Shuts down though fully charged
When I got the phone, it seemed really good at first as I have a oneplus 6 phone and have had such a good experience with it and was looking to upgrade it.Then the oneplus 8 pro started shutting down randomly and it will take about 30secs to a minute to turn it back on. The final straw was when it would turn back on, finally did get it back on after several tries of holding the buttona down to power it up. Had to return the phone.

Returned - Too Many Issues for an Expensive Phone
Great battery life and quick to recharge. However, I had to return this particular phone. I was experiencing audio issues and also static sounds when I swiped my finger across the screen during a simple word game. In addition, there were frequent freeze-ups. I've had OnePlus before and it was a great phone. I'm going to assume that this particular phone (which I paid a lot of money for) was just a lemon, hopefully. There were a few other annoying things about the software, but those I could have lived with. But not the hardware issues.

Antenna and wifi are not as good as it should be for $1,000 phone
Not a bad phone, fast CPU, but connectivity is an issue. Both antenna for cell service and Wifi are not as good as on my old Huawei Mate 9

Stay away if on T-Mobile!
Band 66 which is greatly needed shows on 5g whenever its connected. Phone specs show it it has band 66 in LTE And N66 for 5G. 5G on band N66 is less than half the speed of LTE in Cleveland Ohio with this phone.But can't connect to band 66 in LTE. Also voicemail gets broken with T-mobile with this phone. Battery life settled after 3 days and was great for 2 days then started dropping quickly. At day 5 it couldn't get through a full day. Also the next update converts the phone software to a clone of Samsung UI. No more Android stock look!

Epic phone
love this phone it has a very responsive and accurate fingerprint scanner. The camera is phenomenal and the quality of this phone overall surpassed my expectations.

Very bad experience
I bought this phone as I was very happy with the 7 series. One plus 8 pro is not worth it. There are much better phones available for this price. Videos taken are soo bad . The videos taken in this phone is not viewable in the same clarity in other phones. Good for taking pictures and not videos.

They dont care enough to attempt on packaging the product with care
Poor packaging. This is how it looked when I opened the box. That single piece of paper in an oversized box getting tossed around good to know the what $800 you spend doesn't go into packing material. Will finish review after extended use of the phone but so far half tempted to return just based on the fact the phone has ben slamming around in the large box all the way here.

Not worth it. Really bad experience

THE WIRELESS WARP CHARGING IS HORRIBLE DONT BUY THE WIRELESS WARP CHARGER. DOESNT WORK PROPERLY
I can tell you that software issues and fingerprint scanner issues made this phone a horrible experience for me. Granted I used a sup case with a built in screen protector which could have caused the 2nd issue.
This phone suffers from the OS it works on. I suffered numerous crashes, typing issues and just all things consider a terrible experience on the oxygen OS.
The battery life might get you though a day...if you’re a heavy user...probably not
The OS for me and TERRIBLE customer service was the final nail in the coffin. Sold the phone and went with a note 20 ultra. Much happier with that.

GPS, navigation gestures and accidental touch.
Device is super fast. No issue with the network. Too many issues with the compass and GPS. If you frequent user of GPS, don’t buy this device. Navigation goes crazy when using on this device. Very unstable GPS. Can’t avoid accidental touch because of curved display. Navigation bar( swipe gestures is not smooth). Sometimes have to do several times for swipe gestures. This is most frustrating issue the navigation bar from the bottom isn’t really responsive.

Quite disappointed
Refered by a friend for this brand but am quite disappointed with this phone. This phone system always has some confliction with google map, used for 2 hours of google map and the screen gets stucked. Put on my dash board with power cable on for an hour, then the phone is over heated...Not suggest to purchase.
