It's a shame that this product with so good construction doesn't work propely not even one week, i bougth this one, good and beauty.... link with my smartphone... give the first charge and use about 3 days, around 3 hours day bay day... when its dischanged... i proceed to recharge with his original nokia charger and the headphones doesnt work more, no charge... and is totally new, i miss my money with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :@ not even one week works! my last bluetooth headphones was a motorola and works 1 year!!!!!!! plz don'y waste your money

This is a nice product, the sound is great. It is fairly easy to use. I can walk a pretty good distance away from my phone and it still works. Just wish it were adjustable. It is probably better size for a man, but a little loose for a woman. It didnt fall off at all, just moved around a bit more than I would prefer.

I bought this headsest for running and it fills that purpose well. I've used it just about every day for approximately 1 hour for over a year now. I've used it in all types of conditions (including light rain) and have had few problems with it.Pros: Sound quality is pretty good although bass, understandably, sucks Volume goes insanely loud for a wireless bluetooth set It will stay on your head It's aesthetically pleasing Sound quality is pretty good as far as bluetooth headsets go It's pretty darn near water proof (and it's definitely sweat proof - I sweat tons and have had none of the problems other reviewers cite)Cons: It's not the most comfortable thing (my inner ear starts to ache from the force it needs to stay on my head after about an hour to an hour and a half - making me wish it weren't so rigid) It's not the most comfortable thing - it's rigid so you can't lay down or use it it chairs with neck rests because the neck portion juts out too far - consequently the things tends to slightly bounce on your neck when running unless situated just right Syncing can be a pain between multiple devices (although it's generally pretty good) You can't just throw it in a carryall because it's rigid and the arms will break at the joints (although glue seems to work just fine at repairingAll-in-all, it's the only headset I use for running. I'm very pleased with it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for running. For anything else, if you plan to use it for more than an hour at a time i'd say look for something else.

Finally bluetooth stereo headphones that actually work great! Sound so loud you have to turn it down a little.Great fit with the earpieces that came with it even though you have the choice of 10 others.I just now put them on ,the sound is great and they are advertised for 8 hrs. of music play time which is the longest I've found. I don't know about sports or moisture but for listening these are the best.I've tried 4 different brands not one comes close.Give these a try!

This is the first and the only BT headset i've ever listened to so i can't really compare it to other BT headsets. Below i've listed several points about my impressions so far.PAIRING AND BASIC FUNCTIONALITY: Was very easy and fast with my Nokia n8 phone (also checked with iphone 3gs 4.1 - fully compatible). Quick keys to answer the calls, change volume, fast forward the songs, redial the last phone call - all work very well and found very useful. On iphone 3gs pause and forward/backward buttons worked even with youtube, i was amazed! It stays connected when i walk in my apartment to different rooms several walls away from the phone. Definitely 5 stars here!BUILT QUALITY AND COMFORT: Built quality seems solid and good looking (to me). I did't find them very comfortable though. Unfortunately you can't adjust the size of the headset. If your head is a little wide (mine is) you will probably feel some pressure on your ears. I personally bought them mostly for jogging and working out. When you jog they do shake up and down and you can't lay on a bench because you might break the headset which is upsetting. BUT, i found that if you wear them upside down things get better, they do not shake as much and you can easily lay on a bench. This also works in case you like to wear caps/hats. I'd give 3.5 stars for comfort.SOUND QUALITY: It's BT headset so don't expect very good and clear sound. Bass is too strong, while mids and lows are muddy. I listen mostly to rock/metal and you can't really hear trebles. But do not be discouraged, i've been checking high end wired denon and senn headphones for the last few days (no comparison) and got a little picky. Again, these is affordable BT device and most likely you will find this headset sound quite ok, many people actually love it compared to others. Probably 4 stars.

The headphones looked great and seemed like a good value, but after the initial charge wore off I was never able to recharge the battery ever again. The charger would connect but the light would always be red no matter how long I left it on there and the headphones were useless at that point since they couldn't hold a charge long enough to stay on for more than a second.

