The best value cinema system on the market. I bought this quite recently as an alternative to a large screen 3D TV & have not been disappointed, the quality of the picture is 2nd to none & the 3D using the ZF2100 system is amazing, there is no rainbow affect associated with DLP & the fan runs quiet with no sound from the colour wheel. It does however require a bit playing about with the 3D settings to get it right but once set it's stunning & stays in the projector memory. This is my 1st dabble in home cinema projectors & have been surprised at the quality of the picture even in low ambient light. It's worth shopping around online as the price varies a lot depending on the supplier.

Absolutely amazing pin sharp display. Projected onto a wall at about 120 inches. It also has the best 3-D I have ever experienced including the Cinema. Works with Optoma 3D DLP-Link glasses out of the box without any need for additional transmitters. Fan is quieter than previous projectors I have owned.

Since a while I've been looking for a full HD projector for home environment. I found this one perfect to satisfy all my requirements for a fair price. Quality of the image and features satisfy all my requirements. I couldn't expect more from my plain walls.
There are two main drawbacks. The first one is that it comes with just the power cable, nothing more. So you need to buy an HDMI or other cable. It was a surprise for me as my old projector had it. Secondly 3D glasses are quite expensive if you consider buying the original ones. If you want to experience 3D at home, you will need to buy them at some point.

HDMI 1 input failed after only 5 days. HDMI 2 is working at present. I expect something else to pack up soon.
Good picture quality, must be mounted low down.
No replacement service offered by Amazon only refund which can take up to 4 weeks.
Totally unacceptable trading practice, they take your money instantly when buying the product in the first place.
will contact Optoma directly and enquire about Replacement / Repair.
Don't buy from amazon. This projector is unreliable.

I'm really happy with this purchase, absolutely recommended enjoying every moment. the colors the picture quality everything about this projector is great, very silent too you can hardly hear the fan. Ii haven't yet tried out the 3D projection as i have yet to buy the glasses.

So I finally bought this projector after much procrastination and reading of reviews and well, I couldnt be happier. Straight out of the box it performs brilliantly. Good blacks, good colours, noise is very low specially in eco mode and the picture quality is superb. Do yourself a favor and get it, you wont be disappointed. Only fault I can come up with is that it doesnt have a lens cap.

this is my second projector. really like it. only downside is that I occasionally get the screen slightly out of focus at the top when crisp at the bottom of the image (and vice versa), Not sure if its due to the angle of projection, but its not too noticeable to ruin the overall enjoyment from watching 110" images.

Perfect image, perfect 3D! I bought this as upgrade from my Optoma HD67n and have no regrets. The image is just this bit better. Update recommended if you want the best quality, but not required for the average viewer.

Fantastic picture for the price. I have not had a projector before and I was amazed by the clarity given the cost. I couldn't have expected much more given my fairly light room and décor.
I use this though with my Onkyo 609 and stream movies thought the raspberry Pi at 1080p 3D.

What I appreciate most in this new Optoma HD is the clarity of the reflected picture, not only when looking at HD films, but also at older films as well. The other important thing is that there is hardly any noise from it, really very quiet. The remote control is also very handy. A great difference from other projectors.

i promise myself that i would wait until the new room was finished (painted carpeted ect ) to use this ,that lasted 30 minuets ,GREAT BIT OF KIT ,treat your self you'll not regret it

Silent fan and spark image.
Its my second Optoma projector and i fully recommend it if you are looking for a great home cinema experience.

TV looks pretty tame once you've projected a 12 foot wide image on your living room wall. Doesn't matter what the film is, everything that's been tested so far looks amazing!
