- + 1)Достойный звук для такой цены, басы норм.
2)Легкий вес, на уши не давят, после нескольких часов конференций/уроков/игр не уши не болят.
Отлично подойдут для онлайн конференций, получше игровых наушников в этом плане, и музыку слушать приятно, приятнее чем Kraken X например, сравнил.
3) В играх тоже все в порядке, можно понять откуда идут враги и тд. - - 1)Корпус из пластика без каких либо покрытий вроде soft touch. Сначала есть впечатление, что они дико неудобные, но потом наушники просто даже не чувствуешь, надеты ли они. Дело привычки.
2)Очень тонкие провода и микрофон нельзя подключить отдельно без проводов...

В восторге от наушников. Очень удобно теперь держать их в кармане так как провода не путаются. Звучат просто шикарно, я даже не думала что у капелек может быть настолько чистый звук. Есть правда пара моментов: 1. Штучка на которую наматываются наушники придает им вес - но это думаю не проблема.2. открывайте аккуратней - упаковка уж больно мудренная и есть шанс сломать наушники пока их оттуда выташишь (мы были на грани)

Первое впечатление от наушников, увидел и засмеялся, их размер потряс меня, такие затычки размером я еще не видел)) для каких они ушей делаются я не в курсе, но в мои с трудом залазеют, и торчат как буд-то бананы из ушей) по звучанию они действительно хорошы, насыщенный бас, звукоизоляция превосходная!

- + - Лучший звук, что я слышал. В т.ч. в играх. Музыка в них не просто играет, а льётся в уши.
- На уши не давит.
- Звук глубокий, чёткий и насыщенный, бархатный бас.
- Большой запас по громкости.
- Конструкция лёгкая и почти не ощущается на голове.
- Вообще относительно конструкции у накладок много преимуществ: они и мягкие и уши в них не потеют, прилегают плотно.
- Лично мне их ретро вид очень...

Koss is my favorite brand for headphones, you can get really good quality without breaking the bank, because even their mid-end stuff is just great. So when I needed a new headset, I knew that's what I wanted. I got these a while ago, and they work very well, despite a LOT of abuse (I'm forever running over the ample cord with my computer chair). Sound is still very good, both in terms of output and recording.My only complaint is that if I wear them long enough it starts to hurt. Maybe I just never figured out how to position them correctly, or maybe they just don't fit alongside my glasses, but they're not great for my long gaming sessions. They're designed to use pressure and tension to stay in place on your head, which is probably fine for those who don't wear glasses, but for me, it causes an uncomfortable pinch. Also the edges where they go up over the ear are kind of sharp, so if I adjust the headset to relieve the pinch, it digs into my ear a little, which isn't comfy. Again, this might be user error or perhaps the "behind the head" layout is just a bad design for me, but think carefully about what's comfortable for you before you dive into a headset purchase.Bottom line: If you're good with this style, than this will probably meet and likely exceed your expectations for the price. Else, you might want to keep looking.

Decent size and sound quality. Nfi where the batterys go for the vibration equalizer so will write another review on that when I find out where to put them... Mic gets in the way. Over all kinda clunky ._.

i had to use these headphones this week at work. not so good. they aren't particularly comfortable, but i've worn worse. the mic boom is terrible. it is very loose and this makes it difficult to adjust your mic to you liking, it will always fall down too low. not a problem you might think, you can adjust the flexible portion so it works. well, yes, you could, but you will probably not be in love with how stiff the boom is. it doesn't want to bend much at all. the headband is ok. not the most comfortable, but it works. if you want a good computer headset, look into a logitech set. more expensive, but worth it. turtle beach makes a very comfortable set as well, for $20 more. if you only have $30, you could do worse, but you could also do so much better.

I have had the Koss SB40 headset for over one month now. I use the headset with my Amateur Radio station,(VK3AX) it is exremely comfortable (not a problem while wearing glasses the pads are comfortable and resilient.The acoustic performance is, in all aspects: Excellent, balance (Acoustic & physical) is extremely comfortable, bass response is all one could want. Acoustic signal level is very good (meaning that you do not have to turn up the volume (gain) control which indicates that the earpiece transducers (speakers) have good sensitivity.Plenty of audio for relativly low drive level. The dynamic microphone has good sensitivity and performs best when well away from the mouth (which reduces the proximity effect of too much low frequency coupling).The headset cable is rugged & well anchored to the RH side likewise, the mic cable is well anchored to the LH earpiece; the Mic boom is not too stiff in adjustment, but stays in place over hours of use.Considering the overall package the Koss SB40 represents outstanding value for $ & amazon's delivery charges using USPS are without doubt LOWEST COST! 5/5.

