I bought the SSD to make my old PC faster.
Kingston, I am a fanboy of Kingston; since the day I got my first RAM from Kingston back about 2011, and still using them. Earlier SSDs were costly but recently, so I bought this item twice from TPS Technologies. I used this one to make my old PC faster and ready for Windows 10. This is a 240 GB SSD but after format I got 223 GB of space, which was OK with NTFS. Because NTFS takes that much space to keep various information. After installing Windows 10, the PC responded faster then I expected, it went like FLASH! I never used any other SSD but this Kingston SSD seemed to be perfect for any user with budget accessory. It comes with Kingston SSD Health monitory software downloadable from Kingston site.

Good. Value for money and best of all speed over HDD.
The package was shipped on time and the packaging was not that great but still, I am giving an overall rating of 4 as the package arrived early than expected. Although I have not tested the performance of this SSD hard drive, I am trusting Kingston to hold their promise. I will update the comment with the statistics if I find anything wrong.

NOT RECOMMENDED Slow speed doesnt match the description
As the SSD in the description is shown the speed, Capacity: 240GB, Interface: SATA Rev. 3.0 (6Gb/s) – with backwards compatibility to SATA Rev. 2.0. 240GB — 500MB/s read and 350MB/s write. It is not up to the mark that the SSD is not showing the described speed I don't know its happened to me only or others face this too, Anyway its okay for an upgrade to and old PC But don't expect too much as shown in the description.

Great product
I used this product as my primary C: drive in my old laptop and now it feels good as new. Any SSD will greatly improve the performance over an old HDD. If this is all you can afford then just go for it. It has been working fine for me and I have nothing to complain about. Recommended.

WOW.. Amazing Drive
Wow.. just WOW! I was planning to buy a new laptop as my current one Dell Inspiron 3567 is 3 years old and took 4 mins just to boot up. Tried reinstalling the OS, which improved my boot time to 2.5 mins but working on the laptop was drag.. it was so slow.. A friend (I refer to him as angle now) suggested me to just upgrade my HDD to this SSD.. fixed at home (thanks to youtube tutorials), it was like a breeze.. this drive fixed exactly in the old drive space and performace.. am bowled.. my boot time is now 20 secs.. :)
I would strongly recommend this drive for folks who want to add wings to your laptop

Value for money
This is my first SSD, i am using an external housing to use with my imac. Love the convenience of leaving the SSD connected to my mac and leave it ON. Not scared of the disk crashing due to wear and tear.

Best upgrade for your PC
I have been using this ssd in my pc as boot drive and I have to say this has been the best upgrade to my rig. I had been using a mechanical hard drive for nearly a year and boot usually took around 3-5 minutes with chrome hogging all the memory. But since I am using a ssd the boot time has come down to like 12-15 seconds. I start the computer and boom... I'm right in doing my work.
If you want to upgrade your rig or your laptop because of slow load times, trust me, a ssd is the way to go. It will definitly benefit you in the long run.

This is a value for money product. I used this SSD to replace the slow HDD in my laptop.
Works as described, by laptop is atleast 5x faster now. (Boot speed of 20 seconds on an i3 7th Gen as compared to 2 mins before)
One downside is the build quality. The plastic seems cheap and the packaging was poor, it was just packed in a single plastic sheet - no box, no protection.
At Rs. 2700, it's a great buy! If your laptop is slow, try replacing the HDD with this SSD. Your laptop could get a new life.

Whatever.. if you're looking to upgrade your old laptop to a super fast device as compared to previous one..
Go for it.
With Ubuntu it's lighting fast.. actually 50 times or even more.. faster than windows.

Must buy if u r using old pc especially.
Awesome product. I am using old desktp pc with pentium core 2duo and i am running windows 10. Earlier my pc took almost 3-4 mins to boot but after i had installed it in my pc. It takes only 8- 10 sec to boot i m thrilled. It boosted my pc performance. Loved it.

Buy if you don't care about cache memory
There is no slc cache. It gave me 600ms response time while installing a big Windows update (3.5GB).
Thats when I realised this ssd's drawbacks. Adata definitely better at the same price as they have slc cache. And if you can, then get 860evo.

Light in weight and fast in performance..
My 10 year old Compaq laptop is working very fast after installing this SSD. Installed Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 side by side. No problems faced during installation. No problems in the working till now. I don't know about the gaming performance because I am using my laptop for teaching purpose only.

Cheapest SSD to make your old PC fly!
Not the fastest SSD. But it resurrected my 10 year old X58 based PC. AJA disk speed is about 250 MB/s read and write. The limitation is due to the very old SATA 3 gbps interface. Therefore modern SATA controllers should give double the throughput. Otherwise it is a valueable option to give old legacy computers a second life.
