spedizione velocissima con prime. Ho acquistato questo prodotto per sostituire un Fzbox abbiandnolo a un Access Point POE grazie alla porta POE di questo prodotto, le prestazoni sono ottime per un uso casalingo e small business, sicuramente non ha l'interfaccia utente facile dei prodotti consumer, ma è un router vero e proprio con quasi tutti gli strumenti del sistema operativo di mikrotik, lo consiglio a utenti esperti o a chi voglia diventarlo

Prodotto fantastico, utilizzato al posto del modem ftth fornito dall’operatore. Una volta configurato (monta RouterOS, sistema operativo di tutta la gamma di prodotti MikroTik) risulta molto stabile, finora non ho avuto alcun problema. Consigliato.

Ottimo rapporto prezzo/prestazioni. Non per dilettanti.
Il punto di forza è la versatilità e la quantità di funzioni unita all'ottimo prezzo. Per un uso domestico avanzato o per una piccola rete professionale è ottimo. È assolutamente controindicato ad utenti che non siano esperti di networking.

This router is excellent both for those who are new(ish) to networks and those who are experienced. Using the setup wizard, you can set up a basic, secure, network with little to no networking knowledge. But for those who have more advanced requirements, this is probably the single most configurable router you will be able to find at this price point.
After trying out an EdgeRouter X and not getting the sort of throughput I was expecting, I gave this a try. With very little configuration, I was getting my full 500 Mbps+ Internet speed with no slowdowns. PoE was also a breeze to set up - just plug in the power brick, connect my wifi AP to port 5 and it worked straight away. I was then able to fairly easily configure the router to work with my existing IoT vlan. I've also tried out some of the graphing and traffic monitoring features and not noticed any slowdown.
So in summary, if you're running less than 1 Gbps down stop thinking about it and just buy this router, you won't be let down. It's an absolute steal for the price.

There's virtually nothing that this device can't do in terms of networking. However, the bridging/switching/routing architecture takes some getting used to, and since the configuration is very much tied to the architecture, if you're new to RouterOS it can be a long process (days or weeks) from when it arrives to having it doing it what you want in your network. Having said that, it's well worth the effort. One of these and two or three managed switches (like the Netgear GS108PE) and the options are limitless. I have a couple of Ubiquiti Wireless APs, and so have 5 SSIDs and 6 VLANs at home, some IPv4 only, some dual-stack, one IPv6 only and one isolated IPv4 VLAN for the CCTV cams. It's a whole lot of fun for the money.

I've never used one of these and was initially put off by how cheap these are. However decided to take the plunge and happy I did. The initial setup is easy for typical Pppoe Internet connection, but beyond that you'll need some knowledge of the concepts to configure beyond that. It has literally every feature you can think of.

Vorweg: Ich benutze seit vielen Jahren privat diverse MikroTik-Produkte. Darunter diverse RouterBoards und Produkte aus der CSR-Reihe. Daher bin ich vielleicht ein wenig verwöhnt, was der Umfang der Funktionen angeht, allerdings setzen auch diese auf RouterOS und sind damit funktional ansich identisch.
Den hEX S setze ich (das mag etwas ungewöhnlich sein, ist aber bei anderen MikroTik-Produkten durchaus ein valider Anwendungsfall) als Switch in einem Netzwerk mit diversen VLANs.
Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Produkten unterstützt der im hEX S verbaute Switch (MT7621) keine VLAN-Table. Damit müssen alle Pakete die CPU es Switches passieren, was die Leistungsfähigkeit der Hardware deutlich beschränkt. Aktiviert man das VLAN-Tagging, so sinkt der Gesamtdurchsatz des Switches auf durchschnittlich 850 MBit.
Da auch das Switching zum SFP durch die CPU erfolgen muss, gehe ich davon aus, dass auch der Durchsatz Richtung SFP-Modul die 850 MBit nicht überschreiten wird, was die Frage aufwirft, warum dieses Gerät überhaupt für diesen Einsatz konzipiert wurde.
Das nächste Problem ist der USB-Port. Dieser scheint so störanfällig zu sein, dass der MikroTik-eigene WoobmUSB nicht zuverlässig funktioniert. Durch hinzunahme eines USB-Hubs konnte ich den Stick letztendlich verwenden.
Da ich nicht unbedingt auf großen Datendurchsatz angewiesen bin und für die angeschlossenen Geräte auch 100 MBit aussreichend sind, werde ich den Switch dennoch behalten. Allgemein ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis noch recht OK und durch das RouterOS handelt es sich um eine gute Hardware.
Ursprünglich hatte ich geplant den PoE-Port für den Betrieb eines Access-Points zu verwenden. Davon werde ich aufgrund des beschränkten Datendurchsatzes allerdings absehen.

