Много читал комментариев на этот продукт. Везде пишут по-разному. Но в основном все пишут что звук плохой, басов нет. Кто-то вообще написал, что звук будет только наполовину. Чушь! Решился все-таки купить. Согласен, наушники не очень (как меломан и любитель создавать музыку, скажу- басов нет, окружающий звук не изолируют, работают как обычные затычки), но! Втыкаем свои наушники, (это устройство нам позволяет это сделать), в моем случае- это синхайзеры и вуаля, звук отличный, точно такой же, как и без гарнитуры! Ничем не отличается от обычного "втыка". P.S. Подключаю к nokia c7. Пробовал подключить к ipad, не получается. Ну не получается и ладно. Брал чисто для телефона. На счет "звук наполовину", делаем громкость телефона на максимум и далее регулируем громкость на гарнитуре (у нее своя громкость), и получаем отличную громкость. До мозгов пробьет )) По поводу размера. Гарнитурка маленькая, думал будет больше. Крепеж тугой, можно зацепить за что угодно. Но тут, на мой взгляд, выливается небольшой минус- я боюсь сломать этот крепеж, ведь он тугой )). Колесико громкости. Опять же, все пишут ( практически все), его нужно крутить много, долго, чтобы изменить громкость, смотрите не устаньте =). Нормально оно крутится и прибавляет\убавляет громкость. Пульт управления прорезиненный, приятно тыкать. Отклик тоже хороший, задержек нет. Микрофон работает нормально, без помех. В общем, кто думает купить эту гарнитуру, покупайте и не слушайте никого. Звук хороший (если воткнете свои любимые наушники). Повторюсь, я подключал это устройство к Nokia c7. Думаю кому-нибудь будет полезен этот отзыв =)

Наушники просто супер, хорошая шумоизоляция, удобно крепятся, рекомендую.

I purchased 2 of These headsets - 2 days apart and from separate sellers on Amazon. Both Sellers (J&R music World & CCMaccessories) receive an "A+" rating regarding my transactions with them.This product receives an "F". In fact if I could give it zero stars I would. The idea for a bluetooth headset for active people is a good one. however Nokia failed miserably.Nokia claims in their marketing of this product that it is "Designed for active wearing on the go. Sweat and splash resistant, a perfect companion for sports, skateboarding and other groovy hobbies".This is HOGWASH. I can confirm after using these that they are definitely **NOT** sweat resistant as stated by Nokia.I came across this product after searching Amazon specifically for a bluetooth headset i could use for exercising, and just like I always do, I read the reviews. Great. I thought. (In hindsight, I just wish someone would have given it a truly honest review AFTER putting it through it's paces).So, I bought one of these headsets from J&R and received it the next day. I charged and tested it and found the sound acceptable. I showed it to my wife, she liked it - so I immediately went on Amazon and ordered a second headset - J&R seemed to be out of stock, so I ordered it from CCMaccessories. That second headset also arrived within one day even though shipping was free.My nokia BH-505 headset worked exactly one day without issues. The next day, I finished my exercise then went to turn off the device, but the power button would not work to turn it off. The headset still worked with my phone, all the buttons worked, but I could not turn it off. The next morning, I was finally able to turn the headset off with the power button.I left the headset charging while I went to work. When I got home, my wife said her headset stopped working in the middle of her workout. I suggested that maybe she did not properly charge it. "No, I charged it all night" she said.mmm.. I dismiss it in my mind, after all, I know she can be technologically challenged from time to time. I take her headset, i plug it in to charge and off to the Gym I go. By this time, my Son and Daughter had tried my headset, liked it and asked me to get them each one, "I think I will wait on that",I thought on my drive to the Gym.39 minutes into my 1 hour regimen on the treadmill at the Gym, my headset just goes off and I cannot turn it back on. this of course just ruins my entire workout. (Not to mention what I had to endure later on, when I told my wife the same thing had happened to me)On the way back home, it occurs to me that these headsets must not be "sweat and Splash resistant" as Nokia claims. "but, how could that be" I thought. When I work out, I am a "Sweatter", I know that. But my wife sweats very little during her hourlong workout.Anyway, I got back home. checked my wife's headset and it still does not turn on. Next morning, I check again. Neither headset turns on. So, on a whim, I left both headsets in my greenhouse before going to work. When I got home - I tested both and both turned on.I immediately called up both J&R Music and CCMaccessories who both issued me RMA's to exchange the product (since by now, the garbage had been picked up along with the packaging the headsets came in).CCMaccessories, I later learned was only about 20 minutes from where I worked in the city - I called them and they allowed me to stop in and exchange the product. I watched as the clerk opened a new package, took out the headset and gave it to me. Then he took my defective product and placed it back in the packaging which he kept. I left happy.I charged the headset at work. Then when I got home, my wife and I left for the Gym. She used her original Nokia BH-505 headset (since I had not yet sent it back), and I used the new one I picked up earlier that day.About 25 minutes into her workout, she stops her workout, walks over and interrupts me to say that her headset got hot and then stopped working. I take her headset from her, and sure enough it feels warm and it does not turn on. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do but grudgingly offer her my headset.Like a good wife, she declines and I go back to my workout - annoyed that I have not been able to get a proper workout completed since buying these Crappy headsets. "But at least my replacement headset is working fine" I thought to myself. And I go back to my workout. 15 minutes later, my headset just stops working. I am beyond pissed at this point, and I am sure I cursed out loud, although I could have sworn I only did it in my head. But from the look of the people around me, either it was out loud or they heard what i said in my head.I called Nokia the next day. their solution is either I can ship them to Nokia's repair facility to be repaired or replaced or I can send them back to the sellers since it has been less that a week.I explained to them that I would send it to the reseller, except I no longer had the packages (no ones fault but my own) a

