This game is enjoyed by my whole family. You really feel the work out the next day. You sure work out with out really knowing it. This is game is one of my favorites and would recommend this game to anyone. Well worth the money.

The console works perfectly and the game is very good. Mario Bros games are excellent because they aren't frustrating, and this is ok for very young children, adults and even elderly people. Mario Kart, like every game of this kind, makes you ride a kart or motorbike once and once again and after 20 minutes an adult can be tired (... not a kid). Anyway, It is a very nice game: It offers other play options (battle and coin-colecting) which are fun, and the best is the multiplayer mode. Great game.

My 5 year old nephew loves playing this just as much as my 30 year old brother does. Its a great game to play as a family and just have fun. Makes it more lifelike on the wii by actually having to steer the controller. :)

I am having a great time with my Wii. I also ordered Wii Sports with this shipment. Wii Sports is more to my liking because of the tennis and golf. My brand new Wii arrived on time and had all the components in tact. Thanks Amazon!

It's a Wii product not a knoc off. Seems to be working as should be. Somes in a Wii package and has the rubber grip. Fast shipping from Amazon and they stand behind what they sell. Get one ya gotta get the other. Bought the Remote as well.

The Wii is a console of perplexing decisions. Revolutionary control scheme? It has that, but the hardware in the wiimote lacks accuracy for finer movements, leaving most games to rely on broad, simple strokes and the pointer features.
How about the built in wi-fi? This is a fantastic feature, and it's great to see it on such a low priced unit. But it lacks a built in network jack, instead requiring the user to buy a Nintendo USB dongle to connect the thing to your network "the old fashion way".
Nintendo also released a while back it's Wii ware channel. This is sort of Nintendo's response to Xbox Live arcade or Xbox live community games. It's a great feature that lets smaller developers get there games out to a much larger audience. The problem is that the Wii only has 256 megs of built in memory to store those games on, and no hard drive support is promised. Things get tight quickly.
On the audio visual side this console is a joke. For a full 50 bucks less you can buy a machine that does HD graphics and supports proper surround sound. Dolby Digital 5.1 has been around for a long, long time now, and to not even include an optical port on the Nintendo wii is vexing to say the least. If you care at all about how your games look or sound, avoid this platform. The graphics hardware it's self is essentially a game cube repackaged. If you get a chance, run the original Halo that came out as a launch game for the Xbox against any Wii game. Halo typically looks better, and it came out 6 years ago.
Next there is the online experience. As mentioned before, Nintendo was kind enough to provide wifi support on the console and with that connection they give you access to free online gaming. But rather than having a unified friends list like Xbox live or PSN, your required to trade 16-digit friend codes in order to friend someone, and those friends don't necessarily persist from game to game. This means swapping friend codes for every single game you play on the wii. Not my idea of fun. In addition to the online gaming, Nintendo also offers a news reader, weather channel, web surfing and some other fun extras. These features ultimately are fairly useless as most people who have a Wii connected via wifi also have a PC connected that can run it's screen at a higher resolution and thus make for a much more pleasant web surfing experience.
So what is good about this thing? Where the Wii proves to be at it's best is in exactly the same spots where Nintendo consoles have always been at there best - local multilayer gaming. 4-player split screen Mario kart will always be fun, and Wii sports shows that introducing motion controls allows simple sports movements to be replicated in a party atmosphere with some degree of accuracy (although, admittedly, not all that much accuracy either). If your the type of person who wants to have 4 people in front of the TV to game, then this console is a good buy. Just remember: 3 extra wii motes and nunchucks will run you approximately an extra 180 dollars (although you can save a bit buy buying online). At that price, you could have a blu-ray playing PS3.
Lastly, there is the software. This console has shown it's self to be just like every other Nintendo console ever made - First party Nintendo games sell great but everyone else not so much. The result has been smaller, lower funded development teams developing piles of shovel ware for the system. This console lacks any major AAA 3erd party games. Generally the only AAA games on this platform are Nintendo made, and even those are generally retreads of older Nintendo game such as Smash Bros and Mario Kart. We've played these games before, and they want us to spend 60 bucks to play them again.
To any a/v nut or anyone who loves AAA games out there, this console is an utter waste of your time and money. I couldn't recommend it less. But to anyone who just wants a simple, go have fun with your friends on the couch experience, it would be hard for me to recommend a better platform. It will be a smash hit at thanksgiving and Christmas get together, but when your board on a Wednesday night and alone, this consoles poor online and lack of AAA games will leave you board.

I bought this item from a used seller and the only thing I really have to complain about was the power chord was defective when I received it, which is a inexpensive part to buy so I really will not complain too much. Was shipped in a quick timely matter!

It's not easy to buy something for a child now a days. Everything is so expensive. My daughter has been wanting "something" for a long time now. So I bought her a wii. I figured with all the good reviews on it why not try it. As a kid I grew up on Nintendo and loved their systems back then. My daughter was so happy. It was so much fun making our own Mii characters. The game selection in a lot of stores is great! Plus the price on this system was a score. We played wii sports for hours trying to beat each other. It was really fun. I can't wait to buy some of the family friendly games.