Vorab: Mikrotik ist nichts für den klassischen Heimanwender der nur Internet machen will. Die Geräte sind für den Prosumer, der etwas mehr basteln will, dafür aber unschlagbar in Preis und Funktionsumfang.
Abgegrenztes Gastnetz mit Vorschaltseite und frei definierbaren Profilen für Gäste (Bandbreite, Nutzungsdauer, Datenvolumen...), VLAN, Firewall, IPSec VPN, Unterstützung für selbstgeschriebene Skripte, umfangreicher DHCP und DNS Server sind nur einige wenige Dinge, die der Mikrotik bzw. RouterOS kann.
Wer Sorge haben sollte, dass die Routing Kapazität begrenzt ist, dem kann ich nur sagen, dass ich 1GBit ohne Probleme zwischen meinen Netzen hin und her geroutet bekomme.
Wer etwas gedult hat und sich im Mikrotik Wiki ein wenig einliest, kann mit dem HeX S wirklich viel Quatsch machen.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar, denn der Hex S Router bietet nahezu alles was das Netzwerker-Herz begehrt. Wichtig dabei ist zu wissen, dass die Konfiguration nicht wirklich selbsterklärend ist, jedoch gibt es sehr viele Hilfen im Internet. Wer aber bereit ist, sich mit der Netzwerkwelt auseinanderzusetzen wird wie ich begeistert sein.

J'avais posté une question concernant le bloc secteur Français (car l'image ici montre quelque chose d'anglais) et effectivement j'ai reçus un bloc français ! Super. Maintenant partons à la découverte de cette bête de course plus petit que mon Ubiquiti et qui fait un milliard de choses en plus. Je vois que la monté en compétence de RouteurOS va être difficile. Mais ça sent vraiment la qualité.

Router de gran calidad, muy configurable. Gracias a Winbox la configuración se hace muy sencilla. Lo tengo para interconectar 2 LAN y dar salida mediante WAN. Permite configuración de colas y QoS. Muy recomendable para hogares y oficinas.

Gerade mal 8 Wochen hat das Teil getan was es sollte und das zugegebenermaßen klag- und problemlos. 3 Wochen nach Ablauf der Rückgabefrist ist das Teil im Fehlerhimmel verschwunden, stellt keine Internetverbindung mehr her, managt das Netzwerk mangelhaft und ist nur ungern per webOS erreichbar. Auch ein kompletter Reset brachte keine Besserung!
Alles in Allem ein teurer Fehlkauf!!!! Rausgeschmissenes Geld! Schade!

Zocht een firewall met 1gigabit eigenschappen. Leuk project wel steile leerkurve echter weer jammer als het werkt.
Nogmaals enige kennis is wel handig en verder Mikrotik heeft een goed forum!

Let me start off by saying that I've also deployed one of mikrotik's cloud core routers at work. I'd expected this small home version to be less customizable, but that was not the case.
RouterOS and winbox are extremely powerful tools which offer the same (if not more) network customization options and raw throughput as Cisco devices that are 2-4 times the price.
This little home network router has pretty much the same features as a $1200 Cisco router, but obviously with less packet processing power.
Now this thing isn't just plug and go in case you're looking for a simple home router, but I think if you can use a computer without having to call your nephew for help every week you'll be fine. There's a quick automatic config option for beginners. 10 minutes on YouTube and you'll have a gaming router for half the price.
I was tired of using comcast's weak modem/router. The webui was buggy and slow. I've now got load balancing, QoS that can be customized by client, connection, traffic type, and even level 7 application protocol.
If you want to set up a mesh wifi, hot spots, or controlled access points you can (with added hardware of course).
If you want to set up VPNs, generate certs, maintain blacklists and whitelists, prevent port scans flood and brute force attacks, and use syn cookies, you can. If you want to monitor network traffic, set up vlans, maintain multiple local networks, and block specific applications, you can! In a $60 router! And that's maybe 20% of what you can do.
Did you break the config? Cool just reset it and load a backup.
Hardware died? Cool just load your backup onto a new mikrotik router. Most settings are compatible even between different models. I loaded the config from the cloudcore router at work to this hexs and had it working on 15 minutes.
I'm sorry if this is kind of long winded but I love these routers!