I have been looking for a bluetooth head set that is for both ears for a long time. I have small ears and normal singular bluetooth head sets don't stay in or on my ear. It is rather frustrating to try to do any thing when it keeps falling out. I read all the reviews for this head set only to find that every one wanted this head set only for working out. I just needed it for regular activities. So I purchased the BH-505 and couldn't be happier. It stays in my ears and on my head, it has great sound quality, NFC technology is so awesome, very comfortable, and I love that my music sounds great! I needed a head set for keeping hands free when I am doing every day activities and that is just what I got. Don't let the Nay-sayers get you down about this product. If you have a small head like me with small ears, and could never find a head set to fit you, take the time and money to check out this Nokia product. I promise you won't be disappointed.

these are some of the best headphones i have had the privilege to own. they fit really well compared to the motorola s9's and s10's that i have had. the sound is great and the mic is fairly decent too. i highly recommend these if you are looking for a reasonably priced pair of wireless headphones.

From when I first recieved my 'first pair' I loved this headset. It is stylish, connected easy and sounded great and on my frist run felt really good!! But after my 2nd run some of the controls were unresponsive and after my 3rd run I couldn't even get it to turn off. Replacement was easy, bought from Amazon and shipped from J&R music. I did some searching for electronic sealers and came acrosse Rescue 911 clear spray sealant sold here at Amazon, fairly cheep but with shipping was about $25 a can. I sprayed two coats around the middle and towards the ear pieces, careful not to cover the mic hole and controls. I basically taped the last 2in off so I didn't get any spray around controls. After drying for 48hrs, not sure what the best amount of dry time is but I wanted to make sure it was completely dry, I carefully cut around the charger cover so it could be pulled back..I didn't cut it off, just around edge. The Rescue 911 stays flexable so you can still turn on and it's clear so you can still see the LED indications....SO FAR, after 1 month it is still working great and I've logged 22 runs with a lot of sweat.

Hello,Just have this great headphone twice.Avoid any kind of water or humidity, it's gonna break.You won't feel it on your head even after 1 hour.If it is to use in dry places : it is perfect.Summary : It is perfect but not not not waterproof or sweatproofI'm expecting Nokia to launch similar model but waterproof corrected.I just wander if I'm not a victim of fake "made in Chine" devices

I've owned the Motorola S9-HD and S10-HD's for a few years now, the 9, was a solid headset, the 10 was crap. That said, I had low expectations going into this Nokia headset.Let me tell you something. I paired these headphones to my PC, slipped them on and was floored with the quality of sound and the comfort of the headset. They have a very soulful and deep sound and I have a solid range of bass tones, and highs. I barely feel them in my ears too, they are easily the most comfortable Bluetooth headset I have used to date (my S10's hurt after 15 minutes). The only negative I can take away from them is that they use a proprietary plug and not a mini-USB connector to charge them. That's ok though, as long as I get this quality I'm pretty happy.I tested the reach of these babies and got about 25-30 yards away - through a hallway, office walls and 2 doors in my complex before they started to cut out. My Motorola headsets barely make it ~10 yards in the same room before I totally loose them.I have yet to pair it to my iPhone to go running, but I don't foresee any issues there. That's going to be my real test...As of this moment though, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good running/workout/"at my desk" headset.

For all you nerds out there this headset has a very futuristic design aesthetic. Nokia is no stranger to solidly built hardware and this is no exception.Unboxing: My initial impression of the BH-505 was as I said very cool looking, the material feels very nice to the touch. Included are multiple earbud sizes and a charger.Design: Very sturdy yet light. The entire device has an almost velvety feel to it. Material is very flexible and 'springy', returning to its original shape with ease.Controls: Controls are intuitively placed but are very small. Accepting or placing calls requires me to anchor my thumb to the bottom of the earpeice when touching either main button. The fwd and rev as well as volume rocker are facing out but quite small.Sound Quality: Sound quality is very good (assuming you have the correct fit) having good bass response and the sound isolation is good as well. I take a commuter train to work and the loud engine/bell is barely audible even with volume at minimum.Call Quality: I rang my mother after I charged the BH-505 to full capacity and she reported the calls sounding like I was speaking into a hand microphone rather than a headset as well as the Nokia picking up a lot of ambient sound. I was clear to her but I found that I had to talk over her at times so she knew I was speaking.Battery Life: I've had the device on for four days straight and have listened to a few hours of music/talk time and still going strong.Bottom line: There have been poor reviews based around fit. FIT IS VERY IMPORTANT! If you have a 'small' head there may be a comfort/fit issue. I have a medium/large head (men's cap/hat size) and have absolutely no issue with fit. I find them very comfortable. I also wear glasses and they both feel perfectly comfortable on my face.If you want to look unique with a great sounding Bluetooth this is for you. I've jogged on a treadmill with no issue, no sweat disrupted the device. Hope love it as much as I do!

