTHLESS.

Works with our Older Version - just not interchangable on our older bases
We needed to replace a handset and I'm happy this handset did work with our current older version base. It synced even though I wasn't able to "charge on base". So keep the new charging station when it comes!

Does not fit into charger of the main unti
We bought the new Panasonic wireless phone system. We then discovered that we needed one additional phone. When we ordered the phone from Amazon, the one we got came with its own charger but did not fit into any of the other chargers that we had received with the system tht we purchased just weeks before.

Excellent sound, slight answering delay
An added phone to a larger Panasonic cell phone system. These units can be programed to answer upon lifting, but there is a noticeable delay, which takes some getting used to. Otherwise, excellent sound quality.

Needed an extra hand set for my home system...this works just like the ones that came with it, and fit right in. Sounds good, works the same...what more could I ask for?

Good sound quality. Easy to use. Previous Panasonic cordless phones lasted a long time so I've depended on their quality for so many years which is why I bought another Panasonic.

Buyer beware
This item was sold to me as an additional handset for a already 6 handset system. This was deceptive sale as original system it was sold with could only accommodate a total of 6 handsets . So a seventh should not have been put with the main set as system can't have 7 . Wasted money .and time

Great two-line handset. Good battery life, clear signal.
Best two-line capable handset on the market. I've tried them all and this is the best one. Includes features like being able to name handsets, multiple ring tones (though most are pretty cheesy), and really long battery life. I posted a much longer review for the Panasonic two-line phone system.

Good product from Panasonic
I purchased a Panasonic Single Line 2.4GHz KX-TG3611SX Digital Cordless Telephone from the seller Target A2Z through Amazon. The packaging of the product was nice and as per Amazon advt. The product was in a sealed pack and new one. I received a handset, base station, charging adapter and 2 nos. rechargeable AAA cells along with a operation manual and a bill. There was no signed warranty card inside from the seller. Regarding the quality of the product, it is still working fine after constant use of last 60 days. The sound quality is fine. There is a speaker phone mode, though the sound is not that loud. There is no backlit display on the dialpad. The range is very good and easily covering my whole villa of 2500 Sq. Ft. without diminishing the quality. There is no interference with adjacent modem or other electronic gadgets around on the voice quality. But the base station must be always connected to power line, most preferably to UPS, otherwise there will be no incoming or outgoing call even if the handset runs on rechargeable batteries. There is no requirement of always keeping the handset connected to base station while not in use. The handset runs 48 hrs even if u don't charge it. For the first time use, u need to charge it for 7 hrs minimum. The display LED is clear and shows the incoming and outgoing calls. Phonebook software is very low grade and not much user friendly. There is a call and charging alert LED on top of the handset. The ringtones are not that loud and may not be audible from distance. The handset and the base station should be kept away from dust, otherwise it creates trouble in charging. Charging connectors must be kept clean. Another big issue is the after sales service. There are a very few service centres of Panasonic authorised for handset service. The common service centres of Panasonic for TV, refrigerators etc. in your city won't entertain complaint for the cordless handset if any. So, be mentally prepared beforehand if you are NOT residing in major metro cities. The phone overall performance is good till now as expected from a low budget cordless phone. But regarding after sales service do not expect much as support.

I am reviewing this product after 3 years of use. Even today it is working fine and no problem encountered so far.
#Sound quality - /Clear and crisp but loudness is average.
#Network /Range quality -Good
#Display - Calculator type display with orange light
#Battery backup - Average, not that great (2 AAA rechargeable batteries are used, and they are user-replaceable )
#Function/Features - Not too many features, have only some basic features, like that time setting, save contract numbers up to 100,10 types of ringtone etc.
Its receiver doesn’t have any battery backup this works only if power supply continue. So plug it in the socket that has inverter backup supply.
MY OVERALL RATING FOR THIS PHONE IS 7.5 OUT OF 10

I'm so disappointed in Panasonic
I'm so disappointed in Panasonic. The speaker system is third rate. In order to hear incoming calls, I have to use speaker phone. I have always purchased Panasonic products and find this model below their normal standard.