I purchased this after upgrading my 75Mbps Comcast service to 1Gbps. My Sonicwall NSA220 could not handle the 1Gbps throughput. Was getting around 250Mbps max with the Sonicwall. So I went on a venture to find a cheap solution. The Comcast cable modem rental box that was given, was very basic. I could not change DNS, etc. So I returned the Comcast monthly rental. Purchased my own Arris SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem, and this Mircotik Gigabit router. Worked like a charm! I now have gigabit speeds, and no longer paying Comcast monthly rental fees to service my Comcast modem. I suspect I will recoup all my cost in 1.5 years.

- Cheaper then a Sonicwall TZ500 (MSRP $1,200)
- Did I mention how inexpensive! LOL
- Getting Gigabit speeds with basic setup, a few NATs and DDNS setup!
- Small footprint size.
- Fast boot times.
- Has a quick setup for very basic setup, for non IT people.
- Built in DDNS like service, for dynamic public IPs, that have a need to check security cameras, NAS boxes, servers, VPN, etc. Eliminating the need for dyndns.org, no-ip.org etc.. Reminds me of Synology quickid service, etc.
- 5 port gigabit switch. I used port 1 as Comcast WAN Input, and the remaining 4 as LAN.
- I did all my config and management via web browser at 192.168.88.1. i.e. I did not download and use the winbox config software.

- Interface OS is not as polished as Sonic OS, but works. But I am biased.
- Not as many interfaces as a Sonicwall TZ500.
- Interface / OS requires IT knowledge. Basic End user, like my mom, wife, kids, grandparents, etc.. would NEVER be able to figure it out.
- I, as an enterprise certified Sonicwall Systems Engineer, had to watch youtube videos on how to create hairpin destination NATs, etc. Its just not as obvious. Or you have to get to know where to find things, and how their OS works, but its manageable, once you get to know their layout and methods.
- The power adapter is a basic barrel plug into the Microtik Router. Power cable has fallen out a few times, while moving the router around. It is fine if left untouched. Just wish they would have added some type of quick release power connection, as the majority of these devices do.