The microphone quality is terrible. In voice calls, people said they could barely hear me. I will admit that the headphones are very comfortable and the sound quality was good when I first received them. However, after 3 months of normal use, the right earphone started to go out and I had to constantly adjust the wire position to get it to work. A couple weeks later, the same thing happened to the left earphone, so I had to constantly adjust both wires to get any sound to come out, and the slightest movement would break the connection. Would not recommend.

Firstly the sound: It's decent, the base seems a bit flat, but overall sound reproduction is good enough for a product of this price.Mic: Works great! Clean and clear on Ventrilo/Skype.Vibration: I was lured by this feature when choosing between this or the SB49. It turns out that you have to have a REALLY REALLY deep base in the music/sound effects for it to work. Even when turned on to maximum though it will barely shake much. You're more likely to feel the reverb of the base more than the vibration from the vibration motor.Fit on head: The headphones arrived VERY VERY tight. If one were to wear it for a while you would get a headache due to the pressure on both sides. I found that bending the headphone strab backwards so it forms a "u" instead of a "n" for a while allows the memory metal strip to loosen up somewhat. Having 1" thick ear cups certainly didn't help the matter much. Now it fits comfortably on my head for hours and still keeps enough pressure to stay put. The pads are nice and soft and since this is an over ear headset, there's no pressing on the helix, making for a comfortable wearing experience.Bottom line: If I were to make the decision again I would probably opt for the SB49 instead as it seems to have better sound reproduction and thinner ear cups.

I got these on a lark, I needed a new setup as the mic I was using prior wasn't cutting it. I saw these, and the 'vibrating' feature sold me.I was able to figure out how to insert the batteries, but only due to reading the other reviews. There literally are no instructions provided with the headset. None.That wasn't an issue though, even if I hadn't read the reviews, I'd have figured that out anyway. My issues is that these seem to have been molded for a 7 year old's head rather than a full adult. The cups are far too small for my ears and the band is so short (and nonadjustable) that I have to wear the headphones almost like Geordi LaForge's visor.The sound quality is excellent. The vibrations are awesome. But I can only stand wearing these things 30 minutes before my lobes start aching from the pressure of ill-fitting cups.Before this set, I never even though to consider 'what size' I should be getting, every other headset I've ever bought either had the foam 'sit on your ears' setup or cups that were large enough to fit my ears (and no, I'm not Dumbo the Elephant, my head and ears are of 'average' size). And while not every set I've ever bought had an adjustable headband, they were all at least large enough to fit my head.If you are a normal sized human adult, I really can't recommend getting these. If you are smaller, either a youth or an adult with a pin head. Go for it. You'll enjoy your games and music with them on.