Just got a new iPhone 5 which has bluetooth on it. I keep it on my pocket all day and it never cuts out. I've had no issues with it not preforming because of sweat. I work outside most of the day in Florida and this thing gets wet. No problem.Originally when I bought this it was because of the sweat issue. Earbuds fall out, because in Florida, everything sweats including the insides of your ears. Who knew? I certainly never noticed prior to using earbuds. Cords on headphones/earbuds drive me Crazy. Tucked in the shirt, the rubber cord sticks to your skin once you start sweating and pulls earbuds out of your ears or headphones off your head. Cord on the outside of clothing is a problem in a ton of ways, but with my job, bending, climbing ladders, picking up and carrying stuff, tools, materials and overall body use, tugs on cords and makes me boil. No more problems there.I had quit using it as much for a while because the after market bluetooth accessories suck. One plugs into the charging slot of an iPod nano and uses the battery of the iPod. I would get all of about an hour and a half (at best) and the iPod would be dead. I bought a second bluetooth accessory that uses the headphone jack and it doesn't allow you to use any of the features of the headset (volume, play/pause, forward/backward), then it crapped out after about 3 weeks.EVERYTHING on this headset works great with the new iPhone I bought. The only real "con" is if you look up a lot, the behind the neck part will hit the base of your neck and push them out of your ears. The tension takes a little getting used to, but after a couple of days, you won't notice anymore. The other "con" is just my personal awareness and I forget to realize they are on and will get in the truck and drive to the hardware store, walk in, get my supplies and be in line before I think to pull them away from my head. You could just hit pause and leave them in, but I feel awkward and a little rude doing that. Like I said personal.Enjoy and hope this helped.

This is an update to the review below. My head set cracked at the seem where it meets the band. I called Nokia customer service and they were not helpful at all. The call went to one of those robots that does not understand basic statements and keeps starting over when she doesn't understand what you are saying. After wasting 30 minutes explaining what is wrong with the device she came back and said that this is considered physical abuse and it is not covered under warranty, then recommended that I should bring it back to the store where I bought it with a receipt. They didn't even look at it, and the person I was talking to had no clue what I was saying. How could they determine the true cause of failure. Apparently the device has a flaw if it breaks during normal careful use. For this reason, I am downgrading my review from 4 stars to 1. As I mentioned below in my original review, I did have the Motorola S9 and S10. In fact, I had the S9 in storage in a book bag. Because it was in there so for the past few months it got squished and one of the earpieces got all bent out of shape. I merely repositioned it and it is good as new. The Nokia in a similar situation would be broken because it can't even handle 4 months of gentle daily use. I asked her out of curiosity if this call was going to India? Her reply in typical robot sounding English, "Do you want me to call India?" What an idiot. I'm buying another S10. It's very durable and ear pieces are readily available.I really like the sound of this headset and compared to the Motorola S9 and S10 this has better over all sound and much better sound isolation. I was on a plane and couldn't believe how well they isolated sound,which allowed me to listen to music at a low volume and take a comfortable nap. The only thing some people will like, probably kids, is the exaggerated bass response in the S9. The bass was toned down a bit in the S10. There is plenty of bass in the Nokia, just not that exaggerated bass that the inexperienced listener likes. It's accurate, not thinly and overpowering. As a result you hear nice clean details. This is actually the first Bluetooth headset Ive like more than my high end wired headsets. As a comparison for you, I do use Android with Power Amp app with equalizer settings to really dial it in to my tastes.That being said, do not lose the earpiece which like the Motorola's have a tendency to fall off, but less likely than the Motorola's. But unlike the simplicity of finding replacements for the Motorola the Nokia is impossible to find. I even called Nokia and the over seas crappy robot representative told me to buy another headset. What an a-hole.If you don't think you'll ever lose the earpiece, go for it.If anybody has ever found a quality replacement for the large earpiece that inserts inside the ear, not the big fat one that sits over the ear opening, please let me know.Thanks

