Honestly any fan @900 RPM is gonna be quiet. Too lazy to swap out my old 7V plug but it works!

no bells or whistles, but it excels in what it's for: moving air and being virtually silent. i can hear all of the other fans when cranked all the way up–not this one, unless i'm scant centimeters from the case. when the others need replaced, i'll definitely be grabbing more.

It is not the most powerful fan, but good for a microATX or miniITX build. I use it as an exhaust fan and can feel it pulling hot air out of the case.

Installed 3 on the roof vent above my camper fridge. (Fridge wouldn't get cold in 110+*). I installed a switch so I could turn them off when I don't need them. Works Great!! Very quiet!!

I had an old 4" fan and the bearing was going bad and being really noisy. I replaced it with this fan and it's a million times better - keeping the gear cool and silent.

Noctua have a somewhat crazed army of, uh, fans, but they do make very high quality products. This one is thankfully absent their usual beige and brown colour scheme, instead going for greys. Very nice. It's also really quiet. Compared to a cheap fan, the difference is night and day, especially after years of use when cheaper fans can develop issues
What it doesn't do though is blow much air, especially through a thick radiator or restrictive grille. If that's your objective, you're better off looking for something else because these things will need running quite hard (and audibly) to do that, but if you just want something to waft a more moderate amount of air around in near silence and absolute reliability, this is your fan!

Great input fan! Brings in a great amount of air into my small form factor PC and keeps it nice and cool all without any noise! So happy with how efficient and effective this fan is!

I've had one of these fans for months now and it's my first fan from Noctua - whilst silent for the most part, quite often it will start making a periodic 'whirring' sound which I don't think should be the case. It's annoying as it's definitely louder than the fan itself. If it were possible to be sent a replacement that would be nice.
