I needed to upgrade my machine (had 6gb Corsair XMS) and was looking around for something worthwhile. At the price and quantity (not to mention Kingston HyperX), I couldn't resist. Everything's running great, I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy.

Cant be clocked on my Asus sabertooth z77 to 2133. Get blue screens. Not sure why. Got it clocked at 19?? somthing now,{I let the motherboard pick the highest stable speed} and its been working fine every since.(Im not useing liquid cooling, because I couldnt find a cost efective way of doing it with the Memory. CPU is liquid cooled though.)

Does its job well with no issues. Looks good too! I plan to install a HyperX Cooler too but to be honest its unnecessary (unless over clocking) as these modules run cool!

After browsing a lot of gaudy, in-your-face DDR3 memory modules with ridiculously oversized heatsinks (Vengeance, Ripjaw X), this was a sight for sore eyes. The memory is barely taller or wider than a standard DDR3 module, but it includes a heatsink. It looks superb - shiny blue finish with silver accents. Feels solid.This is actually the second tier of Kingston's DDR3 lineup ("Genesis") and is similar to the G.Skill Sniper series in size and performance. I fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus (push setup) next to these HyperX modulus on a Gigabyte Z68 mobo with no problem at all. I can see that there is plenty of space for an additional 2 modules for the future. Try doing that with a Corsair Vengeance...At $49.99 for 2x4GB 1.5V 9-9-9-24 timing 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, it's not the cheapest, but it looks much sleeker than other memory modules and is great if you want to stuff a big CPU cooler nearby.Frankly 4 or 6 GB is sufficient for Windows7 64 bit, but you don't pay much more for 8GB, which will come in handy in the future.Tip: My motherboard auto-set the memory frequency to 1333 Mhz timing, so I had to manually set it 1600 Mhz. No issues thus far.

Significant increase over the slower 8GBs of memory (I know to be expected). Also allowed me to create a RAMDisk that is working well. No more memory bottlenecks for me. Only downside, motherboard has 16GB limitation.

It works in Phenom II x4 motherboard. ValueRAM makes this thing sound cheap, and I dont like cheap things. This has the certified Kingston stickers on it which make it higher than normal quality and reliability.

My initial review of this memory was based on faulty reasoning on my part. As T. Meadows helpfully pointed out, the overall score is based on more than memory, which I failed to notice. Since buying Corsair memory and noticing the same thing, the overall score went up almost exactly the same as with this Kingston memory, I left an ignorant review. But I like to learn, so thank you T. Meadows for educating me.Thank you also to the Kingston representative who responded, and sorry for my ignorance on this one. But as I stated in my initial review, Kingston memory has always given me superior results in the past. Sorry for my off the cuff review.

So far no problems and no dead sticks. I have used Kingston in the past and never had a problem. This is definitely worth the price and fits perfectly under the cpu cooler I have (Cooler Master Hyper 212).

Finally jumped up to 24 gigs (matched set of 6 x 4) and it's nice. All 6 sticks read instantly in my Win7pro64 desktop. Haven't overclocked it yet but everyone says it can handle a modest push. This ram fulfills my expectations and I'd recommend it.

See subject. The modules I must say were physically beautiful and well crafted but not too bulky to fit in my two slot application. I had no trouble installing in a low profile case.Furthermore, I enjoyed and immediately noticeable performance improvement when I booted by Ubuntu 12.04 x64 machine back up, replacing the stock generic 2x2 GB chips with these sleek and shiny powerhouses.My box is a modest thing to start with, an AMD 11 x4 quad core 3.1ghz (800 per core) acer low profile budget machine. So it made quite a show of being calmly indifferent to the introduction of these wonderful specimens of engineering.In addition to the capacity, I am sure I now enjoy better performance all around in multimedia and entertainment apps (this is a media pc, for which I also had to aquire a low pro fanless vid card with HDMI to connect to the big screen) but also in day to day use.I could not be more pleased.

Kingston products just work, need I say more? This ram does not have the fancy heatsink, but works flawlessly in the workstation I built for my customer to run autocad.

I got these for the same price I bought 6gb of corsair. These are the only chips I could find that would work with my older mainboard, I plan to grab another set to max it out.

Works great, my motherboard was only reading it at 1333 but I made some easy changes in the bios using information from Kingston's website and it's jamming along fine at 1600.

I bought a HP Microserver some few months ago and, although the server is really good, the memory wasn't enough.A pair of this ECC memory is what I needed to have good performance for either file (RAID1) and media server (Subsonic).Great choice.

I bougtht 2 sets of these (for a total of 16GB) for a recent build. The sticks have an aluminum heat sink on them, which looks cool. They installed easy, and work great. I have had no issues with this memory. All 4 sticks work together perfectly. I would buy this brand again.

They are so great! Cheap and Fast... Unlike my Corsair memory, they don't crash, they don't slower their steps... Before these memories, I got two Corsair XM3S 4GB for $39.99!!! They are more expensive and kept crashing!!! CORSAIRs are just like hell and KINGSTON are just like heaven!!! This lesson taught me that you can spend less money and buy better thing if you chose the right brand.Buy KINGSTON, No CORSAIR... my experience.

Very good memory for both every-day as well as gaming uses. On daily basis, I run it at stock 1333 MHz frequency, but switch to 1600 MHz when doing gaming. The difference is noticeable, especially with higher resolution games where more textures have to be processed and offloaded to RAM.Works great on my P55A-UD4P motherboard, even though I had problems with other memory modules (went through 8 sets of memory sticks to finally find these ones).No cons that I can find as of today, run smooth, run cool even at 1600 MHz, no BSOD problems and 16G of memory is nice if you need more demanding software running on your system. I do video editing from time to time so having a bit more extra memory is certainly welcome. Same for virtual machines (running Ubuntu 12.04 right now)In short, I recommend wholeheartedly

I purchased this RAM for my Acer Aspire X1420 from Amazon Warehouse Deals, and I got it for a low price of $30 dollars. It didnt come in the retail packaging, but that didn't matter at all. The RAM is half-height, so that makes it a great choice for low profile system builders, or casual users who won't overclock it. The smaller form factor allows me to remove or insert the RAM without removing the DVD drive from my rather cramped case. Once installed, my machine fired right up, and saw 8192mb of RAM right away. Combined with my AMD Athlon II X4 645 processor, it scores a 7.3 WEI rating. Couldn't be happier with the product, price, or UPS shipping!

bought this on advice from my brother who is computer guru. granted there may not be much difference in ram brands as i know many other gamers who swear by other brands, this was recommended to me because Kingston has the highest customer satisfaction reputation in the biz. I run 2pairs of this is my newly built super machine and haven't even come close to stressing it. even with graphics intensive work these run like champs. besides the look super cool! :P i will be buying Kingston again in the future.

I used this memory to put together a computer for my daughter. I already had an E2160 processor and hard disk drive, so I wanted to use those parts and put something together that would be reasonable and functional for surfing the Internet and doing college work. This RAM worked out very well and after getting everything installed I was satisfied enough with the performance that I didn't even overclock the processor to try and get more out of it. This is good, stable RAM that didn't require a lot of tweaking to get up and running.