I've had this headset for about 9 months now and I am very pleased. I have previously owned two different models of the Motorola "MOTOROKR" (S9 and S10) and neither of them fit or sounded nearly as well as this product. I kept the S9 for 2-3 months until it stopped working due to perspiration seeping into the electronics - I returned the S10 for fit and sound issues. I did run with the S9s, despite the fact that they didn't fit well or provide good sound, and the fact that they lasted for nearly 3 months is a testament to their durability, but in the end they still succumbed to perspiration getting into the electronics.I do a number of things to keep fit and they're all more fun with music - running, cycling and weight training. For cycling and working out at the gym, this headset works flawlessly. The sound is as good as a good set of earbuds. I perspire about as much as any normal, hydrated person, and these activities don't cause the device to stop functioning. Running on hot days or doing cardio workouts at the gym are a completely different matter and I use corded earbuds during those activities. Since the headset's design doesn't fully hug the wearer's head, I wouldn't consider them to be well-suited for wearing while running anyways because they would continually shift or rock in place.No device made of these materials and costing $50-60 will be completely sweat-proof. Only a small part of the headset comes into contact with my head and I occasionally wipe that part down during long exercise sessions and afterwards I clean the entire unit with isopropyl alcohol to keep them clean and reliable. If you take care of this set, it should last - if you abuse them, expect them to be completely sweat-proof or waterproof, you would likely be better off with a good set of corded earbuds, as they will cost you less money and last longer. On two separate occasions, the controls have stopped responding due to high perspiration. Leaving the unit alone overnight allowed proper usage to resume the next day. Again, proper care will lengthen the product's life.I have observed the behavior where the green power light comes on and doesn't turn to blue indicating the successful Bluetooth connection. I fixed this in 30 seconds by restarting my iPhone to reset the Bluetooth stack and it instantly connected. I'm a little dismayed that someone with the time and knowhow to create a video documenting this problem couldn't be bothered to consider that the problem might lie elsewhere. i've had the Nokia BH 505 for about 4 months now, i can say that for the price i paid in Australia, it's better than anything i've ever had previously.i ride motorbikes - and if you flip it and wear it upside-down, it'll actually fit the earbuds inside your helmet with the chunky back part below the bottom of your helmet, and no stupid wires to painfully pull the buds out of your ear if it snags on something.that was the main reason i got these, i broke about 4 apple headphones by getting them snagged on something and wrecking the cable inside so this was a perfect solution.i use these constantly and the quality i get rival my MEE Electronics wired set that i paid $80AUD for.Nokia claims on the box that talk/use time is 12 hours, the battery life lasts me about 10 hours of almost constant use - no breaks, switching from mp3s to phone. still enough to get you the day. i haven't "timed" exactly how long it takes to charge, but after 2 hours - it's good to go again.now that the good stuff is out of the way - now it's time to give it the KICKING IT DESERVES. Nokia claims that it is sweat resistant. that is the biggest load of garbage i have heard for a long time. i train hard, so when i wear these to the gym, if i go running, or do anything cardio - i sweat - and that gets in the controls and shorts it out. i'm lucky that i left it for 2 days and it worked once it had dried out. but this is obviously not good for it and it's happened three times now. the first two i thought might have been from overuse. the third time i cracked it and looked up nokias website to check warranty info, only to see the hundreds of people who have bashed their support page with the same issue as me.as annoying as this is, i still love this product (hence the 4 stars). now that i know the sweat causes a major issue, i just won't use it at the gym or when i'm going for a serious sweat-like workout, i've been on my MTB riding around and it's been perfect.i'll just use this for everyday use and find something else that can cope with lots of sweat.