I spent a good bit of time reading reviews on Bluetooth Headphones. What I really wanted was something that fit just like my Vmoda and Skull Candy in Ear Headphones. I'm not an audiophile but I want decent sound. Most importantly they need to be comfortable. A while ago I tried the Motorola S9 headphones and the ear buds were too big and hurt my ears. They didn't fit anything like in ear wired headphones. Recently I tried Altec Lansing / Plantronics Backbeat 903. They didn't hurt my ears but they blocked so little ambient noise I didn't feel like I could hear the music well. I do the majority of my headphone music listening mowing the grass. If it can't shutout the mower it isn't very useful. The Altec Lansings went back. I decided to give the Nokias a try. I got them today so I can't speak to durability and sweat resistance yet. I will say they are very comfortable. They are as close as I have come to fitting like regular in ear headphones. Same ear pieces and even 2 styles of ear pieces. My only very minor downside is the power charger is proprietary. I'm not sure any part of the headphones is big enough for a micro usb connector but it would be so much better if they could be charged from the USB port and used a common type cable.Pros: Good Sound, Great Comfort, Nice LookingCons: Power Charger is proprietary.

Very stylish device.Sound quality is simply amazing and setup is a breeze.Since the rubber tips seal your ears, it is slightly uncomfortable for talking, but not terribly so. I usually find myself removing the tip from one ear during conversation.The package includes a generous assortment of rubber tips for perfect fit - but THE TIPS SNAP OFF THE HEADPHONES WAY TOO EASILY. This should be fixed.

Will not keep a charge! It wiil only work for 1/2 hour at best! Not a good buy! I checked the plug and that was fine! I keep trying it after a charge and still the same 1/2 or less running time!

After evaluating several bluetooth headsets (Motorola S10-HD, Motorola S9-HD, LG Tone HBS-700, Plantronics Backbeat 903+, the Nokia BH-505, GoGroove, and the JayBird) I found the Nokia BH-505 to be the best performing and the best value. It also combines features from the other options. It has the earbud comfort of the LG Tone, the comfort of the Motorola S9-HD, the sleekness of the Motorola units, phenomenal range, and the long battery life from several units. The only feature that I feel needs improvement is the sound quality. It's not very full, but is quite serviceable.

The Nokia BH-505 is the best wrap around Bluetooth I have yet to find. The light-weight is awesome the profile makes it almost invisible, especially with my grey hair. The battery life is the best I have experienced hundreds of hours standby time.Sound is to be compared with any. Mic is a bit boxy at first but the other parties say I sound good on the other end.

The sound and comfort is amazing! They sound almost as good as Beats by Dr. Dre! I use them to run and they have survived so far but I am afraid because I have already killed 2 other bluetooth headsets with my sweat. Everything tells me they should work fine but only time will tell - even so the sound quality is worth the money.

