This controller will be going back to the store. I'll be looking for something better. The reasons are:1. The buttons that are supposed shift gears are missing. No shifting gears. Talk about realistic simulation!2. Does not feel like a real steering wheel at all!End of story.

Really helpful for racing games. Gives you more control than the regular controller. Use it on Forza.4. Have not tried it on other games, but want to get another one for dual racing.

Overall a good wheel, but some parts of Forza are not accessable. Trigger buttons do not work within the menue system of Forza. it is surprising MS did not see this and program the wheel accordingly. Maybe they will do a software update for this or Forza may need to make an adjustment on their side.FYI holding wheel verticle is very important to good steering control.

I like the wireless system. I do not like the unavailability of the L and R front buttons. They are needed to change the external views while in the drivers seat. The wheel does take a lot of motion to make a turn with it also.

no shoulder buttons so it did not work with the F1 2012 game (needed for DRS and KERS). I am sure I can find a use for it, just don't know what that might be yet...

I have to say, when xbox started phasing out the Force Feedback wheel I was very disappointed. I love that wheel and still use for NASCAR 09. So I saw this on Lightning Deals for twenty, I thought it was worth a shot. I am very surprised how well this works(I have only used with HORIZON)If you can get between 20 or 25 its worth it.

I can actually play Forza without frustration now! I hate using those controllers...maybe I don't have the patience to learn...but either way, trying to use the x-box controller to drive has kept me away from playing racing games.Now this comes along...and driving is fun.For the price, I've never used anything better.

It doesn't really work with older xboxs. I have the Halo 3 Special Addition XBOX 360 and it worked on that but I would lose connection constantly to my XBOX making it hard to play games.

The problem with this otherwise fantastic steering wheel is that around 50% of driving games out there for the XBOX 360 dont actually support this wheel. So be aware of that before you buy. With PGR 4 it works great even though you cannot customize the buttons. Dirt 2 works great also. The last couple of Forza games work great with this wheel too. If Microsoft were smart they would push for greater compatibility with this wheel.

I picked up this wheel since I had a gift card and because I'm not a hardcore enough racer to merit a Fanatec setup. For the price, this is a really good wheel. It has a good feel in the hand, has good construction quality, and has all the buttons easily accessible. The triggers have a longer throw then the standard controller for added throttle control. The tops of the controller also light up when you are getting near the redline and when you change gears. The wheel responds as soon as you turn, most easily seen when driving in the cockpit view in Forza 3/4 and other racing games. Also, Forza 4 will automatically adjust the controls when you use this wheel so you don't have to worry about it since the wheel was created with Forza in mind. It may not have a set of pedals, but this wheel with definitely help you improve your lap times once you get used to using a wheel since you'll have more precision. Like others have stated, it lacks LB and RB so if you need them for tuning and such you'll want to change over to a standard controller before taking your car for a spin with the wheel. Honestly, if your a casual racer then this wheel is for you since you can pick it up and play whenever and it doesn't take up space like a Fanatec cockpit would. This wheel won't compete with a Fanatec or other expensive wheel, but it was never meant to. If you're looking to improve your racing experience without breaking the bank, then pick this up and you'll have no regrets.

I find this wheel much easier to use in casual racing than the x box controller.But in Forza Horizon there are times when using the hand brake makes for better controls in turnsIt takes a little practice adjusting to it after using a wheel or the x box controller but is a lot of fun - and the ladies find it easier to use also.

This is the best steering wheel controller I've used. Very responsive and sensitivity is incredible when playing racing games. So much better to use than the Xbox controller to steer vehicles.

This was a perfect gift for my husband. He loved how it makes all his car games much more comfortable. Took some time to sync, but afterwards we had no issues. Better then the regular controller. Thanks.

While the speed wheel seems like it would be a great accessory for car racing video games, it is far too "twitchy" and sensitive to slight movements. I wouldn't recommend.

this wheel missed left button and right button, so there are no shifts in games like f1 2011, I knew it from the start but this was a present, just to let you know its not very responsive until you calibrate it

These wheels are a lot of fun if you are wanting to just have some fun and mess around. The real controller is probably better if you want to be really competitive just because of the added ease of joystick controls. The family loves these and they are a lot of fun! Responsive enough and easy controls.

I purchased the Speed Wheel to improve my performance in the auto racing games within Xbox as I found the standard controller nearly impossible to master. The Speed Wheel is only marginally better. I would not recommend this item.

As a hardcore gamer using PC based gaming rigs and peripherals as well as the Xbox 360 as a gaming console, I have been pleasantly surprised by the wireless speed wheel. Not only worked perfectly with Forza Motorsport 4, but for older driving simulation games like Dirt 2 and others. Pure joy to use!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. The price was reasonable for xbox steering wheels and he says it's very responsive. Arrived quickly too.
