very good webcam. the quality is excellent, as stated by all my friends. there is a catch; you need good internet or else it will be bad. mic is okay, but you need to speak up a bit in order to people to hear you. you may also want to consider moving it away from your speakers unless you have headphones, which is always a good idea.

Great picture quality for skype or other video chat software. This unit does not include a 264 encoder chip, which means it requires a lot of computer horsepower to use it if you want to use games or other intensive programs simultaneously. I do a lot of gaming with group skype calls and had to upgrade to a better logitech cam that included the chip. If you're not trying to video chat and game at the same time, this thing is a real bargain!

The Logitech TV Cam HD is totally amazing. The video delivers great image quality, even with lots of head movements. In addition, the audio quality is crystal clear. This enables such a great "a picture is worth a thousand words" experience. Totally worth the money! A+++++!

If you're looking for a webcam to skype with or whatever, this webcam is the one. Great, easy to use product with a cheep price. I had ordered a cheaper camera for my computer, and I got tired of waiting for them to ship it. In fact, Its still in China. This camera arrived 2 days after I ordered (free shipping). GET THIS WEBCAM. :) I have been skyping my man in stationed in Japan ever since I got it, and I'd order it a hundred times more.

Not compatible with my Dell Inspiron 5100. I was able to load software but computer could not connect the webcam. Installed it on desktop and works good

unfortunately after receiving my camera from Amazon and continuing for several days to try to hook it up to my smart TV made by LG. I found out the hard way that this particular camera is not compatible with LG televisions! as for the shipper the company ship the camera extremely fast and processed my return quickly, however I just wish they really would have been more detailed and explaining what TVs the camera worked for and did not work for.

Set up took me about 5 minutes. Picture quality is great. We get to Skype with our children and our grandson. It is way better than a phone call. The only thing that drives me nuts is we get Spammed alot and there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of this.

We had looked for something reasonably priced but versatile to our needs and this won. It has easy maneuverability and operates just as it should. It also installed without a problem. Only issue we had was that when we did nudge the computer just a tad too hard it would fall off and depending on how it feel the adjustable brace on the back would bend and therefore we would have to take time to readjust it again.

Great HD picture, easy setup, wireless/wired option. I wish my TV could wake up on incoming call. Only one thing this cam is missing: louder ringer.

This is an upgrade from my Hama brand web camera and it is ridiculously better. My significant other says she can see me much more clearly on Skype, regardless if I am still or in motion. A great purchase!

This is a pretty good camera. And it does work well using a WiFi connection. However, the inability to adjust the exposure level so that you can see people who are otherwise back lit is a problem. Depending on the time of day and amount of sunlight in the room as well as the direction of the sunlight (we have windows on three sides) I have to do a lot of adjusting of blinds and interior lights to provide a good picture.I think this might be fixed with a software upgrade ?

After reading many horror stories about Panasonic's Skype camera for their TV's I happened upon a mention of this camera. I've owned many Logitech products from cameras to universal remotes to mice and trackballs so I thought it would be worth a try, especially considering that it was about $60 CHEAPER than Panasonic's version!Thanks goodness I did! It worked perfectly out of the box... literally! It's larger than you might expect if you've purchased webcams meant for a typical computer... about 6 3/8" wide by 1 9/16" tall but it does not seem large once it's on a TV that's meant to use it. Plus it has to be this big to accommodate the nice big lens and multiple microphones.The view (from your caller's point of view) is spectacular! Logitech has it listed as a 78 degree angle of view and it is every bit of that. It's very easy to get an entire family into view if that's what your looking for. The quality of the image is very good as well even in less than optimal light.Audio quality has not been overlooked either. When I Skyped home to try it out, I could easily hear my wife, her friend and my daughter who were all it different areas of a large family room. It didn't seem like they had to 'talk up' either. Everyone was having a comfortable conversation. There were a few times when I would hear myself echo ever so slightly but this was no worse than any other Skype experience I've had. Sometimes it just happens.The camera also has a nice blue led light that frames the right and left side the lens. It lights up to let you know the camera is active. And it looks pretty cool to boot!

This is clearly the next best thing to having the grand kids coming over to play in my living room. I took advantage of the discount on buying two at the same time. One on my wide screen TV and one on my son's and we each can see the other's whole living room, the kids running around playing in theirs, and me sipping my favorite beverage in my recliner while talking to them all as they play. No more everyone trying to squeeze there face in front of a small screen. It is the appropriate use of technology.

When using this for Skype, the reason I bought it, the picture zooms in and out all by itself. Most disconcerting to be talking to somebody and to see their faces magnified one minute, properly viewed the next. If I understood how, I would have returned the product but I didn't so put it on a shelf and gave up trying to Skype.

I checked and double checked and triple checked to make sure this is compatible with my 2012 Panasonic Vierra GT50 but despite that, skype would crash just few seconds after it loads video. Virtually no support and Logitech doesn't even have this in their products page.Was so dissapointed as one of the reasons I went my GT50 was the ability to make skype calls. I then decided to give the Panasonic VIERA TY-CC20W Skype Communication Camera a try and to my sweet surprise, that worked without a hitch!YMMV, so beware!

Don't buy the cheap ones, spend the extra few bucks and get a web camera that works. The C270 has the best image I have ever seen in a web cam. You will be very happy with it. I use it to monitor my home. Look up TeboCam. Exelcent software for free.

My daughter have always talked on the phone, and our relationship has always blumed. Recently, our hearing both of us has declined and we had difficulty communicating . Since this technology and the skype communication system ... We can sign and read our lips ... as well as I can see my new grandchildren, So, to say the least I am totally pleased with my Logitech HD Webcam to say the least. Thanks.