This is really a good piece of technology, it sounds great, is much better that any other headset I tried, I would say it really sound like it was intended to hear music rather than talking.If there are no walls you can go around 14 meters way, I think is very far and convenient, I can left my phone on the desk and move around, go for coffee and even to the bathroom, I can move freely though the floor on my building.The thing that I like the most is that is very comfortable, I don't tolerate earphones or headsets for too long, but I use the BH-503 all day, I really like music and I have my phone full of hours and hours that now I can enjoy at work. They fit very well on the head and they can support themselves, you can even move them up to your ears if you feel too much weight).They look and feel very resistant, is mostly made of a kind of strong rubber, they are flexible and durable (as it should be considering Nokia's reputation).*If you own a nokia N8 or other nokia phone you may find the following useful:The only bad thing is that when I first received and tested them they sounded great with music but I was not able to talk or make a phone call with them, the phone (Nokia N8) was able to call, but there was no sound and the micro wasn't working either. But all I just needed to do was to update the phone's software to resolve this. At the beginning I was disappointed because both are nokia products and I was trying to avoid compatibility issues buying a headset of the same brand, they should be using same standards.That could be my fault, I could miss a step on the documentation or didn't search well enough, however I can tell you I search on the Nokia knowledge base and there were no results with the keywords "n8" - " bh-503" so I do think this is something Nokia needs to improve.Even when I had this problem, I'm ratting with 5 stars (first 5 stars I give to any product) because it could be just a user problem and the headset has a lot of good futures, great sound, good quality very comfortable and durable.

Nokia BH-505 Bluetooth Stereo HeadsetI was looking around for a Bluetooth Stereo Headset when I noticed my coworker had one. It was a Motorola SD-10 HD, and I asked him if it worked well along with the price. That got me interested in getting my own especially seeing how it was wireless! So, I looked around on Amazon and compared the different models and brands, reading all the reviews and description.So, I came across this headset: Nokia BH-505 Bluetooth Stereo Headset. It instantly attracted my attention because of its simple yet sleek design compared to the Motorola. It didn't seem to bulky and had a better looking fit to it.It arrived very quickly in its original packing complete with the charger, instructions, extra inter changeable ear buds, and the headset itself. It works right away, but it recommends that you charge it first.Pros: It has a very light and sturdy design. It's not bulky and very easy to put on. I recommend using one of the larger ear buds because it has a more natural fit into the groove of the ear compared to the ones that go directly inside your ear. The sound is clear and has good volume as well as while talking on the phone. While talking on the phone, I asked if I can be heard clearly, all the responses were yes as if I were talking directly into the phone. The battery seems to be very good, and will last you about a day with continuous use, but longer assuming you use it on and off. It's lasted me 2 days so far with on off uses.Cons: There is some digital distortion when I'm on the phone. It's not bad, but I know some people might be bothered by it. The ear buds it comes with fits too tight, I recommend changing it to the one you feel most comfortable with. The size can't be adjusted, so make sure you don't have a big head! Haha. You can't really run with these because they wobble a lot and might fall off.Overall, as my first Bluetooth stereo headset, I rate it 4.5/5 stars. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for something nice and not too pricey! But like anything you buy, do your research first! Don't get all butt hurt if you get something you don't like because you didn't put in the time to compare all your options! Haha.

I had to experiment with the included silicone ear pads/cushions before I found the magic combo. The ones attached by default wouldn't stay seated in my ears, which affected the sound quality - once I replaced those with another pair (there are a number of shapes and sizes included in the package) that did fit, it was a completely different story. These were much bigger than the usual silicone earbud fittings, but since the headset sort of squeezes the head, the oversized ends worked well to selectively seal (for better sound), or fit loosely (for better environmental awareness and less mechanical noise) on the ear. Wearing them with sunglasses is a bit of a challenge - sunglasses with thinner temple/arms would work better with this headset The headset audio quality is on par with other good quality stereo bluetooth headsets - the slightly muted high end is the biggest drawback here, but i'd guess it's a function of the protocol more than the device. By comparison, for audio playback, my Jabra bt3030 also has this slight treble roll-off, and since it can be used with most standard 3.5mm jack headphones I've tried a variety, including the overly bright Bose NR headphones (which still exhibit this roll-off with the Jabra), so I didn't have expectations about super crisp sound going in, and I'm quite pleased with the low-end response (when the ear fittings are sealed against the ear). The phone capability is quite decent - having a conversation over the headset with both ears makes it easier to concentrate on the conversation, and if one ear really needs to be free, then simply moving one side off of an ear makes it more like a standard BT headset. The noise reducing microphone is ok. It seems to pick up quite a bit of environment noise. There's quite a bit of full duplex audio when used as a phone headset, a little more than you'd expect from a standard phone headset, but you get an idea of what your remote party is hearing, too. For the downside, the buttons on the device are right over the ear speakers, so there's quite a bit of in-ear mechanical noise when operating them. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it could be annoying with a lot of use. Also, the sliders on the front (as worn) are a little small to operate easily, but manageable. The other drawback for me is the lack of a standard micro-usb charger so I can't use the same charger as my phone. Battery life seems to be pretty good, but I haven't used from fully charged to fully drained, so I don't have a good feel for actual battery performance yet. Overall, pleased with this headset. It's much more convenient than the bt3030 (just because there's no cord or lanyard), and it's way better than those that sit on top of the ears. NFC might be a bonus, but i don't have an NFC device, so I wouldn't know.