I am not a Nokia fanboy, but these are incredible Bluetooth stereo headsets. I have owned the Motorola S10-HD and the Plantronics Backbeat 903+, both which have glaring, serious problems, but in different areas (The Motoroala have terrible sound and the Plantronics' Bluetooth signal cuts out when outdoors). The Nokias do not have any of these problems. The sound is really good, even when comparing them to wired headphones. They sound waay better than the Motorola (which have terrible sound) and about equal to the Plantronics (which has really good sound also), and waay better than the stock iPhone earbuds. They feel lighter and have a better fit than all of the other competitors combined. The Motorolas have too tight a fit and the Plantronics have too loose a fit (feeling on the verge of falling off). These Nokias are a better fit because they are a sturdy one-piece like the Motorolas, but are not too tight. They are also very thin around the ears so they also accommodate those wearing glasses as well. If everybody had a chance to actually compare all three Blutooth stereo headsets in person (The Nokias, the Motorolas, and the Plantronics), the result will be the same: the Nokias are superior. Really, its that clear cut when comparing the three current "top" Bluetooth stereo headsets out there. Save yourself the trouble and just order these - they are really a knockout pair of wireless headphones. Oh, but they may not be as water proof as the Motoroalas. Keep that in mind. That might be a big deal for the sweaty types at the gym.

I have been using the BH-609 for about a month. Sound quality is very good. Loud and clear thru the headset, but my speech is somewhat muffled when others hear me talking. However, wind noise is well controlled and since I make many calls out of doors, that matters. I use a Nokia N8 and for me, at least, the accessory battery meter came as a pleasant surprise and is very useful. Not that you will need the battery meter much; this thing really goes on and on and does not need much charging. Comfort is terrific, better than most and I have a drawer full of Bluetooth sets that have not been comfortable. Build quality is a little flimsy so the unit seems fragile, but I haven't had any issues as yet. FYI, don't count on the instruction telling you much, they are worthless. I recommend it, but know that others will hear you somewhat muffled.

The voice quality is great. The edge that wraps around your ear can leave a mark after being on for more than an hour. Overall, I'm happy, but I think there is room for improvement. It would be nice if the charger was a micro USB.

Misleading packaging. If you plan to use in anything but the driest of conditions, while you don't sweat., PLEASE DON'T BUY! Received for a Christmas gift and they stopped working, I.e. no controls of any function when the smallest bit of moisture invades the unit. If you do choose to buy, get yourself some isopropyl alcohol to dry out after use AND get yourself some caulk to seal the crevices to prevent any moisture incursion. Let's see how it goes with the addition of caulk.

I picked these bluetooth headphones for the battery, since I was going to be at school all day and needed lengthy battery. Nokia 505? They do last hours, I would say 8-10 hours, They have amazing sound and come with an assortment of earbuds. Honestly, these headphones made me glad I made the transition to bluetooth.

I really dont understand the people on here giving bad reviews for these. I received mine a week ago and I have barely taken them of my head. If you say they are lacking in bass. You are a liar. The sound quality is very good and I'm not some bum that doesn't know what I'm talking about. I worked in VERY high end car and home audio shop for 5 years. I have installed sound systems that cost more than most peoples cars. They feel pretty solid I wear them to the gym 4-5 days a week I do an hour of cardio every time I'm there and they stay on my head without moving around. I never have to mess with them. I cannot hear anything around me with them on. For the first time I own a pair of comfortable headphones that I actually have to turn the volume down. The battery last VERY long. The only con I can see and I'm trying to find them is it took a little bit to find the tips for my ears. They actually kinda hurt until I did because they are tight. If you have a large head it might be worse I have an average head. I only say this because I wear the average hat size. If your nervous your going to waste your money on these like I was after reading the haters reviews.. DON"T BE!! Two of my friends after playing with mine ordered a set. I suspect a few more will soon.

Headphones sound great.. lots of base and great noise cancellation,Only problem hard to tell when there on or off with out taken them off your head or neck.Only down side is the track changing and volume button if you dont have finger nails its impossible to change.

My S9 stopped working after 1 1/2 years and I decided to give the Nokia headset a try because I had not been very happy with the S9. I use the headset on my HTC HD7 phone while cycling and it has been a good improvement over the S9. Battery life is much longer than the S9, and so is the range. Sound quality is good and phone calls are clear on both ends. I don't sweat as much as a jogger so I really don't know how well it will stand up to moisture but it has been out during light rain and so far no issues.