EASY STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE TO TURN OFF XFINITY COMCAST WI-FI
I wanted to turn off Xfinity/Comcast cable modem Wi-Fi for health reasons. Currently, renting the usual cable modem + Wi-Fi hotspot + Ethernet router. Some MORON software engineer (well, more likely his management or sales/marketing department) REQUIRES that disabling Wi-Fi on these units also kills internal Ethernet router functionality (what the frack?). Not trusting a third-party modem+router combo, I am buying the router first separately, followed by a modem later.
1. Buy this MikroTik hEX S Gigabit Ethernet Router (RB760iGS), I do recommend it from a technical capabilities and richness of configuration standpoint, but I am NOT much happy from documentation, ease of use, or newbie friendliness.
2. Log in to Xfinity customer website, and turn OFF your public Wi-Fi hotspot (the feature that allows other Comcast customers to use your modem as their access point). This has to be done from the website, I don't think it can be done from the modem itself.
3. Unplug any Ethernet cables inserted into modem's ports numbered above 1. ONLY port #1 will be active from now on. Ports 2-4 will be dead.
4. Log in to your modem, by using Ethernet 1 port, and by logging in to 10.0.0.1
5. Place your modem into Bridge mode. Bridge = ON. You will get a warning. After application, screen will ask you to wait for 1 minute.
At this point I already had the router plugged in, but I was having the following symptoms:
No Internet access from the computer(s)
Router was not able to detect upgraded firmware online
I started outputting bricks at this point because I could not get Internet working, but it turns out that the modem has to be RESTARTED (power cycled) before it will start providing the router with DHCP packets.
6. Unplug your cable modem for at least 30 seconds.
7. Plug it back in. Modem will take 1-2 minute to initialize, wait until lights on front panel are steady (Wi-Fi lights may be blinking from now on, however).
8. Connect Port 1 from Xfinity modem via a CAT6 Ethernet cable (minimum), into Port 1 of router.
9. Power up the MikroTik router.
10. Wait for the router to initialize. It will make a few beeps.
11. Navigate to 192.168.88.1
12. Default settings SHOULD get you on the internet with BASIC router functionality.
IF you do not get internet access within 5-10 minutes of power-up of both devices, you may need to change your tactic slightly to force one to see the other. Try this:
13. Power-cycle the Xfinity modem, first making sure that NETHER your MikroTik hEX router OR PC are attached to it.
14. Power down the hEX S router.
15. After the modem's reset has completed, NOW connect the hEX S Port 1 to modem's Ethernet Port 1 and power ON the hEX S.
16. Now connect your PC or other devices to the hEX S router using Ports 2-5 and you should have access to the Internet
If you STILL have no internet after trying it both ways and waiting up to 15 minutes, you may need to check if your ISP DNS address were specified properly (by either using online login into routerOS or via winbox installed on a local computer).
This should be common sense, but for total newbies out there:
Your home network needs a single modem.
Your home network requires a single router (whether built-in into the modem, or standalone like this unit provides).
Limited number of devices can be inserted given limited number of ports of a router (usually four ports from either the modem/router combo, or a barebones router like this).
If you need to connect more devices than router's ports allow, switch(es)' Upstream port may be plugged in to the router. Even more switches may be plugged in to these switches.
After this, a great deal of further learning needs to be undertaken to enhance the security of your home network and add additional functionality to it. Good luck!
You can easily have a Wi-Fi-free home (although you still get it second-hand from neighbors) if you turn Wi-Fi OFF on ALL devices that you have. Additional RF exposure reduction can be achieved by:
Disabling 5G on your cellphone (if available on the phone).
Using wired headset or Bluetooth (as long as you use it for short calls and NOT all day to listen to music) or hands-free on your cellphone.
With advanced skills (highly contingent on manufacturer's support, too), you can even reverse-tether your cellphone!
I wanted to turn off Xfinity/Comcast cable modem Wi-Fi for health reasons. Currently, renting the usual cable modem + Wi-Fi hotspot + Ethernet router. Some MORON software engineer (well, more likely his management or sales/marketing department) REQUIRES that disabling Wi-Fi on these units also kills internal Ethernet router functionality (what the frack?). Not trusting a third-party modem+router combo, I am buying the router first separately, followed by a modem later.
1. Buy this MikroTik hEX S Gigabit Ethernet Router (RB760iGS), I do recommend it from a technical capabilities and richness of configuration standpoint, but I am NOT much happy from documentation, ease of use, or newbie friendliness.
2. Log in to Xfinity customer website, and turn OFF your public Wi-Fi hotspot (the feature that allows other Comcast customers to use your modem as their access point). This has to be done from the website, I don't think it can be done from the modem itself.
3. Unplug any Ethernet cables inserted into modem's ports numbered above 1. ONLY port #1 will be active from now on. Ports 2-4 will be dead.
4. Log in to your modem, by using Ethernet 1 port, and by logging in to 10.0.0.1
5. Place your modem into Bridge mode. Bridge = ON. You will get a warning. After application, screen will ask you to wait for 1 minute.
At this point I already had the router plugged in, but I was having the following symptoms:
No Internet access from the computer(s)
Router was not able to detect upgraded firmware online
I started outputting bricks at this point because I could not get Internet working, but it turns out that the modem has to be RESTARTED (power cycled) before it will start providing the router with DHCP packets.
6. Unplug your cable modem for at least 30 seconds.
7. Plug it back in. Modem will take 1-2 minute to initialize, wait until lights on front panel are steady (Wi-Fi lights may be blinking from now on, however).
8. Connect Port 1 from Xfinity modem via a CAT6 Ethernet cable (minimum), into Port 1 of router.
9. Power up the MikroTik router.
10. Wait for the router to initialize. It will make a few beeps.
11. Navigate to 192.168.88.1
12. Default settings SHOULD get you on the internet with BASIC router functionality.
IF you do not get internet access within 5-10 minutes of power-up of both devices, you may need to change your tactic slightly to force one to see the other. Try this:
13. Power-cycle the Xfinity modem, first making sure that NETHER your MikroTik hEX router OR PC are attached to it.
14. Power down the hEX S router.
15. After the modem's reset has completed, NOW connect the hEX S Port 1 to modem's Ethernet Port 1 and power ON the hEX S.
16. Now connect your PC or other devices to the hEX S router using Ports 2-5 and you should have access to the Internet
If you STILL have no internet after trying it both ways and waiting up to 15 minutes, you may need to check if your ISP DNS address were specified properly (by either using online login into routerOS or via winbox installed on a local computer).
This should be common sense, but for total newbies out there:
Your home network needs a single modem.
Your home network requires a single router (whether built-in into the modem, or standalone like this unit provides).
Limited number of devices can be inserted given limited number of ports of a router (usually four ports from either the modem/router combo, or a barebones router like this).
If you need to connect more devices than router's ports allow, switch(es)' Upstream port may be plugged in to the router. Even more switches may be plugged in to these switches.
After this, a great deal of further learning needs to be undertaken to enhance the security of your home network and add additional functionality to it. Good luck!
You can easily have a Wi-Fi-free home (although you still get it second-hand from neighbors) if you turn Wi-Fi OFF on ALL devices that you have. Additional RF exposure reduction can be achieved by:
Disabling 5G on your cellphone (if available on the phone).

