Excellent IPS monitor!
This monitor is IPS and excellent for using with spreadsheets and large amounts of data. No more problems with eye strain and lots of room for multiple documents at the same time. Photos and videos also look very good on this screen, but the crisp text is amazing compared to non-IPS monitors. Not sure how much good the curve does since I did not have glare problems where I sit, but the curved model is super thin and light. Not sure if it does not have built in speakers or I just don’t have them turned on (don’t think it does, but controls have volume). The USB 3.0 port is very handy for keeping an iPhone charged all day during work.

Research about your pc resolution
The image is ok, but my pc graphics card doesn’t support the 2560x 1080, even it is a 2020 model, after buy this minutos, research on your pc settings. The on screen message (attached on my photo) is not on the add, so be careful.

A Good Ultra Wide On A Budget
I would recommend this monitor if your looking for an ultra wide on a budget. Here's why, first it's a 2560 by 1080 display you can't notice the pixels unless you go really close to the monitor other wise it's very crisp and sharp. Second, it's a good monitor for gaming the response time is 5ms which isn't bad, but good enough for playing games and having the extra space on the screen allows you to see more but that's only if the game your playing supports 21:9 otherwise you will have black bars on both sides. Another pro about the monitor is the height adjustable stand which allows for the best viewing angles to fit your needs. The monitor when first setup is has very warm colors I recommend going into the settings and changing it around until it suits you.

Can't beat the price for the performance
This is a great monitor and awesome value. It looks great even if you don't sit far from your monitor. Games that support the 2K res looks crisp and perfect. Currently run Battlefield1 at ultra on this bad boy and it's just incredible.
Things to note for those who are cool like me and don't read directions.
1. The power button is in the center on the bottom.
2. You have to manually go into the monitor settings to enable freesync otherwise your pc will not recognize the 75hz option.
3.Nvidia cards can utilize th 75hz free sync but you won't get the benefit of the dynamic refresh rate. So make sure you can run the game with at least 75fps.
A few of my friends are placing orders after seeing it in action.

Updated to 4 stars for customer service
After 2 weeks of use it already has a dead pixel... Called Customer Support, and they informed me they will not do anything unless there are 5 or more dead pixels because of the size of the monitor... Seriously... $600 monitor and this is your customer support.
Update: after talking with customer support and a little arguing over product quality, they sent me a newer model. The new one also has a dead pixel, but the resolution is much higher so it isn't as noticeable. I occasionally mistake the single pixel for a small piece of dirt, besides that, I am satisfied.

Going on 2 years and no issues
I use this monitor probably 14 hours a day between work, research, finances and streaming movies with my wife and I have never had an issue. We have it teamed up with a workhorse desktop (I'm in IT and I work from home) and a THX stereo system, so most of the time we sit in my office and watch this instead of the theater room downstairs. Honestly it's the best monitor I've ever owned.

It's like two 1080p monitors side by side.
I have a Windows 8.1 laptop with a 1080p builtin display. Another 1080p monitor is attached via the vga port on the laptop. This monitor is plugged into the laptop hdmi port, and it works as expected. My laptop now has 3 displays, the builtin 1080p display, an external 1080p monitor, and this monitor which is essentially 2 x 1080p.
A caveat I learned the hard way years ago, mix and matching different resolution monitors on a pc works, but the way windows get dragged across displays is not ideal. Windows become distorted, sometimes portions not visible, when they cross over to monitors with that have different resolutions.
This monitor works perfectly when added to a mix of other 1080p monitors.

Best LG ultrawide
I have this and the 29 inch LG Ultrawide, this has a "Softer" picture quality than the 29 inch Ultrawide, but it's well worth it purely for the size. For gaming it can't be beat. Movies are about the same between the 2, and same with multitasking, but for gaming this is God tier. Why 1080? Frames per second. Why 75Hz? Because 144 needs a monster pc. If you are interested in Ultrawide for gaming, this is the one you want because the 29 inch doesn't get you as immersed as the 34 does. Buy it, it's totally worth it. Picture attached has this monitor on the bottom and the 29 inch on top with a movie going.

Using for work!
I bought this for work. Most of my company uses dual monitors but I've always be a fan of 1 larger monitor. My old monitor, which I loved, was a 27' Samsung but I wanted something bigger. I was going to buy another standard monitor but bigger and didn't want to spend too much. After days of browsing and reading reading reviews I pulled the trigger on this one. I LOVE IT! Colors are great, size is perfect (fits 2 pages of excel side by side perfectly) and the price was not crazy! BUY IT!

Great to be rid of multiple monitors
I first had this monitor hung on the wall. Once I decided to try the stand it came with, I was extremely surprised with the sheer quality of the stand. The tilt and height adjustments work beautifully. I'm a computer science major and main purpose was more screen room without needing multiple monitors. This does the trick for sure. I've watched a few movies on it just to see and the quality of the picture blew me away.
The only real drawback I see in this, and it's the only thing that stuck out so far, is the chime it makes when you turn the monitor on. It sounds like an error message.