I bought a first piece three months ago. When i began to work out using them, they began to stop or the controls didn't respond. So I returned them to the seller thinking the problem maybe was just with this piece. As the seller didn't have more in stock, I recovered my money and I decided to buy another one because I really liked the design and sound quality. Everybody in the gym asks me about the device. But I received the second unit from a different seller and since last week, two months after I received it, the volume control stopped to respond almost all the time. When I tried to lower the volume it went to the bottom volume and blocked every other control. So it blocks completely and I have to finish my training with the volume it was frozen and with no control over the device. Now, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and I have to press many times the on/off button to get it turns on. While I'm training, I can't even turn it off because perspiration is damaging the device. Conclusion, the sound quality is good and it looks very fashionable but I don't recommend it for training in the gym or running. Perspiration will damage your device.

I had ordered this unit along with a couple of others hoping to find one that would be great for my sensitive ears and also great for anyone I might be conversing with, especially my sweetheart who always complained about background noise. I charge the unit as specified in the manual, adjusted the volume for my comfort and tested with a few conversation. I had great clarity and was told by all that they received the same. My sweetheart on the hand stated that at time it sounded 'tinny' and that the background noise was still apparent. Not wanting to annoy my sweetheart I jumped to one of my alternative Bluetooth as a test to as if she could tell the difference over the next few day. I place the Nokia in the off position while I used the other for a few hours. Unfortunately when I went to turn the Nokia back on it would not turn on. I checked the charge, it was fully charge. I let it drain completely out over a few days and recharged it again, still would not turn on. I rebooted the Nokia as specified in the manual and still nothing. I don't know if I got a bad one or what. I have been a Nokia product used for many many years and have never experience anything like this. I sent it back and was promptly refunded my money.

Nokia BH-505 deserves 5 stars, amazing sound, clear and pure. Better response of lows mids and highs will depend on the position of the ear buds. Quite light, modern design and easy settings. BUT..., As my head is bigger than average, I feel a bit uncomfortable after some time of use due of a small pressure on the side of my head caused by the impossibility to stretch it and adjust it to different sizes of the human head. That would be the only thing I could mention against it. Anyway, I'm giving Nokia a chance. As I was told by the seller, frequent use will make it less tight and more comfortable. The excellent construction, great aesthetics and good color combination makes it a real treat to use. The apt positioning of the buttons. The provided extra ear buds. No wobbling when using it while jogging. Sufficiently good battery life. Nokia has created one of their finest Bluetooth Stereo headsets till date. Excellent aesthetics combined with a great color combination gives it a certain elegance. The body feels velvety to touch.No abrasive or sharp edges are present. Very smooth surface and a real smooth finish add to the already excellent construction.The button placements is another plus point. Optimally positioned for easy access. Though the volume knobs on the right and the next - previous knob on the left are a tad small and slightly difficult to use at first, one gets used to it in no time. But, it was to be expected from a construction that has kept its form factor so very less. You have the call answer/end key on the right side and the play pause button on the left. Both are easily accessible.Nokia provides extra in ear 'buds', so one can choose the most apt for them. This is very much appreciated as I found the standard ones not very comfortable and switched to one of the spare ones.Once worn, the headset stays in place and does not wobble at all. As the entire weight is placed at the rear, there is not much of weight being placed on the ear and no discomfort is felt even after prolonged use. This is very much appreciated as sometimes the commute from home to workplace and back might take a while.

I was given a pair of these headphones to test out, I have been using them for about 3 months now. The large controls are nice and easy to find wihtout having to actually look at the headset. The fit is comfortable, and the band is somewhat adjustable. At first it wasn't the best fit for my head, but I was able to slightly bend the band on the sides to better contour to my head. Pairing is simple and it connects to my HTC Rezound easily and every time I want it to. Range is as advertised and very good. Sound quality isn't the best I have heard, but it is decent enough, lacks somewhat in the bass but makes up for it for crisp sound. Battery life is good, but it doesn't warn me when it is about to die, just shuts off. I give the headset a 4 star for not having a universal charging port such as micro or mini USB, rather it is a barrel type connector which for me has been finicky at time, but it does charge and charges quickly. Overall, I would recommend this headset.