This is an entry level RouterOS device. It also has the SFP port which differentiates it from the regular RB750.
This board is often compared to the EdgeRouter-X as they have similar hardware and price. The hex has 2Gbps bandwidth so it should be able to handle full duplex gigabit while the ER-X can only do half.
The downside of the hex as I see it is that it isn't as linux configurable as the ER models. For example you won't get a newish feature like DNS over HTTPS or TLS until Mikrotik gets around to it, whereas it's very easy to set this up yourself on the ER-X.
That said, the hex is a great board for routing. Winbox is a nifty package. If you like the expressiveness of Winbox and don't want to maintain effectively a linux distro for a router, then I think the hex is a great choice.

Need some knowledge before buying but this lil guy is very powerful. Do not plan on plug and play if youre an online gamer. Needs adjustments which this thing has a ton. Im on xbox one and went thru weeks of figuring things out before i got an open NAT. Xbox says dont combine port forward with upnp enabled but i ended up doing both for it to work. Tips that worked for me: set xbox one static, went thru hell and back to get upnp enabled but the key component in doing so is setting the interfaces correctly. I have ethernet1 on bridge setup. Once i delegated those 2, NAT opened. Message me for details if need. Also opened all ports tcp and udp for my xbox one lan address. I know people will frown upon my work but i havent had 1 connection interruption and ive had a solid bandwidth and latency since. Also run a dns benchmark program to find your best pinged dns. Has done wonders.

This is an absolutely fantastic router with definitely not a user friendly interface. It can be a plug-and-play device, but to use all it's features it requires extensive networking and scripting knowledge. I loved this device, until I plugged in an external HDD for file sharing and realized it has about 600 kB/s transfer. Full HD (1080p) video was constantly buffering.
When next day it dropped connection interrupting my wife's work-from-home I gave up on it. That NEVER happened with any of my routers over the years. Sorry Mikrotek I wanted to keep you but I have no use for such pathetic USB performance.

