This is the second microSDHC card I've purchased--the other from a different manufacturer with a similar dongle--and both dongles with this design are unreliable on both my Macs. If you have a PC, it may not be an issue, but if you have a MAC, find a better option if you need the USB dongle. I was able to get mine working by using the USB adapter that came with my wife's brothers handheld Nintendo. The flash memory itself works as expected.

It's probably my fault for not testing the card before I took it on vacation, but I've never had issues with other class 10 cards (adata, transcend, sandisk). I have other kingston cards but they're used in cell phones and don't require speed. I decided to try this one because it was on sale, and what a mistake. It's no faster than 3.5 mb/s, and on my Nikon D7000, it is so slow!!! I took the card and camera on vacation and missed plenty of good shots because of it. My backup card is only 4gb and filled up quickly so I was left with this slow POS.

I really like this chip because of the versatility, three sizes for the price of one! I can move this chip from one device to another very easily. If you don't think that this is a good deal, go to the store and compare pricing.

I was going to purchase a 32 GB card for backing up some work video footage I edit, but the price point on the 16 GB made it a more attractive option for now. I have had no problems with the card so far (knock on wood!) and it does what it's supposed to do.

I use ckflash to measure the speed and I got the 10 mbps writing and 19 mbps reading. so maybe somebody get a bad copy or I was really lucky but mine works flawless and quicker than others that I have. sadly sandisk looks like is working at better speeds (and of course higher prices), but this one delivers what offers.

This is a basic, baseline model for SD cards that should suffice for most cameras that don't shoot:1) large RAW2) HD Vids3) Continuous shots.It's a slow card, but it's super cheap. If your needs are higher, then of course, go for higher speed Class 6 or higher cards, but expect to pay more.

Purchased for my Canon DV camcorder replacing a 8gb Kingston class 6 card. The old class 6 card was had no problem handling the 17mbs write speed yet this card even though it is rated as a class 10 card could only handle a reduced video setting of 12mbs.

Maybe I'm not technical enough to know off any defaults with this card or brand; the reviews I read here before buying seemed a little obnoxious, elitist. Maybe they know something I don't. But I have other cards by Kingston and none have ever failed me. This is the largest size card I have, and so far I have no complaints about it either. Maybe if you're using it to film your own Sci-Fi epic or covering Fashion Week it would not be the right card for you. But if you are just taking pictures for your own enjoyment, I see no problem with it.