The range I pathetic! its a very very very bad product. I would suggest not wasting your money on this. It does not even give a proper range of 10 feet! its not really cordless if you are unable to talk from anywhere you want. Standing next the receiver hardly qualifies as cordless. Its a joke!

Nice product
I've used a Gigaset phone before this. It sounded better than this, but it's display went off quite early. This Panasonic one sounds just fine for normal use, but if you hear the Gigaset once, you'll like that more. Let's see how much this one will last. The build quality and display etc are just fine. I like the feature of the charging light going off when the phone is completely charged. I missed such a feature in Gigaset.

Nice cordless landline which turns into a dead-phone during a power cut
Beware! This phone literally doesn't work without electric supply despite having batteries. It's like having a nice cordless landline which turns into a dead-phone when there is a power cut at home. Here are some drawbacks that made me send the product back: (1) display light cannot be controlled and is lit for only 5 - 10 seconds, (2) ringer volume isn't that great, (3) speaker is not loud enough as you would expect, (4) the battery charge drains very quickly, (end). And yeah, the only cool thing about this phone is the Sci-Fi sound that it makes when you're on a call with someone and the power gets cut. I bet you'll like it.

works well with the system it was designed to work with (hmm awkward sentence, but whatever) Anyhow, it paired quickly and easily with the system. Last Panasonic phone system I bought I got an additional handset and had to call Panasonic to be told how to pair it (and they charged seven dollars for telling me how to pair it)

Feeble sound and small fonts.
This is an ok product , not a great one .
I purchased it because we live in a duplex house and the base station is at the ground floor while parent live on the first floor. The overall build quality of the product is good and the has decent battery life but there are some issues .
If you have older people in the house , and they will primarily use this , then this is not a good choice as the audio from the headset is NOT LOUD ENOUGH , so older people will have trouble understanding what is being said without turning on the hands free loudspeaker mode.
Similarly the the fonts on the LCD display are too small for senior citizens to read .
buy only if the primary users have young sharp ears and good eyesight.

THIS WORKS VERY WELL
I NEEDED A SECOND HANDSET , ONE FOR ALL DAY AND A SECOND ONE FOR NIGHT WHEN I PUT THE ORIGINAL ONE ON THE CHARGER . THIS WORKED OUT PERFECTLY , ALSO AS INTERCOMS BETWEEN HANDSETS . I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE . A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT JUST WHAT I NEEDED .

Overall a good product.

Zalmer advertises these as Panasonic DECT 6.0 Accessory 2 Line Bluetooth Handset for KX-TG954 Series with Backlit Keypad and Talking Caller ID - These do not have Talking Caller ID. They are Panasonic KX-TGA950B.

I recommend not to buy because
By the brand and low press, it may be your first choice. you can also see "Amazon Choice" label also. I did the same mistake and purchased the product , but after opening I found lots issues.
1. Display color is Dark Orange , very difficult to read the black letter.
2. Display size is too small
3. Font size also very small, very difficult for old age people to read the letter , sometimes younger people also.
4. No Backlight in Keypad , cant find button in dark.
5. No Intercom feature in this model, I cannot add additional Handset .
6. Very less Menu .

Great battery life and clear sound on cellphone link.
This purchase was for an extra handset to go with my Panasonic KX-TG9542B phone that was purchased at the same time. Very clear sound from cellphone link and handsets have great battery life.

Pros: Lots of features, link with mobile phones, ability to import address book, clear display on both base unit and handsets, voice announce of incoming calls...good for a SOHO
Cons: not able to synch address book/contact list to maintain contacts, lack of a message light for voice mail on base unit (you have to be near enough to the phone to read the display to know that you have a message waiting), instruction manual and programming of phone functions/user interface dates from the 90s PC world

Great product. sound quality and voice quality both are good. I am living in a 2 BHK flat so ringing bell and range is also not a problem for me.

Product is good but the battery is not lasting
Purchased this product but after 1month the battery doesn't fully charge spite of charging it whole night, it will show 3 bars in the display but once u lift it it will show 1 bar asking to reconnect to the base for charging.... The voice quality is good when we purchased, only issue is with the charging. May be I have been give a bad battery.