The koss SB40 was recommended by a forum that was into audiophiling. Most of the people have hardcore expensive equipment, let alone headphones. So when they reviewed the SB40 as a great headphone even thought they have some $300-$500 headphones as well, it peaked my interest.I use these headphone for both listening to MP3's and playing computer games. This is strictly a computer headset for me.I have not tested the microphone, but the opinion on the forum was the microphone is so-so. So out of 1-10 probably a 6.Sound Computer Games:I have a Soundblast x-fi titanium and running on Vista 64. I am also piping my sound via a Logitech z550 via a coax cable so I am listening digital sound.Since Vista 64 does not support EAX sound I am not sure how to rate the overall "surround sound." I have only played warhammer online, Company of heroes, Assassin creed, call of cuty world at wars.From my experience, I do hear directional sound, but people who have my setup who run window XP they claim that they could pinpoint the direction of the sound if they were blindfolded. This is not the case with me.Assasin Creed is a lot more directional than the other games as it is one of the games that uses the alchemy software from creative to compensate for this in Vista.The other games do pipe in some directional sound, but the directional sound is not very accurate. I did buy the new creative wireless FX headset. I did notice a huge improvement in directional sound. Unfortnately I returned them as they were uncomfortable and made a popping noise. For $100 I did not want to deal with them.I bought this headset for the directional sound that the forum claimed it could produced without buying a 5.1 headphone. I believe that these headphones do, infact give you directional sound even in stereo setting if your computer OS is in-line with the computer game/software you are running.MusicAgain through the logitech z550 I set my sound to headset. I can really hear directional sound if the mp3 has intended it to. The sound is more heavier in bass and deeper. The forum said that closed earphone versus open earphone produce more bass and sound deeper sacrificing more of the light airy feeling of music. I have to agree on this. But Over all these headphones for $30-$40 dollars are solid sounding for the consumer who can distinguish cruddy sound but not a total sound nut.Comfortability.This is why I have rated this headset 3 stars. The performance is awesome. It is even more awesome, becasue of the price. The headset does clamp my head a bit too agressively making my temples throb something awful. I have "modded" the tention by pulling it and cursing at it. It still gives me some issues after about hour of nonstop use. I have come to live with it. I bought another headphone from plantronics for about the same price range. They fit like heaven. I think the difference was the pillowy cushioned earmuffs and the non agressive headgear made for the most comfortable headset experience of this price range.I returned those, because I could not get as much directional sound and I am a hardcore FPS game nut.Also I have bought the turtle beach 5.1 headphones, those headphones were also highly agressive on your temples and ears since they too lacked good earmuffs and had a crazy clamp headgear. They only relaxed after I stretched bent and basically broke it. Then they felt just fine.ConclusionIf you are a hardcore FPS nutcake, wanting to save cash, who still want some good sound from your mp3's and willing to "beat up" the headphones so they don't feel like a vice grip, then you are in luck!If you are a hardcore Fps nutcake who wants comfortability--look elsewere unless your head is not as big as mine. If you want good music and game quality you will have to buy 2 headsets. A 5.1 or 7.1 headset dedicated to gaming and one decent stereo headphones. Or else you need to buy an expensive headset with other expensive gear.If you are a music dude who wants to chatty chatty with your buddies, then I recommend a headset with more of a pillowy earmuffs or you got a small head. I don't see how anyone who would enjoy music and do some chatting on the internet would tolerate the vice grip without "beating" them up to relax them.You can go elsewhere for the same price--like plantronics.Again these conclusion are based on Price Range. If I had like another $100 I would get something else but I would have spent $140 not $40. And If I spent $140 I would rather spend $300 to get the headset and gear I wanted. But I only had $40 not $300. So if you have too much money for your own good who likes comfortability look elsewhere.

Koss SB40 Communication Stereophone3.5mm plug8 foot cordI read some customer reviews before buying this headset. Here's my write up with information I did not read in other reviews. Though I have been using the headset for only a few hours I do use online VOIP programs daily. Keep in mind I am picky and have an eye for detail.The Bad:1) No volume control on the headset or headset wire.2) The ear cushions are not removable for cleaning.3) The cloth sling is not removable for easy cleaning.4) The wire attachment is cowboy hat style which may be more likely to catch on things.5) The wire to the right side of the headset (when worn) is a single wire and more likely to bend and break.6) The cable length is listed as 8ft on the box and 9ft on website specification lists.7) The mic boom has up/down play in the swivel where it attaches on the left headset. I'm worried this will cause wear on the wiring and I may put some epoxy around it to secure it tightly.8) I had read that the mic was inadequate in that the volume of the speaker's voice came over at very low volume. This even with the WinXP mic boost selection checked. I also read that someone took the mic apart and found removing the foam insert helped. I found exactly the same thing with one exception. I put the mic back together including the foam. It was packed less tightly because the mic casing was slightly broken from my prying and held together with less pressure by the single small screw. Now my voice volume is normal if not good. Funny how products are these days. I consider this kind of weirdness rather standard anymore.The good:1) The main cord is made of three wires bound side by side which resists bending and hopefully breaking.2) The headset and phones are heavy and appear resistant to normal wear. The weight may be a bad thing for some users.3) I noticed several screws in the headset to hold it together. I prefer screws to click tabs and glue as it allows for easier maintenance.4) My head is large and the headset has a very snug fit. If I bend forward the headset stays securely on my head. I am concerned about long term fatigue from the tight fit.5) While I have used very few headsets these seem to have very good sound. Good base.6) The mic picks up the speaker's voice at a reasonable distance such that it doesn't have to be almost in contact with my lips to pick up my voice well. (see #8 above for necessary modification)7) The earpads cover the entire ear helping to muffle background noise and allowing for a lower volume setting.8) The mic boom arm is a thick cable which bends easily but stays in place once adjusted.Overall I like this item. I do expect to have to be rather careful with it to avoid breaking wires even with the product's sturdy design. Also I'll have to put washable cloth over some parts to avoid dirt build up from wear.