I received my Nokia headset on time from J&R after purchasing them on amazon.com. I thought they looked great and were very lightweight. By the third day of ownership i decided to go for a 3 mile run around my neighborhood with it paired to my Nokia N85, sound was great and they felt comfortable, they didn't bounce off my neck or head as i thought they might. Then as i am approaching my building the sound goes out! i check my phone to see if the connection was lost, or maybe the song was paused, but all is right except the sound. i try to call my wife to come open the door for me (keys are annoying while running) but it stays quiet, i so i try again and i hear her voice say "hello" OK just a glitch, i thought. so now I'm home and try to hold the power key to turn the device off, i get nothing... hold it again for a longer time and nothing still... so i unpair via my phone and the auto shut down turns the device off. puzzled, i put it to charge and take it off when the indicator goes green, and turn it on again. turns on fine and pairs with my phone. OK, so its working fine. NOT! Trying to turn it off again, I have the same issue as before! then my phone rings, the device is still paired so i can only answer the phone through the headset. Guess what, the answer button wont respond, so i answer it with the answer key on the phone. After the call i check it out, and non of the buttons respond no matter how long i hold them!! upsetting!! I tried reseting it two different ways that the instructions say but it wont respond. I call Nokia, and they tell me to return it to the seller if not then i can mail it to them to be inspected and pay for shipping, no thanks "can i take it to the nokia store" "No". J&R is right across the river from me I'll just drive there. I'll let you all know if the second pair are any better...

First the positives. They fit great. I have an average-to-small head size. One would expect the headphones to rest on the back of your neck, they do not. Even so, they are comfortable to work out in. The bass is great, and the sound quality is good. I was able to move around the gym (up to approximately 45 feet) without losing the signal. They paired easily to my iPhone 3GS. The volume and music controls work as expected.Now the negative. After one spin class, they stopped working. I purchased these because they are advertised as being "sweatproof". They are not. After reading many other posts at Nokia's support website, it turns out that I am not alone with them failing during a workout.Bottom line: These are great headphones, they are comfortable, and they work well with an iPhone, but do not expect to use these at the gym if you sweat.

Have had a few months now. Was concerned a little about how it fit when I first got it. Does not fit tight to head like a sunglass's band that it resembles. However, found this to be fine in terms of comfort and great in terms of not having to clean it from sweaty workouts. The in-ear parts don't go too far in for me, which allows me to wear them while laying down with head on pillow. Actually improves the bass a bit more. I've been able to wear for hours without issue.Sound quality is much better than I expected. I use a Nokia XpressMusic 5800 and after adjusting the bass to maximum, it really has pretty good quality for a bluetooth. Plus it's fine for taking calls. But don't expect to hear anything else as the in-ear fit seals off most outside noise. I really don't use for phone calls unless I just happen to get one while wearing. Don't get caught wearing these in a car as most states consider it illegal to wear full head phones that impair hearing, while you drive.Battery time is really great! You can go several days without really having to charge it. Your phone will die much quicker than this headset when playing music. And the AC chargers for Nokia phones works with it. Just can't listen while charging.Thought it might look a little too Star-Wars-ish, but not as bad as it looks.Simple setup (for phone) and buttons are great. Volume and forward/back song selection rocker switches are a nice touch. Hard to accidently change, easy enough when you need to. Do have to press the answer and pause buttons a little hard to click on/off which tends to push the in-ear bud a little deeper that can cause discomfort. Setup for PC not easy and I still don't have the sound quality set right. I really did not get it for the PC, but proper setup is an issue for those who are needing it for such. May take some serious tech skills to get right, and not mess with your other audio settings for other devices as did with mine.Overall am very pleased with product. I had a Jabra with two pieces before to use for both calls and music and this is much, much better.

These work all thru my house! I love them. I use them at work with my Xperia to listen to Audible books, I love this freedom.Well recommended. Great standby time/ usage time. --and they match my phone (not that I'm into matching items...).

