Not Good

I bought these headphones to use with my mobile.When i attach these with my moible phone and call, then call reciever get lot of noice . i will have to have remove the earphone then to have a proper call. Finally have stopped using these headphones. This is very disappointing.

If you are music lover then also you will be disappointed. Don't buy these.

The only good thing is that these does not slip from your ear. But quality is very cheap.

Very comfortable ear fit!

I bought this mainly for the price and design, as I don't like the ubiquitous inside-your-ear earbuds these days, but didn't want something to cover the ears. There are not many ear hook earbuds these days, so I wanted to try these out. I mainly use this for day long phone calls with work during this shelter-in-place restrictions but have used these for workouts.

Pluses:
1) Very comfortable fit
2) Doesn't give me a slight earache like the inside-your-ear earbuds after long usage. (After several weeks of daily usage, I learned to appreciate the design.)
3) Price!

Minuses:
1) the plastic kind of looks cheap for the red color version but the price was affordable anyway

Overall, I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants something not too expensive but didn't want
the ubiquitous inside ear earbuds.

My favorite!

I liked them so much, I've bought them twice (the first pair went through the wash, oops).

I never find the regular style of earbuds comfortable because of the size/shape of my ear canals. They either hurt or get pushed out because they're too big. These are super comfortable and don't fall out when I workout. The button is convenient for track skipping and taking calls. Sound quality is as good as any other earbuds I've tried.

My favourite cheap corded headphones I've ever owned. I've rebought these 3 times over the years 'cause I like the curved earbud more than the usual kind you find everywhere. I like how the earbuds are snug in the ear and I can change the music to the next song on the cord. Not too annoying while exercising. Every pair I bought before I switched to bluetooth earbuds died in the left ear after a while.

Not as good as YurBuds

But, then again, YurBuds aren't made anymore.
It takes quite a bit more work to get these to fit properly in my ear but, once that is done, they work without issue and the sound quality is good. If they do not sit in my ear properly the sound is absolutely terrible. There is no in-between.

Poor quality even for the low price

I've purchased other low cost earbuds that had a much higher quality than these. The cord is stiff, the remote feels like it's going to break any second, and the ear bud material is so flimsy half the time I can't hear one ear or the other and have to adjust them to get it to sit open.

They work, but aren't great.

I was looking for a replacement for my old Yurbuds, so I bought these because reviews said they were a good, less expensive alternative. After using them for a week, I would not say these are a replacement that is as good as my old earbuds. Comparing the sound quality, Yurbuds has clearer audio.
They have a faint white noise that you can hear when audio is playing, but it cuts out when there is a pause or silence in playback. Sometimes it feels like one ear is louder than the other. They are pretty comfortable, however. And they do the job fine.

For folks with small ear canals.

These things are great for people with small ear canals...and they don’t fall out during workout.

In 2 months the left speaker quit so I ordered a replacement set which was $4.00 cheaper. Sounds fantastic and I’m hoping new set will last longer.

Decent

Good sound quality, but I find when I run, sometimes the audio control buttons near my neck/shoulders hit my skin and trigger the function when I absolutely don't want it to. I've had to disable these buttons through my phone settings to eliminate the use of the buttons altogether.

Good otherwise, but maybe not the right choice to use for running.

Totally awesome ear buds for the price!

I am surprisingly pleased with these headphones. Great sound quality and the small ear insert tips are comfortable and fit my ears perfectly. I bought to replace a pair of ear buds from a different manufacturer that were uncomfortable with poor sound quality, and I am glad I did, I just wish that I had done it sooner.

The best In class

So far this is the best headset I have ever experienced.
I use this model for the past 7 years and it is still great.
Just bought it as a spare set in case my old one finally fail.
Main pros:
1) Bass - what makes it outstanding from others. No other brand names can compare with the quality of sound.
2) Human ears are all different, however for me this is the most comfortable and easy wearing design.
Five stars to JVC for this product, and thanks to Prime for the fast shipping.

What I expected

What I expected for the price and style of earbuds. Decent sound, comfortable, but does not block out outside noise. Good if you want to hear what is going on around you while listening to music.

Great earbuds!

I love these earbuds because they remind me of the Yurbuds I had years ago. Both were noise canceling earbuds and didn't leak sound out like your typical earbuds. These fit into my ear canal with ease and are comfortable. I'm buying another set to have as back-up. They are a value at their price.

I love them and made one pair last aver a few years. found more on line and bought a few pair. was nice enough to give one to my husband who goes through ear buds like crazy. with in a few weeks he had washed and dried them. they still worked. thank you for making a style that fit my ears and are comfortable for me

SO comfy for small ears!