It works. So far no issues.
Out of the box the PoE in is on the WAN port which does not make a lot of sense in a SOHO environment as no cable modem I know of supplies PoE.
Fortunately all of the NAT/firewall rules are written with interface lists so it’s easy enough to switch the ports in the lists and pull PoE LAN side.
I’m basically using this as to firewall off subnets of different traffic and access rules that are all trunked from Meraki equipment on one port. It is also the DHCP server for all of these subnets.
My only complaint is the OpenVPN is screwy. I cannot for the life of me get it to route traffic over a VPN even though everything else seems to be in place. I’ve done setups like that with other software without issue... it just seems to be this router.

This is a pretty advanced router with TONS of features. Basic setup is easy, just follow the "Quick Set" page to get a basic firewall and internet service working, almost plug and play. We LOVE the kid control feature... I can limit the kids use in both speed and cut them off at a certain time. The router has been stable and supports my 500/500 internet service without breaking a sweat.
NOTE: The advanced features can be pretty confusing. The company has a wiki site up that covers ALL of their routers so it can be tedious figuring out if your router supports certain things (like VERY limited VLAN support on this device).

I use this Gigabit router to connect multiple Wifi routers and desktop PC's together. It is very fast, easy to configure and built to fit in a small footprint. It is programmable unlike other routers, there are almost unlimited number of ways it can be configured. In my case I have a basic configuration since I know enough about networking to be dangerous. You need to have a solid understanding of networking to go beyound the basic configuration. I have had no problems with it. I use both the mobile and web apps to configure and monitor this router.

Made of plastic. Very flimsy and cheap looking and feeling. The configuration took far too long to actually come up then would not save with my new configuration settings. Configuration froze then would not connect again. Device could not be reset. Reset button did nothing (I assume) as I was never again able to connect and bring up the configuration with the either the IP I tried to change it to, nor the factory defaults. This was my first purchase of the MicroTik brand and I certainly would not buy it again. Most definitely not work the pretty penny they are charging for it in my opinion.

Even though Amazon tracking is only updated about every 3 days at most and it was more than a week late in getting delivered.
The MikroTik router is pretty impressive. I has so many feature that I can't imagine a configuration this wouldn't support. it will be in integral part of my home lab. I've spent a LOT more for network devices that were much less capable. I only needed a few ports because this feeds into a much bigger switch but I'm just amazed how fast it is compared to something like pfsense. I would recommend this without hesitation.

The granular ability to configure and regulate your network this device gives is beyond reproach. I just love this thing and it has definitely wowed me! Good job guys keep the good work up as there is not a negative to say, this device does it all! I mean I am still learning all the darn features it is that well set up!

While the router itself is decent, the Mikrotik documentation available is not current and often references the other older routers in this generation. Just a small example, the reset button. Older Mikrotik routers have a COMPLETELY different way of resetting the router than this one and it's not documented properly on Mikrotik's own site. I had to go to Reddit & forums to find the right answer. Will be returning and exchanging it for a Edge Router X or 4.

Amazing little router. The user interface can be a little bit overwhelming at first. However the company has great online manuals and instructions on how to perform the majority of normal tasks. I run CapsMan with this router, WiFi is significantly faster. The packet capture function is very handy for troubleshooting.

So far I'm loving this router. It turned out to be smaller than I thought it would be. I purchased it for a subnet to run security cameras with an NVR. So far it's been a great router. It's running RouterOS and the admin panel is more complex than a standard router you'd get from your ISP, which I love. It seems to have a ton of monitoring and configuration options. As a tech enthusiast but a noob with routerOS this will be a fun learning experience.

I have several of these in different buildings. They can do anything, except cook breakfast. One needs an advanced understanding of networking to operate the advanced features, but what ever you want it to do, IS possible. No one can come close to value for money.

Mikrotik doesn't fail, thats all. Have purchased a ton of these units and they last forever. Sometimes the updates can go stupid - but use a backup and your back in business. Do recommend these, rack units are a little better but for a desktop router - these do great.

we used to get the 750gr3 (Hex Lite) but for $10 more these are totally worth it.
We often configure these in bridge mode to use as transparent traffic shapers but i also use them for remote troubleshooting because i can stream captures to my office to trouibleshoot voip/connectivity issues.
For a more robust carrier-grade platform i highly recommend the rb1100ahx4 or the CCR series. config is the same accross the board for everything in the mikrotik lineup