I got these last week and I've tried them out on 2 different smartphones and 2 different computers. The sound quality for music is really good and I've been comfortable wearing them for multiple hours. Using them with many devices can be a bit of a pain because Bluetooth does not transition between devices very smoothly (takes a few extra steps - which result in missed calls and other inconveniences).I can walk around most of my small apartment and still hear the music. When I walk behind a wall, it usually gets staticy and cuts out until I am back within sight of the device. It seems unfortunate that I can't use them in the whole house since apartment isn't much more than 900 sq ft.The major reason that I bought these was to do high quality voice calls over Bluetooth. This has been hit-or-miss. Many times (especially when listening to music when the call arrives), the voice quality will be terrible and I will need to call the person back. The quality also suffers a lot when I am sync'ing the phone over Bluetooth and trying to make a voice call at the same time. But even when not syncing and not listening to music, just making a simple call and nothing else, the call quality will be bad (I hear static and the other side hears me "like you are in a tunnel" - reported by 3 different people).It seems like the phones (N75, EVO) may not have proper noise canceling like Skype or other VOIP products. So far I've had fairly good success with these over VOIP. Callers have not complained and I have not heard the static that I get on cell calls.So in the end, I'm happy to keep these and use them for listening to music and VOIP calling on my desktop. But I am unfortunately going to have to find another solution to use with my smartphone :(

Very comfortable, light weight,very good sound, long battery life.... I use it 8-10 hours a day, I love it!!! If I got to buy again I'll buy the same thing!

This Bluetooth headset is really nice! Amazing sound, great quality, and awesome for making phone calls. The range for them is impeccable to its success meaning i walked about 25 feet from my phone before they started to cut out. I bought a Bluetooth adapter for my computer I hope its just as strong. If you get it i hope you like it!!!

I got it yesterday, opened package, charged. They fully charged in about 30 min. and I used them all day yesterday and today. Everything works! All functions, Play/Pause, Forward/Rewind, etc. When you pick your headphones, make sure your phone has same Bluetooth parameters. For example, my HTC Touch Pro2 has Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate and A2DP for wireless stereo headsets. Same is true for these headphones, this is why they work perfectly well. Sound is so great, it feels like a completely different spectrum when you put headphones on. And they have mics on both sides, so when you talk you can be heard well. I even rode my bike today and spoke on the phone (just to try, I won't recommend using headphones neither on a bike nor in the car. Buy a one-ear piece for the car). Another thing - some people complain that these headphones are bulky - this is true. However, I like bulky headphones, but it wouldn't be fair not to warn you. And some complain they do not stay on your head - this is not true. At least for me - I could ride bike, and tried to shake them off - they stayed on! I do not have a big head, normal regular size head. Anyway, for those who don't like behind-the-neck style or those who like small pea-size headphones - there is a wide choice! Also, avoid replicas, buy genuine. I do not regret spending $63 plus shipping plus customs totalling $83 on real product against throwing $30 in the garbage if I would buy a replica.-------update-----When riding on a bike, the mic will produce whistling noise in the person you talking to phone's speaker. Thi mic is very sensitive. Also, the way it is designed - it is positioned forward, right against the airwaves, and especially if the weather is windy - do not even bother to ride bike and talk. You will have to stop and talk, then continue. Otherwise, I am still happy with these headphones.

This Headset is totally kewl. The manual could be much better but the device itself is very intuitive and easy to use. I just wish I could find out how to make it vibrate or if it has vibration when ring.A "Must Buy" for the price. Quick Charge and does not hurt the ears.

This product has typical Nokia build quality,which is great.It can be uncomfortable to wear at first.But after you find the right ear bud tips and figure out that it goes behind your ears it is comfortable to wear.Packaged users instructions could be better.Sound quality is excellent once you find the right ear bud tips and right placement on your head.

This headset looks good, but it is a very painful fit in your ears no matter which ear pads you use. The sound quality is only good if you keep the ear pads depressed in your ears. The back of the headset is a big bother, you cannot lean back on a chair or car seat or in an airplane. The back of the headset projects out and pushes forward when you rest your head. You cannot keep the headset on for more that a few minutes without your ears hurting. Pairing and functionality is excellent, but it has no comfort and mediocre sound quality. Don't waste your time or money on this product.