I have small ears and earphones/earbuds are just so uncomfortable for me. These are soft and comfortable AND affordable! I should order another set in case they disappear from Amazon. Highly recommend.

Replaced Yurbuds

I broke my Yurbuds twice so finally went with this cheaper option. There is no difference between this and Yurbuds. Save your money and get this instead. These are the only kind of desigbed earbuds/headphones I find comfortable enough to wear but thought only Yurbuds made those. I was happy to find this alternative.

Comfortable, Clear Sound for Books, Phone

I’ve used these headsets for years for audiobooks & phone use. They’re the most comfortable I’ve found & the sound is clear.
I use something else for my music, with deeper bass sound capabilities that this set doesn’t quite reach.

Decent price for good quality earphones

Had no choice but to buy these earphones since all of the Walmarts stopped selling them. I loved the price for them when I didn't have $30 to throw out for the apple ear buds. These are the same ones that I got from Walmart but I see that JVC upgraded them. They sound even better and have a different design on them than how they were in Walmart. They feel very comfortable too. Don't easily slip out of my ears. My only problem is the piece that is on the earphones sometimes comes off when I put them in my pockets or if they get caught onto something.

Update: I take back everything I said about these earphones. In my earlier review, I said they were good and had amazing sound quality. However, after onky having the earphones for a few days, the mic gave out on me which really pissed me off because I can't stand having my phone up to my ear. Gotta have earphones in my ear. Screw these. What a waste of time and money

Broken in 34 days

I bought these for my daughter to use at school, she took them to school on her first day and less than a month after using them in a controlled environment at school for her laptop, only being stored at school, one of the entire ear pieces fell off.

These are my go to.

No one else makes the gummy type to cover speaker, and they are great for hiking, outdoors, inside, etc. You can still hear the outside world, and it's not overwhelming.

My only request is a volume control.

These failed and I may be insane

I ordered these because I have a tough ears to fit earbuds. These were extraordinary in that they popped out as soon as I put them in. No slowly working their way out, no empty promise of fitting until I started to move about. Nope! In and POP out. Repeat. Repeat too many times trying to wiggle them this way and that; trying to screw them in like Yurbuds and getting the same reaction each time: In. And. Out.
Yes, I’m aware that’s the definition of insanity, but it could also be the definition of optimism, okay?
I can’t rate these on sound quality or noise cancelling because I never got that far with them, I tossed them to my teen son with instructions to “Never show me these again.”

If you have normal ears, these should be fine; if you have weird ones like me...scroll on. I suggest YurBuds.

these are horrible

i had previous versions of these headphones and while low cost produced adequate sound and fit well these fail so hard right out the box. the rubber covers are mandatory and just feel super uncomfortable and you cant take them off and still use the headphones. the sound was horrible - these are full fail. i bought these to replace new apple headphones that sounded like garbage

cheap and uncomfortable

Cheaply made and the ear buds are horribly designed. They reach back far enough to hit your ear drum. I tried to return but they made me take the item to a location I do not have access to, it would have cost me more money to get an uber so I ended up sticking with them. Garbage.

Good headset if you're not rough with them.

This is the 2nd set of JVC headphones I have purchased in 6 months and I have liked them while they worked. The sound quality is great and they are very comfortable to wear. However, the 1st pair shorted out after 2 months and the ear pieces were easily lost. My
2nd pair I've had for just 33 days (3 days too late to return) and the microphone and song advance features have stopped working. I've looked for fixes but nothing has worked. I don't think I will purchase a 3rd set.

Ouch...

Idk why nobody is talking about the fact that the gumy seam on the earbud is literally killing my ears right now but I don’t have my other headphones... Maybe I got a bad batch with bad seams but I’m not sure. I bought these thinking they were like my yurbuds but those are way more comfortable! I’m going to buy some yurbuds right now. 👎🏻

OK, not great sound. Broke after 3 months

I bought the JVCs in Sept, now in Dec, only 3 months later, one of the buds has died. Additionally, the sound is only marginal. I have other earbuds at the same price point that sound better. The only positive is these earpieces secure well. I bought these to jog with and, they don't fall out during a run.

Potential to be good headphones - broke within a month

I have been using these headphones for a month with no issues. I leave them plugged into my work laptop, they are quite comfortable and sound plenty fine for me. Unfortunately earlier this week one of the headphones stopped playing music - a deal breaker for me. I was not rough with them whatsoever, so I am pretty disappointed that they would break so soon.