Pretty excited to get the system today. Amazon's shipping was super quick. This is my first new gaming system in quite some time. I was sold on a couple of factors and finally bought it, but I'll get to that later. There was a time when I was always the first few to pick up a newly released system. I got the Sega Genesis during October of 1989 when it first came out. I was one of the first to get the original Playstation when it was released during Sept of 1995. And I was also there when the Dreamcast came out on 9/9/99.Since the Dreamcast though, I had a steady decline in interest and only played video games intermittently. I still enjoyed playing, just not as consistently. I didn't pick up a PS2 until late 2006 when the price was under a hundred and there was enough of a catalogue to interest me. I played the PS2 only periodically but had a good time when I did. Now finally, I am at the same crossroads with the Wii. I discovered recently that the Wii had a decent selection of games that actually interested an old-timer like me. Along with nice a discounted price Amazon was offering for the Black Wii, I finally decided to 1-Click the purchase.The system is small and sleek. Unlike any other gaming system I've owned, the controls are unusual but I've adapted to it quickly. The sports/recreation games are a hoot to play. My girlfriend enjoys trying to hit those home-runs. I also look forward to getting some of those workout games that are available for the Wii, should be fun. I am also going to buy a PS2 to Wii control pad adaptor. Better to play games such as the Data East Collection with the PS2 control pad. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and will be enjoying the Wii for several years to come.

I bought this a while ago and used it a handful of times... maybe about 5 times. Today, this nunchuk become completely unresponsive or would do the opposite of the command. A waste of money. It did not arrive in a box as pictured. It arrived in a plastic bag and had a yellowish tint to it in comparison with the other one that we had that came with the wii system. I wouldn't recommend it, mine worked only for a few weeks of rare usage.Update: I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one. This might break as well but we'll see if I have better luck this time around. At least the seller tried to help having in mind my purchase is more than a month old.

Mi esposo compro la consola y el wii play motion, pero mi hija de 10 a?os le gusto mas el wii sport resort, es divertido y tiene mas actividades que jugar, increible que la nueva version no lleno la espectativa de superar el sport resort, me parece que tendran mas imaginacion para superar al wii sport resort, es un juego muy sano en sus actividades, sin violencia grafica que lamentablemente se esta dando en moda en los ultimos juegos, los creadores de estos juegos deben tener en cuenta, que son juegos dise?ados mas que todo para ni?os y jovenes que toman muy en serio estos mensajes que indirectamente los juegos inculcan en las mentes de los chicos, asi que le doy 10 al sport resort, lastima que se esta sacando del mercado.

Now that Mario Galaxies 1 and 2 are out, along with 2 Zelda games and a host of games worth at least renting for a bit, I finally caved and bought this Wii. The color is GORGEOUS, and the negative reviews are hilarious. If you're such a Nintendo fan, why do you not already own a Gamecube? Mine still functions perfectly, so I'd rather have a collector's edition Wii than one with compatibility functions that I have no need for. I can't wait to start gaming!

The kids flat love this game. Son's fav game is tanks. Daughters fav game is tennis. We easily spend 2 hrs playing this it is so fun. Would recommend to anyone.

I dreaded setting this up because I pictured a long complicated process of things going wrong and a frustrating afternoon of trying to get it to work. I'm happy to say, it was actually quite easy to setup (only took about 20 minutes) and even easier to figure out how to use it. It's a lot of fun and there's actually a bunch of cool features I didn't even realize it had!

I recived the nunchuck in a envelope without original covering. Afterwards testing the control playing an active game after an hour it stop working.I took the nunchuck to repair center on my city and there they told me that the nunchuck is not original and cant be fixed because it has only one life of use.I have contacted to seller and they told me that the nunchuck is original and they will return to me money and send me a new device but after that i don't recive any answer or recompensation.

This is a great game well worth the money. My Wii experience just gets better and better thanks to games like this one. First of all this game was designed to get you used to the Wii controlls,but fun enough to stand alone. Great set of mini games that includs your Mii characters in some of the games.The tank game is the bomb!!!

Standard Wii Nunchuk used in excellent shape and at a good price. No complaints! My boys love having it. It was well packaged and functions as it should. My children and I use it to play Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Wii Sport Resort, etc. Quality Nintendo product.

This a great system. I had my 22 year old nephew help me set it up which was a big help, but now I am off and running, or should I say, flying, pedaling, bowling, pitching, and all the other fun games that came with the Resort and Sports. I even have my 80 year old mother playing with me. She loves it. This is a real game that anyone can play and feel good about them selves. My mother and I spent some time trying the frizbee which was pretty difficult but we laughed the entire time, so who cares if we actually got the hang of it the first time, it was still a good time.The mechanics of this game are easy. It teaches you how to play before you play so it makes it easy to do well right from the start. This is a wonderful feature.Love this and would recommend it to anyone. I bought a refurbished model, as I have done for most of my electronics from Amazon and it was perfect.