I have several bluetooth headsets. I've got an older Jawbone Prime that does phone calls only via a small single-ear headset. I also have a Scosche bluetooth headset that plays music and handles calls and now the Nokia BH-505 that arrived last night.After a 2 hour charge, it signaled that the battery was full. It paired very easily (when you turn it on and it doesn't find a device that was already paired, it automatically goes into pairing mode) with my iphone (just go into the iPhone bluetooth menu and tell it to pair with the headset).The fit is great and I've got a larger size head. It takes a bit of fiddling to learn how to pull the headset on so that it comes over the front of your ears, but after 10+ tries, it's a natural movement. You also have to try several of the ear pieces (soft silicone). If you aren't getting good bass response, try a larger ear piece. If it doesn't seal into or against your ear canal, the sound will sound tinny. As soon as you find the right pieces (the larger of the 6 or so sets that came in the box worked for me) the bass will kick in and they sound great.So far they aren't suffering from the cutting in and out (loss of Bluetooth signal) that my Schsche headphones were dealing with, so I'm loving it.They are all plastic, but it's a high-quality plastic with a soft touch. They are flexible enough that I don't feel like they are going to break after a few months of use.

These are great headphones. They connect very easily with all my bluetooth products that I have. I use it primarily for my Smartphone and my Macbook Pro. The charge lasts a while I have to charge them about once a week and I use them and have them around my neck all the time. They are really comfortable if you like this style of headphones. They put out good sound quality and I am a sound buff and need everything to be good quality. I am happy for the price. The only bad thing I have to say about this product is after an hour and a half or two hours the headphones start to feel really heavy on your ears and you have to give your ears a break from holding them up. Other than that they are fantastic.

You don't get a lot of bass out of these but I found the sound acceptable. This is the first pair of headsets that came with extra ear plugs that fit me perfectly. I wear these while walking and they stay on fine. I don't know if they would if I were running. Call quality is good and once you get the controls memorized the device is easy to use. I got these free when Tmobile was including them with the purchase of one of their prepaid phones so I don't know if $80 is too much to pay but they are working out nicely for me.

My head is above average size, I guess. Often sunglasses are tight on me.This is very tight, I would say uncomfortable after only a few minutes. But I suppose this means it will be very secure. I can shake my head and the unit stays put. UPDATE: The comfort got better as I kept wearing it. Kind of like a new bike seat, it stopped hurting after a few days.There are 6 sets of tips. 3 sizes of the type that enter the ear canal, and 3 that sit outside the ear canal.By the way, the outside packaging says the unit is water resistant, but the instructions say not to get it wet. So I'm not sure how sweat resistant this will be. UPDATE: I sweat a lot. The power button became unresponsive twice during workouts. The unit behaves as if I'm adjusting the volume or pressing RW. It continues to play, but I can't turn it off. The first time, it "dried out" and started working again. Today when I used it, I even wrapped a baby sock around most of it during use, but the same thing happened. Sweat is entering the area close to the ears with the buttons.The sound quality is pretty good with the correct ear tips, but I don't recommend for working out. I may have to send it to Nokia for repair.

I originally purchased this blue tooth headset based on a glowing recommendation from a friend. He could not say enough about how great this headset was; the wonderful sound quality, the cool and easy-to-use features. However, when I got it ... I couldn't fit it on my head! The design is a single plastic frame that is not adjustable. It comes with several different earbuds but no way to adjust the width. None of the ear buds would stay in my ears because the frame was stretching too much around the back of my skull. Now when I see my friend, I look at him and wonder - "is he a pin head or am I a fat head?"The silver-lining to this whole order is the Amazon return process was easy and I was able to return it without any problems. Now I'm more specific in my search criteria: XL size for bloody big heads.

I always have trouble keeping ear pieces in and the wires are always an issue for me. When I first received the headset and tried fitting it on my head, I tried every way but was expected. Just didn't seem like I would like it that way, but guess what? It fits and stays where I put it. Sound is OK, controls easy. I only use it with my i-pod so I can answer for phones, but the blue tooth connection was automatic and quick. No issues at all, haven't gotten it wet or damp yet....so we'll see.

I bought these with the thought of using them at work with my Ipod Nano. If I use the ear piece thats go in far enough make them sound loud enough to cover the machine noise they hurt my ears after a couple hours, and every time I took them off at least 1 of the ear pieces would come off and stay deep inside my ear canal. I'm still debating on keeping them and using them for work outs or bike riding and there is always the cell phone to use them with while I drive.

