It was easy to setup and works great. I wish the picture quality was little better, but for the price I paid, this is good enough. BTW - I had to download the latest software from the net as the CD had an older version.

I bought this unit a while ago and what happened is that they forced me to upgrade the software in order to use it and now all of the sudden the image is nothing but blurry. So in other words, they rig it to where you have to buy a new cam. The problem is that the image quality is so bad you can not discern who I am. I will never buy another logitech product in my for this reason alone. I could understand if the image quality was subpar, but to make it so that you can't even make out who it is...that is bs..total bs...

I'm sure like others that have found out, the quest for a good webcam can lead to a lot of dead ends. One that kept popping up on my radar screen is the mid level Logitech C600. The thing that appealed to me primarily were the simple features. With a two tone black finish, the glass lens C600 is packed with an attached 6' USB cable, software CD, instructions and a two year product warranty.The expandable clip easily attaches to my LCD monitor or it can free stand on the desk. I found that the webcam installs perfectly with or without the enclosed Logitech software. Just plug and play. It paired well with both Meebo and Google's Gmail "G Chat" without stalling or interruptions. Another plus is, it paired well with both my desktop and laptop.I was very impressed by the clarity and sharpness of image transmission. The microphone picks up even the faintest of whispers. The jury is out on the product's RightLight technology. I did not see that much difference in lighting over my older Logitech webcam. The manually operated privacy shutter is a nice add on.The much hyped Logitech video calling network software package with its special effects and avatars is probably an okay add on for some but not for us. Personally I find it too intrusive. As I have mentioned earlier, its not required to get the webcam up and running. Other chat networks work fine without it.Overall for the price and features, I find the Logitech C600 Webcam to be a step up over other internet communication tools in the same category. The C600 delivers on the basics and more.

Bought this webcam to use on skype to keep in touch with family! My laptop doesn't have a built in mic so when I saw this I was excited. The family says my video and mic sound great and can't believe I got it so cheap!

Very happy with this webcam ordered via Amazon.comPromp delivery. Top quality. I love Logitech products, their quality control rates on their products seem to reach the 100% rates for trouble free products. Easy to connect to your computer. Works in less than 5 minutes! 1.3MP gives a great and sharp picture. More than enough for Google chat or Skype. I would recommend that particular C200 model to anyone.

I got this last night. It took a few minutes to download the software and immediately said it required a software upgrade from the site but after about 10 minutes it was installed and ready to go. My daughter got to skype with her grandma 800 miles away and it was perfect. The picture and sound were much better than I expected.

this is great quality for the price. If you're looking for something that's better than just your average cheapo webcam, but is not ridiculously expensive, this is the one. It has some cool features and filters on it. Works with gmail.

... at first. I used it mainly for photos and yahoo chat. But lately every time I plug it in, my computer goes to the blue screen and has to do some sort of crash dump thing! It's ridiculous! It's not the first time I've had a problem with a Logitech product, but it will be the last. I've wasted too much money on products that work well the first 6 months and then crap out. Don't waste your money!

Great little add-on video camera for a laptop. Small, good clip to attach it to the top of the screen border area.Although this is not the latest product from Logitech it is an excellent value and should please most anyone lookingto pickup a nice cheep add-on camera. One thing to keep in mind. The drivers on the disc are out dated so just plugthe unit in to the USB and let windows find the current drivers.

I have owned this for a little over 6 months and don't use it a lot. I have used it on both Skype and yahoo with no problem at all. I'm sure there are a lot better cams with more bells and whistles that cost a lot more money, but this works fine for me. It was simple to install, simple to use and does the job of basic video chats.

Not a great camera, but it works. I used it a lot last semester in order to Skype my friends at school. It tended to lag and the image/sound quality was subpar. If I were you, I would look at different cameras.

There are hundreds of webcams out there and it took me some time to decide on this one. No regrets. Delivered on schedule. Installed without a hitch. Reasonable price, good, clear video and sound quality, although I don't know how a slow internet connection would affect the video quality. I am very satisfied with this product and recommended it to a friend who bought it and liked it too.

My granddaughter had a webcam that had very poor picture quality. When I got my webcam & we tried to skype, all I could see of my great-granddaughter was a blur. Of course, this is the reason I wanted to skype with her! I had bought a Logitech 250 webcam & it had satisfactory quality, for a reasonable price. So I ordered this webcam for my granddaughter. It arrived quickly & now I can see my great-granddaughter as she is taking her first steps!! Wonderful.

The delivery and everything was pretty good.But the cam gets stuck before starting..but once it starts broadcasting its uninterrupted..can use it only on skype for now..doesnt work with yahoo messenger..and its a bit bulky for a 2MP camera..But then the price was the clincher..if looking for quality ,certainly this is not for you..

I took a flyer on this because I'm frequently disappointed by tech products. Basically, I'm just a user and don't understand most of the descriptions and directions written by people who's first, and perhaps only, language is hexadecimal or that make unfounded knowledge assumptions. I bought this product with some trepidation but my fears were unfounded. In a few simply described steps I got the camera running and everything works great!! Great product and great instructions!!

Got it expecting a mediocre cam. Easily installed drivers, and practically plug-and-play!Just used it on Skype, and it looks better than my friend's built-in cam by FAR!Not HD or anything, but certainly worth the price it sold for.

I bought this camera as a needed tool for an online class and had to return it. The minimum requirements do not state that it does not work with Windows 7. I could not install the drivers on my laptop, so I went to the Logitech website to try to find a driver for W7, but there is none. This camera is not supported for W7.

I am very satisfied with this product. The cam is small enough, but yet the quality is very good at a very inexpensive cost. I would definitely refer this on to friends and family.

This webcam is simply so easy a caveman could use it (wow that sounded corny). Anyway, the sound is a little scratchy. The picture quality is average at best; it's very fuzzy. Plus, there are not many features. By features I mean webcam settings, special effects, etc. It is just okay.

I bought this camera through amazon's Japan site (since I live in Japan)....the information about the camera doesn't say that you can't use with MAC, but when I got it, it didn't work. I emailed the company with my complaint, and they said, yes, indeed, this camera doesn't work with my MAC OS, and no they wouldn't refund my money,because it's not covered in the warranty, even though I hadn't used the camera. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Buy from a company who respects their customers!

It's not the best, it's ok for what I want it for. I don't use it much. Color don't show on my end when talking, but the other people can see me in color, I's really no big deal.
