For the price, this is a good product. The sound quality is 4 stars (clear, good volume, some sound cancelling, though probably more because of proximity to face and structural design of mic), the fit is 3 stars (decent comfort for a short call, but irritates the tops of ears after a while; also doesn't look great for Skype/Face Time calls), and value is 5 stars. This is a great inexpensive option if you want to avoid the echoes and background sound interference of using the speakers in your computer. Nice!

In this crazy world shoppers will halt all rational research and objectivity and will go positively bonkers when Wal-Mart offers product X for price Y with value Y being a price that would suggest the product is made from used asbestos, Soviet depleted uranium, and Chinese lead paint. That said, I NEVER would have suspected that a respectable company like Logitech would follow that path.The Logitech H130 headset proved as cheap as its price as I tried to use it for World of Warcraft since I can't quite afford a Turtle Beach headset yet. It pinched my ears tight and made me feel like someone large but with small fingers was squeezing my head tight to the point where my ears were begging me to take the headset off. The sound was good but the comfort, or lack thereof, negated any possible benefit that the H130 may have brought on.I will probably settle for a Turtle Beach when I save up enough money for one but, for now, I can't stick with the H130 so I will do the unthinkable in gaming; stop playing and go outside in the meantime.

I had a pair of these right before this pair and loved them immensely until I tripped over the cord and bent the inputs to my laptop. So I bought another pair and they work the same and perfectly if not better. Glad I decided on these again. Sound especially for the Google Voice is great!

I don't use headphones for much but talking on Skype & listening to music. I was able to use these headphones to clearly communicate online & listen to music. For the price they were well worth it.

These are great for watching streaming video the sound comes through clean and clear.I have no use for the microphone at this time but I do like that it can be shifted out of the way when you do not need it.I would have to say one drawback is that the design of having it sit over your ears and across the back of your head is a bit uncomfortable, it does not adjust to people with smaller heads nor does it always sit comfortably over the ears. Does not make the device unwearable but it would be nice to be able to adjust the back so it fits closer to my head.

I use Skype to talk to my son in Hawaii, and sometimes the background noise (I have three other kids at home) was almost too much for him to be able to understand me and for me to hear him. I can put these on, still hear the kids if they need me, but I'm also able to hear Skype much more clearly. At first, I didn't like them because they kept sliding down and I couldn't figure out a comfortable position for them, then, I realized I had them on UPSIDE DOWN, lol! They work much better right side up.My oldest son at home has gone through several headsets in the past few years, some quite pricey. I think these are good enough for game playing and talking on Skype and right now they are listed at a very reasonable price, so I think I'll order another set for him this Christmas.

This headset is described as a noise canceling device but that is a stretch it seems to me. The earphones fit very loosely (nothing like snug fit of Bose earphones that cost 15 times more. The sound quality is adequate, but the quality is flat and lacks both tone and vibrancy. Compared to a pair of $40 Brookstone earbuds the sound is nowhere close. However, this headset does include a microphone, so you can video conference, make calls or otherwise interact by voice. I would judge this headset as almost equal in quality to one that I bought at Radio Shack for about the same price. Don't expect serious noise cancelation technology and don't expect a comfortably fitting headset, but do expect barebones product that will suffice until you decide to upgrade to something much better.

This is the worst microphone I have ever used. Scratch that, tried to use. Logitech support for it boils down to "Well, it's probably broken. Good luck!" If you want a pair of good headphones, there are much, much better headphones for the same price. Please, don't buy this for the fake microphone they have attached to the headphones, for what must be purely aesthetic reasons. Unless, of course, you need them for a stage prop, in which case this sub-par pair of headphones with optional non-working microphone is perfect.

I found these pinched my ears. After a very short period of time, my ears were throbbing. I'll admit, I have a large head, but it wasn't like it was tight on my ears, it was more like, loose and gravity was trying to pull them down, which was hurting my ears. I also prefer something with full ear coverage, like old, traditional headphones to drown out background noise. I also wish this were USB. Who uses the green and purple plugs anymore? One of my tablets doesn't even have a place to plug these things in. These might work for other people's purposes, but did not work for mine and were very uncomfortable.

These are excellent for a set of good basic headphones. They are great for Skype, as well as listening to music. You can still hear what is going on around your with out it being disturbing and without you being surprised.

The sound is good. But not sure how they design this headset, it gives you headache as soon as you put it on for 5 minutes. It's just too tight. I decide still to keep it since I don't use it very often, maybe once a week. If you used it longer, it's a bad choice..

While the sound quality is good, I can't really use these headphones because they are too big for my head and are not adjustable. They keep sliding down any time I move my head even a little bit, and I've tried wearing them several different ways.

Um, yeah so.....I guess I didn't read the fine print on this. Hopefully everyone else will.This NOT a USB headset; I totally thought it was as I was searching USB headsets and this came up somehow during my search. It is NOT NOT NOT a USB headset. It's dual 1/8" i.e. headphone output from your pc; microphone input.It will work with most PCs but the feedback I get consistently is that the volume coming from it is REALLY low when I talk. I think I had to like triple my outbound via ventrillo to get people to hear me.Make sure you actually want a NON-USB headset when you buy this =).

We are sastified with this headset, most because of how it fits the ears and its lack of feedback and noise. The sounds are great. We asked the kids to check it out. They were all smiles using this.

The microphone on this headset is awful. The person on the other end hears me like I am speaking underwater or am hiding shards of broken glass in my throat. The sound is distorted and unnatural. If you're buying for the headphones, then it's fine. If you want to use the mic and be understandable, you're out of luck.

I bought this logitech head seat because I needed a VOIP headset to attend meetings online. I work from home and needed something so i can attend training as well, Ive used them a couple times and I have had any problems out of them. I can hear very clear and people can clearly hear me as well. It gets the job done so I gave it 5 stars

This headset fits nice on my head. The price is really good. Maybe half of what it would cost anywhere else. But sometimes I could hear some static on the headphones. I don't know what causes it. Never had this problme before. Besides that the unit is really good!

I work from home and have frequent conversations on Skype. This is a really perfect, low-cost headset. I rarely have problems with it, the sound is very clear, and it requires no setup -- just plug and play! Highly recommended if you need a no-fuss headset.

I love these things, the sound quality is awesome, they were easy to install, they were in the right price range and the mic works great. I recommend this for people who like to Skype and use their webcams. I think if you are a gamer you might want something a little more high quality.

The headset works pretty well, but the seller didn't say if it's USB or 1/8th", it's 1/8th". Also, in online games, people say when I talk it sounds like my mic is next to the speakers. I'm not using speakers. I turned down the record input on my sound card and I think it's better but I don't know.

I've tested the mic on several different types of software. Including; Games, Steam, and Skype. It seems the problem is that no one can seem to hear me, (unless I scream loudly into the mic.)