I don't usually like the fit of a headset - this one is pretty comfortable.The sound quality is MUCH better than many other Bluetooth headset I tried (for example, the Motorola H17, Plantronics M100, etc...)BUT! I usually leave my phone on SILENT, so that a sudden call doesn't wake up my 11 month old son. Bluetooth headset allows me to catch a call, and the phone is not ringing... With THIS Bluetooth headset, the headset would ONLY give you any notification if the profile of the cell is general (or any other that is supposed to have a sound coming out of it).If the profile is SILENT, meaning - there is NO sound, just vibro - the headset as if doesn't exist - NO beep, ringing - NO notification about the incoming phone call whatsoever.VERY disappointed to say the least.That is the purpose of the headset - to catch a call with any profile, right?I am returning it, an getting a replacement, hoping that the headset was defective. If NOT, I would rather stick with Nokia BH-804 Nokia BH-804 Bluetooth Headset for Nokia PhonesI don't like the fit of the latter very much (can only wear it with the ear loop and I hate them, and STILL correct it all the time...) BUT at least I don't have problems receiving a call with it.UPDATE: the new replacement has the same issues with the silent profile of my cell phone (Nokia E6-00), which proves it is the incompatibility of the headset and the cell phone.I am keeping it, because, as I wrote above, it is really comfortable, and the quality of the sound is better than my other bluetooth headsets.I solved the problem by creating a new profile, which has a VERY low sound setting on the phone, but enables sound notifications on the bluetooth headset. Thus, I cannot really use the silent profile anymore, BUT I can use the headset and still keep the sound level of my cell phone low enough not to disturb anyone.By the way, while searching online, I found a blog, with people complaining of the same issue - it looks like, some Nokia bluetooth headsets are NOT compatible enough with some Nokia cell phones (how stupid!), which results in the issue describe by me above.So, I am not the only one.:)

A bit tricky to use at first, but once you understand how it works, it's a very useful and cool gadget. The quality of the materials is excellent as always with Nokia. The battery lasts nearly 30 hrs, so if you forget to charge it overnight it will not let you down. Looks great. I would recommended to friends.

This is my latest headset, replacing my Nokia BH-804 Bluetooth Headset for Nokia Phones and frankly I've only ever owned Nokia headsets as I've generally been really please with the fit, functionality and sound quality of the devices and the BH-609 lives up to my expectations. I would recommend it, especially for the price.PROS:Lightweight/Comfortable fit in the earLong battery lifeGreat sound qualityCONS:Flimsy volume rockerLack of micro usb chargingLike most Nokia products I've used, the industrial design and build quality are superb, especially considering the price of the headset. It's a plastic body which is surprisingly lighter than I anticipated yet doesn't feel terribly cheap. The powerbutton/multifunction key is large and well pronounced. The included ear pieces and hook are varied enough in terms of size that it was easy for me to find a size/configuration that worked, and while it took me a few minutes to figure out how to work the ear stabilizer ear piece in my ear, once it was in, it stayed in and didn't move around. Gave a really secure feeling without hurting my ear. I left it in my ear for two and a half hours continuously and noticed very little fatigue. Two things from a design aspect I'm not a fan of are... 1). The volume rocker is flimsy and unlike the 804 model, doesn't click or give you any real response as to when you've increased or decreased the volume and 2). The charger uses Nokia's 2mm plug and not a micro usb port, which isn't that big of a deal, but just surprised me as i know both the BH-804 and BH-904 models have usb charging.From a functionality standpoint, I got a good 8 hours of talk time on this and the sound quality was excellent. It paired up quickly to my Droid Incredible as well as my Dell Streak and I haven't experienced any issues so far with dropping bluetooth signal, or having range issues as I use it around my apartment, though granted my apartment is fairly small so I didn't have a chance to put the range to a strong test. Overall though I was pleased and feel that for the price this is definitely something worth picking up.

I have never experienced such a great experience. I've had these headphones for at least 2 months now and I have to say that it has been an experience like no other. I have been looking for wireless headphones for a while and I have to say that I didn't think i would get this experience.These headphones are amazing in what they can do. I use this with my phone and occasionally my computer. First of all its insanely easy to connect. It connected the first try with my phone and connected the first time with a third party bluetooth on my computer.Next up is the sound quality. It is not marketed as noise canceling but I can't hear a thing other than music and movies. I got one for my girlfriend and since its wireless her long hair hides the headphones entirely. I will talk to her and there have been so many occasions where she just didn't hear me at all because of the headphones.Comfort wise too a bit of adjusting. I recommend switching the ear buds with ones that are packaged with it. They are much more comfortable than in-ear buds.Controls work amazingly. Once in a while I'll have a problem but reconnection fixes it and its usually because the phone is near dead and won't receive controls for bluetooth.my ONLY problem is that I'm afraid to use them for running. they are marketed as sweat RESISTANT. Not sweat proof. So that means that I don't have full confidence to use them working out. Still everyday use, these headphones are great. I can walk at least 30-40 ft without losing connection as long as there are no walls. It can go through 1 wall and still keep it up after 10 feet. Great headset.

