I wanted this for christmas and everywhere else had this product for 199.99 and I was like that's too much money and then when I came on amazon.com it was like 30 dollars less. When I ordered it and I got it and I first used it I was amazed it was so cool! I recommend this to everyone.

Seller claimed item was new in box. Item was NOT new in box. Item was old, had greasy fingerprints and lots of scratches. Stay away from this seller.

I'm not a gamer, I bought this to use with Fit+. I thouroughly enjoy the workout I get every day, the wii seems to motivate me to do exercises.

This is the most revolutionary and influential video game console since the Nintendo Entertainment System. It will change the way you think about gaming, and open up entirely new experiences.
The controllers are extremely well-designed, and are modular to allow different attachments and expansions. The motion controls allow for games to be controlled more precisely and more immersively than ever before
There are some true masterpieces on this system, but watch out for cheap imitations and low-budget titles. "Rapidly shake the Wii Remote" has become the new "rapidly press the A button," and cheap titles will tell you about their motion controls when really they have little or no purpose. Read up on games before you buy them, and make sure the developers have taken the time to truly take advantage of this amazing controller's capabilities.
If you want to see what this system does best get Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Mario Galaxy, and Battalion Wars II. For some expanded hardware and new experiences, get Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort. Some other excellent games are Super Smash Bros. Brawl and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (although they don't use motion as much).
Some people criticize the Wii for being less powerful. It has less graphical power than its competitors and doesn't support HD (although it does have widescreen and progressive scan). But the gameplay is what really matters, and the Wii delivers an experience unlike any other.

The only problem with these sports games is remembering to stop before you wind up hurting yourself. Three of us all overdid tennis and boxing and had to back off for a while. Great graphics, fun Mii's and for all ages you would allow on a game system.

Unfortunately, I thought this was a nintendo nunchuk, my mistake.However, it did work for the first few times the kids used it, then it broke.The connection isn't right or something. I'm going to try to return it. If not, I willstick to Nintendo accessories in the future.

This was a gift for our grandchildren and they love it!(We also have a Wii and do enjoy using it....whenever my husband isn't watching some kind of sports!)

Just wanted to say "wow". So much fun. We are not gamers, and have not owned a game system for years. This is a perfect excuse to get up off the couch when it is cold, rainy or dark. We bought extra controllers, so it has been a blast when company comes over. The included games were easy to learn, so we could play faster. Plus all the features have something for everyone and all age groups. A+++

When we got our Wii in early summer 2010, we joined GameFly so we could try out games before we bought them.Mario Kart was one of the first we tried.We kept it for several weeks, so we decided that it had to come to our house permanently for Christmas.It is an absolute blast.I couldn't recommend any game more.

I start of by saying this is a review for the console not prices and combination packages. Console - This is a great console it's lots of fun, especally in groups but also good by yourself. The graphics are not as good as a PS3 for example but they not ment be. To really enjoy this you got to get the right games like Mario Kart, Wii Sports Island, the Olympic games, any tennis game and Wii fit. If you want something for a great shoot 'um up get something else. This is great and is lots of fun for adults and children a like.
Wii Sports - It's a great game in it's self Tennis and bowling is brilliant. Boxing, golf and baseball are also fun but (sometimes)can take a while to get into them. With it's scoring system you only play computer players of your standard and and that scoring systems gives something aim for.

This is one of the best purchases we could have made.It arrived extremely timely. With the two bonus games my family has enjoyed using it tremendously. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this console at Best Buy. The Wii is very fun. Although there are some bad games out there, most of them are good, like Wii party. The Wii gets everyone up and healthy. Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort were very good starter games and my first impressions on the Wii were great. A friend had the Wii before me. I went over to his place and it was fun. The Wii has an intuitive design. The graphics aren't that bad, but the games are fun. I would give this console a 9/10.

WE LOVE IT!!!! I was wanting to get my husband the Black Wii for christmas this year and found this great deal on Amazon that i couldn't pass up!! Its awesome and we have had our friends over to play it with us, and the black wii looks so much better then the white one!

This Wii package is fantastic! My kids love Wii Sports and Wii Resort sports, so I'm thrilled we got both! Easy to use, fun to play and great graphics! Perfect for my 5 and 6 year old!

We just had to purchase our 2nd Wii. the first one stopped working after thousands of hours worth of use. They would have fixed it for only 75$, but we opted to buy a new one, at Amazons great price with 2 games, and keep the broken one hooked up to another TV so we can use it to upload Netflix on another TV. :-)

I'm over 50 and my daughters told me the Wii would be good exercise, and I was skeptical. However, after having it for a month. They are exactly right. Guitar hero has helped my left wrist and elbow. I used to suffer from infrequent elbow pain, but it helped rehab my elbow and it feels strong now. The Wii sports resort give you bowling, basketball, and archery. Basketball in particular is a decent workout for someone my age and the bowling and archery are some exercise. I am happy with my Wii and my daughter just ordered the Wii fit plus which gives even more opportunity for exercise in my living room. I highly recommend the Wii for any age!!

The Wii is currently the best selling console of this generation, easily besting the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 by at least 20 million units in sales. Now, aren't the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 much more powerful systems? Yes, Microsoft and Sony's console offerings are about four to five times more powerful than the Wii. The main reason behind the Wii is that it is targeted towards a much broader audience. Honestly, no matter who you are, there is at least ONE game you will enjoy on this system. Now, if spending the now $200 is worth just playing ONE game, that is entirely your choice. Of course, you never know, that ONE game may turn into MANY games in the near future.
I am a hardcore gamer who loved the Gamecube and hated the Wii. The key term here is hated, past tense. Not until I began to find some games that actually appealed to me did I begin to enjoy the system. Currently, my favorite game on the system is MadWorld, and believe me, there is no other game out there like it, which becomes one incentive to buy the system, for me at least. Now, by the time this game came out I had already owned the system for nearly two years and rarely ever played it. My suggestion to all potential buyers is this, unless you hope to stimulate the economy by purchasing a Wii, do some research first. Check out some of the games on the system and see if they appeal to your tastes. If you can find around three-five games that look great, buy the system and you will have a blast. If you can find only ONE, maybe hold off until another one comes out.
In closing, the Wii has at least ONE game for everybody, no matter who you are. Games make or break a system, so if the games available or to be released soon make it a good purchase for you, go right on ahead. If you can't find enough value in the system, there is always Microsoft and Sony that could use some of your lovin'.

I brought the extra controll to with the wii remote with built in motion plus, works perfect, no problems at all. Great shipping time and packaging
