I bought them with a computer I also got from Amazon. Even though the computer came out defective, these things worked. I got a replacement computer and I put them in and now my computer screams (not literally). The ram has made my computer run games and everything. Awesome and cheap product!

These modules worked right out of the box! They look really nice too. As many other reviewers on other sites have indicated, they seem to default to 1300hz. However, once you set them to 1600hz in your bios, you'll be good to go!

I have Windows 7 64 Bit as my OS, and it was running programs so slow until I purchased these two 4GB sticks of RAM. Great product that works exactly as advertised. My computer took upwards of 45 seconds just to open Itunes originally, but with my new RAM, Itunes opens in literally 2 seconds. Also, I can now run Itunes and Minecraft at the same time now. Very happy with my purchase.

I got these to increase the amount of gigs of ram I currently had in my computer. NO problems and a good price at the time of purchase. I now have 6x2GB modules of Kingston KHX1600C9D3K3/6GK (2-Kits of 3 1.65V)that are without a home. Leave a comment if you can use them and for $10 I will ship them to you.

Got these memories as a gift; they work absolutely great and have plenty of stability in my overclocked system. A few things to keep in mind:- You need to use a 64-bit Operating System;- If your Operating System is Windows Home Basic or Premium, you will only be able to use 8 or 16GB respectively, even if it is 64-bits;- Watch out if you have enough clearance in the motherboard for the full set of memories; I have a hefty CPU cooler that leaves very little vertical clearance to install the memory module that was closest to the CPU;

i love these half size ram sticks and theyre the same specks as the hyper x blue for way less and they take up less space comes in handy if your using a giant aftermarket cpu cooler i hope they make more of these for more powerful applications definately worth the little doe you pay

Have several sticks in a HP DL360 G6 for a test Virtual environment. Runs great!! Would be great for database servers or any server that needs extra ram also. Remember with Quad channel DIMMs you can have no more than 2 DIMMs per channel currently. Check memory population rules with your vendor. Could be dual, triple or quad channel depending on your chipset & cpu combination. Also if mixing with Single or Dual Rank DIMMs normally the Quad ranked needs to be populated first or a specific order.

RAM is pretty simple stuff. I ordered the correct type for my computer, plugged it in and it worked fine. 12GB is a fantastically fast speed for me needs and this was the best priced option for that amount of speed.

Kingston is Kingston there's not much to say about the quality of their products.The timings of this RAM were bugging me, 9 9 9 27 at 1600 MHz is a little high compared to other products, after fooling around with it the lowest it would go to at 1600 MHz was 8 9 8 24 that's slightly better. Then I thought let's speed things up, I got it working fine and stable at 1866 MHz go figure.The windows experience index changed from 7.6 at 1600 MHz to 7.9 at 1866 MHz that's nice.Breaking it down I paid less than $45 for 1600 CL9 and I got RAM with 9 10 8 27 timings at 1866 Mhz.

The Technical Details state that this is DDR2 but the title and product features say it is DDR3. Since the two aren't compatiable (depending on the motherboard), which is it? DDR2 or DDR3?

After using Corsair Vengeance with my new PC build which gave my pc constant BSOD's, I replaced with this RAM , this IS on the compatibility list for my motherboard (Asus P8Z68-V LX) and now my PC works perfectly with no BSOD's for 2 days now.Buyers beware please check your motherboard compatibilty list (all Ram is NOT the same), before you purchase new Ram, whether for a new build, upgrade or replacement. It took me weeks to identify the reason for the BSOD's I was getting, I had no errors showing from the Ram at all when tested, and even the BSOD report from windows was unhelpful.

I hate these so called experts that build a few computes and now they know everything there is a difference between a factory defect and a line of products that where not designed very well I have been working for HP for 20years I was hired right out of school I am a chip designer. I am so tired of people whining about a piece of hardware that doesn't work out of the box we make over 50,000 different components a day this is a very sensitive process a small stray static shock can render a chip worthless and silicon is far from perfect that's how we get different speed chips and out of a batch maybe 3% to 10% don't even work then they are broken up into batches that have surface defects the more they are the slower the chip we have been getting better at etching a wafer but even with everything we do there are going to be ones that are defective off the bat or in an assembly line or on the way to the store if you judge a piece of hardware on one defective piece just think of all the people that made that and be glad we have such a small percentage that are defective after make 50,000 or more products a day. My own experience is almost all ways fix the problem if I send it back and get a new one so don't dump on a product because the first one you got didn't work This is not a perfect world or everything will work all the time.

I BOUGHT THIS RAM EVEN THOUGH I RECOGNIZE THE FACT IT HAS NO COOLERS ON IT.my reasoning was ram with coolers cost a little more and why not just order alot of ram... if theres is extra ram my guessing is it wouldnt get hot because the load wouldnt run it to death.im running a amd octacore/16 gigs of ram(must have a hemi)/2 radeon hd 6770/ 3 dell 22 inch/x-fi extreme gamer soundcard/ and a magyca hd thriller tv tuner..installed in a AZZA Solano 1000R CSAZ-1000R Full Tower / OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance Power Supply /blue orb 2 pcu cooler.when playing video games like call of duty my ram never exceeds 25 percent. pcu runs at about 20 percent.this ram is phenominal. i usually use corsair . but this ram is a bargain....like i said.. it must have a hemi

I got this memory on sale. When installed in a I2500K setup, it rated at 1333 instead of the 1600 described, but there is plenty of documentation warning you about this with the motherboards and the processor itself. this memory is also 1.65v instead of 1.5v. The boards do reduce voltage to the ram to protect the processor. My board allowed me to up the voltage to the correct settings. After a couple tweeks (which the cause was nothing to do with the memory itself), the system was running beautifully. There is never a low memory warning and the memory stays completly cool even after full 8 hours of gaming. The great thing is that it fit under the aftermarket cooler I have added to my system.