Does not endure sweat, although it says so in the package! After just one training buttons stopped working, lots of people having the same problem![...]

I have owned the Motorola S9 for a year and a half and have been happy with its performance with my iPhone. One of the speakers stopped working and I thought it would be a good excuse to try out some new products. I ordered the new and improved s10 and this Nokia unit. The Motorola s10 has aweful sound quality. Much worse than the s9. returned it. The nokia is slim, lightweight and attractive. the sound quality is amazing. The ear cups need to be fitted tightly into your ear canal to get the best bass response. the controls are easy to use and similar to the s9. My unit unfortunately broke after a few sweaty runs in the South Texas heat. I am waiting on its replacement to give it another chance. If it breaks again I will have to downgrade my review, but as of right now I give it a 4 out of 5.

cool headphones overall , easy set up , it will paired with your ipod in seconds, quality sound is very good , i got the Bose I2 and the solos by dre. and the sound of the Nokia knocks out the bose and is very close to the beats .like i said you can not go wrong with this ones plus they are very light perfect for the gym.

Fairly comfortable, for up to about 3 hours. Bass is a bit artificial, but overall decent for casual music listening. Intelligibility from phone mic is poor, per call recipients. At their price point, they are superior to the new Denon "Exercise Freak," which i also tried. These are not "audiophile," or "critical listening" league, but they are useful. Do not know about moisture resistance, but I have seen several negative reviews about that feature.

Liked this headset although I didn't really get to use it long enough to do a full review. Its a little big - about a 1/2 inch gap between the back of my head and the headset which meant it wiggled a little when running and was in the way for bench press. The overall fit is snug so this isn't a huge problem, if anything its a little too snug and gets uncomfortable after 60 mins. The sound quality is good and the phone feature worked fine - no complaints from callers at the other end of the line.Unfortunately the volume control (only up) stopped working today - I turned the volume down and when I tried to turn it back up, nothing. Played around with it for a while and ended up turning the volume on the headset all the way down so now its bearly audible. Yes, it is the headset volume not the iPhone. Sent in for a replacement - we will see what happens.Update 3/23 - vendor shipped a relacement quickly. After a couple weeks of usage I'm keeping the 2 star rating. The headset works ok but hurts my ears after about 45-60 mins of usage and the sound quality isn't as good as a entry level wired setup. Also got complaints from a couple of callers that it sounded like I was in a cave and there is a slight echo of your own voice when talking on the phone.

I have tried many of these looking for one that sounds good and can make calls while being comfortable. This includes the Backbeat 903's, Motorola sd 10, LG ###, Rocketfish brand. The backbeats almost fit the bill but wouldn't stay in my ear when running. I thought these were not going to work out at first because there was basically no bass when playing music with stock ear buds.But Nokia gives you 6 sets of buds.Here is the key, at least for me; try each set of buds and find the set that sounds good for your ear.When I found the right buds, they sounded great(for wireless). I think some of my issue is that Bluetooth stereo just will never sound as good as a wired set. At least not that I have seen. I mean I have a $10 set of Philips earphones that sound better than any Bluetooth set. But if you want a set that sounds pretty good and works good. Give these a try. They are comfortable, light, long battery life so far, phone calls clear.

Best headphones I've ever had. Great for running, even in the rain. Battery lasts so long I don't even bring the charger on vacation. I'd estimate 9+ hours play time. Comfortable for much longer than other bluetooth headphones. Extremely solid. I've tossed these around for years and they have not degraded in any way.

I have a motorola S9 and decided to try the BH-505. Unfortunately, S9 is superior. It has better sound quality, especially in low notes, better ergonomics, strength and access to control buttons. Summarizing, prefer S9 or S10. They have similar prices.

Light, comfortable, sounds very well, easy to use. But you'll not be able to work with it (due to neck part) and you'll not be able to run or bike with it - it's not sweat resistant. After 30 minutes of workout I wasn't able to turn it off. Hair dryer therapy solved to problem but... it doesn't seem to be good long term solution.Nokia! Maybe some recall or something? I am very sad and disappointed, I bought it 2 days ago.

This headset looks good, feels great when wearing...but that's about as close as it gets to actual use. If it were made to use for exercising, it failed! Any, and I mean any amount of sweat will cause this unit to malfunction. You're better off saving your money or pay a little extra for one that is truly sweat-proof.

I work in a lab and wanted a set of headphones without the cord and that would stay in place, for safety and my comfort - these are perfect for that task. very easy to set up and use - paired easily with my iPhone - had lots of compliments since i got them - very lightweight and comfortable - would highly recommend. Probably wouldn't be good for running though - the wrap around but at the back hangs in place and so would probably bounce around a lot.