... wobble people complain about is real and can be annoying. In also have a bit of back light ...
The wobble people complain about is real and can be annoying. In also have a bit of back light bleed, but I am so used to this that I don't notice anymore. Even with it's flaws it is the best monitor I have ever owned. Great picture quality, affordable, and games in ultra wide look amazing. I also really like the freesync it works way better than I imagined it would. For the money you can't get a better display!

skeptical-customer service at LG... hilarious....
on my second one in a 3 week period... I had the exact same experience as "Greg" in his review. I have a new Mac Book Pro Retina.. so it wasn't my computer. I too called Customer Service.. cue the Bennie Hill music... They had no idea on what to do to help me.. after 10 minutes of circular verbal reading from their predisposed script.. I hung up.. It was a complete waste of my time. I then contacted Amazon who "as usual" were outstanding in taking care of me and my dilemma .... Amazon is the BEST... I received a replacement within a few days. and shipped the non functional one back and received the credit quickly.. I am hoping this one continues to work.. I tried 4 brand new cables with all the varying potential connections to see if it was possible the cables.. NOPE.... when i received the replacement.. I used the same cable i purchased from amazon ... thunderbolt to hdmi... Voila' worked!! still working for two weeks.. if this one fails.. no more LG for me.. I am using it for cad work and business mostly.. it is very useful to have the large screen.. I am not a gamer.. so I have no idea if it is a good choice for that... i will be purchasing another 34" monitor soon.. I am waiting to see if this one lasts before i would consider another LG... Good Luck in your search..

Love the monitor, hate the power cord brick!
Love the ultra-wide screen! Makes life so much easier, especially when working on multiple documents or spreadsheets.
But, I mounted this with an Omni-mount full motion wall mount (again, amazing)! ..but the power cord has a brick (transformer) built in about 3 feet down, so it's now dangling below my otherwise well-organized wall mounted monitor. :(
LG, please put the brick down by the power cord and make the cord at least 8' long so I can wall mount! PLEASE.

Awesome gaming monitor!
This is an awesome gaming monitor. The display width is breathtaking. The speed with Freesync on is great. For what you get the price is quite reasonable. Colors are good. It also the ability to split into two "virtual" monitors if you need a dual monitor display for work. If there is anything negative I can say it's that is slightly "pixely" when viewed closely, 2500 pixels isn't enough to completely smooth the display. However, this is probably OK for gaming because it allows your video to refresh faster than it would at a higher resolution. If you can afford this vs. the 29" version I'd definitely get this one.

Without a doubt the best priced monitor available right now.
Originally bought this monitor for my home. I do a fair bit of music production and needed some extra real estate for the screen. Did a ton of research going into the purchase. I fell in love with a that a friend of mine owns. The dell was priced about 700. This is an insane bang for your buck price. I came across this one online and and had great specs for the price. I purchased the monitor 5 months ago. I love it so much I purchased a second one for work. It has become my go to for everything I do. It easily stands up to monitors twice this price. 10/10 will buy a third soon.

This has made working from home MUCH more enjoyable. I absolutely love this monitor and want to get 2 more actually lol
Color quality is great, text is crystal clear, response rate seems phenomenal. Only thing I wish was it was more than 1080p but at this price point it is a steal!

Unreal. Love it.
This monitor kills it. I honestly cannot express how amazing the Freesync technology improves gaming - the smoothness. Gracious, the smoothness. It seriously feels like a brand new PC; games "run" better and feel like they have new life. It's truly a game-changer and I'd recommend investing in this monitor technology over a crazy expensive GPU, which wouldn't even get you the SMOOTHNESS that this provides. Did I mention the smoothness? Plus, the 21:9 ratio is incredibly immersive on this size of a screen. 1080p is still in its glory days and for a 34" (thirty-four!!! I love living in the future) at this price point (thanks Amazon Prime Day) you honestly cannot go wrong.

Decent monitor, crap apps
The included software to allow apps to "share " the monitor is clunky and non-intuitive..and the website "manual" is poor. LG does have a dual-controller app that is supposed to allow two PCs to "share" the screen, but it is not offered on the website for this particular model. I was hoping to have the software equivalent of a KVM switch to switch between PC inputs, but no dice. You will have to buy a physical KVM switch. But otherwise a decent monitor for the price paid.

Great ultra-wide at a great price. Works seamlessly with Linux / Ubuntu 16.04.
I've been wanting an ultra-wide monitor for a while and there was a lightning deal I couldn't pass up.
Since I was doing a new Linux / Ubuntu build with a Ryzen 7 1800x and other great stuff, I decided to treat myself and do the new build justice with this monitor.
I'm a developer and having the horizontal real estate for my IDE helps with productivity and keeping everything in sight without scrolling.
I'm using this as a center monitor in a three monitor setup (the side monitors are LG's as well; 27" 1080p).
Although this is not a curved monitor, it doesn't really affect the experience.

Good Monitor&Stand/Gamers Need DisplayPort Cable
Very accurate colors and it is great to have a large monitor at a respectable price. Also, the stand is easy to adjust and hard to move. Freesync and 75 hz are great to take advantage of, but after a firmware update you need a DisplayPort cable sold separately. If you are using this for gaming you have to have a DisplayPort cable because they only give HDMI. Also, I had to return my monitor due to dead pixels so there may be shaky quality control.

love the screen area
I've had this for a year and am still amazed at the clarity, and the size is so handy it will probably be heading to the office as soon a I can replace it. :)
It woks fantastic, but it sounds like it would be even better with AMD.
I would give this 5 stars if it was made for NVIDIA graphic cards.

Update: At least they fixed the product page
Original review: As another reviewer noted, this is monitor does not support 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution as is stated on this web page.
Update: Since the product page has been corrected, I change to three stars. I only spent 15 or 20 minutes with the monitor before returning it (due to the product page error), but I did find a few things to like. The screen is nice and big, and the setup was easy. The movable stand that slides the monitor up and down was easy to use and felt very sturdy. On the down side, next to my 29inch LG uw display at the same resolution, this monitor looked a little blurry. This might be OK for gaming but my setup is for office work.
Conclusion: I guess 3440x1440 for $600 was too good to be true, but this does seem like a solid display if you are fine with 2560x1080 at 34 inches.