I put 24GB of this into a Dell Studio 435mt running Vista Home Premium 64bit. Keep in mind that this version of vista only allows me to actually use 16GB. The 24 was the only way I could get at least 16 into 6 slots (I'm pretty sure I needed to use either 3 or 6 slots, and that the sticks needed to all be identical). In any case, they all work (system shows 24GB), and the price was right. I do alot of video and photo editing and I'm not sure how much faster things are with the additional RAM (so far nothing seems to be way better), but my system monitor shows that I am using a larger chunk when multi tasking (photoshop and video), which I often do. I can't speak to gaming, and I suspect 24GB is overkill for everyday tasks - so you might consider upgrading other elements of your system first if you are not sure that RAM is your weak link. For me: so Far, so good.

I installed 8GB of Kingston Hyper X 1600MHz (2x4GB) into my latest build. It has worked fine and the price was very reasonable. I've used Kingston memory in a number of builds and have never had a problem, reliability is excellent. This may not be the best choice if you're a hard-core gamer, but in my opinion it's a great value for most other users and system builders. I plan to install another 8GB soon.

I chose the kingston valueRAM because it has been reliable for me in the past.Now the computer has 12 GB, the 4 original plus these eight. Everything works just fine. I do notice an improvement in some of my 3D renderings/modelings, android debugging, and that one document with about 50 full page images. Also, the antivirus stuff really doesn't seem to bog this machine down.I'm glad I upgraded.

I bought one pair of the same memory before from Amazon, it was good, I bought the second pair, now I have 16G memory in my Windows 7 Ultimate 64, I am happy about the performance and quality of Kingston memory.Run Prim 95 for 4 hours on my Windows 7 with AMD 980 push to 4.0 Ghz, system is very stable, no problem at all.

They look great and they work even better.Kingston is a great brand for RAM and these modules worked from the get go. Don't e surprised if the first modules don't work as RAM from any manufacturer is pretty hit and miss.

Purchased these for a computer system I built. Worked extremely well. Lifetime warranty. Solid performance, reliability. No compatibility issues. One issue, the motherboard did not recognize them as 1600Mhz, but after changing the settings in the bios, the problem was solved.

I bought this 8GB RAM kit to add to the 8GB I already had on my Dell Optiplex790 Win7 64 Bit computer. Installation went flawlessly and the computer recognized it right away. Now my large panorama photos process much faster in Photoshop.

As usual Kingston Ram is working super. Kingston has been around making Ram longer than just about anybody. I got Kingston in several boxes I built. I don't even buy off brand/unknown makers anymore. I just stick to a few name brand now and Kingston is on the top of my list. Of course I will be buying more Kingston Ram as needed.

When building a computer i asked a IT guy about memory.and this was what he recommended to me. I got a total of 24 gig of memory for my new computer i built, intel extreme board. Have no problem with the memory it is working great. The i7 extreme processor to match the motherboard and with this memory it is faster than i have ever seen. I really tested it and it doesn't seem to slow down. I have no complaints about this memory.

I ordered 8gb from the Warehouse for $32 delivered overseas and was worried about shipment, packaging and getting DOA parts - I was wrong! I've built an entire sandy bridge system from Amazon and everything is in great shape!I'm running 8gb on an Asus MB/i3 2120 rig and the performance is smooth, definitely faster than my old c2d 4gb setup. Set it up with a SSD and Win 7 and you have a quick system that is great for multimedia and basic desktop programs and fast enough for most games (depends on your VC). The 8GB is more than enough for this system, but for 32 bucks, I'm not complaining!

This ram works great, posted right away. Popped old ram out popped these in and that was it. I had 12gb before and figured I wouldn't see a significant change in performance, and I was right. It's still nice to know you got 24gb of ram for what 6gb cost you 2 years ago. I haven't tried over clocking yet and probably won't, don't really see the need for my applications. I have upgraded my computer from Amd phenom ii x2 to a Intel i5-2500k with As-rock z68 extreme3 gen3 motherboard. I had 2x2gb corsair 1333mhz memory. When I installed new windows 7 64bits it gave me a wei score of 5.9 and with windows 7 32 bit I had a rating of 7.3 so I researched and decided to go with 8gb memory.I have found that the Kingston Hyperx had one of the best ratings and was the better one for the price. I hooked it up and my rig recognized it from out of the box 8gb with 1600mgz. My wei sore went from 5.9 to a great 7.5, my processor was before 7.2 and now it is 7.8!!!Great memory if you are on a tight budget but want to upgrade. I recommend this to everyone.

I bought these in Aug '11 for ~$75. I was replacing some old dimms that came with my PC. I saw a slight increase in speed when I put these in and took out the 3x1GB dimms that were in there. I eventually wanted to get more and when I saw the price drop to $37 in Dec '11 I had to buy them. For that price it was very worth it. I'm now rocking 16GB of memory, and it feels nice to have a full game loaded into memory.I read an article saying that by the end of Jan '12 the prices of memory was going to go up, I see these dimms have already gone up. If you're thinking of getting some memory I would before the prices go up more.

Not sure if anyone has said this before but it is fast memory, however, you must go into your bios and select 1600MHZ so you can benefit from the speed this stuff can put out. Great buy recommended for low profile ram, especially those who have huge cpu fans, this will probably fit even if the cpu fan hangs over, mine does with a 212 Cooler Master.
